Project scheduling is an important element for shipyard companies to gain more profit. The most frequently used analysis is the Critical Path Method (CPM). However, in reality, planning using the CPM method is considered less efficient because it does not consider the productivity of each job in it and adds safety time which causes the project duration to become longer. In accordance with the above problems, a new method for planning project schedules is now being developed, namely Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM). CCPM is a project planning method that emphasizes the resources needed to carry out existing tasks in the project. This method is carried out by eliminating multitasking, student syndrome, Parkinson's law and providing a buffer at the end of the project. In this final project, a comparison of the duration of the results of applying the CCPM method with the Critical Path Method (CPM) method is carried out in a case study of ship repairs at PT. Galangan Kapal Madura. The initial project scheduling uses the traditional method in the form of a Gantt chart which is then broken down in more detail and completely with the relationship between activities in the form of CPM, and then will be compared with the duration of the results of CCPM scheduling which has eliminated multitasking, eliminated Safety time for each activity and provided a buffer in the work.

Stock price crash risk has become a critical concern in investment decision making and risk management, drawing the attention of investors and regulators amid a dynamic global business environment and repeated financial crises. However, empirical evidence on this issue remains limited in developing countries, particularly in the Iraqi context. Therefore, this study examines the relationship between board characteristics—board gender diversity, board size, and board independence—and stock price crash risk, as well as the mediating role of audit committee effectiveness. The study uses secondary data from ten banks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange (ISX) during the 2017–2023 period. The findings show that board gender diversity and board size significantly reduce stock price crash risk. Higher female representation on boards is associated with more conservative decision making and stronger monitoring, which improves financial reporting transparency. An appropriately sized board also enhances oversight and lowers the likelihood of extreme negative stock price movements. In addition, the results indicate that the frequency of audit committee meetings mediates the relationship between board independence and stock price crash risk, suggesting that board independence is more effective when supported by an active audit committee. This study recommends that investors and financial analysts consider board characteristics and audit committee effectiveness when assessing firm value and risk. Furthermore, regulators and policymakers are encouraged to promote gender diversity on corporate boards to strengthen governance quality and reduce the probability of stock price crashes.

Hypertension is a chronic condition that requires long-term management due to its strong association with an increased risk of serious complications when blood pressure is not adequately controlled. One of the key factors influencing the success of hypertension management is patient adherence to antihypertensive medication. However, suboptimal adherence remains a common problem and may lead to poor therapeutic outcomes. This literature review aimed to examine the relationship between adherence to antihypertensive medication and blood pressure control among patients with hypertension. A systematic search of the literature was conducted using the PubMed and Google Scholar databases with relevant keywords combined through Boolean operators. The selected articles were screened based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, including original research articles published within the last ten years, accessible in full text, and addressing the association between medication adherence and blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The findings of the reviewed studies indicate that most articles reported a significant relationship between medication adherence and blood pressure levels. Patients with higher adherence to antihypertensive therapy tended to achieve better blood pressure control compared to those with lower adherence. Although variations in the strength of the reported associations were observed across studies, the overall direction of the relationship was consistent. These results suggest that adherence to antihypertensive medication plays an essential role in achieving optimal blood pressure control. Therefore, this review highlights the importance of continuous efforts to improve patient adherence as part of effective hypertension management strategies aimed at reducing the risk of long-term complications.

The development of the modern business world is marked by the increasing complexity of legal relationships between business actors, involving various entities with close economic and operational interconnections. This condition creates challenges in civil dispute resolution, especially when default occurs in multi-party business agreements. This study aims to analyze the application of the joint and several liability (tangung renteng) legal construction as a business dispute resolution mechanism in the Decision of the North Jakarta District Court Number 833/Pdt.G/2024/PN Jkt.Urr. This research uses normative legal research methods with statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. The legal materials used consist of primary legal materials in the form of legislation and court decisions, as well as secondary legal materials in the form of legal books and journals, which are analyzed descriptively-analytically. The results show that the panel of judges applied the joint and several liability construction not only based on formal contractual relationships, but also on the factual and economic interconnections between the parties, such as the receipt of benefits, operational integration, and the commingling of assets between the business entity and its management. The application of this construction proves effective in expanding the basis of liability and guaranteeing the recovery of creditor's rights. However, the decision also shows limitations in proving commercial immaterial losses, which are still bound by strict civil evidence standards. This study concludes that the joint and several liability construction can be an important instrument in resolving multi-party business disputes, but clearer jurisprudential guidelines are needed to ensure legal certainty and consistency of its application in the future.

Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are two highly prevalent non-communicable diseases that often coexist as comorbidities, significantly increasing the risk of cardiovascular complications. The coexistence of these conditions accelerates the onset of atherosclerosis, diabetic nephropathy, and kidney failure, thereby requiring more comprehensive clinical management. One of the key parameters in diabetes management is fasting blood glucose (FBG), which reflects the balance of glucose metabolism after a fasting period. Chronic hyperglycemia is known to contribute to endothelial dysfunction, increased peripheral vascular resistance, and activation of the sympathetic nervous system and renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, ultimately leading to elevated blood pressure. This study employed a systematic literature review approach, analyzing articles published between 2021 and 2025. Narrative synthesis was conducted across various study designs, including cross-sectional, cohort, and meta-analysis studies. The findings indicate that most studies support a significant association between FBG levels and blood pressure, although some reported varying results. Cohort studies provide stronger evidence that elevated FBG increases the risk of new-onset hypertension. Age, treatment adherence, and lifestyle factors were also identified as confounding variables influencing outcomes. Overall, the evidence highlights that glycemic control through FBG monitoring is essential in managing hypertension among diabetic patients. Multidisciplinary strategies, patient education, and strengthening of primary healthcare services are required to reduce cardiovascular risks. Longitudinal studies are recommended to deepen the understanding of the relationship between FBG and blood pressure and to reinforce the scientific basis for evidence-based clinical interventions.
