This study investigates the implementation of reasonable accommodations for students with special needs at SMP Negeri 32 Kota Tangerang. The research focuses on how inclusive education is operationalized within a public junior high school context to ensure equal educational opportunities for all learners, regardless of their physical, intellectual, or emotional differences. The central problem addressed concerns the extent to which inclusive policies and practices are effectively translated into tangible support systems for students with special needs. Accordingly, the primary objective of this study is to analyze the implementation process, challenges, and outcomes of reasonable accommodations in promoting inclusive learning environments. A qualitative research design was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, special education teachers, homeroom and subject teachers, as well as students with special needs, complemented by documentation analysis. The validity of the data was established through triangulation, encompassing processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings demonstrate that SMP Negeri 32 Kota Tangerang has successfully implemented reasonable accommodations supported by the BOSDA Inklusi program. This funding facilitates the provision of accessibility features—including ramps, guiding blocks, accessible toilets, and wheelchairs—alongside adaptive learning materials and teacher remuneration. Furthermore, systematic identification and assessment procedures are conducted regularly, and the curriculum is continuously adapted to meet individual learning needs. The school also organizes regular capacity-building programs for educators and staff. In addition, strong collaboration with the Tangerang City Government, the Difabel Mandiri Indonesia Foundation, and USAID Madani provides sustained technical assistance and monitoring.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in alleviating poverty, with a case study focus on Sei Jang Village, Tanjungpinang City. PKH is a social assistance program initiated by the government to improve the welfare of the poor through conditional cash assistance. The reason the researcher chose this title was to determine the extent to which PKH is effective in reducing poverty, especially since data shows a decline in the number of PKH recipients in Sei Jang Village in 2023. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data is obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. To measure the level of effectiveness, the theory from (Makmur, 2015) was used, which states that the elements of effectiveness include accuracy in timing, accuracy in calculation, accuracy in measurement, accuracy in decision making, accuracy in thinking, accuracy in carrying out orders, accuracy in determining goals, and accuracy in targeting. The results of the study show that PKH has had a positive impact on reducing the economic burden on poor families, particularly in meeting the educational and health needs of children. However, the effectiveness of this program is still hampered by several factors, such as delays in fund disbursement, participants' lack of understanding of the program's terms and conditions, and minimal assistance from relevant officials. In addition, another challenge in the form of inaccuracy in targeting beneficiaries also affects the overall achievement of the program. These findings indicate that better management and supervision are urgently needed. This study concludes that although PKH contributes significantly to poverty alleviation, improvements in management and supervision are needed to maximize the program's objectives. The proposed recommendations include increasing the capacity of social workers, improving the beneficiary selection mechanism, and strengthening coordination among stakeholders at the local level.

Marriage is the only way to legalize the relationship between men and women in order to realize the happiness of family life. Marriage is also a complement to the religion of Muslims. However, because marriage basically unites two different individuals, it certainly does not rule out the possibility of differences of opinion and other problems. Divorce is the last resort for a marital relationship that can no longer be maintained, divorce can occur for several reasons, including because the couple has changed religions, as contained in the Compilation of Islamic Law Article 116 letter H. Divorce certainly causes a legal consequence, one of which is the effect on children. If the divorce occurs because the wife or a mother has changed, then how is the determination of custody of a child who has not been mumayyiz. The purpose of this study is to find out the judge's considerations in determining child custody due to divorce because the couple changed religion in the decision Number 1515/Pdt.G/2015/PA.Smn. This research is a normative-empirical legal research, this research data uses secondary data consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. To complete the secondary data, interviews were also conducted with the judge at the Sleman Religious Court. Based on the results of the research and analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the judge's consideration in deciding the case of determining child custody due to divorce caused by a couple converting (apostasy) at the Sleman Religious Court was given to the Applicant as his father in order to maintain the safety of his child's faith and the best interests for his child and for the sake of the child's future.

The integration of language and culture plays a crucial role in shaping the complexity of human cognitive processes. Language acts not only as a means of conveying messages but also as a conceptual system that influences how individuals construct mental representations, process information, and reason. Culture, on the other hand, provides a set of values, norms, and thought patterns that shape attention, interpretation of experiences, and strategies for understanding the social world. A review of literature from the fields of linguistic relativity, cultural psychology, neurolinguistics, and cross-cultural cognition found that differences in language structure, bilingual experience, and cultural value orientations result in variations in perception, memory, and executive function. Neurocognitive findings indicate that the influence of language and culture is evident down to the level of brain activation. Furthermore, the sociocultural approach emphasizes the role of language as a mediating tool in the process of internalizing values and developing higher-order cognitive abilities. Thus, human cognition is the result of a dynamic interaction between language, culture, and social experience.

This literature review examines the effectiveness of planning history learning based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in developing students critical thinking skills. The study is motivated by the persistent dominance of teacher-centered instruction in history classes, which limits students analytical and reflective engagement with historical issues. This research aims to analyze how structured PBL, based lesson planning especially in designing problems, learning activities, media, and evaluation tools. Can enhance critical historical reasoning. Using a qualitative descriptive method through a review of journal articles, books, and research reports, the study finds that effective PBL planning requires identifying authentic historical problems, organizing collaborative inquiry activities, providing adequate scaffolding, and using critical thinking oriented evaluation rubrics. The results show that PBL consistently improves students’ analytical, evaluative, and interpretive abilities when supported by systematic planning and sufficient learning resources. The study implies that teachers must strengthen the planning phase, particularly in preparing learning scenarios and assessment instruments, to maximize the impact of PBL on critical thinking development.

This study focuses on the development of a case study–based digital book aimed at improving learning quality in Office Management education, where students are required to master both conceptual understanding and practical decision-making skills. Despite the increasing use of digital learning resources in higher education, existing instructional materials often lack contextual integration between theory and real workplace scenarios, resulting in limited student engagement and insufficient opportunities for problem-based learning. To address this issue, the present research aims to design and develop an interactive digital book enriched with authentic case studies that align with course learning outcomes. The study employed a Research and Development approach using the 4-D model Define, Design, and Develop to produce learning materials validated by experts and tested through limited trials. The results show that the digital book achieved high feasibility, with an average expert validation score of 87.33%, while student responses reached 93.87%, indicating strong acceptance, improved motivation, and enhanced perceived understanding. The synthesis of these findings demonstrates that embedding case-based learning elements into digital book formats can effectively support critical thinking, contextual reasoning, and independent learning in Office Management courses. In conclusion, the developed digital book is classified as highly feasible for instructional use and holds substantial potential to enhance learning experiences, although further research is recommended to examine its broader effectiveness and long-term impact on student learning outcomes.

This article examines the conceot of knowledge (ilmu) within the Islamic perspective, which holds a highliy privileged position, ranking second only to the word Tauhid (Monotheism) in Islamic teachings. his paper employs a Library Research methodology (kajian pustaka). his approach involves the assimilation, study, and in-depth analysis of various readings utilized by the author. he presence of knowledge and education profoundly influences the development of human life concepts. In the Qur'an, the word "ilmu" (knowledge/science), in its various forms, in Quran, testifying to the distinctiveness of humans as caliphs on earth. Literally, "ilmu" is defined as knowing or to know, while technically it means understanding the reality of something or the rule governing it. The ultimate source of knowledge is Allah SWT. The process of teaching knowledge from Allah can be direct (revelation/inspiration or wahyu/ilham) or indirect (through the medium of natural phenomena He created). Knowledge acquisition can be achieved through several approaches, including: practice (pengamalan), experience (pengalaman), rational (rasional using intellect/reason), emotional, and habituation (pembiasaan). Islamic scholars have classified knowledge based on its object of study and source. For instance, Ibn Sina categorized knowledge into three types: al-‘ilm al-ilahi (divine and metaphysical knowledge), al-ilm al-riyahi (mathematics), and il-‘ilm tabi’I (natural sciences). Al-Ghazali classified it into ilmu shariah and ilmu gayr al-shari’ah, which aligns with Ibn Khaldun’s division of ilmu naql (transmitted knowledge) and ilmu aqal (intellectual knowledge). This division is based on the object of study, not meant to be contradictory.

This study analyzes the application of sentence enhancement to perpetrators of fraud in the recruitment of civil servants (ASN) and examines the consistency of judicial reasoning in Decision No. 1175/Pid.B/2024/PN Mks. The research focuses on two main issues: the fulfillment of the requirements for sentence enhancement under Articles 52 and 486–488 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP), and the alignment of the judge’s considerations with the principles of criminal sentencing. Using a normative juridical method and employing statutory, case, and conceptual approaches, this research finds that the application of Article 378 KUHP was appropriate, as the elements of deception were proven. However, sentence enhancement under Articles 52 and 486–488 KUHP was not applied due to the absence of a functional connection between the perpetrator’s status as an ASN and the offense, as well as the failure to meet the formal requirements of recidivism. Although the decision is legally defensible in a formal sense, it lacks substantive completeness in addressing moral and sociological considerations. The perpetrator’s ASN status and prior conviction should reasonably serve as aggravating factors. The study concludes that while the decision is normatively consistent, it falls short of achieving substantive justice, particularly regarding public protection and the integrity of the civil service.

Abortion is prohibited under the Indonesian criminal law system. In fact, it is categorized as a crime against life, regulated by several laws and regulations, including the Criminal Code and the Health Law. Indonesian criminal law defines abortion as "Termination of Pregnancy," which is regulated by Articles 299, 346, 347, 348, and 349 of the Criminal Code. These articles clearly and unequivocally prohibit abortion for any reason, including abortion for emergency (forced) reasons, such as rape. This type of research is normative legal research (normative legal research method). The normative legal research method is a library legal research conducted by examining legal literature materials such as Legislation, Judge's Decisions, Books, Journals, Theses and Legal Dictionaries. The results of the study indicate that (1) The Judge imposed a sentence of 2 (two) years. This seems light and unfair because the defendant's actions should have been given a heavier sentence as stated in the case that the defendant had committed his crimes seven times. (2) The judge's considerations in imposing criminal sanctions in Decision Number 1224/Pid.Sus/PN.Mks, concluded that the judge's decision to sentence the defendant to two years in prison was lenient and did not reflect the sense of justice that should have been upheld. This was because the defendant's actions were classified as a serious crime that had a widespread moral and social impact on society.

This study examines the legal protection provided to holders of Building Use Rights (HGB) on land under Management Rights (HPL) as interpreted in Supreme Court Decision No. 2160 K/Pdt/2017. The research aims to understand how civil law is applied to ensure legal certainty for HGB holders on HPL land and to strengthen insight into civil law principles used in resolving land-rights disputes. In the juridical context, land refers to the earth’s surface, while land rights are defined as authority over a specific, limited portion of that surface. Legal certainty, based on written regulations implementing the Basic Agrarian Law No. 5 of 1960, provides clarity regarding the rights and obligations of parties who own or control land. The study was conducted at the Sragen Police Resort using documentation methods—reviewing legal texts, literature, and supporting materials—along with field data obtained through interviews with relevant officers and individuals familiar with the case. The findings show that the Judex Facti of the West Java High Court made an error by declaring that no new issues required examination without giving adequate legal reasoning. The court also failed to address the objections submitted by the appellant, violating Article 50 paragraph (1) of Law No. 48 of 2009 on Judicial Power. Consequently, the Supreme Court annulled the previous decision, clarifying the legal consequences and strengthening the interpretation of HGB status on HPL land.

This study examines the legal issues of single candidates in the 2024 Samarinda City Regional Elections, focusing on the reasons political parties support single candidates and their impact on the quality of democracy and public participation. The phenomenon of single candidates is viewed as a democratic anomaly because it weakens the essence of political competition. The study uses a non-doctrinal method with primary materials in the form of interviews and legislation, as well as secondary materials from articles and scientific literature. The research results indicate three main factors driving political parties' support for a sole candidate: (1) the high electability of the incumbent, which creates psychological effects and political pragmatism; (2) the nomination threshold provisions that limit the number of potential candidates; and (3) the alignment of party vision and mission with the candidate, making political coalitions easier to form. The implications of this phenomenon affect two aspects. First, the substance of democracy is reduced because the people's choices become limited. Second, public participation may decrease due to the lack of competition, which results in low voter enthusiasm. This study emphasizes the need for more inclusive regulations to ensure healthy local election competition and to support the strengthening of legal and political systems to ensure that the nomination process reflects fairness and the people's aspirations broadly.

The birth facilities and birth attendants are directly linked to maternal mortality. It has been demonstrated that births attended by healthcare professionals help lower the risk of maternal mortality. Traditional birth attendants and non-health personnel have a very restricted understanding of physiology and pathology, which leads to issues with delivery help, which are the primary reasons for high rates of maternal and perinatal mortality and morbidity. The significance of family support for selecting a birth attendant. At the Benao Community Health Center, this research sought to determine the link between husband support and the choice of birthplace among pregnant women in their third trimester. This study employed a descriptive analytical design with a cross-sectional methodology, which is a study to establish the existence of two relationships or a number of variables. In the meantime, the sampling method employed complete sampling, which resulted in a sample size of 30 individuals. In this study, a questionnaire was employed as the instrument. The data was then analyzed with SPSS using Chi Square analysis. After using the chi-square statistical test, a P-value (asymp. Sig 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 was found, indicating a correlation between the location of delivery chosen by pregnant women in their third trimester and the support of their spouses. As a result, since H0 was disproved and H1 was proven, it may be inferred that there is a link between a pregnant woman's choice of delivery location in her third trimester and the support she receives from her spouse.

This study explores how Islamic epistemology can address the fragmentation and ethical challenges in contemporary Muslim societies. By emphasizing the integration of divine revelation and human reason, Islamic epistemology offers a balanced framework for intellectual and spiritual development. The core principles of mīzān (balance), maqāṣid al-sharīʿah (higher objectives of Islamic law), and tawhid (divine unity) form the foundation of Islamic ethical thought, guiding individuals and communities toward social harmony and moral responsibility. The study highlights how these principles can be applied to modern issues such as social justice, environmental sustainability, and the erosion of communal values. Through a comparative analysis, the research contrasts Islamic epistemology with Western ethical frameworks that prioritize individual autonomy, showing how Islamic approaches promote communal accountability and social cohesion. Empirical research, including surveys and interviews, reveals that Muslim communities view Islamic epistemology as a valuable tool for addressing contemporary ethical dilemmas and fostering unity. By revisiting classical Islamic scholars like Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, and Al-Ghazali, the study provides a theoretical foundation for applying Islamic knowledge to modern day challenges. Additionally, the research examines how the principles of moral agency and personal responsibility in Islamic thought offer solutions to the weakening of ethical conduct in contemporary societies. The study concludes by recommending further research into the practical implementation of Islamic epistemological concepts in governance, education, and social structures to promote ethical and social reform. Integrating Islamic wisdom with modern ethical challenges can offer significant contributions to fostering a more harmonious, just, and ethically responsible global society.

Café retrorika is one of the cafes located in Batu City, Malang, which adopts a green marketing concept with a unique aesthetic touch, combining the concepts of “Retro” and “Eco-friendly”, where almost all of the café’s furniture and decorations are made from recycled materials, such as old windows, used motorcycle tanks, gas cylinders and rims, which are transformed into high-art decorative elements. Awareness of the importance of sustainable business is growing, including in the culinary sector. Cafes and restaurants now compete not only in terms of taste and service but also in their commitment to environmentally friendly concepts. Moreover, today’s consumers are increasingly selective in choosing places to eat that support local products, use environmentally friendly materials, and strive to reduce plastic waste. This is one of the reasons for building cafes with different concepts, as done by the owner and founder of Retrorika café. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection techniques include participant observation, interviews and documentation. The result show that Retrorika café was built based on the personal idealism of its owner as a green movement activist, rather than market calculations. The café’s “Retro” identity serves as physical evidence of sustainability practice through the use of used furniture while also creating a nostalgic experience. Its marketing strategy focuses on education through the Re-dukaci program, Retrorika goes to Halokes and Sa-Si-Su as an effort to prove the authenticity of green practices and mitigate greenwashing. These results can be concluded that the founder’s passion shapes the Green Corporate Identity and becomes a source of sustainable competitive advantage that is difficult to imitate.

This study aims to explain and reconstruct the notion of auditor professionalism beyond the reasoning framework found in the accountants’ code of ethics. The reconstruction is carried out by redefining auditor professionalism through the integration of moral reasoning and the values derived from QS. Al-Isra (36), as a response to the issue of fraud disclosure. The research adopts a non-technical perspective on auditor professionalism. Accordingly, the appropriate method for this study is Theoretical Triangulation, namely testing auditor professionalism from the perspective of moral reasoning and QS. Al-Isra (36). Specifically, the research begins by utilizing three sources of values: the Handbook of the Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants, principles of moral reasoning, and the guidance in QS. Al-Isra (36). Second, the study identifies the limitations of conventional interpretations of auditor professionalism when examined solely from ethical codes, and further analyzes how moral reasoning and QS. Al-Isra (36) enrich this perspective. Third, the concept of auditor professionalism is reconstructed in a holistic manner. Finally, the study concludes whether moral reasoning and QS. Al-Isra (36) are interrelated with the auditors’ professionalism in uncovering fraud. Ultimately, this article proposes a revised conception of auditor professionalism. By incorporating moral reasoning and QS. Al-Isra (36), auditor professionalism is envisioned as transcending rationalism and materialism. It is defined as a commitment to uphold the accountants’ code of ethics, grounded in justice and virtue, with an awareness that every action will be held accountable in the hereafter.

The position of judges in the process of proving civil cases occupies a fundamental role in upholding justice and legal certainty within the Indonesian judicial system. This study aims to examine the judge’s position, duties, and authority in the evidentiary process of civil cases through a literature review focusing on doctrines and jurisprudence. Using a normative juridical method with a library research approach, this paper analyzes legal theories, statutory provisions, and judicial precedents that regulate evidentiary procedures in civil law. The findings show that a judge is not merely a passive law enforcer but an active truth-seeker who must interpret and assess evidence based on principles of fairness, propriety, and moral values. The judge’s discretion in evaluating evidence reflects the responsibility to harmonize formal legal norms with the pursuit of substantive justice. Jurisprudence demonstrates that judges play an essential role in shaping evidentiary standards and ensuring that court decisions reflect the ideals of justice and legal certainty. The study concludes that the authority and independence of judges are crucial in realizing a fair trial, as they ensure that decisions are based on verified facts, logical reasoning, and moral responsibility. Strengthening the professionalism and integrity of judges is necessary to guarantee that the evidentiary process in civil proceedings fulfills the principles of equality before the law and promotes justice in society.

This study aims to analyze the effect of burnout and turnover intention on employee performance in banks. Declining performance and high work pressure in the micro banking sector are important reasons for conducting this study. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 42 respondents from the credit, marketing, and teller divisions. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires using a 1–5 point Likert scale, which were then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method through the SmartPLS 4 application. The results show that both burnout and turnover intention negatively affect employee performance. This means that as employees experience higher levels of emotional exhaustion and a stronger intention to leave their job, their performance declines. The study highlights the importance of addressing these psychological factors to enhance employee performance. The findings imply that company management should focus on improving the psychological well-being of employees to ensure the stability of organizational performance, reduce turnover, and maintain a productive workforce.

Minors today are increasingly involved in criminal acts, and this does not happen without reason. One contributing factor is the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Children in Ujoh Bilang Village have started consuming alcohol, influenced by several factors, despite being underage. They consume both branded alcoholic drinks and traditional beverages such as arak. Based on research conducted in Ujoh Bilang Village, Mahakam Ulu, several factors have been identified as reasons why minors consume alcohol. These include internal factors within the child, external factors such as family influence, environment, alcohol vendors, and cultural factors. These elements serve as the background for underage alcohol consumption in the village. According to the research findings, minors who consume alcohol are not subjected to criminal punishment but are instead given warnings or educational guidance and then returned to their parents. However, minors can be held criminally responsible under the juvenile criminal justice system if they are unable to control themselves due to intoxication, leading to criminal acts such as accidents, fights, or even murder. In such cases, minors may be prosecuted for their actions.
