This study analyzes pragmatic phenomena in digital communication, particularly those related to speech acts and their impact on public perception in the controversial case of an ice cube seller accused without clear basis by the authorities. This study applies a qualitative approach with a pragmatic analysis method based on discourse analysis. Data sources were obtained from online media news, social media posts, and official statements circulating in the digital public space. The analysis techniques used include identifying types of speech acts, interpreting implied meanings based on context, and analyzing public responses. The results show that statements from the authorities contain implications that trigger negative views even though they are not supported by strong evidence. This results in perlocutionary effects in the form of social stigma, reputational damage, and psychological stress for the victim. Conversely, the victim's communication strategies, which include being polite, defensive, and informative, can build a positive image and attract public sympathy. Furthermore, social media plays a crucial role in accelerating the spread of meaning and strengthening the construction of opinions through mass support and criticism. This research makes a significant contribution to enriching the study of pragmatics in the context of digital communication and emphasizes the importance of language ethics, media literacy, and pragmatic awareness in creating responsible public communication.

This research aims to analyze the level of fiscal independence of Pacitan Regency by examining and linking it to its dependence on transfer funds from the central government. This study explores potential sectors that could be managed more optimally to contribute to Local Original Revenue (PAD). The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative approach, utilizing secondary data, namely the Regional Budget (APBD) and Budget Realization Reports (LRA) sourced from the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJKP). In addition to these sources, this research also employs a literature review of relevant journals. The analysis uses the regional financial independence ratio. The results of the analysis show that Pacitan Regency has a very high level of fiscal dependence, ranging between 85% and 89% from 2021 to 2025, although there is a gradual decline. The factors causing this condition are the low contribution of PAD, particularly from the tourism sector, as well as geographical factors such as mountainous terrain with underdeveloped infrastructure. This condition may lead to the flypaper effect and limit regional flexibility in development. This research recommends optimizing PAD from the tourism sector, improving regional financial governance, fostering collaboration with the private sector and the community, diversifying revenue sources, and gradually reducing dependence on transfer funds in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 33 of 2004.

This research aims to describe the forms and functions of representative speech acts found in the YouTube video “The Basic Concept of Understanding Humans” by Cania Citta. The study arises from the phenomenon of digital communication, which demonstrates a shift in speech patterns from merely delivering information to constructing intellectual discourse that is both reflective and argumentative. A descriptive qualitative method with a pragmatic approach was employed. The data, consisting of representative utterances, were collected through observation and note-taking techniques on video transcripts, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the dominant representative speech acts include stating, explaining, reporting, concluding, and speculating. Each utterance functions not only to convey information but also to build rational argumentation and foster critical awareness among audiences regarding the concept of humanity. Illocutionarily, these utterances perform informative, argumentative, and reflective functions, emphasizing the speaker’s epistemic responsibility toward the truth of the propositions delivered. The perlocutionary effects include an increased interest and heightened critical awareness among audiences concerning philosophical issues about human nature. This study contributes to the development of pragmatic studies, particularly in understanding the role of language as an instrument of knowledge and persuasion in digital media.

The development of digital media has transformed Islamic da’wah into a digitally mediated form of religious communication, reshaping structures of authority, engagement, and community formation. However, existing research remains fragmented and lacks a comprehensive structural map. This study conducted a Systematic Literature Network Analysis (SLNA) of Scopus-indexed publications on Islamic da’wah via digital platforms from 2016 to 2026. Using PRISMA-based screening techniques and bibliometric methods—including co-authorship, co-citation, and co-occurrence analyses with VOSviewer—the study analyzed 74 peer-reviewed journal articles. The results indicate a significant increase in the number of publications, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic. The field is structured around four main themes: platform-based engagement strategies, youth identity formation, digital authority and ethics, and the adaptation of prophetic communication principles to the online context. Although Indonesia and Malaysia dominate the research output, the collaborative network remains relatively dispersed. New topics such as the influence of algorithms and AI-supported da‘wah suggest an expansion toward interdisciplinary directions. This study provides the first comprehensive map based on Scopus for research on Islamic digital da‘wah and offers a foundation for future theoretical and empirical development.

Digital transformation in healthcare services is a strategic approach to improve access, efficiency, and service quality, particularly within Indonesia’s National Health Insurance (JKN) system. BPJS Kesehatan has introduced an online queue feature through the Mobile JKN application to minimize manual queuing and reduce waiting times in outpatient services. However, despite the widespread ownership of the application, its actual utilization for online queuing remains relatively low, including in a regional public hospital (RSUD) in West Bandung. This condition reflects a gap between the availability of digital health technology and patients’ actual usage behavior, highlighting the need to examine factors influencing adoption. This study aims to analyze the effects of perceived ease of use, social influence, and facilitating conditions on the actual use of the Mobile JKN online queue, with behavioral intention as an intervening variable among outpatients. A quantitative cross-sectional design was applied, involving 255 JKN outpatient participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS version 24, based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Data analysis included descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, normality assessment, goodness-of-fit evaluation, Three Box Method, and hypothesis testing.

Entamoeba histolytica is an intestinal protozoan that can cause diarrhea through fecal–oral transmission due to the consumption of food or water contaminated with parasitic cysts. Based on data from the Badan Pusat Statistik in 2017–2019, Simpang Keramat District, particularly Paya Leupah Village, still had limited access to clean water and low ownership of permanent sanitary latrines, which may increase the risk of environmental contamination. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of dug wells and the risk factors associated with Entamoeba histolytica contamination in community well water. An observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design was conducted on 50 dug wells selected using purposive sampling. Data were obtained through field observations and laboratory examinations of well water samples. The results showed that most wells had distances to septic tanks that did not meet health standards (58%) and inadequate well floor conditions (82%), while the majority of wells had depths that fulfilled the recommended standard (76%). All well water samples tested negative for Entamoeba histolytica cysts; therefore, the association between risk factors and contamination could not be determined.

Drug abuse among adolescents has been increasing, including among youth in Papua. According to data from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Papua Province, there was a 1.73% increase in 2023. One of the contributing factors to adolescent involvement in drug abuse is low self-control. This study aimed to provide self-control training to help prevent drug abuse among adolescents independently. The program involved 37 vocational high school students in Jayapura City and employed a one-group pretest–posttest experimental design without a control group. The intervention consisted of self-control training delivered through lectures, discussions, and a structured learning module. The results indicated a significant improvement in self-control before and after the intervention, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) using a paired sample t-test, with an increase in the mean pre-test score (M = 46; SD = 7) to the mean post-test score (M = 48; SD = 6). These findings suggest that students of SMK Negeri 9 Jayapura experienced an improvement in self-control after participating in the training. Practically, this study demonstrates that self-control training can serve as an effective psychological intervention to address drug abuse and harmful substance use among adolescents. This intervention not only helps reduce addictive behaviors but also has the potential to enhance students’ quality of life and academic achievement.

Nursing documentation is an essential part of healthcare services, playing a key role in communication, care continuity, and serving as legal evidence. The introduction of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) aims to improve the efficiency of documentation processes. However, high workloads in critical areas such as the Emergency Department (IGD) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) may influence nurse compliance with documentation protocols. This study investigates the relationship between workload and nursing documentation compliance during the implementation of SIMRS at RSUD Haji Makassar's IGD and ICU. A quantitative cross-sectional design was used, with 30 nurses participating (total sampling). The workload was assessed using the NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX), while compliance was evaluated through a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Chi-Square and Fisher’s Exact Test. The results showed that the majority of respondents experienced heavy workloads (83.3%), and most had compliant documentation (96.7%). However, the statistical analysis yielded a p-value of 1.000, indicating no significant relationship between workload and documentation compliance. Based on these findings, the study recommends optimizing SIMRS usage and providing ongoing training to ensure improved compliance with nursing documentation practices.
