The toddler period is also known as the "golden age," which falls within a crucial phase of child growth and development. However, during this period, toddlers constitute a nutritionally vulnerable group. Failure to navigate this period effectively may cause children to miss their opportunity for a golden phase of growth and development. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and parenting styles with the nutritional status of infants aged 0-12 months. Method: The research design employed is an Analytical Survey with a Cross-Sectional Study approach. All mothers with infants or toddlers visiting the Batusura’ Health Center between March and June 2023 were included. A purposive sampling technique was utilized, resulting in 64 respondents. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire sheets. The collected data were subsequently processed and analyzed using SPSS Statistics version 25 and subjected to Chi-Square tests. The findings of this study reveal a relationship between maternal knowledge and infant nutritional status, with a p-value of ρ = 0.004. Furthermore, a connection between maternal parenting styles and infant nutritional status was observed, with a p-value of ρ = 0.008. Conclusion: A significant relationship exists between maternal knowledge and parenting styles with nutritional status.

Immunization serves as the most effective and cost-efficient primary preventive measure against infectious diseases. It not only shields individuals from severe ailments but also averts the spread of communicable illnesses. Drawing from data collection, Olung Hanangan Village ranks among the communities with the lowest coverage of fundamental immunization. The insufficiency in basic immunization may arise due to factors like inadequate education and parental adherence to immunization schedules. The level of education shapes the pattern of shifts in parents' health-related behavior, ultimately emerging as a determinant of adherence to scheduled immunizations. Objective: This study aims to examine the correlation between parental (mothers') education levels and adherence to basic immunization for infants aged 0-9 months in Olung Hanangan Village. Method: Employing a quantitative research approach with a correlational research type and a cross-sectional design, this study involves a total of 32 respondents. Data collection employs a questionnaire as the measuring tool, followed by data analysis utilizing the Chi-Square statistical test. Results: The obtained significant value (p-value) is less than the α value, with a significance level set at α = 0.05. The Chi-Square statistical test yields a significant value of Asmp. Sig. (2-tailed) at 0.000. This finding confirms a relationship between parental (mothers') education levels and adherence to basic immunization for infants aged 0-9 months in Olung Hanangan Village. Conclusion: The study's findings underscore a significant link between parental (mothers') education levels and adherence to basic immunization for infants aged 0-9 months in Olung Hanangan Village. Consequently, the active involvement of healthcare personnel remains imperative in the ongoing provision of immunization information to the community.

Early breastfeeding (ASI) in the first days of birth provides many benefits where there is colostrum which is proven to be very rich in antibodies which can increase the baby's immunity. Prelacteal food is given to babies in the first days after birth on the grounds that breast milk (ASI) has not been released so that the first days after birth are a vulnerable period for babies to receive prelacteal food/drinks. Prelacteal foods are dangerous because they can replace colostrum as the baby's earliest food. The impact of prelacteal feeding is that babies may get diarrhea, septicemia (bacterial infection in the blood), and meningitis, babies are more likely to suffer from intolerance to the protein in the formula, and develop allergies such as eczema. Method: this activity begins with the preparation of proposals and administration activities in May 2023. The implementation of this activity is educating mothers about prelacteal feeding to babies aged 0-6 months. Results: 30 participants in this activity were mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months in the village of Bangun Rejo. In its implementation, it was explained about the types of prelacteal feeding, the impact of prelacteal feeding, factors that can influence mothers to give prelacteal feeding. Conclusion: community service activities based on health education are carried out. This community service activity was carried out for 3 months starting in May-July 2023. The results of this community service regarding prelacteal feeding in infants aged 0-6 months.

Newborns can experience hypothermia shortly after birth, hypothermia occurs through several mechanisms, namely related to the body's ability to balance between heat production and heat loss. Failures caused by a decrease in the baby's body temperature drop by about 0.30C per minute. There are several ways to avoid hypothermia, including using skin wrap. Skin wrap is a plastic bag to reduce heat loss due to evaporation so that it is easy to increase the baby's temperature. The method of using skin wrap can be used to prevent hypothermia in neonates, both premature and non-premature. Hypothermia in infants can worsen the condition of babies who lose heat after birth. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of skin wrap in regulating body temperature in newborns in the Peristi Room of Awal Bros Hospital Batam. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest and posttest design with a sample of 20 respondents. The sampling method used purposive sampling technique, the instrument used was the SOP for the use of skin wrap and observation sheets. Based on the Shapiro-Wilk statistical test analysis, a p-value of 0.000 was obtained with results > 0.05, which means that there is an effective use of skin wrap in increasing body temperature in newborns.

This paper aims to describe the safety of babies in the Perspective of John Calvin and the Implications for Toraja Church members. The diversity of views on the direction of infant safety in the understanding of Church members has encouraged the author to study infant safety in the view of Jhon Calvin because the Toraja Church is a Calvinist sect. There are those who think that a baby who is born and then dies is still safe even though he has not acknowledged God as his savior. It is like a white paper without blemishes. Another understanding says that all babies who are born and then die He is a sinful human because from the womb he has been conceived and begotten in sin, and regarding salvation it is in God's Sovereignty. The research method used in this paper is literature review. The author seeks and collects the writings of John Calvin, especially on death and salvation, then compiles them. According to John Calvin, salvation is a belief based on faith in Christ. In John Calvin's view, the safety of babies is in God's Sovereignty

Physiological newborns are babies born with a gestational age of more than or equal to 37 weeks with a body weight of 2500 grams to 4000 grams. During the birth period, many physical and psychological changes begin to occur in the baby's body, therefore it requires careful supervision to determine how to adjust to life outside the womb. The purpose of this study was to apply midwifery physiology care to By "Z" at the Panincong Health Center. The care provided uses the Varney 7 Step Midwifery Care Management approach and forms of documentation through SOAP. The case study conducted on By “Z” revealed that there were no obstacles when implementing Varney's 7 Step Midwifery Care Management approach. Thus, it is easy for caregivers to solve problems related to this. The form of midwifery care provided to By "Z" includes taking anamnesis on the baby's parents, carrying out physical examinations, and providing counseling to the parents, in this case to By "Z"'s mother about how to carry out effective care when caring for babies. This case study uses a descriptive observational method with a Continuity of care approach. The subject is By “Z” newborn. How to collect data anamnesis, observation, examination and documentation. Next, compare the data obtained with the existing theory

The risk factors of developing neonatal sepsis could be caused by maternal and neonatal risk factors.

Regurgitation or often called spitting up is the passage of refluxed gastric contents into the pharynx or mouth, sometimes with expulsion from the mouth. Complications that occur when excessive spitting up causes Gastroesophageal Reflux, which is backflow from the stomach to the esophagus which causes damage to the esophageal wall. In Indonesia, the incidence of spitting up in infants aged 2 months is higher than other countries. 25% of babies spit up >4 times during the first month, 50% spit up 1-4 times a day until 3 months of age. 30% of mothers also experience anxiety about spitting up, where anxiety is related to spitting up frequency of 66% and spitting up volume of 9%. As well as symptoms that accompany spitting up such as crying and fussing. (IDAI, 2016). This type of research is experimental (experimental research) with a one shot case study/post test only design approach. The population in this study were all infants aged 0-6 months. The sampling technique in this study was carried out using a non-probability sampling technique, namely the type of purposive sampling technique, with a total sample of 16 people. The instrument used is the observation sheet. The univariate analysis aims to explain or describe the distribution of spitting up frequencies in infants before and after massage. For numerical data, the mean or average value is used, and for categorical data, the chi-square is used. This study uses the Shapiro Wilk normality test to determine whether the data is normally distributed or not. Then a paired sample T-test was performed. The average value of spitting up before baby massage is 0.500 with a standard deviation of 0.516. The average value of spitting up after baby massage is done with an average value of 0.686 with a standard deviation of 0.479. The results of the statistical test using the Paired T-Test obtained a p value of 0.003, which means that Ho was rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the frequency of spitting up before and after baby massage. There are differences in spitting up disorders in babies who are massaged and not massaged. Where the average baby who was massaged did not spit up while the baby who was not massaged had spit up.

One of the benefits of the semiotic approach is being able to examine in more detail the communication conveyed by works of art. In the current digital era, works of art can take the form of photography, videography, and so on, where these works of art can provide meaning or representation of a communication message. One of the works of art in the form of videography is video clips. One example of a video clip is a song entitled "Perfect My Day" sung by Rey Mbayang, which used to be trending 1 on YouTube in the music category. The background of this video is Dinda Hauw's documentary film when she is going through the process leading up to childbirth, this makes the writer interested in analyzing Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotics because the writer also has personal experience in dealing with the birth process. In this research, the researcher uses Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic analysis method and examines the signs that refer to the video clip for the song "Sempurnaka Hariku" sung by Rey Mbayang. These signs are data such as images and other visual elements, as well as other supporting data, which will be studied and interpreted in the form of words and language. The results of the research on the video clip for the song "Perfect my day" sung by Rey Mbayang has signifiers and signifieds. It can be analyzed that the overall meaning of the various signs in the semiotic analysis is an explanation that the video clip tells about the struggles of the process of giving birth to Rey Mbayang and Dinda Hauw's first child from the beginning of the process full of anxiety, resignation, and pain until after birth it changes with a feeling of emotion, relieved and happy also grateful to have been given the mandate and gift in the form of a son from Allah SWT. The sign is that in the process of struggling to give birth, there is the role of the husband and family which are very important to support the success of the process.
