English, a crucial global language, is essential in education and communication. In Indonesia, mastering English is vital, with the 2013 curriculum emphasizing the four skills: speaking, writing, listening, and reading. Reading comprehension, which integrates written content with prior knowledge, is particularly important. Various internal and external factors, such as word recognition, parental support, and educational media, impact students' reading comprehension. Digital media like Webtoon offer advantages such as accessibility and interactivity, making them valuable educational tools. This study examined how well the Webtoon platform taught reading comprehension to second-semester students at Bhinneka PGRI University's English Education Department in the academic year 2023–2024. Twenty-two individuals were chosen at random from the student body to make up the sample. This study employed a quantitative research approach with a pre-experimental design that included a one-group pretest, treatment, and post-test to determine the impact of Webtoon on reading comprehension skills. Using this strategy, the effectiveness of the intervention may be evaluated by contrasting pre- and post-test results. Students' reading comprehension scores increased dramatically after using Webtoon; on average, their scores went from 69.00 to 81.81. The data distribution was validated by normality tests, and a significant difference was found using a paired t-test (t(15) = -12.854, p < 0.001). These results showed how Webtoon improves reading comprehension and makes a good contribution to education by demonstrating creative uses of digital media in the classroom.Using this strategy, the effectiveness of the intervention may be evaluated by comparing pre- and post-test results.

The purpose of this study is to determine how IFRS 22 and IFRS 3 differ from each other with respect to business combinations as they relate to the compilation of consolidated financial statements for Indonesian companies. Because this strategy gives researchers an idea of how the topic of debate has evolved, a qualitative method that uses a review literature approach is the type of method used. Secondary data that has been examined to generate a description of the research topic is the source of the data used. The study shows that IFRS 22 and IFRS 3 differ in several areas, including the presentation of long-term liabilities that must be refinanced, minority interest rate requirements, disclosures in financial position statements, and financial statement components. Consolidated financial statements based on IFRS number 3 and PSAK number 22 must be prepared for the combination of companies. Guidelines for reporting consolidated financial statements for companies with subsidiaries are listed in PSAK number 22. Guidance on the accounting treatment of corporate purchases is provided by IFRS 3. The components of the financial statements, the disclosures in the statement of financial position, the term minority interest, extraordinary headings, and the reporting of long-term liabilities to be refinanced are where PSAK 22 and IFRS 3 differ. It is important for all businesses to have a comprehensive understanding of the relevant guidelines and regulations to guarantee the accuracy and compliance of consolidated financial statements with such accounting standards. It is important to speak with a qualified financial advisor or professional accountant if further details or a more thorough explanation are needed.

Cats (Felis catus) are a type of carnivorous mammal from the Felidae family that was domesticated and has been one of the animals that has mingled with humans since time immemorial. Domestic cats are broadly divided into 2 types, namely village cats and purebred cats. Purebred cats have quite a varied number of types. Therefore, confusion often occurs in determining the type or breed of cat. Meanwhile, in practice, each race does not have the same treatment (especially in the aspect of care). In digital image processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning are the main aspects in the process of applying technology that can overcome this problem, so research related to this problem was designed. This research was conducted to add insight for further research in a more sophisticated and effective image recognition process. In the experiments carried out in this research, the SVM, KNN, and CNN methods were tested with the Xception and EfficientNet-B1 architectures. Based on the final results obtained from this test, the CNN method with the Xception architecture is the best model. By using fine-tuning and a learning-rate of 1e-5, this method produces a micro average value of 0.974, on a cat breed image dataset of 13 classes and 7800 images. Meanwhile, the method that produces the fastest ETA Training and Testing is obtained by the KNN method, with an ETA Training time of 0.194 seconds, and an ETA Testing time of 1.782 seconds.

The tofu industry in Indonesia generally utilizes simple processing technologies, leading to unresolved wastewater management issues. Tofu wastewater contains high organic matter, measured by BOD, a parameter indicating the oxygen required by microorganisms to decompose organic matter. High BOD can decrease dissolved oxygen (DO) levels in water, which is crucial for aquatic life. This study investigates the effectiveness of local probiotics in reducing BOD and increasing DO in tofu wastewater (ABIT). Three treatments were applied: pure ABIT, neutralized ABIT (ABIT-N), and ABIT mixed with local probiotics in three ratios (1:1, 1:2, and 1:3). DO was tested at 0, 8, 16, 24, and 36 hours, while BOD was tested at 0 and 5 days. The results demonstrate that local probiotics can effectively reduce BOD and enhance DO levels in ABIT. The highest DO (3.36 mg/L) was observed in ABIT-N mixed with local probiotics at a 1:3 ratio after 32 hours. The most significant BOD reduction (135.77 mg/L) was also achieved at the 1:3 ratio. These findings suggest that local probiotics offer an eco-friendly approach to treating tofu wastewater.

Sufism is a branch of Islam that emphasizes spiritual pursuit and self-purification to achieve closeness to God. In the Sufism perspective, mental illness is not only seen as a medical condition but also as a spiritual crisis. Mental illness is often thought to be the result of an imbalance in a person's relationship with God and their environment. Sufis believe that true mental health can only be achieved through cleansing the heart and soul of negative traits such as envy, hatred and greed. This process involves dhikr (remembrance of God), meditation and other spiritual practices aimed at strengthening the relationship with God and improving morals. Sufism also emphasizes the importance of living a simple and loving life and avoiding materialistic temptations that can lead a person away from the spiritual path. Thus the treatment of mental illness in Sufism does not only focus on the psychological aspect but also includes the spiritual dimension, which is considered essential for achieving balance and inner peace. This view emphasizes that true healing requires a holistic approach that integrates psychological therapy with spiritual practices, so that a person can again find the meaning of life and closeness to God, which ultimately brings peace and mental well-being.
