Through a systematic review and meta-analysis, this research investigates the relationship between spirituality and psychological resilience in the Afghan population. Of the 1,247 identified studies, 47 (N=12,468) met the inclusion criteria. The results of the random-effects model analysis confirm a strong positive correlation between spirituality and psychological resilience (r = 0.64, 95% CI [0.58, 0.70], p < .001). Furthermore, there is significant heterogeneity among studies (I² = 76.3%, Q = 182.45, p < .001). Additionally, moderator analysis reveals that the effect of spirituality on resilience is significantly stronger in Afghan groups experiencing war trauma (β = 0.72) compared to non-traumatized groups (β = 0.51). Meta-regression results indicate that daily spiritual practice accounts for 43.2% of the total variance in psychological resilience among the Afghan community. In comparison to the findings of Salsman et al. (2015) and Schwalm et al. (2022), which reported a moderate correlation between the two variables (r = 0.45-0.52), this study has reinforced the presence of a stronger effect of spirituality on resilience in the context of prolonged conflict, presenting a novel contribution. Lastly, the mediation analysis indicates that the sense of meaning in life mediates the spirituality-resilience relationship in Afghanistan by 67.8% (95% CI [61.2, 74.5]). This research expands upon the findings of Meichenbaum (2008) by identifying specific mechanisms that explain the protective role of spirituality in the context of collective trauma in Afghanistan. Thus, these findings can universally serve as an empirical foundation for developing spirituality-based interventions for trauma recovery in communities affected by prolonged conflict.

The study used an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. Respondents in the study were some nurses at Mardi Waluyo Hospital, Blitar City who had a patient safety competency certificate totaling 159 respondents. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The results of the regression analysis obtained a significant effect on patient safety competency on patient safety activities and nurse performance assessment with ap value = 0.01. The variable that has a dominant influence is safety competency with a standardized coefficient of 0.327 compared to safety activities in patients with a standardized coefficient of 0.312. The conclusion in this study is that there is an effect of patient safety competency on patient safety activities and nurse performance assessment. The results of the study are in line with previous research and theories which show that patient safety competency has a greater influence on nurse performance assessments directly compared to the presence of patient safety activities as a mediating variable, but it is possible that other factors play a role in the differences in the effects of influence between variables. Hospital policies, safety culture, and the level of awareness of the work team in implementing daily safety practices may play a role in the difference in influencing effects between variables. However, it is also possible that there are other factors such as the attitude and motivation to work of individuals who are considered not to meet the expectations of the leadership.

Pineapple is one of Indonesia's top three fruit commodities in terms of production volume. In 2022, Indonesia became the world's largest pineapple producer. Pineapple production in Indonesia has fluctuated but has generally shown an increasing and stable trend from 2013 to 2023, with expectations of continued growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of production, the wholesale price index, exchange rates, and export prices on Indonesia's pineapple export volume from 2013 to 2023. This research utilizes secondary time-series data on a quarterly basis, analyzed using multiple linear regression and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that production, the wholesale price index, exchange rates, and export prices simultaneously influence Indonesia's pineapple export volume. Partially, production and exchange rates have a positive but statistically insignificant effect on export volume, while the wholesale price index and export prices have a negative yet statistically significant impact. These findings highlight the importance of policies that can reduce production costs to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian pineapples in the international market. Through synergy between the government, exporters, and farmers, it is expected that Indonesia's pineapple exports will continue to grow sustainably.

Fiscal decentralization is a tool to achieve maximum public welfare and the provision of essential public services. The essence of fiscal decentralization is the provision of transfer funds to local governments. In addition, through transfer funds, it is hoped that there will be equity and fiscal balance vertically and horizontally. However, the existence of transfer funds caused a response that the central government responded to as the main fund for regional spending. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the flypaper effect on the balance fund and local revenue on education spending, health spending, and infrastructure spending. Using data from 2019-2023 in municipalities and cities on the island of Java and regression using a fixed effect model, it shows the occurrence of a flypaper effect on education and infrastructure spending through DAK. As a result, every increase in DAK will encourage an increase in education and infrastructure spending. Meanwhile, different results are shown in health spending, that every increase in DAU decreases health spending. Different tests were carried out using dummy variables in the year before and after the implementation of the latest policy. As a result, the regulation of the DAU Specific Grant was able to increase health spending, but not as much as the influence of PAD.

This study analyzes the psychological impact of the armed conflict in Yemen by comparing urban and rural populations through a systematic review and meta-analysis of 47 published studies (N=28,463) from 2015 to 2024. The analysis reveals a significantly higher prevalence of PTSD in the urban population (42.8%, 95% CI [39.2-46.4]) compared to the rural population (31.5%, 95% CI [28.1-34.9], p<.001). In addition, multilevel regression analysis indicates a strong correlation between the level of exposure to conflict and the severity of depressive symptoms (r=.68, p<.001) and anxiety (r=.72, p<.001) in both populations. Additionally, when examining specific urban risk factors, calculations indicate that population density (OR=1.86, 95% CI [1.54-2.18]) and loss of infrastructure (OR=1.73, 95% CI [1.45-2.01]) are significant. Moreover, geographic isolation (OR=1.92, 95% CI [1.67-2.17]) and limited access to mental health services (OR=2.14, 95% CI [1.89-2.39]) also demonstrate prominent risk factors, thereby emphasizing the predominance of specific urban risk factors in rural areas. These findings contrast with the research conducted by Le & Nguyen (2023) and Carpiniello (2023), which focused solely on general impacts; thus, the novelty of this research lies in its success in identifying distinct patterns of psychological trauma based on geographic characteristics. In addition, this study successfully reveals the differing mediating mechanisms of social support between urban (β=-.42, p<.001) and rural (β=-.28, p<.01) populations in mitigating the impacts of the Yemeni war trauma.

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the profitability of banking companies in Indonesia, using banking ratios as independent variables. The study identifies three main variables believed to significantly impact profitability, measured by Return on Assets (ROA). The banking sector in Indonesia has been through many changes over the years. The author intends to assess the factors influencing profitability using several banking ratios. Although all three variables of banking ratios does significantly influence the rate of ROA, two of them gave negative influence to the ROA. It suggests that profitability rate is something that tend to influenced by financial ratios either positive or negative. That profitabilities influenced by influenced by the financial activity itself. The study uses regression analysis to examine the relationship between these variables and profitability. These findings provide valuable insights for bank managers and regulators to understand the factors that should be considered in efforts to improve the financial performance of banks in Indonesia. In addition, the results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for policy decisions that support the stability and growth of the banking sector in the country

This study aims to assess how financial performance influences stock returns amid political uncertainty, specifically during the 2024 general election in Indonesia. The focus is on understanding the impact of various financial performance indicators on the stock returns of property and real estate firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A sample of 64 companies was observed during two critical periods: the pre-election period in the fourth quarter of 2023 and the post-election period in the second quarter of 2024. To analyze the data, the study employed an event study approach, utilizing multiple regression analysis to identify the relationship between financial performance and stock returns, and paired sample t-tests to compare pre- and post-election performance. The findings revealed that prior to the election, the variables Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Revenue Growth did not significantly affect the stock returns of property and real estate companies. However, after the election, only ROA was found to have a significant impact on stock returns, while DER and Revenue Growth continued to show no effect. A comparative analysis of the two periods indicated no significant differences in the financial performance variables (ROA, DER, and Revenue Growth) between the pre- and post-election periods, yet a clear shift in stock returns was observed. This study contributes to the literature by offering a fresh perspective on how political uncertainty affects stock returns, using the framework of signaling theory, trade-off theory, and market efficiency theory to interpret the results.
