This study aims to examine the role of teachers in improving students' potential, with a focus on aspects of learning and character development. The role of teachers is very important in supporting the development of various student potentials, both in terms of academics and character, both of which contribute to students' readiness to face future challenges. This study uses a qualitative literature method. Data were collected through document analysis related to learning programs and extracurricular activities. The results of the study indicate that teachers play a role in identifying and exploring students' potential through creative and adaptive learning methods. The conclusion in this study shows that developing students' character by instilling moral values, discipline, and responsibility has an impact through direct role models, effective communication, and positive interactions between teachers and students. This study suggests the need for ongoing training for teachers so that they can be more optimal in developing students' academic and character potential.

This study aims to examine the implementation of social competence of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers in disciplining students at UPTD SD Negeri 070988 Hilinakhe, Gunungsitoli City. The social competence of PAK teachers has an important role in creating harmonious relationships between teachers, students, and parents, which can support the creation of discipline in the school environment. This study uses a qualitative approach by exploring library sources to describe how PAK teachers apply social competence in disciplining students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with PAK teachers, direct observation in class, and analysis of documents related to discipline policies implemented in schools. The results of the study indicate that PAK teachers at UPTD SD Negeri 070988 Hilinakhe have implemented their social competence in an effective way, through good communication with students, providing moral and spiritual examples. The conclusion in this study shows that the implementation of consistent discipline strategies for the diversity of student backgrounds is greatly influenced by the social competence of teachers through good communication. In addition, there is closer cooperation between the school, students, and parents to strengthen the implementation of discipline in the school environment.

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical competence of Christian Religious Education teachers in implementing the demonstration method to students at SD Negeri 173182 Lobutolong, North Tapanuli Regency. The pedagogical competence in question includes the teacher's ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective learning, focusing on the demonstration method used to improve students' understanding and skills. This study is a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were Christian Religious Education teachers at SD Negeri 173182 Lobutolong, as well as several students who were directly involved in the learning process. The study results indicate that Christian Religious Education teachers at SD Negeri 173182 Lobutolong have good pedagogical competence in implementing the demonstration method. Teachers can use the demonstration method effectively to teach Christian religious concepts, such as compassion, forgiveness, and other moral values, by actively involving students in the learning process. Applying the demonstration method positively impacts the learning process and the formation of student character. Therefore, schools need to continue to increase support for the development of teacher competence and the provision of facilities that support the optimal implementation of this method.

There is a decline in student morality and the intention of student independence in carrying out worship. Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers are very important in directing moral understanding and producing independence in worship. This study explores PAK teachers’ roles in facing moral challenges in the digital era. With a qualitative paradigm and a literature review approach, this study describes the roles of PAK teachers in shaping morals and spirituality as a form of interactive and contextual learning. The study results show that PAK teachers’ role is significant in shaping moral awareness and independence of worship. The role of PAK teachers is key to building a generation with a solid moral foundation and can carry out worship according to Christian teachings.

This study concludes that strengthening PAK teachers to provide examples in developing noble morals has an impact on students in creating themselves as role models for others.

This study aims to analyze the role of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers' work ethic in character building of students at SMP Negeri 4 Tuhemberua, North Nias Regency. The work ethic possessed by a teacher not only affects the quality of learning, but also has a significant impact on the formation of students' character, in terms of discipline, responsibility, and integrity. PAK teachers have a strategic role in instilling moral and spiritual values ​​through role models and teachings applied in everyday life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method to describe the work ethic of PAK teachers that contributes to the formation of students' character. The results of the study indicate that the work ethic of PAK teachers, which includes exemplary behavior, discipline, and commitment to the profession, has an impact on the formation of students' character at SMP Negeri 4 Tuhemberua. Students who are equipped with the basic work ethic of teachers show an increase in attitudes of discipline, responsibility, and honesty. The conclusion in this study is that strengthening the capacity of PAK teachers in integrating work ethic in all aspects of learning is useful for supporting the formation of students' character.

Social media is one of the communication tools that has become an integral part of everyday life, especially for teenagers and the younger generation. This study focuses on the TikTok application. TikTok can affect children's moral character. Strong moral education is very important to protect children from the negative impacts of TikTok. This research method adopts a qualitative approach with a focus on in-depth interviews with students of SMA Negeri 10 Medan. The results of the study show that the use of TikTok among students at SMA Negeri 10 Medan has positive and negative impacts. The positive impacts include increased creativity, skills, and self-confidence, while the negative impacts include gadget addiction, the spread of age-inappropriate content, and academic disruption. Teachers' efforts to overcome these negative impacts involve education, supervision, and the use of TikTok for more positive purposes. Thus, it is important for students at SMA Negeri 10 Medan to use TikTok wisely and responsibly, and to understand the moral values ​​that are important in everyday life.

The research departs from the phenomenon of the development of Islamic boarding school education models with varying names and styles. Islamic boarding schools are faced with two important problems in adapting to the demands of the times, namely the problem of developing Islamic boarding school governance without abandoning tradition and the Islamic boarding school's identity in producing a generation with good morals. The research objectives are to identify the management of Sufistic curriculum development in Islamic boarding schools including; 1) Curriculum planning, 2) Curriculum organization, 3) Curriculum implementation, 4) Curriculum evaluation and 5) Impact of Islamic boarding school management in developing the Sufistic curriculum at Al-Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School and Al-Falah Biru Islamic Boarding School, Garut Regency. The research framework departs from George R. Terry's (1973) management theory, namely four management functions, namely: 1) Planning, 2) Organizing, 3) Actuating, 4) Controlling. The curriculum theory uses the Ralph W curriculum development model. Tyler curriculum development is carried out in systematic stages, namely; Objectives, Selecting Learning Experiences, Organizing Learning Experiences, Evaluation. Developing the Islamic boarding school curriculum has an impact on the morals of the students, as according to Sheikh Musthafa Al-Ghalayini, the implications of Sufistic moral values contribute to shaping behavior. This study uses a qualitative approach using the Ethnography method. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations and documentation analysis. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman analysis technique. While the validity test is carried out with data validity by conducting tests; credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of the study found that the management of the development of the Islamic boarding school curriculum in preparing a generation with Sufi morals: First, the Islamic boarding school curriculum is included in the traditionalist model of the school, namely by showing its traditional and school character. Second, the organization of the curriculum content consists of the contents of the curriculum, data, concepts, generalizations, and subject matter at the Islamic Boarding School. Third, Curriculum development is categorized as a grass roots model where there are initiatives and efforts coming from below, namely ustadz and Islamic boarding schools in developing a curriculum that is designed by themselves to produce a generation with Sufi morals. Fourth, Curriculum evaluation refers to the Objective Model Evaluation model (objective model) carried out at the end of curriculum development, this assessment activity is often called summative evaluation. Fifth, The impact of curriculum management on the level of morals is shown by the nature of istiqomah, self-control, prioritizing Islamic and basyariyah brotherhood, tolerance, honesty, sincerity, istiqomah, patience, gratitude, politeness and helping each other. This research aims to analyze the role of ustadz in religious development of the Muslim community in Dusun II, Tuntungan II Village, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency. The Ustadz has a central role in guiding the community in religious matters, both through teaching, guidance in worship, and strengthening morals and Islamic values. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. This research found two things; Firstly, in the social structure of the Tuntungan village community, the ustadz has an important position, not only as a spiritual leader who provides religious guidance, but also as the main pillar in maintaining social harmony and strengthening religious values ​​in society. Second, the Ustadz plays an important function in cultivating Islamic teachings in the practice of daily life, he acts as a catalyst for change in society, as well as penetrating various social problems faced by society. This article discusses the evaluation of the effectiveness of Aqidah Akhlak learning through a literature review that focuses on lecture and discussion methods. In learning Aqidah Akhlak, choosing the right method is the key to success in delivering material and shaping students' character. The lecture method is effective in conveying basic information in a systematic manner, while the discussion method emphasizes more on the active involvement of students and the development of critical thinking skills. This article examines various scientific literature to analyze the advantages, disadvantages, and relevance of these two methods in the learning of Aqidah Akhlak. The results of the study show that the use of both methods in an integrated manner can provide more optimal results, with lectures as an introduction and discussions as a deepening of the material. These findings provide a theoretical perspective for educators in designing effective learning strategies.

This paper aims to examine how the values of local customs and culture of South Tapanuli can be integrated in the character-building program of students in Madrasah. In the context of education, character is one of the important aspects that must be considered to form a generation that has good morality and a sense of love for the country. Along with the times, the process of preserving local culture is also increasingly threatened, so the integration of local culture in character education becomes very relevant. This paper uses a qualitative research method with a systematic literature review approach to identify cultural values that exist in South Tapanuli society, such as the concept of gotong royong, respect for parents, and the principles of simplicity and togetherness. These values are believed to be a strong foundation in the character-building process in Madrasahs, as well as instilling pride in the local culture itself. The results of this study indicate that the application of South Tapanuli customary and cultural values in character building in Madrasahs not only enriches the curriculum, but also strengthens social relations between students and between students and the surrounding environment.

In the era of Digital Society 5.0, the development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact on daily life, including in the field of education. Christian education has become an important component in the character formation of adolescents, particularly within the youth fellowship of the Evangelical Protestant Church in the Archipelago (GPIN) Bukit Asam. Parents play a central role in teaching religious values to their children, which will shape their character and morality amid the challenges of the digital era. This research will discuss how parents teach and implement Christian education for the character formation of adolescents at GPIN Bukit Asam, as well as the challenges and strategies faced in the digital context. The findings of this study contribute to understanding the role of parents in applying Christian education for the character formation of GPIN Bukit Asam adolescents in the 5.0 era.

This study aims to provide legal protection for production houses as copyright holders and offer knowledge about unlawful acts that can be committed by production houses regarding the economic losses caused by the illegal distribution of films on the Telegram app. It is hoped that this research will raise awareness in society that piracy or the illegal distribution of films can cause harm to production houses as well as infringe on the copyright holder’s rights. This study uses a normative legal research method with a statutory approach to analyze the applicable regulations in protecting copyright. The results of this study show that parties involved in piracy and the distribution of someone’s copyrighted work have committed unlawful acts, violating both the economic and moral rights of the copyright holder, one of which is the production house. Parties involved in piracy and distribution can be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions outlined in Article 1365 of the Civil Code and Article 113 of Law No. 28 of 2014 on copyright. This study is expected to contribute to the development of legal protection for copyright holders in Indonesia.

Government institutions play a crucial role in providing public services, implementing state policies, and managing public administration. Human resource management in institutions aims to enhance employee productivity to support the achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the influence of discipline, commitment, and organizational climate on employee performance at the Kesyahbandaran and Port Authority Office Class III Tanjung Wangi. The research employs a quantitative approach with a causal study design. Data were collected from 90 respondents using a sampling technique and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that work discipline has a significant partial effect on employee performance, where higher discipline enhances productivity. Commitment has a significant partial effect, showing that employees with high loyalty and moral responsibility tend to perform optimally. A positive organizational climate significantly increases employee performance by creating a conducive work atmosphere. Simultaneously, discipline, commitment, and organizational climate significantly influence employee performance, suggesting that these three variables complement each other in enhancing work efficiency and effectiveness. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for government institutions in formulating policies and strategies to improve employee performance through discipline management, commitment reinforcement, and the establishment of a positive organizational climate.

Wirid Yasin is one of the practices that are widely carried out by Muslims to get closer to Allah SWT and improve the spiritual aspects in everyday life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involves observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data related to the implementation of wirid Yasin in the school. The results of the study indicate that the routine implementation of wirid Yasin at MTsN 4 Mandailing Natal has a positive impact on improving the quality of students' religious life. Students experience improvements in spiritual aspects, such as increased piety, inner peace, and better understanding of religion. In addition, wirid Yasin also contributes to creating a religious atmosphere in the school environment, which in turn affects students' morality and attitudes in everyday life. Therefore, the implementation of wirid Yasin can be an effective effort to improve the quality of students' religious life at MTsN 4 Mandailing Natal.

Victims experienced by adolescents to adults and preventive measures to prevent harassment and violence sexual recurring in the victim. Hope by sharing this story, can provide moral support for other women who may feel hesitate or embarrassed to speak up. The phenomenon of throning, which refers to the practice of seeking partners with high social status to enhance self-image, is increasingly prevalent among Generation Z. Although it may seem appealing, throning poses negative issues such as unrealistic expectations, a transactional view of relationships, and the potential for unhappiness that impacts individuals' mental health. This article aims to critically analyze throning behavior from the perspective of Christian Religious Education, emphasizing the importance of spiritual values in building healthy relationships. The research method employed is qualitative, using a literature review approach that involves analyzing written sources related to throning and Christian Religious Education. The findings indicate that throning contradicts the pursuit of a life partner, as well as the principles of love and respect for the intrinsic value of individuals taught in the Bible. The study concludes by affirming the need for a holistic approach to understanding relationships, grounded in spiritual values rather than social status. Recommendations for future research include more in-depth empirical studies on the impact of throning on mental health and interpersonal relationships, as well as a deeper exploration of Biblical knowledge, which highlights the importance of moral and spiritual values in relationship contexts, even in the digital age. It is hoped that individuals can build more authentic relationships through the lens of the Bible and glorify God.

This study aims to determine how moral and cultural values ​​are formed in the Ngeri-ngeri sedap film. This study uses a descriptive research type. The results of this study discuss several scenes related to the issue of family conflict in the Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap film. The issues include: parents who have the right to control their children, parents who tell their children to marry fellow Batak people to continue the culture, parents who tell their children to return from their travels, the cause of family conflict because each family member feels like they want to be heard but doesn't want to hear, and the role and opinions of women in this family are not considered. The relationship in the family is very eternal and eternal, therefore every conflict in the family must be resolved so that a harmonious family is realized.
