This study observes how influencers sell sharia products through live selling on the TikTok platform and analyzes it from the perspective of muamalah fiqh and how it impacts the Islamic economy. This study shows that sharia-based direct selling can increase market access, expand the reach of sharia MSMEs, and encourage the development of a sharia-based digital economy. This can be seen from the transaction process and the sharia principles that must be adhered to. This study also emphasizes the importance of openness, honesty, and acceptance of contracts to ensure that the transactions carried out are halal and valid according to fiqh. Using a qualitative descriptive analysis methodology supported by literature and direct observation data, it was revealed that direct buying and selling practices can teach people the concept of Islamic economics and encourage ethical or sharia-compliant buying and selling behavior. However, violations of sharia principles such as marketing of illicit goods and fraudulent practices require ongoing supervision and training. This study shows that sharia live selling on TikTok can be an effective way to empower the people's economy and develop a sharia-based and ethical digital economic ecosystem.

The development of digital technology has revolutionized consumption patterns among consumers, including Muslim consumers. Digitalization has not only brought convenience and efficiency, but also created new challenges in the application of Islamic consumption values. Consumption, which is viewed as part of worship in Islamic economics, requires adherence to the principles of halal, thayyib, justice, prohibition of israf and gharar, and social responsibility. This study aims to conceptually examine how consumers play a role in strengthening the Islamic economy in the digital age, as well as how Sharia consumption principles can be ethically implemented in a dynamic digital environment. The method used is a literature review, examining various academic literature, scientific journals, and documents related to Islamic economics and the digitalization of consumption. The findings indicate that Muslim consumers hold a strategic position in shaping value-based markets, driving the growth of the halal sector, and supporting the sharia-compliant SME ecosystem. On the other hand, low sharia-based digital literacy and the dominance of digital consumerist culture pose challenges that must be anticipated. Strengthening literacy, adaptive regulations, and collective awareness transformation are needed to create a digital consumption pattern that is blessed, fair, and sustainable in accordance with the objectives of Islamic law.

This research aims to analyze the evolution and innovation of sharia savings products in Indonesia through a literature-based qualitative approach. The background of the research is based on the significant growth of the national sharia banking sector, driven by government regulations, technological advancements, and changes in customer preferences. This study uses a literature review method by analyzing various secondary sources such as scientific journals, regulations, and financial reports to identify the patterns of Islamic savings product development over time. The research results show that the transformation of sharia savings products is driven not only by religious aspects but also by the demand for service efficiency and financial inclusion. The merger of several Islamic banks into Bank Syariah Indonesia also accelerated the digitalization of Islamic savings services. Although there are challenges such as low Islamic financial literacy and limited infrastructure, development opportunities remain wide open through educational strategies and the integration of the halal ecosystem. Innovations such as the opening of online accounts and the diversification of goal-based products have successfully increased sharia financial inclusion, particularly among the younger generation. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of adaptive product development strategies, financial education, and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of sharia savings products in Indonesia.

Despite the country’s muslim-majority population, the penetration of Islamic insurance in Indonesia remains relatively low. One of the main challenges lies in the limited financial literacy and lack of public trust toward Islamic insurance products. As part of West Java Province, the city of Bandung has one of the largest Muslim populations in Indonesia, characterized by a high level of awareness toward halal products. This study aims to analyze the influence of promotion, product knowledge, and trust on the purchase intention of Islamic insurance policies among the muslim community in Bandung. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 141 respondents, with data analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 3.2.9. The results indicate that promotion, product knowledge, and trust each have a positive and significant effect on the intention to purchase Islamic insurance policies. These findings highlight the importance of informative promotional strategies, improved literacy in Islamic insurance, and the need to strengthen public trust toward Islamic financial institutions. This research is expected to serve as a reference for Islamic insurance providers in developing effective and sustainable marketing strategies.

Financial inclusion is an important pillar in equitable economic development, especially in Indonesia with a majority Muslim population. However, the contribution of Islamic financial institutions (LKS) to national financial inclusion is still low due to limited innovation, access, and public literacy about Islamic finance. This study aims to analyze the role of LKS innovation in accelerating financial inclusion in Indonesia. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with literature studies and secondary data analysis from various related reports and publications. The results show that service digitalization, product diversification, and strengthening the halal ecosystem are the main strategies of LKS innovation. Digital innovations such as sharia mobile banking, fintech, as well as microfinance services and the halal sector have proven effective in expanding access to Islamic finance, especially for MSMEs and communities in remote areas. Synergy between the government, regulators, and industry players is needed to create an inclusive and sustainable Islamic financial ecosystem. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of continuous innovation and Islamic financial literacy education to increase the role of LKS in supporting national economic growth based on Islamic values.

This study explores the role of halal certificates in increasing consumer confidence in food industry products in Indonesia. In a Muslim society and a global market that is increasingly aware of religious ethics and values, halal certificates are not only proof of halalness, but also serve as a signal of quality, safety and integrity of the producer. This research uses a qualitative approach through a literature study, by reviewing scientific articles, books, official reports, and relevant documents related to halal and consumer behavior. The results of the analysis show that halal certificates have three main roles: (1) as a credibility signal to reduce information asymmetry between producers and consumers; (2) as an instrument to reduce risk perceptions of ingredients, processes, and production ethics; and (3) as a brand communication medium that builds emotional attachment and social value. Consumers, especially millennials and Gen Z, demand halalness accompanied by transparency and education in the certification process. Halal certificates also strengthen product competitiveness in the global market, reflecting a religious lifestyle while being modern and sustainable. Therefore, industry players need to make halal certification a comprehensive brand strategy, while regulators such as BPJPH must continue to improve the transparency and effectiveness of the system.

This research uses a quantitative method and focuses on a cattle breeder named Nur Amin, aged 53, who has been raising sacrificial cattle since 2022 in Medan Krio Village, Sunggal Subdistrict. The purpose of this study is to analyze the breeder’s profile and the strategies implemented in developing the sacrificial cattle business. The farm consists of 12 cows—10 males and 2 females—mainly of Simmental and Brahman breeds. The study found that feed fermentation and regular vitamin administration play significant roles in improving cattle growth and health. In addition, regular stable hygiene and the application of artificial insemination are key factors in livestock management. Although no major obstacles have been encountered, limited promotion and market access remain challenges for business expansion. The research also emphasizes the importance of treating cattle farming as a primary business, not just a side activity. The inclusion of Islamic principles and religious texts reinforces that this business aligns with Islamic values, especially in providing halal and high-quality sacrificial animals for religious rites.

JUREKSI (Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance) 2025 STIKes Ibnu Sina Ajibarang

This study uses a qualitative method and aims to dissect the differences between Islamic economics and conventional economics. This study found that Islamic economics is based on Islamic principles reflected in the Qur’an and Hadith, emphasizing social justice, balance, and avoiding elements of usury, gharar, and maysir in every economic activity. Meanwhile, conventional economics is based on the principles of a market economy that aims to maximize material profits without considering spiritual or moral aspects. The source of conventional economic law comes from rules made by humans, while Islamic economics refers to the law of Allah. The Islamic financial system uses profit- sharing mechanisms and halal investments, while the conventional system relies on interest as the main source of income. In addition, Islamic economics integrates social instruments such as zakat, infaq, and sedekah for wealth redistribution, while conventional economics emphasizes taxes and government policies. Thus, this study confirms that the fundamental differences between the two systems lie in their philosophical foundations, objectives, and operational mechanisms.

This study discusses the ethics of Muslim entrepreneurship in facing the challenges of modern capitalism. Capitalism, characterized by profit orientation, individualism, and materialism, often clashes with the moral and spiritual principles of Islam. Muslim entrepreneurs are expected to uphold the values of honesty, trustworthiness, justice, and excellence (ihsan) in their business practices, even under pressure from efficiency demands and free-market competition. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method to explore practical strategies that Muslim entrepreneurs can apply to remain ethical and compliant with Islamic law. The findings show that Islamic ethical principles serve not only as moral guidance but also as a competitive strength in capitalist economic systems.

The community service activity was carried out in Lima Puluh Subdistrict, Batu Bara Regency. The partner in this activity was the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Development Agency. The main problem faced by the partner is the absence of an official slaughterhouse building in Batu Bara Regency. Until now, only independently managed slaughterhouses owned by the community have been used as animal slaughtering facilities. However, these slaughterhouses can only accommodate a limited number of slaughters. Moreover, issues related to poor meat hygiene and cross-contamination during slaughtering and packaging processes for consumer distribution are still frequently encountered. The solution to this problem is to establish an official slaughterhouse in Batu Bara Regency that meets both administrative and technical requirements. The purpose of this activity is to provide understanding to the community and stakeholders regarding the utilization of an official slaughterhouse and the importance of having a standardized slaughterhouse. The expected outcomes of this community service activity are: (1) to increase public knowledge in Batu Bara Regency regarding the importance of RPH utilization, (2) to enhance awareness of providing meat that is Safe, Healthy, Whole, and Halal (ASUH), and (3) to provide recommendations to the local government regarding the planning and development of an official slaughterhouse.

The certainty of halal status in food products is a crucial issue among Muslim consumers. Products containing additives such as gelatin or those imported from abroad often raise concerns, mainly due to limited information regarding their ingredient composition and production processes. This study aims to investigate the halal status of gelatin-based candy products and various imported foods available in Indonesia. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review, product label analysis, and interviews with Islamic jurisprudence experts and representatives from the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH). The findings indicate that most gelatin-based candies in the market contain animal-derived gelatin with unclear sources (either bovine or porcine), while many imported products are not yet halal-certified. In conclusion, Muslim consumers should be more selective in choosing food products, and halal certification bodies play a vital role in educating the public and ensuring transparency in halal information.
