Smoking is an activity that we are now familiar with. Smoking habits have been proven to cause diseases that attack various organs of the human body. Adolescents as part of society who are at a productive age. Cigarette addiction among teenagers is a severe problem in many countries, including Indonesia. Smoking is one of the factors that increase cholesterol levels in the blood. Nicotine can increase fatty acids that affect total cholesterol levels. The purpose of this study was to describe the total cholesterol levels in active smokers in the light, medium and heavy categories in their teens. The type of research used is descriptive. The sample in this study were 41 active smokers with inclusion criteria, namely active smokers, adolescents less than 18 years of age, male sex, not taking drugs, and had fasted 8-12 hours. The sampling technique used is random. The samples were then examined for cholesterol using the CHOD-PAP method. From the results of the study, 26 (63.4%) respondents had normal cholesterol levels, 10 (24.4%) respondents experienced total cholesterol levels in the threshold category, and 5 (12.2%) respondents experienced total cholesterol levels in the high category. From these results, it can be concluded that most of the active smokers in the Cilawu District have cholesterol levels (<200 mg/dL) with an average value of 157 mg/dL. With this research, it is hoped that adolescent smokers can reduce the number of cigarettes consumed, which can stop smoking.

The aging process is a natural phenomenon experienced by every individual, characterized by physical and mental changes that affect the body's functions and capabilities. The speed of the aging process can vary between individuals due to the influence of hormones and other factors. Elderly is often thought of as a disease, whereas aging is actually a natural process of decreasing the body's resistance to external and internal stimuli. During aging, the elderly experience physical, mental and psychological changes. Efforts to improve the health of older adults with chronic diseases are made through the adoption of a healthy lifestyle. This includes regular exercise programs, a healthy diet by limiting salt, fat, and cholesterol intake, quitting smoking, avoiding alcoholic beverages and caffeine, managing emotional stress, and undergoing regular monthly health check-ups. With age, older adults are at risk of various diseases, decreased body functions, imbalances, and the risk of falls. These challenges often conflict with older adults' desire to remain independent and active. The mismatch between expectations and conditions can even lead to depression. Therefore, there is a need for special attention to the health and well-being of the elderly with chronic diseases to maintain their quality of life.

The enhancement number of incident non-infectious disease (PTM) is created through the implementation of non-infectious disease health screening and education presentation, especially for the society of Negeri Latuhalat in productive age and elders. This activity is conducted from house to house or door to door. The method that has been utilized is screening implementation also the presentation of education about the non-infectious disease in the society of Negeri Latuhalat. The steps that have been used during the activity are: planning and preparation, health checkup, also the presentation of education. The result of the screening pursuit towards non-infectious disease obtains average participant with stomach circumference above common, there are 55%, IMT overweight 45%, IMT obesity rate I 15%, hypertension 55%, diabetes 15%, high-uric acid 45%, total cholesterol 45%. Therefore, it is needed to provide education for the society of Negeri Latuhalat in allied with the changes in lifestyle for preventing the enhancement number of non-infectious diseases, particularly in productive age and elders.

Non-communicable diseases are non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, cholesterol and gout which are public health problems that cause death for 36 million people out of all deaths in the world. Non-Communicable Diseases can be prevented through early detection and risk control factors of Non-Communicable Diseases. Screening aims at early detection and connecting factors. The risk of non-communicable diseases including diabetes mellitus in students of SMK Bina Warga Pandeglang Regency. Non-Communicable Disease screening is carried out by taking blood vessels at the respondent's fingertips which are then tested with an autocheck device. The examination was carried out on 51 respondents who underwent the examination, consisting of 6 men and 45 women. The results of the examination obtained the respondent's blood glucose level so far (normal 42 people and height 9 people).

Fish is known as a functional food which is important for health. Fish has a fairly high protein content, besides that it contains OMEGA-3 unsaturated fatty acids (in which it contains EPA and DHA) which are quite popular for maintaining and lowering cholesterol, containing vitamins and minerals. Fish meatballs, Shredded Fish, Naga Legs and Nugget are diversified processed fish products. This dedication aims   to increase the knowledge and skills of the community in processing fish into fish meatballs, shredded fish, dragon feet and nuggets. The method used in  dedication is direct counseling and training. The results obtained from this dedication showed that increase knowledge and skills of PKK mothers in diversification process fish product.

Green tea (Camellia sinensis) is a plant known by the public as a drink that is quite economical and easy to obtain. Green tea contains polyphenol compounds that can lower cholesterol levels in the blood. Excessive cholesterol (Hypercholesterolemia) is a very feared threat because it is one of the causes of coronary heart disease and stroke. High cholesterol has become a common disease for the elderly, the increase in the number of elderly people must be followed by an increase in the degree of well-being, one of which is in the health sector. The rise of lifestyle and the effects of unhealthy eating behaviors have an impact on increasing cholesterol levels. The purpose of this activity is to reduce the rate of hypercholesterolonemia in the elderly through the use of the consumption of green tea brew on cholesterol levels in the elderly in Sumber Cirebon District. The method in this activity is to conduct counseling, observer of respondents and experiments by giving green tea brew then followed by checking cholesterol levels. The result of this activity is that green tea is able to lower cholesterol levels. The conclusion is that the infusion of green can provide benefits for the community, especially the elderly, in improving health and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.

The elderly are a group of people who are vulnerable to degenerative diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and others. The causes include a lack of knowledge about healthy diet and the lack of health checks. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the quality of life of the elderly in Kelurahan Utama of South Cimahi by socializing healthy diets and conducting health checks. Media used for healthy diet counseling are power points, videos, and posters. Health examinations conducted include measurements of body mass index, blood pressure, blood glucose levels, triglycerides, total cholesterol, and uric acid. The results of the health examination showed quite a lot of elderly people who suffer from degenerative diseases. Through this activity, the elderly in Kelurahan Utama of South Cimahi gained knowledge about healthy diet in order to avoid various diseases and know the disease that is being experienced so that they can immediately undergo proper treatment.

Laboratory examination is very important to diagnose a disease, one of which is the examination of total cholesterol to diagnose heart disease, this examination uses serum samples obtained from blood clots that have been centrifuged, various variations of freezing are carried out to accelerate the examination results ranging from blood that is immediately centrifuged and blood that is allowed to freeze for 5-10 minutes, while according to PERMENKES No. 43 of 2013 to get blood serum allowed to freeze for 20-30 minutes at room temperature which is then centrifuged. This study aims to determine the results of differences in total cholesterol levels in blood samples immediately centrifuged and blood samples that are allowed to freeze at room temperature 260C for 10 and 20 minutes before centrifugation. The method used in this study is an experimental research method, this examination uses the CHOD-PAP enzymatic colorimetric method. For data analysis using the SPSS program using the one way anova test. This study was conducted on 15 respondents obtained from students of An Nasher Health Analyst Academy Cirebon randomly. The results of the examination of total cholesterol levels in blood samples that were immediately centrifuged had an average value of 205.8 mg/dl with the lowest value of 112 mg/dl and the highest value of 314 mg/dl, while in blood samples that were allowed to freeze for 10 minutes had an average value of 188 mg/dl with the lowest value of 144 mg/dl and the highest value of 278 mg/dl, and in blood samples that were allowed to freeze for 20 minutes had an average value of 142.6 mg/dl with the lowest value of 95 mg/dl and the highest value of 186 mg/dl. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference in total cholesterol levels in blood samples immediately centrifuged and blood samples left to freeze at room temperature 260C for 10 and 20 minutes before centrifugation.

Background: The world's elderly population reached 13.4% in 2013 and is predicted to increase to 25.3% in 2050. The prevalence of high uric acid levels in the elderly in Indonesia reaches 11.9%, high blood sugar levels reach 35.3. %, and high cholesterol levels as much as 10%. This study aims to determine the level of uric acid, blood sugar and cholesterol in the elderly. Methods: This study used a descriptive analytic design with a cross sectional approach. The research sample used was the elderly aged ? 60 years and over by using the simple random sampling technique in Banjar Dinas Kutuh Kelod, Kerambitan, Tabanan. Data collection was carried out from 7 to 8 June 2020 by means of face-to-face interviews using questionnaire guidelines for respondent characteristics data, and direct examination of uric acid, blood sugar and cholesterol levels using Easy Touch GCU. The data obtained were analyzed using the univariate spss application. Results: Based on univariate analysis, it was found that most of the respondents were 13.2% aged 60 and 69 years, 55.3% were female, 65.8% at the primary education level (SD), and 39.5% worked as farmers. In the bivariate analysis, it was found that most of the respondents or 55.3% had abnormal uric acid levels, 39.5% had abnormal blood sugar levels and 44.7% had abnormal cholesterol levels. Conclusion: Most of the respondents have abnormal uric acid levels while blood sugar and cholesterol are mostly still in the normal category. It is hoped that related parties will continue to carry out screening or early detection, especially in the elderly group, in order to reduce the incidence of non-communicable diseases (PTM) in the elderly.

Hyper cholesterol is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease which is a major cause of death and illness worldwide. Chronic and non-infectious diseases are generally caused by bad lifestyle factors, which can actually be modified. Some of the factors that are at risk for heart disease and stroke are hypertension, cigarette consumption, diabetes, lack of physical activity, unhealthy diets, dyslipidemia, overweight and obesity. The purpose of this community service was to find out an overview of the prevalence of hypercholesterolemia in the area, this screening activity was also expected to be able to initiate cadres and the community to be more active in implementing post-natal activities. Method: This community service activity uses the Community Service approach, by carrying out screening activities forhypercholesterolemia through cholesterol checks on the people in Banjar Tulang Ampian and Banjar Kerta Sari Pemecutan Kaja Village, North Denpasar. Results: A total of 31 people netted had high cholesterol levels of 40240 mg / dL which was dominated by women (63.49%), the most age group was ?51 years (38.62%), most subjects were self-employed / traders (38 , 10%). Conclusion: Increased blood cholesterol levels with age increase are associated with a reduction in cholesterol elimination as bile salts and a decrease in receptors that mediate the clearance process of plasma LDL. Cholesterol levels increase with increasing age and the incidence of coronary heart disease.

Tempe is a traditional fermented food usually made from soybeans by Rhizopus sp. Recents publicationsmentioned that the major component was dietary fiber. One which has the capacity to lowering blood cholesterollevel. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of tempe diet on the lipid profile and cholesterolexcretion in rats. 45 male Sprague Dawley rats were used and divided into 3 groups of 15. Each group were fedan isocaloric and isoprotein diet contained different proportion of tempe (0%, 10%,20%,30% and 40%) for 4weeks. This experiment used completely randomized design.The result showed that tempe diet significantly reduced total cholesterol (12%), LDL-cholesterol (50%) andtriglyceride (50,36%) and increased HDL resulted in the higher cholesterol faeces excretion with were maximumvalue 11,9 mg/g (40% tempe) compared 5,4 mg/g (standar diet).Keywords: Tempe, diet, lipid profile, cholesterol excretion.

Introduction of the iris database features Matching method by distance classifier based on the results of segmentation, edge detection, semi-polarization and the quantization able to detect the level of cholesterol in the human body ranges up to 80% of the 90 samples.
