The Constitutional Court's decision No. 112/PUU-XX/2022, which changed the term of office for the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) from four years to five years, has sparked controversy in the realm of Indonesian constitutional law. The Constitutional Court, which is supposed to act as a negative legislator, is considered to have exceeded the limits of its authority by establishing new norms in its decision. This research aims to analyze whether the action is a form of deviation of the Constitutional Court's authority referring to the 1945 Constitution and Law Number 24 of 2003 concerning the Constitutional Court. This research uses a normative juridical method with a descriptive-analytical approach through a literature study of regulations, scientific journals, and other legal sources. The research findings indicate that the Constitutional Court not only declared Article 34 paragraph (1) of the KPK Law contrary to the 1945 Constitution, but also stipulated a direct change in the term of office to five years, including for the current KPK leadership. This action is considered a form of judicial activism that deviates from the principle of separation of powers and the principle of non-retroactivity of law. In conclusion, the Constitutional Court's decision creates legal uncertainty, opens space for politicization of the judiciary, and sets a negative precedent in Indonesia's constitutional system. Therefore, it is necessary to reaffirm the limits of the authority of the Constitutional Court in order to remain within the framework of constitutional law that upholds the principle of checks and balances at all times.

Mastery of pronunciation skills is a crucial aspect in English oral communication. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of film and song-based audio-visual media in improving the pronunciation skills of English study program students. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of pronunciation tests. The results showed that the integration of film and song media was able to significantly improve students' intelligibility, accuracy, and fluency. Films provide exposure to native speaker pronunciation in real contexts, while songs play a role in reducing anxiety and increasing self-confidence through sound repetition in a relaxed learning atmosphere. These findings are in line with recent studies that emphasize the importance of contextual and authentic media in teaching pronunciation. It is recommended that teachers utilize audio-visual media optimally in learning to create a more interesting and meaningful learning experience.

This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, data obtained through direct observation, teacher interviews, and documentation of the learning process. The results showed that Islamic children's songs significantly improved children's vocabulary mastery both in religious and general vocabulary contexts. Empty oil palm bunches processed by palm oil mills in Indonesia are still abundant, reaching 56.35 million tons per year. Empty oil palm bunches contain around 40% cellulose, so they can still be used for various derivative products, one of which is composite products. The use of empty oil palm bunches as raw materials for Bioplastic production is a series of ongoing research, one of which is starch-cellulose blend, but until now it has not been successfully commercialized. The design of the starch cellulose blend bioplastic industry using palm oil as raw material produces two factories, namely a cellulose factory and a composite bioplastic factory. Both factories are designed in separate buildings. The separation of cellulose from TKKS uses a chemical method with soda, after mechanical treatment of size reduction. The industry is designed in 3 scales of production capacity, namely a large scale of 190,000 tons / year, medium 115.00 tons / year, and small 40,000 tons.year. The financial analysis of the three scales of production capacity as a whole is declared feasible. Profit margin is calculated at a minimum of 17.6%. The average payback period is between 3-5 years with an IRR of 24-49%. Analysis of the economic value produces an EScale index of 0.64 which indicates that the economic scale has been achieved. The economic scale of the starch cellulose blend bioplastic industry from TKKS is at a production capacity of 40,000 tons per year with a minimum supply of TKKS raw materials of 20,203 tons/year. At the smallest economic scale, the BEP is actually only 6627.4 tons/year, where this condition can be achieved because the industry has relatively small fixed costs.

The present study aims to identify and analyze idiomatic expressions in the lyrics of “Do I Wanna Know?” by Arctic Monkeys. Idioms are non-literal expressions that often cause difficulty for English learners due to their figurative nature. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a focus on semantic and contextual analysis based on the theories of Palmer (2007), Larson (2010), and Halliday (2014). The results indicate that the song contains several idiomatic expressions that reflect emotional states such as longing, regret, and insecurity. These findings suggest that song lyrics can serve as effective, authentic, and engaging media for learning idioms in EFL contexts. The study also highlights the pedagogical and cultural implications of using popular songs as teaching materials.

The advancement of digital technology has introduced a novel trend in marketing via social media platforms, specifically through influencers promoting products or services. Nonetheless, numerous endorsements by influencers contain misleading, inaccurate, or harmful claims to consumers. This research aims to analyze the civil liability of influencers for product claims that cause consumer harm in digital media endorsements, referencing Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection. Utilizing a normative juridical method based on literature review of laws, legal doctrines, and pertinent cases, the findings reveal that influencers can be held civilly liable under the tort principle (onrechtmatige daad) as stipulated in Article 1365 of the Civil Code, if proven to provide false or unsupported claims resulting in consumer harm (Setiawan, 2019). Therefore, there is a pressing need to enhance regulations governing the role of influencers in consumer protection frameworks alongside effective liability mechanisms as a form of accountability in the evolving digital marketing landscape.

This research is carried out to study the types and meanings of compound words found in Kendrick Lamar’s song lyrics on the GNX album. The main goal is to identify how the compound words are formed and to understand their meanings. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The theory from McCarthy (2002) is used to group the compound words into three types: noun compounds, verb compounds, and adjective compounds. To analyze the meanings, the study uses Booij’s (2007) theory, which explains two kinds of meaning in compounds: endocentric and exocentric. The data for this research are taken from all twelve songs on the album. The results show that the lyrics include all three types of compound words. The meanings found in the compounds include both endocentric and exocentric types. These findings are explained using simple written descriptions to give a clear understanding of the compounds found in the lyrics. The analysis shows that the lyrics contain many uncommon compound words, which shows the use of creative and modern language.
