The Islamic Literacy Program to Foster Religious Character in Early Childhood is a community service initiative aimed at instilling Islamic values through engaging and meaningful literacy activities. The program was conducted for two weeks in Timbang Langkat Village, Binjai Timur District, involving early childhood learners, PAUD teachers, and parents. This study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings showed a 31% average increase in children’s religious character aspects, including faith, discipline, honesty, responsibility, and social attitude. Furthermore, teacher and parent involvement played a crucial role in strengthening the internalization of religious values through enjoyable literacy activities such as storytelling of prophets, writing Arabic letters, and Islamic role-playing. The implications indicate that Islamic literacy effectively fosters religious character development in early childhood in a contextual and sustainable manner and can serve as a model for other PAUD institutions in developing Islamic character education programs.

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a national initiative to strengthen human resource quality, yet its success depends on schools’ capacity to plan, manage, and sustain implementation. This community engagement program aims to build the institutional capacity of SMP Negeri 7 Jember in planning and executing MBG, enhancing nutrition literacy among teachers, students, and parents, and fostering a sustainable collaboration model with relevant stakeholders. Using a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach with a Plan–Act–Observe–Reflect cycle, the activities included baseline mapping of nutrition management, development of an action plan, training and mentoring for MBG SOP formulation, implementation of healthy eating practices, and reflective sessions for sustainability planning. The program resulted in improved managerial capacity, as evidenced by the development and initial application of MBG SOPs, stronger internal coordination, and increased nutrition knowledge, based on pre- and post–training scores. Parental involvement strengthened alignment between school and home practices, supporting the emergence of a healthy nutrition culture.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between online shopping activities and personal financial management among university students in Indonesia. The background of this research lies in the increasing digitalization of daily consumption, which has encouraged students to engage more actively in e-commerce transactions. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from 100 undergraduate students through an online questionnaire based on Likert-scale indicators. The independent variables consist of buyer characteristics (age, gender, and income sources) and online shopping activities (frequency, spending amount, and shopping motivation). Meanwhile, personal financial management is measured through financial planning and spending control. The findings show that students demonstrate very high levels of online shopping activity and acknowledge the strong influence of demographic factors on their consumption behavior. Descriptive analysis also indicates high scores for financial planning and spending control, although intensive online shopping remains a potential risk to financial stability. The implications of this study highlight the need to strengthen financial literacy among students to help them develop healthier budgeting habits and reduce impulsive buying driven by digital platforms. This research is expected to contribute to the understanding of digital consumer behavior and support the development of financial education programs for young adults.

Guidance and Counseling services have a strategic role in supporting students’ holistic development, including academic, social, emotional, and moral aspects. However, in practical implementation, counseling services in schools still show a gap between theoretical ideal concepts and real field practices. This study aims to analyze the role of school counselors in the implementation of Guidance and Counseling services at MTs Ibnu Sina Karawang, focusing on the counselor’s role, teacher-student interaction patterns, supporting factors, and challenges faced during implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach through semi-structured interviews with the school principal, teachers, and selected students. The findings show that the counselor plays multiple roles, namely as a disciplinary guide, personal counselor, moral educator, and facilitator of religious character strengthening. The interaction between counselors and students is carried out through humanistic, empathetic and communicative approaches. Supporting factors include strong collaboration among teachers, principals, homeroom teachers, and religious-based school activities. Meanwhile, several obstacles are found such as limited number of counselors, lack of students’ comprehensive understanding about BK functions, limited time allocation, and negative stigma that counseling services are only for problematic students. This research emphasizes the need for strengthening counseling literacy and transforming services into more preventive, developmental, collaborative, and continuously progressive student-oriented programs.

Hand hygiene is an essential step in preventing the transmission of infectious diseases, making the availability of safe and environmentally friendly hand soap an important necessity in daily sanitation practices. This community service activity aims to enhance students’ environmental literacy, technical skills, and ecological awareness through training on producing natural hand soap based on butterfly pea flower (Clitoria ternatea) extract, with the final product named Clitoria Nature. The program was implemented using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which consists of four stages planning, action, observation, and reflection—through strategies including socialization, demonstration, and hands-on practice. The subjects of this activity were 32 students of Grade VIII Room 1 at MTsN 1 Palangka Raya City. The results showed an increase in students’ understanding of the benefits of natural ingredients, their ability to formulate liquid soap, and the development of behavior that favors the use of natural hygiene products. Theoretically, the anthocyanin and flavonoid content of butterfly pea flowers supports the antibacterial potential of the formulated soap. This program not only produced an environmentally friendly hand soap but also contributed to the formation of healthier and more sustainable sanitation behaviors.

Malnutrition among early childhood remains a critical issue that hinders Indonesia’s efforts to realize its Golden Generation. This study aims to describe the current condition of child malnutrition, its impacts, contributing factors, and strategies for prevention involving families, communities, health workers, early childhood education institutions, and the government. This paper uses a literature review method by examining scientific sources related to nutrition, early childhood development, and governmental policies. The findings indicate that severe malnutrition significantly affects children’s physical, cognitive, socio-emotional development, and long-term health. Contributing factors include low nutritional literacy, inadequate parenting practices, poor sanitation, recurrent infections, economic limitations, and suboptimal implementation of nutrition programs. Effective prevention requires an integrated, multisectoral approach involving nutrition education, growth monitoring, improved access to nutritious food, and strengthened interventions during the First 1000 Days of Life. Sustainable collaboration across sectors is essential to reduce malnutrition rates and support the development of a healthy and competitive future generation.

The transition toward Society 5.0 demands a workforce capable of integrating technological proficiency with strong human-centered soft skills. This community engagement program aims to enhance the digital mindset and soft skills of PKK women in Boja District, Kendal Regency through a structured mentoring model rooted in human-centered learning principles. Using a needs assessment, experiential training sessions, and group mentoring, the program focused on increasing participants’ abilities in digital literacy, communication, collaboration, creativity, and community-based leadership. The mentoring activities revealed significant improvements in participants’ understanding of basic digital functions, such as the use of smartphones for communication, information access, and household economic opportunities. Engagement in interactive sessions—such as role play, guided discussions, and problem-solving simulations—strengthened participants’ confidence, interpersonal communication, and teamwork skills. Furthermore, several participants demonstrated emerging leadership abilities, particularly in facilitating peer learning and supporting other members during digital practice activities. These findings align with recent literature emphasizing the effectiveness of contextual digital training and experiential adult learning in promoting behavioral change and improving community readiness for technological transformation. Overall, the program successfully enhanced the participants’ readiness to face the challenges of Society 5.0 by fostering digital mindset growth, essential soft skills development, and strengthened leadership capacity. The results indicate that human-centered mentoring can serve as a sustainable approach to empowering local communities and improving their competitiveness in the digital era.

This study examines the role of the Pustaka Prima Community Reading Park (TBM) as an alternative learning space that provides non-formal educational experiences for children and adolescents, especially in communities with limited access to educational facilities. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, this study explores the contribution of TBM in developing creativity, literacy skills, self-expression, and independent learning of participants. Data was collected through participant observations, semi-structured interviews with managers and participants, and documentation of program activities. The results of the study show that TBM Pustaka Prima plays a significant role in strengthening cognitive, social, and emotional development through various activities such as reading literacy, storytelling, basic entrepreneurship training, and other creative activities. These programs have been proven to increase reading motivation, the ability to understand texts, confidence in communication, technology awareness, and the ability to innovate. An inclusive and collaborative learning environment allows participants to explore knowledge, work together, and optimize their potential. These findings confirm that TBM not only functions as a provider of reading materials, but also as a community-based education center that provides meaningful learning experiences outside the formal education system. The implications of the research emphasize the importance of strengthening collaboration, developing sustainable programs, and improving resources and infrastructure to maximize the role of TBM in community empowerment.

Digital transformation has reshaped community life by increasing internet dependency in daily communication, financial transactions, and public services. However, this rapid development has also intensified cybersecurity risks, particularly link-based scams and the misuse of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Limited digital literacy at the family level makes communities vulnerable to phishing attacks, personal data breaches, and AI-generated fraud. This community service program aimed to strengthen digital literacy among residents of RW 03 Kalipancur, Semarang, through participatory education focusing on link scam detection and responsible AI usage. The program involved interactive lectures, case discussions, simulations, and pre-test and post-test evaluations with 18 participants from family groups, PKK cadres, and elderly residents. The results showed a significant increase in understanding, from an average pre-test score of 43% to a post-test score of 84%. Beyond knowledge improvement, participants demonstrated increased awareness and behavioral change toward safer digital practices. The findings suggest that community-based participatory approaches effectively enhance family-level digital resilience and can serve as a replicable empowerment model in other communities facing similar digital threats.

The program was implemented through several stages, including problem identification, training material development, hands-on training, mentoring, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments to measure program effectiveness. Fifteen MSMEs from Prapatan Village, Balikpapan City, participated in the program. The evaluation results showed that the training significantly improved participants' understanding of the use of digital marketing and technology-based financial management. Prior to the training, most participants still had limited digital literacy and had not utilized technology for promotion or financial recording. After participating in the program, 73.3% of participants assessed the material as excellent and relevant to their business needs. This program provides a tangible contribution to the development of technology-based applied science while supporting community economic empowerment through the MSME digitalization process.

This community service activity aims to provide outreach to the Merah Putih Cooperative and prepare simple financial reports in Karijawa Village, Dompu Regency. This program stems from several key issues, such as limited access to capital, low cooperative literacy, and the lack of institutional economic governance at the village level as an effort to strengthen the local economy sustainably. Through a participatory, collaborative, and educational approach by the STIE Bima Impact Community Service Team in Karijawa Village, Dompu Regency, social identification and outreach were carried out in accordance with Law No. 25 of 1992. The outreach was carried out through face-to-face meetings and group discussions regarding the urgency of the Merah Putih Cooperative. This community service activity demonstrated an increase in community understanding of cooperatives as an instrument of sustainable local economic independence, as well as encouraging academic-community collaboration in the development of cooperatives and economic nationalism. This cooperative is expected to have a significant contribution in improving the sustainable economic welfare of the community.

The government has implemented various illiteracy eradication programs at both central and local levels. However, illiteracy remains high, with South Sulawesi ranking sixth nationally. This condition is influenced by the imbalance between the number of Non-Formal Education Units and target areas, limited human resources, as well as learner-related factors such as motivation, age, occupation, distance to learning sites, and monotonous teaching methods. Community learning services through literacy clinics using collaborative methods Reading, Writing Beginning, Structure, Analysis, and Synthesis, combined with project-based learning serve as alternative models to increase community participation and improve learning outcomes. The problem of this research is how the description of the implementation of basic literacy programs through the model "Community Learning Services Through Literacy Clinics"?, and how effective the model "Community Learning Services Through Literacy Clinics with the collaborative method approach?. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the implementation model of basic literacy education programs and determine the effectiveness of learning outcomes. The results of the study illustrated that the basic literacy program was carried out in collaboration between the resources of the Non-formal Education Unit and the resources in the village/kelurahan government as the organizer and tutor Learning outcomes show that the Community Learning Service Model through the Literacy Clinic with a collaborative method approach was declared effective in improving student learning outcomes.

The development of information and communication technology has driven digital transformation across various sectors, including local governments adopting the Smart Regency concept. Digital literacy plays a vital role in supporting the success of Smart Regency implementation, as it determines citizens’ ability to access, understand, and utilize technology effectively and safely. This study aims to measure the digital literacy level of Sleman Regency residents and analyze its contribution to Smart Regency development. The research employs a survey method by distributing questionnaires to residents in several areas of Sleman. The instrument was designed based on four dimensions of digital literacy: technological ability, digital security, problem-solving, and online communication and collaboration. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques to illustrate digital literacy levels based on demographic factors and technology usage intensity. The results indicate that most Sleman residents possess a moderate level of digital literacy, with notable variations in digital security and online collaboration aspects. These findings provide implications for local governments to strengthen digital education programs and expand technology access as part of an inclusive and sustainable Smart Regency development strategy.

Mental disorders constitute a significant public health issue that necessitates family support in daily caregiving processes. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family knowledge levels and their ability to care for family members with mental disorders at the Neglasari Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Tangerang City. This quantitative research employed a cross-sectional design and involved 45 respondents selected through total sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires on knowledge (Guttman scale) and caregiving ability (Likert scale), and were analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods through the chi-square test. The findings revealed that 51.1% of families had low levels of knowledge, while 40% were assessed as unable to provide adequate care. Bivariate analysis demonstrated a significant association between family knowledge and caregiving ability (p = 0.009). These findings suggest that family health literacy plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care for individuals with mental disorders. The implementation of family psychoeducation programs in primary healthcare settings is therefore essential to improve both knowledge and caregiving skills within home-based care. This study contributes to the development of community-based mental health services and provides a foundation for further research on educational interventions and family support systems.

This study aims to analyze the strategy of library management and development in increasing reading interest in SMAN 3 Medan and identify factors that influence students' reading interest. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that library management and development at SMA N 3 Medan play a crucial role in increasing students' reading interest. The strategies implemented include the procurement of a varied book collection that is relevant to students' needs, improving the quality of library services, and creating a comfortable and conducive environment for reading. In addition, the library also acts as a center for literacy activities by holding various programs such as book discussions, interactive reading corners, and digital literacy training. This study also found that students' reading interest at SMA N 3 Medan was influenced by various factors, including the school environment, availability of library facilities, students' intrinsic motivation, family support, and social and cultural influences. Supportive school environmental factors, such as proactive school policies in improving literacy and the role of teachers in encouraging students to read, also contributed to increasing reading interest.

The purpose of this research is to analyze how strategies for collecting and managing Third Party Funds (DPK) affect the profitability level of Bank Jatim. As the bank’s main funding source, the effectiveness of DPK management significantly determines its ability to distribute credit, maintain liquidity, and improve financial performance. This research applies a qualitative descriptive methodology within a case study framework at Bank Jatim, with data collected through comprehensive field observations. conducted during the MBKM internship program in the Accounting and Financial Management Division, complemented by the analysis of Bank Jatim’s financial statements for the 2024–2025 period. The findings reveal that the 15% growth in DPK in 2024 positively contributed to the increase in productive assets, net interest margin (NIM), and return on assets (ROA). Bank Jatim’s main strategies include increasing the proportion of low-cost funds (CASA), digitalizing services through the JConnect application, collaborating with local governments, and providing exclusive services for priority customers. These approaches not only promote the growth of low-cost funds but also strengthen customer loyalty and the bank’s competitiveness amid the evolving banking landscape. The study concludes that innovative, efficient, and digitally based DPK management enhances Bank Jatim’s profitability and reinforces its role as a regional development bank. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana strategi penghimpunan dan pengelolaan Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) berpengaruh terhadap tingkat profitabilitas Bank Jatim. Sebagai sumber pendanaan utama, efektivitas pengelolaan DPK memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga kemampuan bank untuk menyalurkan kredit, mempertahankan likuiditas, serta meningkatkan kinerja keuangan secara keseluruhan. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus pada Bank Jatim. Data dikumpulkan melalui kegiatan observasi langsung di lapangan. program magang di Divisi Akuntansi dan Manajemen Keuangan, serta melalui analisis laporan keuangan Bank Jatim periode 2024–2025.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan DPK sebesar 15% pada tahun 2024 memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan aset produktif, Net Interest Margin (NIM), dan Return on Assets (ROA). Strategi utama yang diterapkan Bank Jatim mencakup peningkatan proporsi dana murah (CASA), digitalisasi layanan melalui aplikasi JConnect, kolaborasi dengan pemerintah daerah, serta penyediaan layanan eksklusif bagi nasabah prioritas. Strategi tersebut tidak hanya berhasil mendorong peningkatan dana murah, tetapi juga memperkuat loyalitas nasabah dan daya saing Bank Jatim di tengah ketatnya persaingan industri perbankan.Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan DPK yang inovatif, efisien, dan berbasis digital berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan profitabilitas Bank Jatim sekaligus memperkuat perannya sebagai bank pembangunan daerah. The rapid development of information and communication technology has transformed the way people access information, interact, and live their daily lives. In this regard, students from the Mathematics Education Study Program at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra conducted "Smart Socialization" during a community service activity in Jaharun A Village, Galang District. The main objective of this community service activity was to increase awareness and understanding among residents of Jaharun A Village, Galang District, regarding the importance of digital literacy in facing the challenges of AI-based disinformation on social media. The implementation methods included initial observation, outreach, and interviews. The results of this activity indicated high community enthusiasm, active participation, and a better understanding of how to use social media wisely and responsibly. This activity successfully built critical public awareness of the importance of verifying information before sharing it and increased local community preparedness for the complex digital information era. This activity is expected to become a model for applicable and sustainable digital literacy education in rural areas.
