Making lesson plans (RPPs) is an essential part of implementing the 2013 curriculum because it gives instructors a practical guidance for carrying out the learning process, which is focused on developing students' character and taking a scientific approach.  The purpose of this study is to evaluate the appropriateness and quality of the RPP that instructors created in relation to the 2013 Curriculum.  The RPP was created by teachers in several elementary and high schools using a document study approach and a descriptive qualitative research methodology. According to Permendikbud Number 14 of 2019, the majority of RPPs have incorporated the required elements, including subject identity, core and basic competencies, learning objectives, learning materials, methods, media, learning resources, learning steps, and assessment.  Authentic evaluation, literacy integration, and the application of a thorough scientific approach were nevertheless determined to have shortcomings and were not yet at their best.  These results show that in order to increase the quality of learning planning in accordance with the 2013 Curriculum's tenets, teachers' capability must be strengthened through ongoing training and professional development.

This study discusses the application of a simple experimental method using eggs and salt water as a medium for teaching basic science at MI Jam'iyatul Mubtadiin. The main objective is to improve students' understanding of the concepts of mass and buoyancy through direct experience. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach with fourth-grade students as subjects. The learning process was carried out through simple experimental steps: preparing fresh water, adding salt, and observing changes in the position of the eggs in the solution. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and . The results showed that this experimental method was able to attract students' interest, increase active participation, and make abstract concepts easier to understand. In addition, this simple experiment-based learning also trains students' critical thinking skills and curiosity. Thus, the use of egg and salt water experiments can be an alternative to effective, inexpensive science learning media that is suitable for the characteristics of elementary school students.

This study aims to describe the early literacy skills of elementary school students through the use of letter-arranging teaching media based on three main indicators: letter suitability, accuracy in arranging letters into words, and accuracy in combining syllables into words. Early literacy is a crucial foundation for mastering reading and writing skills that influence students’ academic development. However, many lower-grade students still face difficulties in recognizing letters and forming words correctly. To address this, learning media that are concrete, interactive, and suitable for children’s developmental stages are needed. The letter-arranging teaching medium was chosen because it trains basic reading skills through enjoyable play-based activities. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method involving 22 second-grade students. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of 10 statements, then analyzed using the mean score and response distribution. The results showed an overall mean of 3.39, categorized as very good. The highest indicator was letter suitability and accuracy in forming simple words (mean 3.6), while the lowest was accuracy in combining syllables into complex words (mean 3.1). These findings indicate that the letter-arranging medium effectively strengthens early literacy, particularly in letter recognition and simple word composition, while also improving motivation, confidence, and cooperation.

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Rotating Wheel (DaPur) learning media on the understanding of multiplication concepts of second-grade students at Tugu Utara 03 Elementary School, North Jakarta. The study was conducted in February 2025 with a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of 60 students divided into two classes, namely class II A as the control group and class II B as the experimental group, each consisting of 30 students. Data collection was carried out through the administration of pre-tests and post-tests. The instruments used have been tested for validity and reliability, with the results that all questions were declared valid and reliable (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.896). Data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the post-test scores of students in the experimental class and the control class, with a t-value of 27.757 and a significance of 0.001 (<0.05). This proves that the rotating wheel media has a positive and significant effect on the understanding of multiplication concepts. The Spinning Wheel media has been proven to help students understand multiplication material in a more enjoyable and concrete way, thereby improving their abilities in the aspects of translation, interpretation, and extrapolation of concepts. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Spinning Wheel (DaPur) media is effective for use in mathematics learning, especially multiplication material.

This study aims to enhance the understanding of fifth-grade students at SDN 060786 in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), specifically the topic "Economic Conditions in My Region," through the use of diorama media. The research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with the spiral model by Kemmis and McTaggart, which includes the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study was conducted in two cycles, with data collected through learning outcome tests, observations of the learning process, and interviews with the teacher to gather feedback on the use of diorama media. The results of the study show a significant improvement in both conceptual understanding and learning outcomes of the students after the implementation of diorama media. The students also demonstrated increased engagement in the learning process, becoming more active and motivated to participate in the activities. Moreover, the use of diorama media helped students understand abstract concepts more easily than through text or verbal explanations alone. These findings emphasize that the teacher’s creativity in selecting and utilizing appropriate learning media plays a crucial role in creating an interactive, meaningful, and enjoyable learning environment, ultimately improving the quality of student learning outcomes.

This study focuses on how the use of Student Worksheets (LKPD) can support the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning process at MIS Al-Hidayah. Using a qualitative approach, researchers explored the experiences of teachers and students through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that LKPD equipped with visual media can create a more engaging learning environment, motivate students, and facilitate their understanding of the material. Teachers design LKPD with pictures and sequential steps, enabling students to be more active and able to learn independently or in groups. Despite obstacles, such as limited time for development and incomplete school facilities, teacher creativity and collaboration with colleagues proved key to success. These findings confirm that LKPD can be an effective learning tool, not only for improving cognitive understanding but also for instilling Islamic values ​​in students. This study also has implications for the development of PAI learning strategies in madrasah-based elementary schools. Thus, the innovative use of LKPD can become a sustainable learning model to improve the quality of Islamic education in the future.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by PowerPoint media in Mathematics for Grade I students at SD IT Riyadhoturrohman. The research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings, following the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 16 students from Grade I of SD IT Riyadhoturrohman. The Problem Based Learning model was chosen because it encouraged students to be actively involved in learning through solving contextual problems, while PowerPoint media was used to help visualize the mathematical concepts being taught. The results showed an improvement in students' learning outcomes from the pre-action stage to Cycle I, and a further increase in Cycle II. Additionally, students demonstrated improved participation, conceptual understanding, and teamwork skills. Thus, the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by PowerPoint media proved to be effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of Grade I students at SD IT Riyadhoturrohman.

This research aims to develop a web-based e-learning application at Sekolah Dasar Masehi Tanggaba by applying the Waterfall software development model. The background of this study stems from the need for interactive, flexible, and easily accessible learning media in the digital era, considering that conventional face-to-face methods are still predominantly used in schools. The Waterfall model was chosen because it provides a systematic workflow through the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was carried out through observations, teacher interviews, and documentation studies to identify the actual needs of users.The results of this study produced an e-learning application with key features, including learning material management, interactive quizzes, discussion forums, and automated assessment. Teachers can upload structured materials and assignments, while students can access learning content, complete exercises, and interact through forums more flexibly. System testing was conducted using the black box method to ensure that each function runs according to user requirements and specifications. Based on the testing results, the application was proven to function properly, be practical to use, and effective in supporting the learning process. Teachers found it helpful in managing materials and assignments, while students experienced more independent and interactive learning that was not limited to the classroom. Therefore, the developed e-learning application can be considered valid, practical, and effective as a supporting learning medium in elementary schools and has the potential to improve learning quality in the digital era.

This community service activity aims to enhance elementary school students’ awareness of healthy digital behavior through the socialization of social media ethics and responsible internet use. The method applied was Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving students, teachers, and school stakeholders in an active, collaborative learning process. The program took place at MI Muhammadiyah, Pagentan District, on August 16, 2025, for three hours, including material presentation, case simulations, educational games, and reflective discussions. The results indicate an increased understanding of digital ethics, the emergence of critical attitudes toward gadget use, and the establishment of a “digital healthy class” commitment between teachers and students. Teachers acted as local leaders to sustain digital literacy values within learning activities. This activity demonstrates that a participatory approach effectively promotes behavioral transformation and fosters a culture of responsible digital awareness among elementary school students.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of creative learning among lower-grade students at SDS Parulian 2 Medan. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation and questionnaires. The subjects were 51 students from grades II and III. The observation results indicate that teachers still tend to use conventional methods; however, students appeared more enthusiastic when the lessons were accompanied by creative activities such as educational games, quizzes, and the use of concrete media. The questionnaire findings support this, showing that 66.1% of students expressed liking creative learning, 17.6% stated it was average, and 16.3% reported less interest. The combined average score of 2.49 indicates that students’ interest in creative learning is at a moderate to high level. These findings highlight that the application of simple creative strategies can provide more enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences for elementary students. The study recommends that teachers optimize the use of media and varied methods to make learning more engaging and aligned with students’ developmental needs.

The use of digital-based learning media has revolutionized the way we learn and teach. Particularly in teaching science at the elementary school level, the application of this type of media stands out as a relevant and interesting topic. This media can significantly improve the quality of science learning, while providing a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience for students. This study aims to review the literature related to the use of digital learning media in the context of science teaching. The approach used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The data collection process involved compiling and analyzing articles discussing digital learning media in science learning, focusing on publications from 2021 to 2023. A total of six articles from journals available on Google Scholar were collected by the researcher. From a systematic review of various published studies, it can be summarized that various types of digital media can be applied in the science learning process. The most commonly used media include digital elements such as images, videos, simulations, and interactive games, as these tools can motivate students to learn and strengthen their curiosity about the material being studied.

This study aims to analyze the quality of educational services at SDN Lambangsari 05 Tambun Selatan based on students’ perceptions using the Service Quality (Servqual) method. The background of this research highlights the crucial role of elementary schools in providing quality education services as a fundamental stage in shaping students’ character, social skills, and cognitive abilities. By focusing on students’ perceptions, this study seeks to obtain a realistic picture of service quality from the perspective of the main beneficiaries, namely the students themselves. A qualitative approach was employed, and data collection techniques involved both direct observation of school activities and the distribution of structured questionnaires to 50 fourth-grade students to ensure the validity of the findings. The Servqual method was used to evaluate five service dimensions: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy, which together provide a comprehensive assessment of educational service quality. The analysis results show that four dimensions—Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy—have positive gaps, indicating that the services provided meet or exceed students’ expectations and reflect the school’s commitment to quality. However, the Tangibles dimension shows a small negative gap (-0.03), suggesting the need for improvements in physical aspects such as the cleanliness of classrooms, the availability of learning media, and the maintenance of school facilities. In conclusion, the overall quality of educational services at SDN Lambangsari 05 is considered good, with strong performance in non-physical aspects, although upgrading physical facilities remains essential to enhance student satisfaction and create a more conducive learning environment.

Brushing teeth among elementary school students continues to be a concern for everyone, especially in maintaining their dental health. To generate the level of the students’ knowledge, it can be seen from a video-based learning method. The survey in SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh showed that most students have a misunderstanding of how to do proper brushing of teeth. The other way to monitor mouth health is to have never watched educational media in the form of videos. This study aims to determine the video-based learning method on tooth brushing knowledge among fourth and fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh. This study is a quantitative study using a correlational approach with quasi quasi-experimental design of Pre-Test and Post-Test. This study consisted of one group that examined the knowledge using the instrument of video therapy. The sample was 45 students that never chosen by using a total sampling technique of all population. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analyses with a normality test and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The findings indicate that knowledge with Cronbach's Alpha (0.758) > r table (0,361) and video-based learning. The result of the bivariate analysis obtained the average statistical value for the pretest as 157. The calculation for the post-test value is 170 with a p-value = 0,000 (≤ 0.05). Therefore, this study proves that there is an effect of the video-based learning method on tooth brushing knowledge of fourth and fifth-grade students in SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh. It is expected that students can apply the information provided on brushing their teeth in daily life.

The development of digital technology and the impact of the pandemic have shifted the learning paradigm in elementary schools from traditional face-to-face models to technology-based online systems. However, the limited mastery of teachers in utilizing digital learning media, particularly Google Classroom, has become a major obstacle in implementing effective online learning. This community service activity aims to improve the competence of teachers at SD Negeri Gollu Sapi in managing technology-based learning through the use of Google Classroom. The implementation method consists of four stages: preparation, workshop implementation, practice mentoring, and evaluation. The workshop was designed interactively by combining material presentation, demonstration, discussion, and hands-on practice, covering the creation of virtual classes, uploading teaching materials, assigning tasks, and conducting online assessments. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in teachers’ skills, both in independently managing online classes and in applying the main functions of Google Classroom. Teachers were able to create digital teaching materials, set assignment schedules, provide feedback, and prepare technology-based assessments. In addition, this activity also produced an online article publication and video documentation as additional outputs. The teachers’ enthusiasm during the implementation indicates that this activity is useful and relevant to the needs of 21st-century learning. With this training, teachers are expected to become more adaptive to the digital transformation in education, thereby supporting the achievement of a more interactive, effective, and sustainable learning process in the digital era.

This study aims to explore the ways in which Islamic Religious Education (PAI) influences the moral growth of Tamanayu 01 Elementary School pupils. Given the difficulties presented by the digital age and shifting societal norms, moral development has become an essential part of basic education. This study combined a case study methodology with a qualitative technique. Observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with the administrator, parents, instructors, and children were used to collect the data. The findings demonstrated that Tamanayu 01 Elementary School's implementation of PAI was done in a comprehensive way by incorporating Islamic values into the curriculum, holding regular religious events like congregational prayer and sermons, and encouraging teacher cooperation to create a religious school culture. In addition to cognitive dimensions, learning also addressed pupils' emotive and psychomotor aspects. Significant supporting factors included the commitment of the principal and teachers, family and community support, and the availability of infrastructure. However, the process of moral formation also faced obstacles such as limited time for PAI learning, the negative influence of social media, the diversity of student backgrounds, and limited resources. According to the study's findings, PAI plays a strategic role in forming students' personalities through an all-encompassing, contextual, and cooperative approach. It is anticipated that other elementary schools will use these findings as a guide when creating character education programmes based on Islamic principles.

This research is a development study that aims to create a product in the form of a learning aid, namely audio-visual media through the GeoGebra Classic application, which is used for 3-dimensional geometric shapes lessons in grade V of YPNU Elementary School Medan. This research was conducted because teachers still do not utilize technology optimally in teaching, especially in mathematics subjects related to spatial shapes. The lack of engaging and interactive teaching methods for complex topics like 3D geometric shapes often leads to reduced student interest and understanding. To improve the mathematics learning process on the topic of spatial shapes, audio-visual media was created with the help of the GeoGebra Classic 5 application. The goal is to provide variations in mathematics learning media and increase student interest in the lesson. The development of this media allows students to visualize 3D geometric shapes more clearly and interactively. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire that included questions to assess the effectiveness of the media from the perspective of educators and students. The results of the evaluation revealed that learning using this media received 93% responses from teachers and 87% from students, which indicates that the media is very effective. The positive feedback from both groups suggests that this audio-visual tool can enhance students' understanding of spatial geometry concepts and improve the overall learning experience. This study offers an innovative approach to teaching mathematics and highlights the importance of integrating technology into the classroom to foster better engagement and learning outcomes.

This study aims to determine the process and effectiveness of instructional text reading skills in Indonesian Language Lessons through the CIRC method assisted by picture media in slow learner children at the elementary school level. The background of this study is the low reading comprehension ability of slow learner students caused by the lack of appropriate learning methods and media that are suitable for slow learner students. The method used in this study was the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model of Kemmis and Mctaggart, implemented in two cycles. The subjects were six slow-learning fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 002 Karangan. Data were collected through observation, learning test results, and documentation. The results of the learning test for reading instructional text skills showed a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, 2 out of 6 slow learner students achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), with an average score of 60 (classical completion 33.33%). While in cycle II, the number of students who completed the test increased to 5 out of 6 slow learner students with an average score of 80 (classical completion 83.33%). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the CIRC method assisted by image media can successfully improve instructional text reading skills because it meets the score above the KKM and the students' active involvement in the learning process.

This research is motivated by students' low basic table tennis skills, particularly in the technical aspects of holding the racket, hitting the ball, and maintaining proper body position. This condition results in low student learning outcomes in physical education subjects, so learning media that can support the learning process more effectively are needed. One alternative media that can be used is tutorial media, because it has the advantage of presenting movements visually, systematically, and can be repeated according to student needs. The method used in this study was an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 20 fifth-grade students of Begawat 01 State Elementary School, selected using a total sampling technique. The research instruments included a practical test of basic table tennis skills, observation, and documentation. Data on student learning outcomes before and after the treatment were then analyzed to determine differences in ability. The results showed a significant increase in basic table tennis skills after the use of tutorial media. Students were able to improve their racket holding techniques, adjust their body position, and become more skilled at hitting the ball. In addition, the use of tutorial media also had an impact on increasing student learning motivation and participation in practical activities. The clearly displayed visualization of movements helped students understand the steps of basic techniques more quickly and effectively. The conclusion of this study is that tutorial media is proven to be effective in improving the table tennis learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Begawat 01 State Elementary School. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of utilizing innovative learning media to support the physical education learning process, so that learning objectives can be achieved more optimally.

Because it affects teaching quality, teacher performance, and eventually the overall quality of education, teacher job satisfaction in schools is very important.  Teachers that are happy tend to be more driven, effective, and capable of fostering a supportive learning environment for their pupils.  The purpose of this research is to partly and concurrently examine the effects of competence, career growth, and normative commitment on elementary school teachers' work satisfaction in the Ayodya cluster in the Banyumanik district of Semarang City.  Using a saturation sampling strategy, the study's sample consisted of all 88 instructors in the Ayodya cluster.  A survey-based quantitative research methodology was used.  A questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5 was used to gather the data.  Using SPSS 23, data analysis methods included multiple regression, t-tests, F-tests, and classical assumptions.  According to the study's findings, work satisfaction is highly influenced by competence, career advancement, and normative commitment, in that order.  At the same time, primary school teachers' work satisfaction in Banyumanik, Semarang City's Ayodya cluster is greatly influenced by career growth, competence, and normative commitment.

This study is aim to find out the significant effect of using grammar racing game to the students’ grammar score (simple present tense)  and the students’ interest toward grammar racing as media in teaching grammar for the Students of Elementary School Education Teacher Program In University of Palangka Raya. The study includes in Quantitative Paradigm with Experimental Design. The researcher designed the Lesson Plan, conducted the treatment and observed the students’ score by pretest and posttest. The population of study was at the first semester students which consisted of three classes. The researcher chose 1A as sample. The sample was determined using purposive sampling technique. After getting the data that were from pretest and posttest, the researcher analyzed the data using ttest formula to test the hypothesis stated based on the result of analysis, it was found that the value of tobserved = 8.677 and the ttable =2.03. It showed that the tobserved was higher than the ttable and to answer the second alternative hypotheses research used questionnaire there are 94 % of 43 students of 1A was interest toward grammar racing game as media in teaching grammar. The result of testing hypothesis determined that the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) stating that there was significant effect of using grammar racing game toward student’s grammar score of Elementary School Education Teacher Program was accepted and Ho stating that there was no significant effect of using grammar racing toward student’s grammar score was rejected.
