This study is motivated by the importance of actualizing Pancasila values in students’ lives, not only at the cognitive level but also in daily social interactions within the campus environment. Phenomena such as digital individualism, exclusivity in social relationships, and bullying practices indicate a gap between understanding and implementation of Pancasila values. This study aims to analyze the forms of Pancasila value actualization through students’ social interaction patterns and their implications for character building. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, with secondary data derived from scientific journals, books, and relevant academic documents. Data collection was conducted through documentation study, while data analysis used descriptive-critical content analysis. The findings show that the actualization of Pancasila values is reflected in religious tolerance, rejection of bullying, cross-cultural inclusivity, deliberative decision-making, and fairness in academic collaboration. These results indicate that students’ social interaction serves as an important indicator of successful internalization of Pancasila values. Practically, this study highlights the importance of strengthening character education based on social practices to develop ethical, inclusive, and Pancasila-oriented young generations.

The Megengan tradition is a Javanese ritual performed before the month of Ramadan as a form of spiritual preparation, strengthening social solidarity, and maintaining relationships with ancestors. However, the development of modernization, urbanization, educational advancement, and changes in mindset have caused this tradition to experience a significant shift in meaning. This study aims to describe the changes in function, meaning, and position of Megengan in modern society using Max Weber's modernization theory as an analytical framework. The research method used is a literature study from various journals, cultural documents, and previous research related to the Megengan tradition in various regions of Java. The results show that Megengan has undergone a transformation from a sacred ritual full of cosmological symbols to a more functional and efficient socio-cultural activity. The process of rationalization in modern society has caused the spiritual and symbolic meaning of ritual foods such as apem, ketan, and ingkung to be reduced, while the form of ritual implementation has become more formal and centered on religious institutions. The change in ritual authority from elders to modern religious figures is one indication of the shift from traditional authority to rational-formal authority as explained by Weber.  Despite the simplification of its meaning, Megengan remains a living tradition that serves to strengthen cultural identity, social harmony, and intergenerational relationships. This research confirms that the shift in Megengan does not indicate a weakening of Javanese tradition, but rather a form of cultural adaptation in response to the dynamics of modernity.

Education is a fundamental human need that plays a key role in shaping behavior and contributes to the development of a successful generation in Indonesia. However, during the learning process, teachers often encounter students who struggle to grasp the concepts being taught. This is due to the fact that each student brings unique characteristics and diverse backgrounds to the classroom. Teachers, therefore, must selec and develop various teaching materials that are suited to the individual needs of their students. The ability to tailor these materials effectively requires experience and knowledge in the development and selection of appropriate teaching tools for elementary schools. This study aims to assess the ability of elementary school teachers to manage differentiated learning, specifically through a literature review. The research will also identify how teachers approach the management of differentiated learning in the classroom and analyze the factors influencing their ability to implement this approach. By examining relevant literature, the study seeks to provide insight into the current capabilities of teachers and offer recommendations for improving the management of differentiated learning. The research employs a literature review method to gather data and draw conclusions about the best practices for managing differentiated learning in elementary school settings.

This article provides a descriptive analysis of the potential for integrating national security values into the Christian education curriculum as a strategic effort to support Indonesia's vision of generating a golden generation by 2045. The research object is the formal Christian education system in Indonesia, encompassing its curriculum, pedagogy, and the overarching goal of character formation. The central problem addressed is the perceived dichotomy between faith-based education and the cultivation of civic responsibility, specifically concerning national security a concept often narrowly associated with the military rather than with social resilience, tolerance, and unity. The objective is to explore how Christian educational values can be systematically aligned with national priorities to produce graduates who are both devout and patriotic. Employing a qualitative descriptive analysis method, this study synthesizes findings from a literature review of Christian education philosophy, national curriculum standards, and policy documents on national security and character education. The main findings reveal a significant convergence between Christian ethical teachings such as love for neighbor, integrity, and peacebuilding and the core values underpinning national security and social harmony, like Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity). The synthesis of ideas proposes a conceptual framework where subjects like civic education and religious studies are interwoven to foster a holistic identity. The article concludes that a deliberate integration of national security values, framed as active citizenship and social stewardship, is not only compatible with Christian education but is essential for realizing the resilient, morally grounded human resources needed for Indonesia 2045.

Studi Administrasi Publik dan ilmu Komunikasi 2026 Asosiasi Peneliti Dan Pengajar Ilmu Sosial Indonesia

The rapid advancement of digital technology demands a transformation in public communication to effectively engage Generation Z as digital natives. Through the Instagram account @swargaloka.sby, the Surabaya City Population and Civil Registration Department aims to drive e-KTP (electronic ID card) registration. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study examines digital communication strategies based on the framework of Chaniago and Majid (2024), which encompasses five key aspects: creativity, visual quality, audience alignment, posting consistency, and responsiveness. The analysis reveals that while appealing visuals and communicative language have successfully built audience engagement, actual participation in e-KTP registration remains suboptimal. This is attributed to a relevance gap between population administration issues and the daily lives of young people. The effectiveness of digital communication in driving tangible action depends on the account managers' ability to deliver more persuasive and personally relevant messaging to ensure a sustainable increase in administrative awareness in the digital era.

The digital era presents various opportunities as well as challenges in the world of education, particularly in the formation of student character. The development of technology, social media, and the unlimited flow of information influence the way students think, act, and behave. This condition demands the role and responsibilities of Christian Religious Education (PAK) Teachers that are increasingly complex and strategic. This study aims to describe the responsibilities of PAK Teachers in the formation of student character in the digital era. The research method used is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data were collected through a review of scientific journals, academic books, and theoretical sources relevant to the research topic. The results of the study indicate that PAK Teachers are not only responsible for conveying Christian faith material, but also guiding students in internalizing and practicing Christian values such as love, honesty, responsibility, self-control, and empathy, both in real life and digitally. PAK Teachers act as educators, role models, guides, and spiritual counselors who integrate character education into the learning process. In addition, PAK Teachers are required to have adequate pedagogical, professional, personality, and social competencies, as well as the ability to utilize technology wisely. Collaboration with parents and schools is a crucial aspect in sustainably shaping students' character. Thus, Christian Religious Education teachers act as agents of transformation in shaping a generation with Christian character ready to face the challenges of the digital era.

Social media has become integral to the daily lives of Generation Z (Gen Z) in Indonesia, with intensive daily usage contributing to significant mental health concerns. This narrative review synthesizes evidence from the literature published between 2021 and 2026 to examine the primary mechanisms social comparison and fear of missing out (FOMO) underlying the negative effects of social media on mental health, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, sleep disturbances, and social isolation. Drawing from 15 key open-access articles (including 7 Indonesia-specific studies and 8 global comparisons), social comparison through curated content on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook was consistently associated with diminished self-satisfaction and heightened dissatisfaction. FOMO, particularly amplified by fast-scrolling algorithms on TikTok, promoted compulsive behaviors such as doomscrolling and exacerbated emotional distress. Digital wellness strategies, including digital detox, mindful usage, and media literacy, showed promising potential for mitigation, although long-term effectiveness remains limited in the Indonesian context. Notable research gaps include the scarcity of longitudinal studies, culturally tailored interventions, and data from rural or non-urban populations. This review recommends integrating digital literacy education into school curricula and developing community-based mental health programs to address risks in the 2025–2026 digital era. The findings offer insights for prevention and intervention strategies targeting Gen Z mental health in Indonesia.

This study is based on the fact that history learning in secondary schools is still dominated by a memorization-based approach, which does not fully encourage deep understanding or interest in learning among students, while the characteristics of the digital generation demand more interactive, visual, and participatory strategies. This study aims to examine the urgency of utilizing interactive media in history learning, identify relevant forms of media, and explain their implications for the quality of the learning process and outcomes. The method used is a literature study examining various recent studies on the use of interactive multimedia, digital e-books, historical videos and simulations, and educational games in history learning. The results of the study show that the use of interactive media contributes to increasing interest and motivation in learning, strengthening understanding of concepts and the chronology of events, and developing students' critical and historical thinking skills, while encouraging a shift in the role of teachers to become facilitators and innovators of learning. Therefore, its integration needs to be designed in a targeted and contextual manner to be in line with the characteristics of students and the demands of 21st-century learning.
