The interval between 2018 and 2025 represents a defining epoch in financial assurance, characterized by a systemic collision between traditional audit methodologies and the exponential sophistication of fraudulent actors. This research employs a comprehensive library research methodology, utilizing Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to evaluate the evolving landscape of audit and fraud. The study traces the theoretical migration from Cressey’s Fraud Triangle to multidimensional frameworks like the Fraud Pentagon, which emphasizes the roles of arrogance and competence. Through a forensic examination of catastrophic audit failures including Wirecard, FTX, and the emerging risks of crypto-assets, the research identifies recurring patterns of auditor failure in assessing operational risks and internal controls. Furthermore, the report analyzes the dual-edged impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI); while machine learning algorithms offer enhanced detection capabilities, the rise of Generative AI (GenAI) and deepfake technology has empowered perpetrators to execute sophisticated "synthetic reality" frauds. The study critically evaluates regulatory responses, particularly the revision of International Standard on Auditing (ISA) 240, which mandates a more proactive "fraud lens." The findings suggest that the auditing profession faces an existential crisis of relevance, necessitating a fundamental shift toward a forensic mindset supported by advanced technological integration.

The rapid development of digitalization and innovation has become a key driver in improving business processes and the competitiveness of organizations worldwide. This study is the first comprehensive bibliometric analysis examining the relationship between digitalization and innovation in business processes, to map the intellectual structure of this field, track the development of its themes, and identify remaining research gaps. This analysis, which utilizes data from Scopus processed using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny software, covers publications from 2010 to 2024 and employs co-occurrence, co-authorship, and thematic evolution techniques. The results show a rapid growth in publications since 2016, peaking at over 110 publications in 2024. Eight key thematic clusters stand out: Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, blockchain, drivers, and agile business process management. Despite the field's maturity, it still suffers from high fragmentation, strong geographic concentration, and a reliance on cross-sectoral research designs. As a result, longitudinal insights remain limited, and digital transformation failure rates remain high, reaching up to 70%. This research presents the first quantitative and visual roadmap of global knowledge flows in this domain and underscores the need for longitudinal, geographically inclusive, and people-centric research to move beyond single-point understandings to a sustainable, context-sensitive framework that enhances both the theoretical depth and practical success of digital-based business process innovation

This qualitative study examines the Public Service Performance Gap at the Ponorogo Regency Transportation Agency (Dishub) in managing high-risk traffic assets, which stems from the failure to synergise Normative Governance with operational Public Asset Management (MAP). Utilising Edwards III's Policy Implementation Model and GG/NPS principles, the core finding indicates that synergy failure is mediated by a Reactive Bureaucratic Disposition. While Dishub adheres procedurally, asset maintenance is largely reactive—performed only after damage or public complaint—not preventive. This non-responsive attitude limits accountability to reporting outputs disconnected from physical service outcomes, leading to low service quality. The proposed substantive solution is to activate Community Involvement (NPS) as a key moderator, which is currently weak, by integrating Functional Participation into the agile MAP cycle. The research recommends an e-governance system with KPIs, where transparently integrated citizen reports automatically trigger work orders, creating external public accountability pressure that forces the reactive bureaucracy to act proactively.

The stability of slopes in open-pit coal mining in Indonesia is significantly influenced by geological faults, which are a major factor causing slope failures. This study aims to examine the impact of faults on slope stability by conducting a systematic literature review of 25 scientific publications from 2018 to 2025. The results indicate that faults and fault zones consistently reduce rock mass integrity through several mechanisms, including stress concentration in weak zones, the formation of preferential sliding surfaces, amplification of hydro-mechanical effects from groundwater and rainfall, and the reduction of rock strength parameters. Case studies in Kalimantan and Sumatra confirm these mechanisms with slope failures aligning with fault orientations. Kinematic and numerical analyses using the Limit Equilibrium Method (LEM), Finite Element Method (FEM), and Distinct Element Method (DEM) show a reduction in the safety factor (SF) by up to 36% on slopes affected by faults. Practical recommendations include continuous monitoring using Slope Stability Radar (SSR), optimization of slope geometry with angles < 18° in fault zones, groundwater control, reinforcement with anchors and bolting, and UAV-based discontinuity mapping for hazard zoning. This study concludes that managing slopes in fault zones requires an integrated approach combining detailed geological investigation, multi-method numerical analysis, real-time monitoring, and specific mitigation design.

This study is motivated by the emergence of public controversy surrounding the alleged sexual harassment case involving the preacher Gus Elham, which has sparked widespread debate about ethical boundaries in da’wah activities. This phenomenon reflects a moral and social crisis in contemporary da’wah practices, particularly in relation to power relations, child protection, and the moral responsibility of religious figures as public role models. This study aims to analyze violations of da’wah ethics in this case from moral and social perspectives, as well as to identify its impact on public trust in preachers and religious institutions. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through the analysis of online news, public statements, social media posts, interview recordings, and da’wah-related content associated with the case. The findings indicate that the actions in question not only violated norms of decency but also revealed a failure to understand principles of child protection and ethics of da’wah based on akhlakul karimah. Socially, the case demonstrates a moral crisis affecting religious authority and an increase in public skepticism toward religious figures. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of formulating stricter da’wah codes of ethics, strengthening ethical literacy among preachers, and integrating child protection values into da’wah practice to prevent similar cases from recurring.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels. This condition includes several types, such as type 1 and type 2 diabetes. It occurs when the body is unable to produce enough insulin, experiences impaired insulin function, or faces a combination of both. As a result, glucose cannot be effectively absorbed by the body’s cells and accumulates in the bloodstream, leading to high blood sugar or hyperglycemia. If this condition persists, the buildup of glucose can cause various disorders in different organs. Without proper management, diabetes may lead to severe and life-threatening complications. Chronic hyperglycemia in diabetic patients is associated with long-term damage, dysfunction, and even failure of vital organs such as the eyes, kidneys, nerves, heart, and blood vessels. In this activity, percentage-based methods and demonstrations of blood glucose testing were used as educational tools for students. The results showed that students’ awareness of the dangers of elevated blood sugar levels remains low. Many of them are still unfamiliar with the importance of regular blood glucose monitoring and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to prevent diabetes. Therefore, continuous efforts are needed to provide education and outreach on the prevention and early management of diabetes mellitus.

This study conceptually analyzes how blockchain technology reshapes the mechanisms of transparency and trust in global Islamic trade from the perspective of Islamic economics. The digitization of financial systems encourages a shift from trust based on social integrity and human relations, which traditionally form the foundation of muamalah practices, to an algorithmic trust model governed by code. In this context, this study examines how core values such as amanah and 'adl can be supported and even strengthened when economic interactions are increasingly mediated by technology. The research approach employs a qualitative-descriptive method, based on a literature review, with Miles and Huberman's analysis used to interpret the data and combine it with the normative principles of Islamic economics, thereby supporting the substance of Sharia. The main findings of this article show that blockchain has significant potential to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability through distributed ledgers and smart contracts, aligning with the objectives of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. However, despite its ability to reduce informational gharar, this technology also gives rise to new uncertainties that are technical, epistemic, and social in nature. Cases such as the DAO hack and the Terra–Luna failure confirm that technical transparency does not automatically lead to substantive justice. As a contribution, this study offers a Digital-Trust Maqāṣidiyyah framework, which positions blockchain as a means to strengthen Sharia ethics through adaptive contracts, Sharia oracles, decentralized arbitration, digital literacy, and Sharia regulatory sandboxes.

The digital transformation of public administration in recent decades has reshaped government service delivery, particularly through the adoption of technology as a tool to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability. The implementation of the Online Single Submission–Risk Based Approach (OSS-RBA) represents Indonesia’s strategic effort to create an integrated licensing framework aligned with the principles of good governance. This study aims to analyze the forms of administrative responsibility in digital-based licensing services under OSS-RBA and examine the accountability mechanisms applicable when system failures affect legal certainty for business actors. The research employs a normative juridical method using statutory, conceptual, and case approaches through the examination of regulations, doctrines, and administrative court decisions. The findings indicate that digitalization does not alter the core of governmental responsibility, as every decision generated by the system is legally attributed to the competent administrative authority. The implementation of OSS-RBA still faces obstacles such as system errors, data inconsistencies between institutions, and delays in technical verification, all of which directly affect legal certainty and the quality of public services. Furthermore, internal and external oversight mechanisms are not yet fully effective in preventing maladministration, including unreasonable delays and inaccuracies in automated decision-making. The study also shows that business actors require more responsive administrative remedies to prevent technological risks from shifting entirely onto them. Therefore, this research concludes that the effectiveness of OSS-RBA depends on strengthening institutional capacity, harmonizing regulations, and ensuring the consistent application of good governance principles throughout all stages of digital licensing administration.

This study analyzes the application of sentence enhancement to perpetrators of fraud in the recruitment of civil servants (ASN) and examines the consistency of judicial reasoning in Decision No. 1175/Pid.B/2024/PN Mks. The research focuses on two main issues: the fulfillment of the requirements for sentence enhancement under Articles 52 and 486–488 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP), and the alignment of the judge’s considerations with the principles of criminal sentencing. Using a normative juridical method and employing statutory, case, and conceptual approaches, this research finds that the application of Article 378 KUHP was appropriate, as the elements of deception were proven. However, sentence enhancement under Articles 52 and 486–488 KUHP was not applied due to the absence of a functional connection between the perpetrator’s status as an ASN and the offense, as well as the failure to meet the formal requirements of recidivism. Although the decision is legally defensible in a formal sense, it lacks substantive completeness in addressing moral and sociological considerations. The perpetrator’s ASN status and prior conviction should reasonably serve as aggravating factors. The study concludes that while the decision is normatively consistent, it falls short of achieving substantive justice, particularly regarding public protection and the integrity of the civil service.
