The assessment of student achievement is one of the main indicators in measuring the effectiveness of the educational process in Islamic boarding schools. The assessment process that has been carried out manually tends to be subjective, so it has the potential to cause a discrepancy between the student's achievement and the results of the evaluation received. This research aims to develop a decision support system that is able to assess student achievement in an objective, measurable, and transparent manner by applying the PROMETHEE (Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation) method. This method is used because it has the ability to manage various assessment criteria simultaneously to produce fair and rational alternative rankings. The research approach used is quantitative descriptive by involving a number of students as research samples. The data was analyzed through the stages of determining weight, calculating preference values, and determining the values of leaving flow, entering flow, and net flow as the basis for determining the final ranking. The results of the study show that the PROMETHEE method can provide consistent and accurate ranking results, by placing students who have academic excellence, discipline, and positive personalities in the top position. These findings prove that the PROMETHEE method is effective in overcoming the subjectivity of the assessment and increasing the transparency of the evaluation process. Practically, the resulting system can help the pesantren in determining outstanding students more efficiently and based on data, as well as theoretically strengthen the application of multicriteria decision-making methods in the context of Islamic education.’

Leadership and organizational structure in Islamic education are two interrelated elements that shape the direction, vision, and sustainability of educational institutions founded upon divine values. The background of this study stems from the phenomenon of weak leadership systems and organizational governance in several Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, characterized by low managerial competence and the lack of integration of spiritual values in leadership practices. This condition hampers institutional effectiveness in achieving the expected quality of education. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of leadership as a pillar of spiritual and managerial transformation and to describe the organizational system of Islamic education as a collaborative and value-based system. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach, analyzing various academic sources, Islamic leadership theories, and previous research findings. The results indicate that Islamic educational leadership grounded in the values of amanah (trustworthiness), syura (consultation), and ukhuwah (brotherhood) plays a crucial role in building a productive and ethical organizational culture. Furthermore, an organization based on collaboration, justice, and open communication strengthens institutional effectiveness and enhances the participation of all educational components. The synergy between spiritual leadership and a value-driven organizational system produces Islamic educational institutions that are excellent, adaptive, and oriented toward nurturing individuals who are both faithful and knowledgeable.

Mathematics anxiety is a psychological barrier that negatively affects students’ performance and self-confidence. A valid and reliable measurement tool is required to identify this condition accurately. This study aims to examine the construct validity of the Mathematics Anxiety Rating Scale 30 (MARS-30) using a Monte Carlo simulation approach. The research employed first-order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) through R software with a simulated sample of 300 respondents. The findings revealed that the overall measurement model achieved excellent fit indices, as indicated by Normed χ², RMSEA, SRMR, and CFI, all within the optimal range. Nevertheless, only 8 out of 30 items (26.7%) met the validity criteria, while the remaining 22 items were found invalid. This result suggests that although the global model fit was adequate, most items of MARS-30 did not consistently represent the construct of mathematics anxiety. The implication of this study highlights the necessity of revising the instrument by refining item wording, adjusting indicators, and conducting further testing to ensure stronger construct validity. A more valid instrument will enable educators and researchers to design targeted pedagogical interventions for reducing mathematics anxiety and supporting students’ learning outcomes.
