This study investigates the influence of inflation and unemployment on poverty levels in several provinces in East Java. The aim of this research is to find out how variables such as inflation and unemployment rates impact poverty levels. This research was conducted using descriptive quantitative methods. Secondary data was collected from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and other parties involved in this research. Multiple linear regression analysis was carried out using the SPSS 26.0 program. The percentage of poverty level is the dependent variable, and the percentage of inflation and unemployment levels are the independent variables. The research results show that the independent variable and dependent variable simultaneously have a significant influence. Each independent variable has a different impact on the influence individually (partially). Inflation does not have a significant impact on poverty, but unemployment has a significant impact on poverty.

Foundations are structural elements that play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and safety of buildings; therefore, understanding soil characteristics and stratification is a critical stage in geotechnical design. This study aims to analyze soil characteristics and stratification using Cone Penetration Test (CPT) data as a basis for determining safe and efficient foundation depth. The research method employed a quantitative–descriptive approach utilizing CPT test data obtained from two test points at the research site in Blitar City, East Java. The analyzed parameters include cone resistance (qc), sleeve friction (fs), and friction ratio (Rf), which were recorded continuously with depth in accordance with ASTM D3441-86. The results indicate that the shallow soil layer up to a depth of approximately 2.0 m is dominated by fine-grained soils with low qc values and high Rf values, making it unsuitable as a foundation bearing layer. The soil layer with the most favorable mechanical characteristics was identified at a depth of approximately 5.5–6.0 m, characterized by high and relatively stable qc values and low Rf values, indicating dense coarse-grained soil. Variations in the depth of hard soil layers between test points suggest lateral variability in subsurface conditions. These findings confirm that CPT data are effective for identifying soil stratification and providing preliminary recommendations for foundation depth in geotechnical planning.

Medicinal chemicals (BKO) are chemical compounds that are commonly added to traditional medicinal preparations to increase the drug's indications and offer a powerful and rapid impact in illness treatment. Traditional medicines containing BKO in Indonesia, particularly in East and West Java, are increasing year after year, from 43 to 50-53 traditional remedies containing medicinal compounds. Using the normative method, researchers will be able to use the findings of empirical legal science and other sciences to analyze and explain law without altering the character of normative legal science. The Consumer Protection Law Number 8 of 1999 regulates legal protection for consumers who consume industrially produced traditional medicines containing dangerous chemical chemicals. Article 19 (1) states that business actors are responsible for compensating consumers for damage, pollution, and/or losses caused by the consumption of goods and/or services produced or traded. (2) The compensation described in paragraph (1) may take the form of a refund or replacement of products and/or services of the same kind or equivalent value, or health care, and/or the payment of compensation in line with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations. (3) Compensation is granted within 7 days after the transaction date. (4) Providing compensation as stated in paragraphs (1) and (2) does not preclude criminal prosecution based on further evidence indicating the presence of an element of error. (5) If the business actor can demonstrate that the error was caused by the customer, the rules intended in paragraphs (1) and (2) do not apply. Suggestions for effective implementation. Lamong Bay is one of the important water areas in Indonesia, located around the coastal area of Surabaya, East Java. This area has high ecological and economic value because it functions as a sea transportation route and supports marine biota. So this research is intended to monitor the quality of sea water in Lamong Bay based on benthos and plankton bioindicators. Plankton and benthos are small organisms that live in waters and are very sensitive to environmental changes. The plankton sampling method involves using a plankton net to collect plankton samples from the waters. The grab and net sampling method is a method used to collect benthos samples from the bottom of the waters. The results that can be concluded from the analysis carried out in the waters of Lamong Bay, for the type and abundance of plankton, phytoplankton are 3 classes, namely Bacillariophyta (16 species), Cyanobacteria (2 species), and Euglenozoa (1 species), and zooplankton found include Arthropods Monacilla sp. and Nauplius, Ciliophora individuals include Favella sp. , Tintinnopsis sp. , Tintinnopsis sp. 2, Tintinnopsis sp. 3 as well as individual Rotifera including Notholca sp. Meanwhile, for Benthos, only Thiaridae was found.
