Clean living behavior can be done by maintaining the sustainability of life can be done by reducing waste, saving energy, planting trees, and not littering. Waste sorting can be done by separating organic and inorganic waste into different trash bins. In addition, inorganic waste can also be separated again based on its type, such as plastic, paper, glass, and metal. Facilitates the process of collecting and processing waste for recycling. The Principles of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) recommend the use of waste sorting methods. The daily habits that we do to maintain personal and environmental cleanliness consist of this behavior. . Along with the emergence of various diseases that often attack children aged 6-12 years, PHBS in schools is a collection of behaviors carried out by students, teachers, and school residents based on learning so that they are able to independently prevent disease, improve their health. Implementation of better waste sorting practices can reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment, increase the efficiency of waste management, and provide long-term benefits for school residents. Schools are one of the places that have great potential to educate students about good waste management. SD Negeri 2 Kelusa has problems related to the lack of student knowledge about waste sorting and utilization, especially organic waste. Most students at SD Negeri 2 Kelusa still have limited understanding of the types of waste and how to process it. Most students do not realize and understand that organic waste can be reused, so they tend to throw it away with other waste.

The use of digital media as a medium to communicate social messages is increasingly widespread, including in environmental conservation campaigns. One of the platforms used is YouTube, which allows messages to be delivered through a visual and narrative approach. However, not all content produced is able to present emotional impacts and environmental awareness effectively. The strategy for delivering messages is an important factor, especially through literary and visual expressions that can build emotional closeness with the audience. The Rekam Nusantara YouTube channel is an interesting example to study because it combines literary and visual elements in conveying the message of an environmental cleanliness campaign. This study aims to analyze the forms of literary and visual expressions used in the channel and how effective they are in building audience awareness. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, which systematically describes the characteristics of the content based on the data analyzed. Data were obtained through literature studies and analysis of video content published by the Rekam Nusantara channel. The results of the study show that this channel utilizes literary elements in the form of poetic narratives and a cinematic visual approach to move the emotions of the audience. However, the effectiveness of the campaign can still be improved by adjusting the theme to the local context and a more specific audience profile. These findings underscore the importance of a relevant and touching narrative-based content strategy to optimize the role of digital media in social and environmental campai.

This study aims to examine how behavior modification in orphanage adolescents through the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) method can enhance awareness of hygiene and health, particularly at Al-Munasaroh Orphanage. The research adopts an action research or intervention-based approach using qualitative methods. It emphasizes the analysis of behavioral changes through direct field observations and in-depth interviews, focusing on the quality and impact of behavioral modification among adolescents. The intervention was designed to address the lack of awareness regarding personal hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and health routines commonly found in institutionalized adolescents. The study investigates the various factors that influence the success of behavior modification, including internal motivation, emotional regulation, and external support from caregivers, peers, and the living environment. The CBT-based modification process spanned 18 structured sessions, which included psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, role-playing, habit formation, and reinforcement techniques. Additionally, environmental improvements and the availability of hygiene-related facilities were integrated to support the desired behavioral outcomes.  Findings reveal significant changes in daily hygiene practices among participants, such as increased frequency of handwashing, tidiness in personal belongings, regular bathing, and active participation in cleaning shared spaces. The support of peers and caregivers played a crucial role in maintaining consistency and motivation. The study concludes that CBT is an effective method for fostering awareness and instilling sustainable hygiene behaviors in adolescents living in orphanages. Based on these results, recommendations are proposed for integrating CBT-based hygiene programs into routine care at orphanages to promote long-term behavioral change and health awareness.

A healthy latrine is one of the essential sanitation facilities aimed at maintaining environmental health and improving public health in general. This research was conducted because the use of healthy latrines in Webetun Village remains low, where defecating in the forest has become a common practice among the community. This habit triggers the emergence of diseases such as diarrhea, malnutrition, undernutrition, dengue fever, and respiratory infections. This study aims to examine the behavior of latrine use in households in Webetun Village, Rinhat Subdistrict, Malaka Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The study involved 66 housewives who owned healthy latrines, selected through simple random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The results showed that variables such as latrine ownership (p=0.000) and water availability (p=0.000) were significantly associated with latrine use, while knowledge (p=0.681), attitude (p=0.588), actions (p=0.007), community leader support (p=0.081), and health worker support (p=0.069) were not significantly associated with latrine use. The findings revealed that water availability significantly influences latrine use. The availability of water facilitates family members in utilizing latrine facilities for activities such as flushing and maintaining cleanliness. Water availability also contributes to user comfort in maintaining latrine hygiene. Conversely, water scarcity hinders optimal latrine use by family members, potentially reducing utilization levels. The study findings also identified a correlation between latrine ownership and its use. Families are considered critical factors in shaping individual health behavior. The relationship between proper latrine ownership and usage behavior can be seen through the role of education in increasing awareness levels for adopting a healthy and clean lifestyle.
