Background: Most hypertensive patients do not exhibit symptoms, although some symptoms occur unintentionally and are believed to be related to hypertension. This results in an increase in blood pressure with advancing age. Aging causes physiological changes in the body, such as the thickening of arterial walls due to the accumulation of collagen in the muscle layer, leading to the narrowing and stiffening of blood vessels starting at the age of 45 years. Objective: Aims to determine the results of implementing Isometric handgrip exercise in elderly hypertension patients. Method: A descriptive research design with a case study approach was conducted on two respondents. Results: Before the implementation of Isometric handgrip exercise, both respondents were at moderate risk of hypertension, however after performing the Isometric handgrip exercise with two contractions lasting 45 seconds each and a 15-second rest between the contractions, their blood pressure decreased. Conclusion: Isometric handgrip exercise shows a good influence on elderly hypertension patients.

The Social Security Administrative Body is a legal entity in administering social security programs to ensure that all people are able to meet the basic needs of a decent life. The purpose of this research is to analyze the BPJS Kesehatan service system which is capable of anticipating a surge in patients seeking treatment abroad. This study uses a Statute Approach and a conceptual approach using the interview method. Data analysis used qualitative analysis techniques to test the validity of the data in this study by looking for existing reference sources. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the National Social Security System (SJSN) is organized with a Social Insurance mechanism in which each participant is required to pay contributions to provide protection for socio-economic risks that befall participants and/or their family members. The BPJS service arrangement or system is complete by providing basic services and referrals as long as the person is still alive but not for treatment abroad. In the absence of this regulation, it automatically prevents someone from seeking treatment abroad, so they continue to seek treatment at home. The BPJS Kesehatan office in serving patients seeking treatment abroad has not found BPJS patients consulting for treatment abroad.

Diabetes mellitus is a frequently encountered degenerative disease. Indonesia, being one of the most populous countries, experiences a notable increase in the global prevalence of diabetes mellitus. Type 2 diabetes mellitus constitutes the most prevalent form, with approximately 90-95% of diabetics falling into this category. Notably, patient compliance in Indonesia falls short of meeting the recommended glycemia target. The root cause of this non-compliance is linked to a lack of understanding among individuals with diabetes mellitus regarding the purpose of therapy, leading to a lack of awareness about potential complications. This research aims to explore the connection between patient characteristics and adherence to medication in Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at the Tiban Baru Health Center in Batam City. Employing a descriptive correlation approach with a prospective cross-sectional research design, the study utilized purposive sampling, including 92 patients meeting the inclusion criteria. Data collection involved the administration of a compliance questionnaire (MMAS). The study's conclusion reveals a significant association between job characteristics and medication adherence in Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients, evidenced by a p-value of 0.046. Conversely, factors such as gender, age, education, duration of suffering, and comorbidities were not found to be correlated with medication adherence (p-value > 0.05). It is anticipated that healthcare professionals at the Tiban Baru Health Center will impart accurate information to patients, enhancing their awareness of the potential complications associated with diabetes mellitus.

Elderly is a process of experiencing anatomical, physiological and biochemical aging in organ tissues which can affect the state of function and ability of the body as a whole (Fatmah, 2019). In Indonesia, fracture cases are the third largest cause of death under coronary heart disease and tuberculosis. According to data compiled by Wrong Diagnosis (Ropyanto, et al, 2013), Indonesia is the largest country in Southeast Asia that experiences the most fractures of 1.3 million each year out of a population of around 238 million. In postoperative fracture patients, they experience delays in making movements due to muscle weakness and perceived pain (Ningsih, 2019). In an elderly person, it will bring about a complete change in his physique related to a decrease in the ability of the body's tissues, especially in physiological functions in the musculoskeletal system and the neurological system. One of the changes that occur in the elderly is a change in decreased muscle strength, the impact of decreased muscle strength is an increased risk of falling and causes walking to be less stable (Padila, 2020). Purpose: ROM is an exercise used to improve normal joint movement to increase muscle tone. Doing ROM exercises early can increase muscle strength so that it can stimulate more motor units involved, there will be an increase in muscle strength (Anggriani et al., 2020) Method: Using a muscle strength scale instrument.
