Medokan Ayu Village is 3 km from the UPN "Veteran" East Java campus. The location of this service is located in Griya Amerta Housing RW 15, Medokan Ayu Village. Like housing in general, residential land area is usually relatively small, has relatively narrow yards and the distance between houses is also close to each other. So that the area of the yard owned by the community for cultivating crops while developing agriculture is not very supportive. Verticulture or what can be called vertical farming is a system of cultivating plants vertically, so that the planting medium is put in a container that stands and rises up. This cultivation technique can be used in two ways, namely with water and soil as the planting medium. Pakcoy can be harvested when it is 40-50 days old, while curly lettuce can be harvested when it is 40-60 days old. This verticulture cultivation uses a mixture of several planting media such as soil, cocopeat, roasted husks, and kohe. The goal is for the plants to meet their nutritional needs and nutrients, so that the plants can grow optimally and have good quality.

Malnutrition has always been a global problem and is the main cause of child mortality in developing countries. Nutritional status is a measure of success in meeting the nutritional needs of toddlers which can be seen from the achievement of toddler's weight. The short-term effects of malnutrition on toddlers are physical growth disorders in children, metabolic disorders, brain development disorders, and intelligence disorders. In the long term, malnutrition will cause a decrease in learning outcomes and cognitive abilities, decreased immunity, the risk of developing diabetes, heart and blood vessel disease, obesity, stroke, cancer, and disability in old age. To find out about the growth and development of early childhood, especially in relation to the development of early childhood nutritional values, regular measurements of the height and weight of toddlers from an early age are carried out through Posyandu activities. Toddler height and weight data will be grouped according to the nutritional characteristics of each toddler. In this study, infants will be clustered based on their nutritional characteristics using the K-Means algorithm clustering method. Based on the evaluation results, the number of clusters 3 is more optimal than the number of clusters 5 in the toddler dataset used in the study. It is hoped that the research results obtained can serve as a basis or recommendation material for posyandu throughout Indonesia to determine the nutritional status of the under-five age group, so that the handling is more appropriate and can help prevent malnutrition in under-fives.

High microbial contamination in food is an indicator of hygiene that determines the health of food for consumption. Meatballs are a very popular snack in Majene City. Apart from their delicious taste, meatballs also have a relatively cheap price, so they have always been a popular snack alternative. The high nutritional content in meatballs can be a medium for the growth of bacteria so meatballs can be carriers of disease. The aims of this study were to determine the total number of bacterial contaminants and identify the coliform in meatballs at Majene City. The study used a quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 10 traders. The test carried out was culturing bacteria on NA (Nutrient Agar) media to calculate the total number of microbes in meatballs using the Total Plate Count (TPC) method and EMBA (Eosin Methylene Blue Agar) media to determine the presence of coliform bacteria in the sample then continued with gram staining test. The results of the study showed that 3 samples were found on NA media which had microbial contamination levels exceeding the threshold specified in SNI (Indonesian National Standard) 3818:2014 where the highest amount allowed was 1 × 105 cfu/g. Samples that exceeded the threshold namely sample A was 1.33 × 106 cfu/g; sample C was 1.06 × 105 cfu/g; and sample G was 5.8 × 106 cfu/g. There were 5 samples that tested positive for coliform, namely samples A, B, C, D, and G

Anemia is a health problem throughout the world, especially in developing countries where an estimated 30% of the world's population suffers from anemia. In Indonesia, one of the problems faced by adolescents is the problem of micronutrient nutrition, namely around 12% of male adolescents and 23% of female adolescents experience anemia, which is mostly due to iron deficiency (iron deficiency anemia. Anemia in adolescents specifically experienced by female adolescents will have a more serious impact, considering they are prospective mothers who will become pregnant and give birth to a baby, thus increasing the risk of maternal death, premature birth and low birth weight babies (LBW).The government has a routine program related to the distribution of iron tablets for women of childbearing age (WUS ), including adolescents and pregnant women. To support this program requires a good understanding for young women regarding anemia and the importance of blood-supplementing tablets, one of which is providing counseling to students at MTs N 1 Sumbawa with the aim of increasing knowledge about the dangers of anemia and the importance of taking tablets added blood. This community service activity was carried out on May 26 with the result that the knowledge and understanding of students about anemia was getting better, students also knew that taking iron tablets was important. Students are also motivated to meet their nutritional needs and increase adherence in taking iron tablets regularly.

Indonesia is a country with a stunting prevalence that can still be categorized as high with a prevalence rate of 24.4%. Various efforts have been made by the government to be able to overcome the stunting problem that occurs through various policies and regulations as well as through national strategies and interventions. This paper aims to explain the national policies and regulations and strategies used on tackling stunting in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a literature study method where the technique is through library data collection, reading and taking notes, and managing research materials. Indonesia already has a number of national policies and strategies on stunting that are realized in the form of interventions both specific and sensitive. Specific interventions are carried out by the Health sector by focusing on priority goals and important goals, while sensitive interventions are carried out by sectors outside Health where they are carried out to increase access to nutritious food; increase awareness, commitment, and nutrition parenting practices of mothers and children; improve access and quality of nutritional and health services; and improve the provision of clean water and sanitation facilities. Policies and regulations that exist at the central level, must also be followed by follow-up in the regions to the village level and involve not only the health sector but also other related sectors.

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that is a national development priority listed in the 2020-2024 RPJMN. Trends and targets for reducing stunting have progressed but are not yet significant. Of course, several causal factors are still found, so empowerment is needed to accelerate stunting reduction. The main focus in handling stunting is the First 1000 Days of Life (HPK) which is carried out at Posyandu. Cadres who play an important role in driving posyandu are expected to have good knowledge and high motivation in efforts to prevent stunting. The aim of this activity is to empower health cadres and families to increase knowledge about preventing stunting by implementing the Balanced Nutrition Pyramid and Monitoring the Growth and Development of Toddlers. The target of this activity was cadres and families in Bangun Rejo Village, Tanjung Morawa District with a total of 42 participants (21cadres and 21 families). Empowerment activities use the lecture method followed by a question and answer session. The results of the activity showed that 71.4% of cadres and families had good knowledge. One of the principles that must be considered in a balanced diet is food diversity. Children often refuse foods they don't like and only choose foods they like, so they need to be introduced to a variety of foods to optimize the achievement of balanced nutrition. Consumption of a variety of foods in toddlers can guarantee the completeness of the nutrients their bodies need, because each food contains a different source of nutrients, both in type and amount. Sushi is a popular food and easy to make. Sushi and fruit satay have good nutritional content for toddlers. Making sushi and fruit satay aims to provide food choices for toddlers that are nutritious and easy to make. The implementation of the activity was carried out by means of direct demonstrations, participants tried directly to make sushi and fruit satay with the ingredients provided. Participants were very enthusiastic doing the practice of making sushi and fruit satay.
