Indonesia is a disaster-prone area. One of the most common disasters is flooding. Water is one of the important components for human survival. Water has a direct impact on human health. Flood-prone areas are at risk of carrying a disease called water bone disease, especially environmental-based diseases such as diarrhea. The importance of community knowledge and attitudes towards clean water sanitation can reduce the risk of flooding. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge and attitudes of the community towards clean water sanitation in flood-prone areas on Pasar V Medan Tembung Street, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. This research was conducted on May 25 2023, 12.30 WIB until finished. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive research type. Data collection was carried out by interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that 100% of the data obtained from 10 respondents stated that their home environment was prone to flooding which disrupted the quality of clean water from each respondent's house which was prone to flooding, then 10% of the water quality was poor and polluted during floods and 30% of respondents said the water supply was unstable during floods , and 40% of respondents said they experienced diarrhea during floods and 20% of respondents said they experienced itching during floods. The conclusion of this study is that the area prone to flooding on the Tembung V market road, Percut sub-district, Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang district greatly affects the quality of clean water around the place.

Web-based information systems are in high demand in various circles of society, including in the world of non-computer education, where the written examination system commonly used in education often has many obstacles. Factors must also be considered when evaluating written tests, as many participants may avoid writing notes on cards and waste paper and ink to ask and repeat questions, including negative factors in written tests, so this study aims to do so. a database-based online exam system that educational institutions can use to convert existing written exams into an online exam system. Therefore, with the rapid development of information technology, it is necessary to design and build an online examination system based on Data Warehouse to replace the manual written examination system and facilitate the work of the teacher in SMP Negeri 5 Medan. Primary schools enter question data into the system and can minimize the operational costs of passing exams, and the system can also store data more securely in its data warehouse, i.e. teacher information, basic information, student information. subject information, value information and question information. The method is Data Warehouse, software procedures and Waterfall model. The survey respondents were 150 students from SMP Negeri 5 Medan, a total of 150 students. This online exam system was created using PHP programming language, MySQL database and XAMPP web server

Flood is an event of flow or stagnation of water in an area that occurs due to the overflow of water from existing canals exceeding the capacity of water disposal caused by high rainfall and the topographical conditions of the area in the form of lowlands to basins, causing physical, social and economic losses. This type of research is qualitative research because the results of this research were obtained from various data collection techniques such as interviews, document analysis, observation and documentation. The population in this study were residents in Tanjung Rejo Village, Medan Sunggal District. The sample is part of the population that has a quality that can represent the entire population. The sampling process was carried out non-randomly (nonprobability sampling) with a purposive sampling technique, namely the method of taking samples based on certain withdrawals. The criteria referred to in this study are local residents who have been affected by floods.

Indonesian is one of the many dialects of Malay. Therefore, High Malay (Melaka/Riau) is used as the basic language of Indonesia. Even though more than 90% of Indonesians are able to understand and speak the language, most Indonesians do not regard their mother tongue as Indonesian. The most common "Indonesian" idiom is associated with situations where a standard variety of Indonesian is spoken official. The local dialect is the language most commonly used in daily interactions among native speakers. People in the Medan area, like other cities, usually speak a dialect of Indonesian which is called the dialect, and the phonological system has recently undergone some changes. This study aims to analyze and display the system of lexical changes in Indonesian spoken by the people of Medan.This paper uses descriptive-quantitative methodology and generative phonological theory in its preparation. The data for this study came from written sources such as journals and articles about the history of changes in phoneme systems, as well as oral sources such as those written by native speakers of the Medan language. The results of this study indicate that generationally, the people of Medan generally remove or change certain phonemes in the words they speak, such as the a and u phonemes in the word "chaotic" which disappear and become o. in the word "kaco." The word "ask" finally develops into the word "ask" by adding the last word as a phoneme. This indicates that many words in Indonesian have different pronunciations when spoken by the people of Medan, and this will be analyzed and presented in more detail in the following sections.

So that many design problems have arisen in the display booth, the selection of appropriate materials and construction systems so as to answer the need for displays that have many functions (multifunctional), namely as accommodation for clothing display needs that are easy to disassemble (knockdown). In addition, to market their products, this market activity is an alternative to promote their brand, so that it can be known by the wider community. The method used in this design starts from the empathize and define stages starting from data collection, direct observation and interviews, both to tenants and pop-up market organizers. After the data collection stage is complete, the existing data is then analyzed. Then proceed to the ideate stage, through the process of brainstorming ideas, solving a problem, and determining the values ​​of the design. After the ideate stage, proceed to the prototype stage, where the process of visualizing ideas to get the desired results to the manufacturing stage is realized in the form of a prototype with a scale of 1:1. After the prototype is finished, a test is carried out to get feedback from users and refined through the implementation stage to perfect the product. The result of this design is that products that have been designed are oriented to be transformed into various models from the same material, with functions that can accommodate the needs of clothing displays that are still fulfilled in each module. The application of the modular concept is applied with a knockdown system, using a stalbuis pipe consisting of 3 sizes, namely, 40 cm, 21.2 cm, and 20 cm. To connect the stalbuis pipe using uno joker connections, nuts and bolts connections, and inner connections. As a flat cross section using canvas tarpaulin which consists of 2 sizes, namely, 13 cm x 51 cm and 4 cm x 51 cm.

The application of student data management training aims to provide participants with understanding and skills in using Microsoft Excel for student data management. Management of student data is often needed in data management, such as making student report cards every semester at school. The Microsoft Excel application allows for personal and efficient management, by combining data from separate sources into one excel. During the training, participants will be taught the introductory concept of Microsoft Excel, the steps for preparing data, creating value columns in Excel, and merging data into templates. This training will also discuss the benefits of using Microsoft Excel, including time efficiency and accuracy in managing student data to be processed. Through a combination of theory and practical exercises, participants expected to be able to master the steps in the process of managing student data which will be explained using Microsoft Excel. It is hoped that the results of this training will give participants the ability to create personal and efficient student value data, including education and other organizations. Thus, this training contributes to increasing the effectiveness of communication in various activities that involve the process of managing student value data.

This study aims to determine differences instudent learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 18 Medan. The population in this study were all Class XI IPA consisting of five classes. The sample in this study was taken randomly and selected two classes, namely Class XI IPA 1 and class XI IPA 2 was used as the experimental class 1 and 2  with the PBL and DL model. There are two instruments used in this study, namely the test instrument and the non-test instrument. The test instrument for measuring learning outcomes is in the form of multiple choice of 20 valid and reliable questions.. Data were analyzed by independent sample t test. The results showed that for the experimental class 1:  learning outcomes 83.3 ± 7.8. While the experimental class 2:  learning outcomes 76.0 ± 11.01. From the statistical test it was obtained sig for learning outcomes sig (0.001) < α (0.05) H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, as well as the learning outcomes obtained value sig (0.000) < α (0.05) and sig (0.001) < α (0.05) in experimental class 1 and 2 respectively. Thus, it can be concluded that there are significant differences in  learning outcomes.    

The implementation of a realistic mathematical approach to learning the material of Pythagoras's theorem is carried out to encourage students to understand the material through everyday life so that the problems in the classroom gradually end in the secondary school. A realistic mathematical approach is an approach to learning mathematics that involves students to be more active by discussing in solving a problem or issue by connecting to daily life. The subjects in this study were 32 students of class VIII-3 SMP Negeri 2 Medan. This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) consisting of 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting from 2 meetings. after learning on cycle II by performing improvements from cycle I. Improvement is the planning of the student activity sheet that emphasizes the solution of issues with steps or indicators of problem-solving ability, because there are still many students who are not accustomed to the steps to solve problems. As for other improvements, namely planning activities in real life, in the 2nd cycle students solve the real problems of everyday life that students do. The researchers also provide motivation and reinforcement in learning to students to be active in group discussions and presentation of group work results to other groups, so that the interest of students in learning mathematics increases.  

. School as an organization certainly has a culture of organization which becomes an important role in the realization of the vision and mission of school. The culture of school organizations is the norms adopted and implemented by all components to achieve the vision and mission of the school effectively. This study aims to describe the culture of school organizations in SMK Negeri 1 Medan for preparing superior human resources and programs to support  the culture of school. The approach of this study was quantitative observation, interview and documentation were used as the instruments of eliciting the data. The research subjects included elements of school residents, namely the deputy headmaster, teachers, and students. The results of this observation showed that (1) SMK Negeri 1 Medan has three superior cultures namely the culture of discipline, cooperation, and the culture of industrial work, (2)  there are several programs for students in the application of school culture, (3) there are supporting and inhibiting factors for the realization of an effective school organization culture.  According to observations, the culture of school organizations in SMK Negeri 1 Medan can be said to be effective.

This study explains the application of the Takwil verse in surah Taha verse 5 to instill the religiosity of students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra Medan Arabic Language Education Study Program II Stambuk 2020. The type of research in this paper is qualitative research.  Data collection techniques used by way of interviews and also with various sources in the form of books and journals.  The results of this study indicate that what must be instilled and applied in the student environment is that the understanding of surah Taha verse 5 is that Allah exists without a place.  And the value of religiosity found in it is related to the issue of aqidah and about the nature of God which is different from the nature of creatures.

Mengoptimalkan peran serta kayawan dalam hal bekerja secara proaktif dimana dituntt bisa berubah dalam setiap kondisi, punya integritas dan inisiatif, bersinergi satu dengan yang lain serta memiliki sense of belonging yang tinggi dan akhirnya bisa menyatakannya dalam ACTION.

This research is to find out the difficulties faced by students in preparing research proposals for Indonesian language and literature education. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with research subjects being students of the Indonesian language and literature education study program. Data collection methods in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique follows the Miles and Huberman model which includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that many have difficulty defining problems in writing research proposals and formulating the benefits of a research. In some cases the activity proposal text is rejected because the content and objectives in the text are unclear and unconvincing (could be due to structure or written language) which seems not optimal) so that the authorities hesitate to accept it. Student difficulties as illustrated by the results of the questionnaire indicate that students still need to be given more information.

In an era that is increasingly controlled by technology and information, it requires people to always know when sharing information. The mass media is one of the most important means of information in human life. The mass media currently playing a role in presenting information to the wider community is television. The research method used is qualitative research using a descriptive approach so that it emphasizes more on the understanding aspect of a problem. The descriptive approach focuses on the actual problem as it was at the time the research took place. In the pre-production stage, there are several stages, namely field data research, camera, lighting and audio. The production stage of the process of sending signals to various locations simultaneously. This process can be via satellite, radio, television and SNG cars. Lastly, post-production, at this stage the editing process will begin after everything is okay, it will be broadcast every Friday at 10.00 am.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the agricultural sector on the economy in Medan Province. The agricultural sector plays a vital role in the economy of a region, particularly in agrarian areas like Medan Province. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from relevant institutions and statistical agencies. The research method employed is linear regression analysis, using the dependent variable of economic growth in Medan Province and the independent variable of agricultural sector production value. The results of the analysis indicate a positive relationship between the agricultural sector and economic growth in Medan Province. The regression results show that the production value of the agricultural sector contributes significantly to economic growth in the region. This indicates that the development of the agricultural sector has a positive impact on the economy of Medan Province. The study also identifies other factors that can influence the relationship between the agricultural sector and the economy, such as climate factors, government policies, and market factors. The findings of this research can serve as a basis for relevant stakeholders, both the government and industry players, in formulating policies and development strategies for the agricultural sector to enhance economic growth in Medan Province.  

The purpose of this research is to increase understanding of the implementation of inclusive education at SLB Melati Asyiyah, North Sumatra. This research is a quantitative descriptive research method. The research subjects for this study were randomly selected using a sampling technique called purposive sampling. Observations, interviews and documentation all contribute to the data collection methodology. School administration, school boards, special education teachers and students, and parents of students are important members of any special education project. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that the implementation of inclusive education at SLB Melati Asyiyah was successful. This is supported by data verification using standard scoring rubrics, empirical evidence obtained from observations, interviews, and written documentation showing that education administration at SLB Melati Asyiyah in West Sulawesi is divided into the areas of curriculum management, student administration, and finance. management. It is the teacher's responsibility to adapt teaching and student evaluation strategies to the needs of individual students. In addition, faculty management starts with the help of a faculty needs database, recruitment resources, and selection criteria. The international faculty's responsibilities emphasize cooperation and coordination. The management of resources and facilities is carried out through strategic planning which is informed by supply and demand analysis.

This is a qualitative descriptive study with a literature study research method through decision studies sourced from journals of previous research results. The results of the review study show that Meranti's enthusiasts are greatly increasing by around 5% - 10% per year. The marketing techniques carried out by Meranti are improving product quality by innovating, increasing or expanding branches/shopping access (shopeefood, grabfood), making interesting new products so that consumers are interested in trying, increasing the potential of employees to help smooth the selling of Meranti sponge cake.

This study aims to understand the Production Process of the Islamic Pedia Program at Salam TV Jl. Darmo, Ujung Serdang, Kec. Tj. Morawa, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The research method used is a qualitative approach, using 1 informant as sources for data collection. The results obtained from this study are that the production process for the Islam Pedia program on Salam TV has several production stages, namely the pre-production process, the production process and the post-production process. In the pre-production process, the creative team drafted the concept, created the title, created the script, prepared materials starting from pictures and videos. The production stage is searching for photos from Google and videos from YouTube at sources that are trusted to be edited and combined with voice recordings (vo), this is done to support the script that has been written according to the theme being discussed. The post-production stage is uploading videos (media publicity) by the broadcast team (MCR) to YouTube, official Instagram greeting TV and other official websites and conducting evaluations through feedback from the public.

Berdasarkan observasi penilaian kemampuan menulis teks negosiasi di SMAN 10 Medan masih tergolong pada kategori yang kurang, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis teks negosiasi dengan pembelajaran strategi pembelajaran direct writing activity di SMA Negeri 10 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian one group pre test – post test design. Penelitian ini sesuai langkah pembelajaran direct writing activity yang membuat nilai siswa meningkat setelah menggunakan  strategi pembelajaran direct writing activity. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa terdapat 80% siswa memenuhi nilai diatas KKM.

Research showed that environment work and skills Are influential positive, and significant to satisfaction work at PT Jaya Pratama Motorindo. Environmentally comfortable work and employees with high skills work will also be constructive in increasing employee satisfaction.
