This study analyzes speech acts used by students in academic and social interactions. Speech acts are part of pragmatic studies that describe how language is used in everyday communication. This study aims to identify the forms, functions, and differences in the characteristics of speech acts in both contexts. The methods used in this study include observation, interviews, recording, transcription, and literature review by analyzing various relevant literature. The results of the study indicate that in academic interactions, students more often use representative and directive speech acts to convey information and give instructions, while in social interactions, they use more expressive and commissive speech acts to build relationships and express emotions. Factors that influence these differences include the context of the situation, relationships with interlocutors, the influence of media and technology, and cultural background. The conclusion of this study confirms that understanding speech acts is very important in improving the effectiveness of student communication in both academic and social environments. The implications of this study can be used to develop better communication strategies in higher education environments and increase students' awareness of the use of appropriate language in various contexts.

Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a communication technology that plays an important role in improving operational safety and efficiency in the shipping industry. AIS allows ships to exchange real-time data on identity, position, speed, and direction, which helps prevent collisions and facilitates maritime traffic management by port authorities. In addition, AIS functions in search and rescue operations by providing accurate information on the location of ships in trouble. In terms of security, AIS allows monitoring of suspicious ships, thus helping in preventing illegal activities in the waters. This study aims to design and develop a prototype AIS receiver based on LoRa, Arduino, and LCD HMI. The LoRa module was chosen because of its ability to transmit data over long distances with low power consumption, which is suitable for the maritime environment. Arduino is used as the main microcontroller to control the system, while the LCD HMI serves as the display interface for the received data. After the hardware and software design was completed, the system was tested through functional testing and performance measurements using a spectrum analyzer to evaluate the strength of the LoRa signal at various distances. The test results show that the AIS receiver is able to receive data well up to 15 meters on land and 13 meters at sea, with a delay of 100 milliseconds. System performance degrades at longer distances due to environmental interference and signal attenuation. These findings provide insight into the effective limits of LoRa communication in maritime applications and can be used as a reference for frequency testing and optimization of LoRa-based long-range communication systems.

Knee osteoarthritis is a global health issue with increasing prevalence, particularly among the elderly population. This condition is characterized by primary symptoms such as joint pain, stiffness, and reduced physical function, which significantly limit the patient's daily activities. One promising non-pharmacological approach to managing knee osteoarthritis is Home-Based Resistance Training (HBRT). HBRT combines the effectiveness of resistance training with the convenience of being performed at home and is increasingly supported by advancements in telerehabilitation technology. This study is a systematic review conducted based on the PRISMA-P guidelines, with literature searches from PubMed, Scopus, Semantic Scholar, Google Scholar, and Cochrane databases. The included articles were English-language publications from 2019 to 2024 that evaluated the effectiveness of HBRT in patients with knee osteoarthritis. The findings indicate that HBRT is significantly effective in reducing joint pain, with a decrease in WOMAC scores ranging from 24.78% to 29.64% (p < 0.001), and improving physical function by 21.54% to 30.2%. These improvements meet the Minimum Clinically Important Difference (MCID) criteria, indicating clinically significant benefits. Furthermore, the effectiveness of HBRT is comparable to machine-based training, particularly in patients with high baseline severity. With standardized exercise protocols and adequate technological support, HBRT can be considered a feasible and effective intervention strategy in the rehabilitation of knee osteoarthritis patients, especially in the digital era and in contexts where access to conventional healthcare facilities is limited.

The United Nations is an international organization that has very important role in maintaining world peace and security. The United Nations Charter does not provide much explicit regulation regarding Veto rights. the use of the Veto rights is community, and in this research we will discuse the regulations regarding the Veto right and its various relevance in relation to the principle of sovereignty adopted by the United Nations. That basically the regulation of the principles and principle of equality of state sovereignty has been expressly regulated in article 2 paragraph (1) of the UN Charter. The provisions are the basis for carrying out the functions of the UN as an international organization, including the basis for carrying out the functions of its main organ. Therefore, this principle becomes a guide for decision makers in the UN security council until there is no longer any reason to justify the use of the Veto right.

Agraria law is the law that regulates relations between people and land and other people. Sudikno Mertokusumo explained that the law, also known as land law, is the interest of people in other people regarding land. According to Subekti, agrarian law is the totality of legal provisions, whether civil, state administration or state administration law, which also regulates authorities that originate from certain relationships. For information, the basis of agrarian law is regulated in Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning basic regulations on agrarian principles or UUPA. In this agrarian law regulation, there are at least seven principles1. These are: the principle of control by the state, the principle of social function, the principle of customary law, the principle of nationality or nationhood, the principle of limiting land ownership for the sake of the public interest, the principle of general planning and the principle of land preservation. From various literature it is known that the history of the birth of the UUPA tells the long history of the struggle of national figures in reducing the impartiality of land law for the benefit of society at large. In the era of reform, the logical consequences between political existence and interests and legal certainty, especially regarding land issues, have become a trending topic that is interesting to discuss. The complexity of land issues in this country is increasingly increasing and complicated, and is exacerbated by friction between interests that are politically charged. Legal politics consists of a series of words politics and law. (Suderto, et., al 1983) explains that politics is used in various meanings, namely: 2 1. The word polik in Dutch, which means something related to the State 2. Means discussing state issues or those related to the State Furthermore, Sudarto emphasized that the meaning of politics is policy which is a synonym for policy. In this sense, the words economic politics, crime, legal politics and criminal law politics are found. The relationship between politics and law, according to (Mahfud et., al 1998) explains that law is a political product. Law is seen as an independent variable (variable influence) and politics as an independent variable (variable influence). With this assumption, Mahfud formulated the law as: 3 Legal policies that will be or have been implemented nationally by the government also include an understanding of how politics influences the law by looking at the configuration of forces behind the creation and enforcement of the law. Here the law is not only seen as articles that are imperative or mandatory, but must be seen as a sum system which in reality is not impossible, in fact it is not impossible which is very much determined by politics, both in the formulation of material and articles and in implementing them.
