This research explores the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and mental health among high school students at Saraswati 1 Denpasar High School, Bali. Employing a cross-sectional quantitative approach, the study assessed FoMO levels using the FoMO Scale by Przybylski et al., and mental health aspects—depression, anxiety, and stress—using the DASS-21 scale. A total of 236 students, selected through convenience sampling, participated in the study, with data analyzed using descriptive and correlation tests. The findings indicate that 40.7% of students experienced moderate levels of FoMO, while significant proportions reported severe or very severe anxiety (38.1%) and stress (37.3%). Correlation analyses using Spearman and Pearson tests revealed positive and significant relationships between FoMO and depression (r = 0.322, p < 0.01), anxiety (r = 0.361, p < 0.01), and stress (r = 0.404, p < 0.01). These results emphasize the influence of excessive social media use on adolescents' mental health, highlighting the importance of interventions like counseling and educational programs to address FoMO's psychological effects. This study highlights the importance of implementing human relations principles in creating a harmonious and productive work environment. Open communication, empathy, and constructive conflict management were found to be key factors in building positive work relationships between employees and managers. Employees who feel valued and listened to tend to be more engaged in their work, increasing motivation and morale, which ultimately impacts the performance of the team and the organization as a whole. In addition, effective conflict management can strengthen interpersonal relationships and create a work atmosphere that is more conducive to collaboration and innovation. This study also shows that poorly managed conflict can damage work relationships and reduce productivity. In such situations, a tense work environment can lower employee morale, increase turnover rates, and hinder the achievement of organizational goals. Therefore, organizations need to actively develop strategies that support clear and effective communication, as well as pay attention to employee emotional well-being. Building an inclusive work culture and providing constructive conflict resolution mechanisms are essential to maintaining the stability and sustainability of productivity in the long term.

The fast-paced growth of digital technology and online communication has transformed how people connect, share information, and build communities. Among the many social media platforms, TikTok stands out for its ability to create dynamic and interactive engagement through short-form videos and live streaming features. This study explores how the retail brand OH! SOME uses communication strategies on TikTok to foster meaningful interaction with its audience. Drawing on Chriss Fill’s (1995) three-stage communication framework—Pull, Push, and Profile Strategies—the research examines how these approaches are implemented across OH! SOME’s beauty, makeup, and skincare accounts. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, combining in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation with three key participant roles: the operator, live streaming assistants, and hosts. The findings reveal that OH! SOME’s communication success on TikTok relies on its ability to integrate creative content with real-time interaction. The Pull Strategy attracts audiences through engaging visuals and relatable messages; the Push Strategy emphasizes teamwork and consistent interaction during live sessions; and the Profile Strategy strengthens brand image and trust among followers. Overall, the study highlights how classical communication theories can be adapted to the dynamics of digital marketing. It provides both conceptual and practical insights for brands seeking to build audience relationships in the era of social commerce. The results also underline TikTok’s potential not merely as a sales tool but as a space for creating community, authenticity, and emotional connection with consumers.
