Vandalism is closely related to social problems in general (social panthology), the causes of which can occur due to economic, political, or even smaller scope factors, namely the family. The subjects of this vandalism are all people involved in the culture of destruction, destruction carried out together by a group or individual. Their targets are usually in general public spaces such as bus stops, traffic signs, highway signs, walls, and so on. In Indonesia vandalime is considered a form of activity that is often ignored by society because it is considered a form of petty mischief that has little impact on life. However, vandalism is a serious problem , if it is not handled quickly and appropriately it will become a big problem. The problem in this research regarding law enforcement against acts of vandalism is that there are still things that deviate from the law , for example the absence of complete assignment letters when carrying out investigations. The aim of this research is to determine a series of acts of vandalism. The method used in this research is an empirical juridical method, namely a case study of vandalism in the jurisdiction of the Medan Police.

This research discusses how to enforce the law against criminal acts of theft. This research is a case study research using a normative juridical approach. The normative juridical approach is a method of research carried out by studying the main legal materials such as theories, concepts, legal principles and statutory regulations related to this research. The results of the research show that the acts of theft that occurred have been carried out repeatedly so that this criminal act is a recidivist crime. The Criminal Code has regulated it and must be carried out by law enforcers who implement these regulations, as an embodiment of what is regulated in the Criminal Code. In efforts to enforce the law against criminal acts of theft, especially recidivism, it is necessary to implement the things that have been included in the statutory regulations, so that a sense of security, comfort and peace can be created in the environment and relationships within the family and social community. There are several factors that influence these crimes, including internal factors, external factors and economic factors.

This article is entitled "Observation of PPKn Learning Methods at SMP Negeri 35 Medan". This article aims to find out the difficulties or problems faced by teachers in PPKn learning at SMP Negeri 35 Medan and look for methods or strategies that can be used to overcome these problems. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. Difficulties faced by teachers in learning include lack of facilities, differences in student backgrounds, lack of student interest and motivation, as well as lack of parental guidance and lack of economic support for students' families. Solutions implemented by teachers include a closer approach, special attention, additional lesson hours, and home tutoring. This article also provides suggestions for improvement and further research.  

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the teaching style of Civics Teachers at SMP N 35 Medan and to find out what facilities the teacher uses when teaching in class.This research method is to use a descriptive qualitative method using a field study approach. The results of this research show that the PPKn teachers at the school use an interactional teaching style and the learning facilities used are quite simple, such as the use of blackboards, study tables and PPKn package books.The conclusion is that the teacher has taught according to the RPP that has been prepared and he teaches well and with quality.

This community service activity is based on an understanding of the importance of religious education and the formation of a Qur'anic generation from an early age. Reading and memorizing the Qur'an is an effective method to ensure that the younger generation has a strong understanding and deep connection with the holy book of Islam. In addition, it also helps to form individuals who are committed to religious teachings and have good morality This activity was conducted in several stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The preparation stage included observations and interviews to identify the problems faced. The results of the observation showed that the management of Markaz Talaqqi Al Athfal had difficulty in encouraging the interest and participation of children in Pasar I, Jl. Setia Budi, Tj. Sari, Kec. Medan Selayang, Medan City, North Sumatra to read the Qur'an. To overcome this challenge, efforts were made to increase the interest and participation of children in the Markaz Talaqqi Al Athfal, totaling 22 people. This was realized through the implementation of outbound activities and giving rewards to children, with the aim of increasing their enthusiasm in learning the Qur'an. Evaluation was carried out after the activity was completed, and the results showed that the children at Markaz Talaqqi Al Athfal were very enthusiastic in participating in each activity. This enthusiasm can be seen from the participation and interest in learning the Quran which is increasing day by day. The children's parents also feel helped and happy to see the children's participation in the activities.

This research is entitled "Observation of Civics Learning Methods at SMP Negeri 35 Medan". This research was carried out with the aim of finding out how and what methods, strategies and innovations can be used to overcome problems in conducting Civics Learning as well as examining the problems faced by teachers in SMP 35 Medan in conducting PPKn learning. This research is useful as a developer of scientific insight regarding teaching and learning strategies implemented by citizenship education teachers at SMP Negeri 35 Medan Jl. William Iskandar New Memories, District. Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.  

This research aims to explore the influence of two types of text, namely academic and non-academic, on student understanding in the learning context. Involving Medan State University (UNIMED) students, this research used a Google Form questionnaire as a data collection tool. The research results show that the use of non-academic texts can increase student interest and involvement, while the combination of academic and non-academic texts is considered effective for broadening insight and understanding of learning material. The conclusions of this study highlight the importance of flexibility in learning approaches, emphasizing that a diversity of text types is key to achieving effective education.

This obligation was apparently not carried out by the Dimsum 1000 franchise, where all obligations to provide marketing knowledge were not carried out by the franchise. In writing this essay, the author formulates a problem in the form of how to implement the Dimsum 1000 franchise business in Medan District, Medan City? How do franchisors fulfill their rights and obligations in developing the Dimsum 1000 franchise business in Medan District, Medan City? How do you fulfill the rights and obligations of the Dimsum 1000 franchise business from Wahbah Az-Zuhaili's perspective in Medan District, Medan City? In this research the author uses empirical legal research. The results of the research explain that the implementation of the Dimsum 1000 franchise business in Medan District, Medan City, goes through a business cooperation agreement procedure first. Then all the equipment for selling is provided by Dimsum 1000. However, in the marketing strategy Dimsum 1000 is considered old-fashioned and out of date. Fulfillment of the franchisor's rights and obligations in developing the Dimsum 1000 franchise business in Medan City District. Medan City does not fulfill the franchisee's rights in the form of guidance in the form of training, management operational guidance, marketing, research and development for franchisees on an ongoing basis. Fulfillment the rights and obligations of the Dimsum 1000 franchise business from Wahbah Az-Zuhaili's perspective in Medan City District, Medan City, did not happen at all. Dimsum 1000 franchise practices viewed from Wahbah Az-Zuhaili's perspective are not in accordance with the fulfillment of the concept of rights applied in Wahbah Az-Zuhaili's own view. This can be seen from not providing guidance in the form of training, operational management guidance, marketing, research and development to franchisees on an ongoing basis, which violates the rights of the franchisees themselves.

Kartika Muda Orphanage, is one of the children's orphanages in Medan City, North Sumatra, located at Jalan Sunan Kalijaga/ Ampera Manunggal Pasar 6. Kartika Muda Orphanage has 25 children with an age range of 6 - 15 years. The aim of this service is to improve the financial literacy skills of the children of the Kartika Youth Orphanage through an introduction to money and its functions, an introduction to financial institutions and the concept of saving. In this service, the PKM Team found that the children of the Kartika Youth Orphanage did not know how to manage their finances well and did not have awareness of the importance of saving.

This research aims to describe facts in the field regarding the role, implementation, and factors that influence the application of Pancasila values for students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Meanwhile, the data collection technique used in this research is a questionnaire. The results of this research show that the role of students in implementing Pancasila values is by having high tolerance, being active in social activities, having integrity as leaders based on Pancasila values, supporting the process of collective deliberation and decision making, and having a conscience. and put it into real action. Based on the results of a questionnaire conducted on Medan State University students regarding the implementation of one of the values contained in Pancasila, namely an attitude of tolerance towards cultural, ethnic and religious differences, the results showed that the majority of students had instilled and implemented it well. Meanwhile, the small number who do not understand and implement this attitude of tolerance may be caused by several internal and external aspects or factors.

Introduction: Primigravida pregnant women are women who are pregnant for the first time. This first pregnancy causes discomfort during pregnancy that the pregnant mother can feel. Objective:  to determine the relationship between midwives' emotional support and the level of anxiety of primigravida mothers in the 1st stage of the process at Imelda Hospital in Medan. Materials and Methods: This research uses quantitative methods with bivariate test analysis and discrete statistics. Results: This study aims to determine the relationship between midwives' emotional support and the level of anxiety of primigravida mothers during the 1st stage. The total research sample was 40 respondents. The results of the analysis of the relationship between midwives' emotional support and the level of anxiety of primigravida mothers. 23 people (23%) did not receive support from midwives. The majority of the anxiety levels faced by pregnant women during the first stage of the process were moderately anxious, 22 people (55%). Conclusion: The characteristics of pregnant women respondents at RSU IPI showed that 28 people aged 21-30 years (70%) had high school education (28 people) (70%) did not receive support from a midwife as many as 23 people (23%) The level of anxiety faced by pregnant women During the first stage of the process, the majority had moderate anxiety, 22 people (55%). Emotional support and the level of anxiety showed that the majority who did not receive support experienced severe anxiety, namely 15 people. Those who received support only experienced moderate anxiety, 14 people.

The purpose of this study was to explain the choreography of Sumatran Rancak Dance at Sanggar Silodang Production Kota Padang. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods of analysis. This research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data were collected through literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that the choreography process carried out by choreographers has stages such as ideas / themes, exploration, improvisation, and composition. So from the process carried out by the choreographer produces the following aspects of form: motion, space design, time design, power design, upper design, dramatic design, floor design, group composition, equipment, and music. Sumatran Rancak dance has several types of movements consisting of movement developments from the regions of Aceh, Medan, Riau, and West Sumatra which are worked on by choreographers with the concept of entertainment. The costumes used have been created and modified using bludru brackets, metered songket, shoulder tokah, shoulder scarves, belts, and complete accessories for female dancers. As for male dancers, they wear satin, galembong, batik deta, and silodang cloth. Sumatran Rancak dance uses the plate property at the end of this dance with a plate size of 5.

This research aims to indetify the influence of age (X1), education (X2), skills (X3) on labor absorption in the city of medan according to an Islamic perspective. The type of research carried out is quantitative, the data source is primary. The methode used to collect data was by distributing questionnaire statements to the people of Medan city using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of respondents aged 15-64 years, with a sample size of 100 respondents. Then the data obtained was processed using SPSS. The data analysis technique used in this research is instrument testing, classical assumption testing. The results of this research state that the t test shows that age has a significant effect on labor absorption, skills have a significant effect on labor absorption.      

This study aims to explore the role of scientific articles in the development of insight and critical thinking of students at Medan State University. The research method used a survey with 20 respondents. The results show that scientific articles are effective in deepening students' understanding and critical thinking skills. Despite challenges such as language comprehension, scientific articles remain a valuable tool in higher education, supporting students' preparation for a complex future.

The widespread use of standard and non-standard languages ​​among society is very problematic. Many members of society, especially students or the millennial generation, make mistakes in pronouncing it incorrectly. This research method uses qualitative or descriptive methods. It is hoped that using this method will provide an overview of the use of standard and non-standard language among the millennial generation in the city of Medan. The data sources obtained are based on research results and journal literature studies. The data collection technique used was in the form of randomly distributing questionnaires to the millennial generation. Based on the results of the questionnaire obtained from the younger generation in the city of Medan as many as 34 respondents, it can be explained that the results obtained were 8 respondents or 23.5% who chose the frequent option and 26 respondents or 76.5% of the total respondents chose the infrequent option , this proves that there are still many millennial generations who are reluctant to use standard language in their daily conversations. Millennials also tend to predominantly use non-standard languages ​​compared to standard languages.  

This study aims to determine the measurement of the financial performance of the Regional Government of Medan City using value for money at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Medan City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach method. Data collection techniques in this study are in the form of interview techniques and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the study obtained namely, The Financial Performance of the Medan City Government as measured by the economic ratio from 2017-2021 can be said to be economical because based on the economic ratio calculated for 5 years, the overall average is 77%, which is included in the economic category because the economic ratio level is less than 100%. In terms of efficiency, from 2017-2021, the overall average is 95%, which is included in the efficient category because the efficiency ratio level is less than 100%. And in terms of effectiveness from 2017 – 2021, the overall average is 85%, which is included in the ineffective category because the effective ratio level is still below 100%.

: The quality of human resources is one of the factors for increasing the productivity and performance of a company. One of the goals of improving the quality of human resources is to ensure that the organization/company has quality people to achieve organizational goals. As one of the main drivers in the smooth running of a company's activities, the important role of human resources requires every company to pay attention to and motivate its employees to provide good performance. The research method used is an associative method with a quantitative approach, which can be interpreted as a research statement that asks about the relationship between two or more variables. The population in this study were 33 employees who worked at the Medan Plantation Company. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire. Based on the results of partial hypothesis testing, the results showed that each compensation and job satisfaction variable had a partial effect on employee performance. The results of the simultaneous testing resulted in an F-count value of 8,472 with a significance level of 0.000, while the f-table value at alpha 5% was 3.32, therefore based on the calculation results it was concluded that F-count > F-table and the significance level was 0.001 < 0.05 shows that compensation and job satisfaction together have a positive and significant influence on employee performance in Plantation Companies. The results of testing the coefficient of determination (R2), obtained an R-Square value of 0.361, this means that 36.1% of the variation in employee performance values ​​is determined by the role of variations in compensation values ​​and job satisfaction so it can be concluded that the contribution of compensation values ​​and job satisfaction in influencing employee performance was 36.1% while 63.9% was the contribution of other variables not included in this research.

This research focuses on the problem of distributing goods at PT. The Medan Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) route with the destination delivery address in the Medan area. The Cheapest Insertion Heuristic Algorithm is an algorithm used to form tours (travels) by gradually building the shortest path route with minimal weight, by adding new points one at a time. One. The Nearest Neighbor Algorithm is a simple and fast algorithm to build a feasible initial tour length from TSP where the technique takes the shortest distance from the initial position regardless of other distances. This study resulted in the conclusion that the application of the cheapest insertion heuristic and nearest neighbor algorithms in terms of finding the distance to the problem of shipping goods at PT. The Medan Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) route starts with finding the distance between addresses with the help of google maps, then continues with the help of the WinQSB software. Based on the research results obtained using the cheapest insertion heuristic and nearest neighbor algorithms, it is obtained that the search for the shortest route distance for shipping goods at PT. The smaller Medan Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) route is generated by the nearest neighbor algorithm. This shows that the nearest neighbor algorithm is more effective in terms of finding the traveling distance on the Traveling Salesman Problem problem of shipping goods at PT. Medan's Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) Line.

Antrian adalah fenomena atau kejadian yang sering dijumpai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Antrian yang sangat panjang dapat merugikan pihak yang membutuhkan pelayanan jika tidak dilayani dengan cepat, karena banyaknya waktu yang digunakan  terbuang selama menunggu giliran pelayanan. PT. Bank Sumut Kantor Pusat Medan merupakan salah satu bank daerah yang sumber dananya berasal dari simpanan masyarakat. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui model sistem antrian serta menemukan alternatif untuk mengoptimalkan sistem pelayanan pada PT. Bank Sumut Kantor Pusat Medan. Sistem antrian teller yang diterapkan oleh bank ini adalah sistem antrian yang terdapat lebih dari satu jenis layanan yang diberikan, tetapi dalam setiap jenis layanan hanya terdapat satu pemberi layanan dengan memberi nomor antrian atau yang sering disebut Multi Channel Single Phase. Disiplin antrian yang digunakan pada bank ini yaitu  first come first served (FCFS). Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, model antrian yang diperoleh adalah  yang berarti bahwa tingkat kedatangan nasabah berdistribusi Poisson, waktu pelayanan nasabah berdistribusi Eksponensial, jumlah server sebanyak empat, disiplin antrian adalah First Come First Serve (FCFS), jumlah nasabah yang masuk dalam sistem tidak terhingga dan ukuran populasi masuk tidak terhingga. Dengan dilakukannya evaluasi terhadap kinerja teller dapat membantu mengoptimalkan antrian yang terjadi pada PT. Bank Sumut Kantor Pusat Medan. Selain itu, Bank juga dapat menerapkan standar waktu pelayanan dan standar waktu tunggu nasabah.

The purpose of this study was to determine the Analysis of the Role of Amil Zakat Hidayatullah City of Medan in Improving Small and Medium Enterprises for Mustahik This study uses a qualitative research method. The research method used is in-depth interviews on research subjects, observation and documentation. As for the research location, namely the Amil Zakat Hidayatullah Institute, Medan City, the data collection used in this study was Interview, Observation, Documentation The data analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis, where the aim of this analysis is to describe systematically, factually and accurately the facts and the relationship between the phenomena being investigated. The results of the role of amil zakat Baitul Maal Hidaytullah in utilizing zakat through the Indonesian cart and mosque program by increasing SMEs in the city of Medan have yielded quite good results. Given that programs or activities to improve SMEs to the community will provide more ways or opportunities and knowledge to them, not provide fish or money as working capital.
