This study examines the role and challenges of evidence management in the criminal justice system in Indonesia, focusing on issues such as damage, loss, and inconsistency of evidence, which can significantly impact the evidentiary process and the outcome of criminal trials. Effective evidence management is crucial in ensuring the integrity of the legal process and upholding justice. The study employs a normative legal approach using statutory and conceptual methods to analyze the legal provisions that govern the confiscation, storage, and handling of evidence, specifically referring to Article 39 of the Indonesian Criminal Procedure Code. This article sets forth the procedures for evidence confiscation by law enforcement authorities and outlines their responsibilities in maintaining and presenting the evidence in court. A major concern in the management of evidence is the potential damage or loss of evidence during the investigation or trial stages. Such issues undermine the validity of the evidence and can lead to unjust verdicts, affecting the principle of fairness in the criminal justice process. Additionally, inconsistencies in how evidence is handled, including mislabeling or failure to maintain chain-of-custody records, can raise doubts about the authenticity of the evidence and erode public trust in the legal system. This study highlights how these problems directly impact the judicial outcomes and the overall credibility of the justice system in Indonesia. Furthermore, this study discusses the challenges faced by law enforcement agencies and legal professionals in returning evidence that does not conform to its original condition. The return of damaged or improperly handled evidence not only violates the principle of justice but also affects the accused's right to a fair trial.

The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) represents a major advancement in health information systems, playing a vital role in improving service efficiency, data security, and the quality of medical documentation. This study utilizes a literature review approach to assess EMR implementation in hospitals by analyzing findings from 20 relevant journals. Literature sources were obtained from indexed national scientific publications, with a focus on the benefits, challenges, and critical success factors of EMR adoption. The results reveal that EMR use can enhance service efficiency by up to 40%, expedite medical decision-making, and increase the accuracy of patient data. Additionally, EMR reduces the risk of data loss, facilitates coordination among healthcare professionals, and supports more effective integration of medical information. Despite these benefits, EMR implementation encounters several challenges, such as inadequate technological infrastructure, resistance from some healthcare personnel toward digital systems, and the need for ongoing training to ensure optimal use. If not addressed properly, these barriers may limit the system’s effectiveness. Key factors influencing successful implementation include strong management commitment, early involvement of end-users during the planning phase, and system flexibility to meet specific clinical requirements. Therefore, EMR implementation should adopt a holistic approach that integrates human resource readiness, technological capacity, and clear regulatory frameworks. With well-structured strategies, consistent institutional support, and comprehensive training programs, EMR has the potential to be a driving force in the digital transformation of healthcare. This transformation can lead to sustainable improvements in service quality, patient data security, and operational efficiency in hospital settings.

Divorce has a significant impact on a child's psychological and social development, particularly in the aspect of determining custody rights, which should prioritize the principle of the child's best interests. This study aims to analyze the balance between Islamic legal norms as stipulated in the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) and positive law in Indonesia, in cases where children under the age of 12 express a desire to live with their father after the divorce. The research approach used is a juridical-normative with a qualitative analysis method that focuses on a literature review of laws and regulations such as the KHI, the Marriage Law, the Child Protection Law, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, as well as relevant legal and jurisprudential literature. The results of the study indicate that although normatively the KHI prioritizes the mother as the caregiver of children under 12 years old, there is room for flexibility that allows the court to consider the child's wishes if it better ensures the child's welfare and safety. This approach is supported by the principle of maslahah mursalah in Islamic law, which allows adjustments for the benefit of the child. The main challenges in its implementation include the minimal involvement of professionals such as child psychologists in the evaluation process, the existence of gender stereotypes that influence judges' decisions, and emotional conflicts between parents that often override the interests of the child. Therefore, this study recommends that judicial institutions actively involve psychologists and mediators in custody proceedings, improve training for judges in understanding the psychosocial dynamics of children, and update legal guidelines so that children's wishes can be assessed objectively. Furthermore, education to the wider public about the importance of gender non-discrimination in child care is also needed so that custody decisions truly reflect the principles of comprehensive child protection and welfare.

Cardiac arrest is a critical medical emergency with a high mortality rate that requires immediate and appropriate action to increase the chances of survival. One key factor in improving survival outcomes is the involvement of bystanders, particularly young people, in providing Basic Life Support (BLS). This community service activity was carried out to improve the knowledge and practical skills of youth organization members (Karang Taruna) in Kota Bambu Subdistrict, West Jakarta, in recognizing and responding to cardiac arrest using BLS procedures. The activity adopted the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) approach. The planning stage involved the preparation of materials and training tools for both theoretical and practical learning. The implementation phase included a 45-minute health education session covering the basics of BLS, especially cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), followed by hands-on training. Participants were divided into small groups and guided through practical CPR simulations using manikins, facilitated by six trained nursing students. The activity was conducted on June 14, 2025, and attended by 57 participants, with 27 actively participating in the CPR practice session. The evaluation stage revealed a notable increase in the participants’ understanding and ability to perform CPR effectively. This indicates that community-based BLS training can be a powerful tool in improving emergency response at the grassroots level. In addition to raising awareness, the activity also empowered the youth as first responders in their community, strengthening their role in emergency preparedness and response. The follow-up stage emphasized the importance of sustainability through continued collaboration between local health professionals and community organizations. In conclusion, BLS education and training programs for youth can significantly enhance community resilience and are recommended for broader implementation in other regions.

Nursing care documentation plays a crucial role in nursing practice as it serves as legal evidence, a means of communication between healthcare professionals, and an indicator of service quality. However, nurses' compliance with documentation often faces various obstacles. Supervision by nursing managers is seen as an important strategy to ensure documentation implementation complies with applicable standards. This study aims to analyze the relationship between supervision and nursing care documentation at RSI NU Demak. The study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. A sample of 83 inpatient nurses was selected through proportional random sampling from a population of 107 nurses. The research instruments were a supervision questionnaire (17 items) and nursing documentation (20 items) whose validity and reliability have been tested. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of p<0.05. The results showed that the majority of respondents were aged <30 years (53%), were female (89.2%), had a Diploma 3 Nursing degree (51.8%), and had worked for <9 years (53%). Good supervision was found in 60.2% of respondents, while good documentation was found in 59.0%. The Chi-Square test results yielded a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05) with a correlation coefficient of r=0.981, indicating a very strong relationship between supervision and nursing documentation. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between supervision and nursing care documentation, where the better the supervision provided, the higher the quality of the documentation produced. The results of this study reinforce the importance of the managerial role in improving the quality of nursing services, especially in terms of care documentation. Effective supervision not only functions as a control tool but also becomes a means of developing and strengthening nurses' competencies in meeting nursing practice standards. With structured and continuous supervision, nurses tend to be more disciplined, accurate, and consistent in documenting every nursing intervention they perform.

This paper examines euthanasia from ethical, theological, legal, and human rights perspectives, focusing specifically on the Christian faith. Euthanasia, defined as the intentional termination of life to avoid physical suffering, raises significant moral and legal dilemmas. This study applies a qualitative method through literature review to explore expert opinions, Indonesian legal provisions, and theological foundations based on the Bible. The findings indicate that euthanasia contradicts the core principles of Christian ethics, Indonesian positive law, and human rights values that uphold the right to life. From a Christian worldview, life is a divine gift and should not be ended by human will. Suffering is understood as part of a spiritual journey that carries redemptive meaning. Furthermore, euthanasia presents complex implications not only for the individual undergoing the act but also for families, religious communities, and healthcare professionals. In Christian ethics, life and death are matters of divine sovereignty, and human agency in ending life is considered a violation of God's authority. The legal stance in Indonesia, as reflected in national laws and regulations, clearly prohibits any form of euthanasia, emphasizing the protection of human life as a constitutional right. From a human rights viewpoint, although autonomy is important, it must be balanced with the principle of preserving life. This study suggests that interdisciplinary dialogue involving theology, law, bioethics, and pastoral care is urgently needed to build awareness and offer compassionate responses to end-of-life issues. Churches, educators, and policymakers are encouraged to develop ethical guidelines and pastoral counseling approaches rooted in biblical truth and legal integrity. A wise and faithful response to the problem of euthanasia requires not only empathy but also a clear commitment to uphold the sanctity of life.

Osteoporosis is a metabolic bone disorder characterized by decreased bone density, resulting in brittle, porous, and easily broken bones. This condition is more common in the elderly, especially women over 60 years of age, due to hormonal changes, the aging process, and lifestyle factors. Common clinical manifestations experienced by sufferers include back pain that can interfere with daily activities and reduce quality of life. Osteoporosis treatment does not only rely on pharmacological therapy, but can also be done through non-pharmacological therapies such as progressive muscle relaxation techniques that aim to reduce muscle tension and pain perception. This study aims to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation techniques on pain reduction in elderly osteoporosis sufferers in Bangun Rejo Village, Tanjung Morawa District, North Sumatra Province. The research method used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test post-test control group design. The study involved 28 elderly respondents who met the inclusion criteria, divided into two groups: an experimental group that received progressive muscle relaxation intervention and a control group that did not receive intervention. The intervention was carried out in a structured manner according to standard procedures throughout the study period. Pain levels were measured using a numeric pain scale before and after treatment. Data analysis showed a significant reduction in pain levels in the experimental group compared to the control group, with a p-value of 0.040. These results indicate that progressive muscle relaxation techniques are effective as a non-pharmacological method for reducing pain in elderly people with osteoporosis. The findings of this study are expected to provide input for healthcare professionals, particularly nurses, in developing simple, safe, and affordable interventions to improve the quality of life of elderly people with osteoporosis, as well as encourage the routine implementation of this therapy in primary and community healthcare settings.

One of the vulnerable groups facing the double burden of malnutrition is children living in Child Social Welfare Institutions (LKSA), such as the LKSA Christian Orphanage Foundation in Malang City. This LKSA holds a C-level accreditation status, indicating limited resources and inadequate facilities to support children's well-being. Preliminary research revealed that many children are unaware of their nutritional status and have not received regular health check-ups or nutritional monitoring. To address this issue, the GAES Program (Grow And Eat Smart) was developed with the goal of increasing awareness about the double burden of malnutrition and enhancing education on the importance of regular nutritional status monitoring for children. The GAES Program consists of three main activities: distribution of nutritional measurement tools (scales and height measuring instruments), education on the importance of routine nutritional monitoring, and training in anthropometric screening techniques. The program's results showed that out of the 13 participating children, 7 children (54%) were identified as undernourished, while 6 children (46%) had good nutritional status. In addition, all participants successfully understood the educational material delivered during the sessions and were able to perform anthropometric measurements independently as an initial step in screening their nutritional status. Through this initiative, it is expected that both the children and the LKSA management will become more aware of the importance of regular nutritional monitoring and take early preventive actions. Furthermore, health professionals and local health centers (Puskesmas) are encouraged to provide continuous support and interventions at the LKSA to improve the nutritional status of children and adolescents. Such efforts are essential to prevent the long-term health impacts of the double burden of malnutrition and to ensure a healthier future for children living in social welfare institutions.

Infant growth and development are crucial issues that require serious attention, particularly during the early childhood phase, which is crucial for a child's future development. The golden age of infants is the most sensitive period to various forms of stimulation that influence their motor, sensory, cognitive, and emotional development. However, not all parents, especially mothers, fully understand the importance of appropriate and safe stimulation in supporting infant growth and development. One form of stimulation that is relatively easy to perform, has no side effects, and can be applied independently at home is gentle touch therapy. Gentle Touch Therapy is a complementary therapy method that involves gentle, affectionate touch on the baby's body, aimed at stimulating the nervous system, strengthening the emotional bond between mother and child, and increasing comfort and relaxation in the baby. Several studies have shown that this gentle touch can improve sleep quality, accelerate weight gain, relieve stress, and encourage infant neuromotor and socio-emotional development. This community service activity was carried out as an effort to increase mothers' awareness and skills in providing stimulation through gentle touch. The activity was carried out at the Andina Independent Midwife Practice (PMB), Palembang City, in June 2025. The main target of this activity was mothers with babies aged 0–12 months. The implementation method included providing education through interactive lectures, demonstrations of touch therapy techniques by health professionals, and direct practice by mothers accompanied by facilitators. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in mothers' understanding of the importance of growth and development stimulation, especially through gentle touch therapy. The participants showed high enthusiasm in participating in the activity and were able to practice gentle touch techniques correctly and confidently.

Volleyball underhand passing training is a process of coaching and developing volleyball players' skills through physical, technical, tactical, and mental exercises to improve performance in the game. This training can be conducted at various levels, from beginners to professionals, and covers several important aspects that support the improvement of basic skills. One of the basic techniques that must be mastered by players, especially in adolescence, is the underhand pass. This technique is the main foundation for controlling the ball and maintaining the continuity of the game. However, based on the results of initial observations on Ahmad Yani High School students, it was found that students' underhand passing ability is still relatively low. As many as 85% of students scored below average, indicating that they have difficulty mastering this basic technique. This problem presents a challenge in physical education learning, especially in volleyball. One contributing factor is the lack of variety and creativity in the teaching methods used by teachers, resulting in a lack of student motivation. This study aims to apply the VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) method in volleyball underhand passing training. The VAK method is a learning approach that combines three main learning styles: visual (sight), auditory (hearing), and kinesthetic (movement). This approach is believed to help students understand techniques more comprehensively, tailored to their individual learning styles. Integrating the VAK method into the training process is expected to significantly improve student learning outcomes, particularly in mastering volleyball underhand passing techniques. This research also aims to provide alternative, more innovative and effective learning strategies for physical education teachers in schools.
