The study aims to analyze in greater depth the influence of work motivation and employee loyalty on employee performance at PT ABC. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design intended to systematically explain the relationships among variables. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires using a Likert scale (1–5) to employees with a minimum of one year of tenure, as they are considered to have an adequate understanding of organizational conditions. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software to obtain more accurate and comprehensive results. The findings indicate that all research indicators have met the established validity and reliability criteria. The structural model test shows that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β = 0.207; p = 0.007), and employee loyalty also has a positive and significant effect (β = 0.718; p = 0.000). The R-square value of 0.753 indicates that both variables are able to explain 75.3% of the variation in employee performance. These findings emphasize that work motivation and employee loyalty play important roles in improving performance, with loyalty being the most dominant factor influencing employee performance.

High dependence on the United States Dollar (USD) in international transactions has long been a challenge for economic stability in the Southeast Asian region, especially amidst global exchange rate fluctuations and geopolitical tensions. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Local Currency Settlement (LCS) cooperation in supporting intra-ASEAN trade stability. The main focus of this study is how local currency mechanisms can mitigate exchange rate risks and strengthen regional economic integration as part of a de-dollarization strategy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach, relying on secondary data from central bank reports, ASEAN policy documents, and relevant academic literature. The results show that the implementation of the LCS framework, particularly in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, has provided more efficient transaction alternatives by reducing double conversion costs. However, its effectiveness still faces challenges such as low awareness among business actors, limited local currency liquidity compared to the USD, and the need for broader cross-border digital payment system integration. These findings imply the need for strengthened synergy between central banks in the ASEAN region and increased literacy for the private sector so that the economic stability benefits of LCS can be optimally achieved. This strategy not only strengthens monetary sovereignty but also encourages a more resilient ASEAN economic integration against external shocks.

This study aims to analyze the workload of sewing operators within a single production line and to equalize the workload using the line balancing method at PT. Pan Brothers. The garment industry requires high production efficiency; therefore, balanced workload distribution among operators is necessary to ensure optimal production processes. This research used an observational approach with data collection through direct observation of the sewing process, literature study, and documentation of production data. The research population consisted of 36 operators on the observed production line, analyzed through time study activities. The analyzed data included cycle time, takt time, and work processes at each workstation. The results showed that several processes had cycle times exceeding the takt time, specifically in processes number 2, 5, 6, 12, 17, 23, and 26, which caused bottlenecks and workload imbalance among operators. The calculation results indicated that the actual process time reached 520 seconds per product, while the ideal time based on takt time was 287 seconds per product, resulting in a time difference of 233 seconds or about 44% longer than the standard time. The implementation of the line balancing method was carried out by redistributing work elements from processes with high workloads to processes with remaining work capacity. The improvement results showed that the workload among operators became more balanced, the production process became more efficient, and the potential for bottlenecks could be minimized, enabling the company to achieve its production targets.

This study examines the paradigm shift in termination of employment from unfair dismissal to corporate efficiency by comparing Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower and Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation. Two research questions are proposed. First, how changes in the regulation of termination of employment shape this paradigm shift. Second, how the regulation of termination of employment due to efficiency in Law Number 6 of 2023 compares with Law Number 13 of 2003 in terms of worker protection. This study uses a normative juridical method. The results show that the paradigm shift occurs in three dimensions: the basic framework (from ultimum remedium to flexibility), the efficiency position (from limited reasons with high compensation to broad reasons with lower compensation), and the logic of protection (from preventive to repressive, based on immature social security). The regulation of termination of employment due to efficiency in Law Number 6 of 2023 continues to provide protection, but qualitatively decreases due to the loss of objective parameters and the absence of preventive obligations. The proposed strengthening strategies include establishing objective efficiency parameters, strengthening oversight mechanisms, evaluating the Job Loss Guarantee program, and ensuring strict interpretation by the judiciary. This study concludes that without these improvements, the paradigm shift could potentially conflict with the principles of the rule of law and social justice.

Nursing documentation is an essential part of healthcare services, playing a key role in communication, care continuity, and serving as legal evidence. The introduction of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) aims to improve the efficiency of documentation processes. However, high workloads in critical areas such as the Emergency Department (IGD) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) may influence nurse compliance with documentation protocols. This study investigates the relationship between workload and nursing documentation compliance during the implementation of SIMRS at RSUD Haji Makassar's IGD and ICU. A quantitative cross-sectional design was used, with 30 nurses participating (total sampling). The workload was assessed using the NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX), while compliance was evaluated through a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Chi-Square and Fisher’s Exact Test. The results showed that the majority of respondents experienced heavy workloads (83.3%), and most had compliant documentation (96.7%). However, the statistical analysis yielded a p-value of 1.000, indicating no significant relationship between workload and documentation compliance. Based on these findings, the study recommends optimizing SIMRS usage and providing ongoing training to ensure improved compliance with nursing documentation practices.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a crucial aspect in manufacturing industries due to the high risk of workplace accidents caused by heavy machinery, chemical substances, and intensive production activities. Companies usually provide Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as safety guidelines; however, SOPs are often delivered in long textual formats that are less engaging, making workers reluctant to read or difficult to understand quickly. This study aims to design an infographic-based SOP media as an effective visual communication tool to improve workers’ understanding of safety procedures. The research applies a qualitative method with a design approach through workplace observation, interviews with HSE personnel, literature review, and design validation using questionnaires. The results produce infographic media in the form of posters and signage presenting PPE usage procedures, hazard warnings, and evacuation steps using safety color codes, icons, and readable typography. The conclusion indicates that infographic SOP media is more effective than text-based SOP because it improves readability, comprehension, and workers’ memory of safety procedures.

This study aims to explore employees’ work experiences related to work-life balance and compensation in shaping employee performance at CV. Sepanjang Masa (Masa Kreatif), a social media agency located in Makassar. A qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical field design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, passive participant observation, and documentation involving 11 informants from both management and creative teams. Data analysis followed processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with trustworthiness ensured through triangulation techniques. The findings reveal that employees’ work-life balance experiences are dynamic and heterogeneous. Work flexibility provides opportunities for personal time management; however, rapid response demands and intensive content production blur the boundaries between work and personal life. A supportive, communicative, and collaborative work environment acts as a protective factor that mitigates work pressure and fosters creativity. Compensation is perceived not only as financial remuneration but also as a symbol of recognition, professional development opportunities, and organizational appreciation, although gaps remain between employee expectations and organizational capacity. Integratively, work-life balance, work environment, and compensation constitute interconnected work experiences influencing employee engagement and performance within the digital creative industry.
