This study aims to analyze the influence of Resource-Based View (RBV) on innovation performance in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that have expanded internationally, with government information access as a moderation variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The object of the research is CV. Delta Raya, an MSME in the furniture sector from Batu City that has successfully penetrated the export market to Japan, South Korea, and Mexico. The results of the study show that human capital investment and political connections have a significant positive effect on innovation performance. Although international experience does not have a direct effect, the effect becomes significant when moderated by government information access. Access to government information also strengthens the influence of political connections on innovation. The implications of this study underscore the importance of collaboration between MSME actors and government institutions in encouraging internal resource-based innovation.

Torok Golo Village in Rana Mese District, East Manggarai, is an agrarian area with significant agricultural potential but faces various structural challenges, such as limited access to agricultural technology, weak farmer institutions, and low community participation in village development planning processes. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a community-based farmer empowerment program in the area. A qualitative approach was used with a descriptive-qualitative research design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving local actors, including farmers, extension workers, village officials, and program facilitators. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the empowerment program has enhanced farmers' capacities in production and group collaboration, and there has been active community participation during the implementation phase. However, participation in the planning and evaluation stages remains suboptimal, and the institutional structure of farmer groups still requires strengthening. Other weaknesses include limited market access and low utilization of modern agricultural technologies. The study concludes that program effectiveness heavily depends on sustained community participation across all stages and structural support from the government and assisting institutions. Future research is recommended to explore technology-based empowerment models combined with the strengthening of local institutions to better adapt to the needs of rural communities in remote areas.

Akuntansi Pajak dan Kebijakan Ekonomi Digital 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study uses a qualitative method to analyze the dynamics of the business environment within the context of the digital economy, specifically focusing on the impact of platformization on industry competition. Rapid digital technological developments have given rise to various digital platforms that disrupt conventional business models and reshape market structures across multiple sectors. Platforms such as marketplaces, ride-sharing services, and fintech companies have become dominant actors influencing competitive patterns, value distribution, and relationships between large and small enterprises. This research aims to understand how digital platforms affect industry competition through vertical integration, network effects, and data control. The findings reveal that platformization enhances transaction efficiency and market access but also creates imbalances in market power, digital monopolies, and dependency on algorithms. In this context, government regulation and business adaptation strategies are essential to maintaining competitive balance and ensuring the sustainability of the digital ecosystem. The study recommends the adoption of adaptive regulatory approaches and multi-sector collaboration to foster healthy competition in the digital era.

The rapid development of e-commerce in Indonesia has a significant impact on the growth of the digital economy, but also presents major challenges related to environmental sustainability. This study aims to evaluate the environmental impacts caused by e-commerce activities, especially in terms of increasing plastic waste from single-use packaging, carbon emissions in logistics activities, and energy consumption from data centers. Through a literature study and descriptive analysis approach, this study highlights the large contribution of the e-commerce sector to the volume of domestic waste and the need for effective mitigation strategies. In addition to identifying existing challenges, this study also explores various sustainable practices, such as the use of environmentally friendly packaging, consumer education, and the development of low-emission logistics systems. The results of the study indicate that sustainability in e-commerce can only be achieved through collaboration between the government, business actors, and the community. Strict regulations, technological innovation, and increased consumer awareness are needed so that e-commerce can develop in line with the principles of environmental sustainability.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a strategic contribution to economic equality and job creation, especially in rural areas. However, limitations in mastering digital technology, especially in marketing, are still a major challenge for MSMEs in Pepelegi Village, Sidoarjo. This community service activity aims to increase the digitalization capacity of MSMEs through training and mentoring in utilizing Google Maps as a promotional media. The method used in this study is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which includes observation, interviews, training, and evaluation. The location of the activity focused on the MSME Warkop Pojok SR in Pepelegi Village, involving the active participation of local business actors. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in creating and managing business profiles on Google Maps. This has a positive impact on business visibility and the potential for increasing income. Digitalization through Google Maps not only makes it easier for consumers to find business locations, but also provides information regarding operating hours, customer reviews, and business contacts. Thus, this activity is expected to be a model for empowering MSMEs based on digital technology that can be replicated in other areas. The sustainability of the program can be strengthened through cross-sector collaboration to support the acceleration of MSME digital transformation.

In the midst of increasingly fierce modern market competition, traditional beverage products such as sarabba from Makassar began to enter the competitive market. This study aims to analyze the market penetration strategy of Makassar's Sarabba traditional beverage product in an effort to expand its reach and increase competitiveness in local and national markets. Sarabba, as a traditional spice-based drink, has high cultural value and economic potential but faces challenges in terms of marketing and adaptation to modern consumer tastes. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study, through direct observation, interviews with business actors, and documentation analysis. The results showed that the market penetration strategy implemented includes product innovation in the form of ready-to-eat packaging, utilization of digital media for promotion, and collaboration with local MSMEs and creative industry players. With the implementation of effective marketing strategies (4P), Saraba can maintain its traditional flavors while reaching new consumers in local and national markets. This research contributes to the development of marketing strategies for traditional products and suggests ways to improve the competitiveness of local products in the international market. The revitalization of urban heritage areas in Indonesia, exemplified by Panggung Street in Surabaya, faces multifaceted challenges encompassing the preservation of historical character, socio-economic enhancement, and the creation of inclusive public spaces. Current revitalization efforts often misalign with the area’s authentic features such as inappropriate facade treatments while neglecting accessibility for vulnerable groups and failing to foster effective collaboration among stakeholders. This study employs a descriptive qualitative case study approach, synthesizing field observations, in-depth interviews with local actors, comprehensive literature reviews, and precedent analyses of Braga Street in Bandung and heritage zones in Malacca. Data were analyzed using SWOT and root cause analysis to identify systemic barriers and leverage opportunities, while comparative-historical interpretation contextualized Surabaya’s urban identity. Triangulation ensured methodological rigor and validity. The research culminates in a holistic revitalization framework emphasizing three key strategies: restoration of authentic architectural features, including original colors and ornamentation, enhancement of inclusive infrastructure, such as accessible pedestrian pathways and universal signage and active community participation through workshops and cultural initiatives like the Kya-Kya night market. This integrated approach not only preserves the area’s historical integrity but also fosters social cohesion, economic vitality, and collective pride. The study demonstrates that combining heritage conservation with inclusive design principles can transform urban spaces into dynamic, accessible, and sustainable environments. The findings offer valuable insights for other Southeast Asian cities facing similar heritage revitalization challenges.

This study examines the effectiveness of integrated marketing communication in the development of community-based ecotourism at Bukit Tungkuwiri, Papua, with the aim of linking channel strategies and governance structures to socioeconomic impacts. A qualitative descriptive method was applied using purposive sampling involving visitors, managers, and local leaders. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing using source and method triangulation. The results indicate that the orchestration of local government social media and printed materials expanded outreach and enhanced engagement, while community oral communication strengthened trust, identity, and educational experience. The appeal of the landscape, culinary and guide training, and local participation stimulated the economic turnover of stalls and small businesses, with tourist reach extending across provinces. The main constraints include dual authority systems, limited funding and human resources, and the absence of ticketing regulations and service SOPs. The discussion highlights the importance of cross-channel message consistency, brand architecture, and a monitoring–evaluation system linking digital metrics with on-site feedback. The study concludes that strengthening governance and local capacity is key to balancing promotion, conservation, and economic empowerment. The findings offer an operational model that can be replicated in similar rural destinations. Implications include establishing transparent ticket pricing, seasonal content calendars, curated experience packages, and cross-level collaboration among provincial, district, community, and business actors to ensure long-term sustainability.

This study aims to analyze the strategic role of Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) in providing leasing based sharia financing (ijarah) and ventura capital (mudharabah and musyarakah) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. BMT functions as a microfinance institution that provides solutions to the capital challenges faced by MSMEs, including lack of access to conventional financing and low sharia financial literacy. Through the leasing scheme, BMT facilitates the rental of assets needed by MSMEs without requiring large initial capital. Meanwhile, the venture capital scheme allows BMT to share risks and profits with MSME actors, encouraging strategic collaboration. This study also discusses the challenges of implementing sharia financing by BMT, including the low public understanding of sharia products. With a descriptive literature approach, this study finds that BMT has significant potential in increasing financial inclusion and encouraging the sustainability of the sharia economy in Indonesia.

This community service program aims to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through business development based on the sharia economy. MSMEs have a strategic role in the economy, but still face various challenges, especially in the application of sharia economic principles that can increase competitiveness and the desire to do business. This program is designed to improve Islamic financial literacy, introduce business contracts in accordance with sharia, and provide halal digital marketing training. The method of implementing the activity includes a participatory approach with various stages, ranging from problem identification, training, mentoring, to success evaluation. The target of the program is MSME actors in certain regions who have great potential to adopt the concept of sharia economics in their businesses. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of sharia economics, followed by changes in business practices that are more in line with Islamic principles. Some participants began to implement sharia contracts in their transactions, access sharia financing, and take advantage of halal branding-based digital marketing. This program also found several obstacles, such as low initial understanding of the sharia economy, limited access to Islamic financial institutions, and resistance to changes in the business system. However, through intensive strategy education and support from various parties, most of these challenges can be overcome. The conclusion of this activity is that business development based on the sharia economy can be a solution for MSMEs in increasing their competitiveness in the wider market. The next program recommendations include strengthening digital-based education, increasing access to sharia capital, and establishing a sharia-based MSME community as a forum for collaboration and sustainable business development.
