This study aims to analyze the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in science education on students’ environmental literacy and science communication skills at SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru, focusing on the topic of disaster mitigation. The research employed a causal comparative approach with a post-test only design, comparing two student groups: an experimental class using the PBL model and a control class using conventional teaching. The results revealed a significant difference in environmental literacy, with the experimental class achieving a higher average score (81.86) compared to the control class (62.05). This indicates that the PBL model is effective in enhancing students' understanding, awareness, and environmentally responsible behavior. The PBL approach encourages active student engagement and the application of knowledge to real-world scenarios, which is particularly beneficial in the context of environmental issues and disaster mitigation. By working through problems related to environmental challenges, students are likely to gain a deeper understanding of the topic, which fosters a sense of responsibility towards environmental sustainability. In terms of science communication, although the experimental class showed a higher average score (75.78) than the control class (72.92), the difference was not statistically significant. This may be due to a lack of intensive training in scientific discussions and presentations. While PBL encourages collaborative problem-solving and idea-sharing, students may still require more structured practice in presenting and communicating their findings clearly and persuasively. The integration of more structured activities focusing on science communication skills could further enhance the effectiveness of the PBL model. Overall, the PBL model demonstrates positive potential in improving both environmental literacy and science communication. However, to achieve its full impact, its implementation must be consistent, with a focus on providing students with additional opportunities to develop their communication skills.

Obesity, central obesity, and hypercholesterolemia are prevalent yet often unrecognized health conditions that significantly elevate the risk for various non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and cardiovascular disorders. These conditions, when left undiagnosed and untreated, contribute to the growing public health burden worldwide. This community service program was designed to raise awareness and provide early detection of these conditions through basic health screening measures, including body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, and blood cholesterol levels. The program was implemented in Tomang Subdistrict, West Jakarta, where 90 participants were involved. The findings from the screening revealed concerning results: 67% of the participants were classified as obese, and 58% had central obesity, both of which are major risk factors for NCDs. A deeper analysis of lifestyle factors highlighted that high-fat diets, sedentary behaviors, and night shift work were significant contributors to the high rates of obesity and metabolic abnormalities observed. The educational outreach component of the program, which included the provision of information about healthy diets, exercise, and the importance of regular health screenings, proved to be effective in raising awareness about these health issues. Moreover, the simple health screening process was well-received by the community and contributed to a greater understanding of individual health risks. This initiative is expected to serve as a sustainable model for promoting health and preventing metabolic diseases in the community. The findings underscore the importance of early detection and education as critical strategies in the fight against obesity and related NCDs, suggesting that such programs can play a key role in reducing the future burden of chronic diseases in underserved populations

This study aims to analyze the role of organizational culture in optimizing employee performance in Lebak Bulus Village, South Jakarta. A strong organizational culture is considered to have a significant contribution in improving the effectiveness of government officials and the quality of public services to the community. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a phenomenological method, which emphasizes an in-depth understanding of the experiences, views, and behaviors of employees in carrying out their duties in their work environment. The research focuses on actors (employees), social situations, and activities that occur within the village environment. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with key and primary informants, and documentation. Data validity was tested through triangulation of sources and techniques to increase the validity of the research results. The results show that the organizational culture in Lebak Bulus Village has strengths in the aspects of innovation and risk-taking, orientation towards results, orientation towards people, and stability. However, several weaknesses were still found, such as low individual initiative, lack of attention to detail, weak team orientation, minimal levels of aggressiveness, and limited employee experience and accuracy. Opportunities for improvement can be pursued through ongoing training and the digitalization of public services, although challenges remain, including a passive work culture and resistance to policy change. Overall, organizational culture plays a crucial role in supporting employee performance improvement, but a sustainable strategy is needed to strengthen professionalism and build a more adaptive and progressive work culture. Efforts to address identified weaknesses, such as improving communication between employees, developing leadership skills, and enhancing discipline in carrying out tasks, are essential for the continued development of a positive organizational culture. Furthermore, awareness of the importance of collaboration across organizational divisions must be instilled to create a more productive and efficient work environment.

This study aims to describe the social transformations found in the literary aspects of the Advanced Indonesian Language Textbook for grade 11 and analyze its relationship to the construction of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5). The main focus of this study is to examine how the literary works presented in the textbook function not only as a medium for language learning but also as a vehicle for character development and social understanding for students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with sociological literary analysis techniques, where data is obtained from excerpts from poetry, short stories, and plays that depict social change. The results indicate that the social transformations reflected in these literary works are divided into two main forms: collective behavior and social movements. Collective behavior is demonstrated through themes of fashion and fashion, urban legends, and the phenomenon of mass hysteria, which implicitly depict social conflict, class inequality, and the dynamics of societal culture. Meanwhile, social movements are depicted in the narratives of characters who fight for change against norms, traditions, and social structures that limit freedom. This representation demonstrates resistance, critical awareness, and a drive towards a more just and equal life. The findings of this study are closely related to the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, such as critical reasoning skills, a spirit of mutual cooperation, an attitude of upholding social justice, and independence in thought and action. Therefore, it can be concluded that literary works in Indonesian language textbooks not only present aesthetic value and literary appreciation, but also serve as an effective means of instilling national values and supporting the formation of student character in accordance with the vision of Pancasila.

According to the circular letter from the Head of the Inspectorate General (KaIT) regarding the review of mining accident cases in September 2024 and the review of mining accidents in the third quarter of 2024, the percentage of accidents occurring in workshops reached 16.13%. Over the past five years, the Plant Department of PT Saptaindra Sejati Jobsite Sera has experienced two major incidents classified as Lost Time Injury (LTI) resulting from working with lifting equipment on undercarriage components. The purpose of this study is to identify risks, analyze risk levels, and provide recommendations for risk control in the overhaul work of the PC210-10M0 undercarriage. This research applies the HIRADC method by identifying potential hazards through calculations of likelihood and severity levels to obtain the risk level using a risk matrix. Control measures are then carried out through administrative actions such as documentation and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The results of this study indicate a decrease in risk levels after implementing risk controls—from extreme risk to medium risk, and from high risk to low risk. Suggestions from this study include the need to develop updated HIRADC for each section, actively conduct socialization regarding Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before work, and perform inspections as well as observations related to work behavior.

Community diagnosis is a strategic step that aims to identify fundamental problems in the community, determine problem priorities, and formulate appropriate solutions to overcome them. One of the identified health issues is a significant increase in cases of mumps (epidemic parotitis), an acute infectious disease caused by the mumps virus, a member of the Rubulavirus genus. This increase in cases was recorded in the Puskesmas work area from the beginning of the year to November 2024. This phenomenon raises concerns regarding the potential for widespread health problems at the community level. Therefore, this intervention activity was carried out with the hope of reducing the incidence of mumps in the Puskesmas work area. The methodology applied in this activity includes data collection through mini surveys, analysis of health determinants using the Blum Paradigm, determination of problem priorities through the Delphi method, and identification of root causes using a fishbone diagram. Based on the results of this analysis, the interventions implemented include counseling on mumps and preventive measures, as well as demonstrations of proper hand washing. The results of the intervention showed a significant increase in knowledge, where all participants (n=40, 100%) obtained a post-test score of ≥ 7, indicating a good understanding of the material presented. In the demonstration session, a number of participants were also able to demonstrate the steps for washing hands according to the correct procedure. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the increase in mumps cases in this area was closely related to community lifestyle factors. Therefore, this intervention is expected to not only increase community knowledge about mumps, but also encourage the implementation of clean and healthy living behaviors, especially in the practice of washing hands, as a preventive measure to reduce the number of transmissions and accelerate case handling.

The purpose of this study is to investigate in depth the mediating role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in the relationship between organizational commitment and work motivation on teacher performance at Saraswati Elementary School, Denpasar. This research is motivated by the crucial role of teachers as the spearhead of educational success, making understanding the factors influencing teacher performance highly relevant. The study population comprised 175 teachers, with a sample size of 85 respondents determined using the Hair formula. Data collection involved a combination of structured questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and supporting document analysis to strengthen the findings. Path analysis was used to examine direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results indicate that organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on OCB, indicating that the higher a teacher's commitment to the school, the greater their tendency to exhibit extra-role behavior. Similar findings were also evident for work motivation, where high motivation significantly increased OCB. Furthermore, organizational commitment was shown to have a direct, positive, and significant relationship with teacher performance, and work motivation also plays a significant role in improving performance. OCB itself also has a significant influence on strengthening teacher performance.  This study specifically confirms that OCB acts as a mediator in the relationship between organizational commitment and work motivation on teacher performance. Thus, the results of this study underscore the crucial role of OCB as a bridge connecting internal factors such as commitment and motivation with optimal work results. The practical implication of this research is the need for schools to strengthen organizational commitment and motivate teachers to develop citizenship behaviors that ultimately drive sustainable performance improvement.

In the midst of increasing organizational competition, issues of low organizational commitment remain prevalent, including at the Office of Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, and Settlement Areas of Bali Province, as indicated by a high absenteeism rate and ineffective work behaviors. These problems are suspected to be influenced by inadequate training methods, low self-efficacy among employees, and a lack of job satisfaction. The present study explores the extent to which employee training and perceived self-efficacy contribute to fostering organizational commitment, with job satisfaction positioned as an intervening construct. Conducted within the context of the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, and Settlement Agency of Bali Province, the research engaged a workforce population of 610 individuals. Through the application of the Slovin formula, a representative sample of 86 respondents was identified. Data were gathered through a combination of structured questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and document review. Analytical processing was undertaken using path analysis to model the causal relationships among variables. The empirical evidence revealed that both training initiatives and self-efficacy perceptions have a favorable and statistically significant relationship with employees’ commitment to the organization. These two factors were also found to positively affect job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction emerged as a critical determinant that reinforces organizational commitment. The analysis further supports the mediating role of job satisfaction, demonstrating that the influence of training and self-efficacy on organizational commitment is also conveyed indirectly through improved job satisfaction levels. The findings of this study highlight the importance of investing in employee development through effective training programs and boosting self-efficacy to enhance job satisfaction.

Corruption is an extraordinary crime that damages the foundation of the state. In the context of Government Procurement of Goods/Services (PBJP), corrupt behavior still occurs even though it has been regulated through Presidential Regulation Number 12 of 2021 as an amendment to Presidential Regulation Number 16 of 2018. The implementation of the PBJP policy is considered to be not able to effectively suppress the potential for corruption, so other variables are needed that affect the effectiveness of the policy. This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect influence of the leadership style and quality of human resources (HR) of the state civil apparatus on the potential for corruption through the implementation of PBJP policies. The research method used is quantitative with the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) approach, which aims to test the relationship between latent variables and confirm the influence of leadership style and quality of human resources on potential corruption through the effectiveness of PBJP implementation. The research population includes elements of PBJP policy implementation within the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), including PPK, procurement officials, UKPBJ working groups, and goods/service providers. The sample was determined by purposive random sampling, consisting of internal and external implementers of PBJP at the KPK with a budget value of more than IDR 1 billion in the 2024 fiscal year. The results of the study show that leadership style has a positive effect on the implementation of PBJP and directly reduces the potential for corruption. The quality of ASN human resources has a positive effect on the implementation of PBJP, but it has a double effect on the potential for corruption. The mediation test showed that the implementation of PBJP mediated part of the influence of leadership style and human resource quality on potential corruption, with the direction of influence changing from positive to negative. These findings confirm the importance of the effectiveness of the implementation of PBJP policies in suppressing the potential for corruption within the KPK.

Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by Sarcoptes scabiei infestation, and generally affects children and adolescents, especially those living in crowded and unhygienic environments such as orphanages. This disease is highly contagious through direct contact and the sharing of personal items, such as towels, clothing, and bedding. Therefore, ongoing promotional and preventive efforts are crucial to prevent the spread of scabies in vulnerable communities. This community service activity was carried out at the Harapan Kita Orphanage within the Ariodillah Community Health Center (Puskesmas) working area. The main objective of the activity was to increase children's knowledge, awareness, and skills in preventing scabies transmission. The activity methods used included two-way discussion-based health education, providing real-life examples of personal hygiene, and distributing educational leaflets that are easy for children to understand. The education was conducted interactively by involving participants in questions and answers, handwashing simulations, and education on the importance of washing clothes and maintaining clean bedding. Post-activity observations showed that all participants did not experience active scabies symptoms, and there was an increase in participants' understanding of clean and healthy lifestyles. The children showed high enthusiasm and were able to reflect on the information presented. Overall, this activity proved effective in raising awareness of the importance of personal and environmental hygiene. This counseling model is highly relevant for regular implementation in orphanages or other institutions at high risk of spreading infectious skin diseases, as part of an education-based public health strategy. With the active involvement of the orphanage caregivers, it is hoped that this program can be sustainable and become part of the routine health education for children.

Type II diabetes mellitus (Type II DM) is a chronic disease that requires long-term self-care skills to prevent serious complications. However, many patients have difficulty managing blood sugar levels independently due to a lack of structured and ongoing education. The Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to improve the self-care skills of Type II DM patients through an educational approach based on the Self-Care Deficit theory from Dorothea Orem. The activity was carried out in Bonto Ramba, the working area of the Tamalanrea Makassar Health Center, involving 35 participants (33 women and 2 men). Interventions were carried out through interactive counseling, demonstrations of diabetic foot wound care, practice simulations, and the distribution of easy-to-understand educational media. Evaluation was carried out using a pre-post test to measure knowledge improvement and an observation sheet to assess the ability of self-care practice. Results showed a significant improvement in participants' self-care knowledge and skills after the intervention. In addition, family involvement in assisting patients has also increased, strengthening the sustainability of self-care behavior. Participants gave positive feedback on the method of delivering material that was contextual and relevant to daily life. The supportive-educational approach used has been proven effective in empowering patients and building awareness of the importance of self-control of health conditions. This program not only contributes to improving the quality of life of Type II DM patients, but also strengthens the role of the family as the main support in the treatment process. In conclusion, structured education based on Orem theory can be used as an intervention model that can be replicated in other areas with high prevalence of DM, as a promotive and preventive strategy in community-based management of chronic diseases.

Character education serves as a fundamental pillar in shaping a generation of morally upright, responsible, and resilient youth. It not only fosters ethical behavior but also equips children with the skills and attitudes necessary to contribute positively to society. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of character education among children through a combination of artistic activities—such as coloring and calligraphy—and environmental activities, specifically planting. The research was conducted in two orphanages located in Blitar Regency, namely Raudhatul Aitam Orphanage and Nurul Falah Orphanage. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that creative, participatory, and collaborative approaches are effective in nurturing essential character values among children, both under and over the age of ten. The core values instilled through the activities include appreciation for global diversity, cooperative spirit (gotong royong), faith, and environmental awareness. Practical activities, such as coloring illustrations of traditional houses, planting chili plants, and coloring calligraphic artworks, were found to enhance children’s creativity, self-confidence, patience, and social interaction skills. Moreover, these activities encouraged teamwork and a sense of responsibility, as children worked together to complete tasks and care for their environment. The study highlights the importance of integrating cultural, artistic, and ecological elements in character education programs to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences. Furthermore, continuous support and collaboration from various stakeholders—including caregivers, educators, community members, and government institutions—are essential to ensure sustainability. When consistently implemented, such programs have the potential to produce long-term positive impacts, helping children grow into individuals who are not only skilled and creative but also possess strong moral values and a deep sense of social responsibility.

This study investigates the adoption of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) by registration staff at Tangkiling Health Center, Palangka Raya, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. Out of 61 total healthcare workers, five medical record staff with educational backgrounds in midwifery, nursing, dental nursing, and non-medical high school were purposively selected as research participants. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method, combining in-depth interviews and direct field observations. Results indicate that while the staff acknowledged the usefulness of EMR in improving service efficiency and data accessibility, several barriers hindered its effective use—primarily a lack of training, limited digital literacy, unstable internet connectivity, and inadequate hardware such as computers and printers. Observations showed that only the registration unit had a single shared computer, while other units like outpatient clinics, pharmacy, and cashier still relied on manual documentation. This fragmentation has led to duplicate workloads and disrupted patient data continuity. Despite these challenges, the staff demonstrated a positive attitude and strong behavioral intention to adopt EMR if provided with sufficient infrastructure and regular training. The study concludes that successful EMR implementation in primary healthcare requires not only user acceptance but also institutional readiness, adequate resources, and integrated systems across all service units.

This paper explains the implementation of the creation of a screenplay for a feature video entitled "Mother for the Earth" with a focus on the application of parallel structure in four scenes: teaser, conflict, climax, and catharsis. Each scene serves to build narrative tension, strengthen the central theme, and generate a deeper understanding of the importance of environmental awareness. The parallel structure is applied to show a strong contrast between two mothers with different lifestyle backgrounds—one mother who adopts an environmentally friendly lifestyle and the other mother who is less concerned with life's desires. In the teaser scene, the scenario presents two main characters living in different worlds, arousing the audience's curiosity about the differences in the two mothers' views and attitudes towards the world around them. In the conflict scene, both face challenges and dilemmas related to their chosen lifestyles. The climax scene shows the culmination of their conflict, while the catharsis scene provides a resolution, where one of the mothers finally realizes the importance of small changes in daily habits that can have a big impact on the environment. This work aims to educate the audience, especially families and housewives, about the importance of raising environmental awareness from an early age in children. Through the use of parallel structure, the message about simple behaviors that have a significant impact on the environment becomes more powerful and compelling, inspiring the audience to take positive action in their daily lives for a better planet. The use of parallel structure in this scenario also serves to demonstrate how the two mothers, despite coming from different backgrounds, can share the same goal of preserving the earth.

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived organizational support and work engagement on the contextual performance of entrepreneurs in Padang City. Contextual performance is an important aspect of the work environment, reflecting the voluntary behavior of employees or entrepreneurs in helping, collaborating, and supporting organizational or business goals beyond their core duties. In the context of entrepreneurship, contextual performance can influence business continuity and development, as highly committed entrepreneurs tend to demonstrate greater initiative, loyalty, and involvement in business processes. Perceived organizational support, the extent to which individuals feel valued and supported by the organizational environment or business community, is a determining factor in shaping these positive behaviors. Meanwhile, work engagement reflects the level of enthusiasm and dedication of individuals in carrying out their business roles. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional method, and data were collected through a survey of 1,146 entrepreneurs in Padang City, West Sumatra Province. The analysis showed that both perceived organizational support and work engagement significantly influenced the contextual performance of entrepreneurs. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.67 indicates that 67% of the variation in contextual performance can be explained by these two variables (p < 0.01). This finding underscores the importance of creating a supportive environment and encouraging high work engagement in the entrepreneurial context. Therefore, business owners, policymakers, and business community managers need to consider these two factors when designing comprehensive business performance improvement strategies to support regional economic growth.

On-task behavior problems are a common obstacle in the academic activities of school-aged children. Children often experience difficulty maintaining attention, are easily distracted, and exhibit frequent shifts of attention during learning. This has the potential to lead to decreased academic achievement and increased impulsive behavior. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the shaping behavior modification technique in increasing the duration of on-task behavior. The subject of the study was a 4-year-old boy who exhibited attention problems while working on academic tasks. The research design used a one-group pretest-posttest design with a single-subject approach using an A-B-A data collection model. Data collection was carried out using a duration data sheet to measure the duration of on-task behavior through direct observation. Data analysis was conducted by comparing the average duration of on-task behavior before and after the intervention. The results showed that the shaping technique did not provide a significant increase in the duration of on-task behavior. Although there were fluctuations in the duration of increases and decreases during the intervention phase, these results were not sufficient to prove the effectiveness of shaping in this context. These findings indicate that the shaping approach is less than optimal when applied alone, and that additional intervention methods or other alternatives are needed that are more appropriate to the characteristics and needs of the child. This research provides implications for the importance of selecting appropriate and adaptive behavioral intervention techniques to help children improve focus and engagement in academic activities.

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is part of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, which emphasizes the holistic development of student character. The program's primary objective is to develop students with noble character, global diversity, collaborative spirit, independence, critical thinking, and creativity. One approach to integrating these values is through an appreciation of literary works, particularly folktales. Folktales have great potential as educational media because they contain various life values derived from local wisdom. This research focuses on analyzing the life values contained in folktales from the Semarang region and assessing their relevance in supporting the implementation of P5. Amidst the decline in moral values among students, marked by rampant cases of brawls, drug abuse, bullying, and unethical behavior, utilizing folktales as teaching materials is an alternative solution that is contextual and culturally based. Unfortunately, many local folktales remain largely unknown and underutilized in the learning process. The research method used was a qualitative approach with data analysis techniques modeled after Miles and Huberman. The results of the study indicate seven main values contained in Semarang folklore: aesthetic, religious, social, moral, cultural, educational, and economic. These values not only reflect the social conditions of society in the past but also have strong relevance for shaping the character of today's students. Despite differences in the context of the times, folklore can still be used as an effective learning medium, especially when packaged in a more engaging and modern format, such as digital storytelling, animation, or other interactive media. Therefore, the inclusion of folklore in P5 can bridge the gap between cultural heritage and sustainable character education.
