This service examines the use of the social media platform of the tiktok application which acts as an effort to approach digital promotion for micro, small and medium enterprises in Krobokan village, Juwangi. Although MSMEs allocate an important role in sales products to the community, they do not fully understand digital media.This service applies a qualitative method by conducting interviews and socialization to the community which amounts to around 30 people consisting of 10 MSME business actors. The results of the interview identified MSME actors in Krobokan village who are not fully aware of the importance of understanding the development of social media as a marketing media tool, therefore we provide education about sales through online media because they only market products traditionally in the village environment. TikTok as a strategic means in supporting sales in today's digital era because the TikTok application is one of the highest platforms that are widely used today such as the TikTok Shop and Live TikTok features in strengthening the introduction of sales to customers through social media. This service concludes that from traditional marketing by word of mouth to marketing in the digital era that focuses on creative digital marketing, efforts have great potential in developing the community's economy in the current digital era.

Socio-economic challenges faced by tuberculosis (TB) survivors in Indonesia remain substantial, particularly stigma that restricts employment opportunities and hinders social reintegration. This community service program aimed to strengthen the economic capacity of TB survivors through a community-based empowerment approach and health information dissemination via social media. The program involved a TB survivor community in the partner area of the Lampung Sehat Initiative. A participatory method was applied through entrepreneurship training, digital content production assistance, and the distribution of health education materials using Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The results indicate that social media was effective not only as a platform for health education but also as a promotional tool for participants’ micro-business products. In addition to improving public literacy regarding TB, social media contributed to stigma reduction by delivering positive narratives and reinforcing the collective identity of the survivor community. The program also encouraged behavioral change, supported the emergence of local leadership, and expanded participants’ social and economic networks. These findings suggest that integrating social media into community-based empowerment initiatives can serve as a social transformation strategy that enhances the sustainability of economic development and social support for TB survivors.

Continuous chemical control of rat pests (Rattus spp.) can sometimes lead to resistance and resurgence problems, and even some cases of inaccurate targeting ultimately killing livestock. The idea of ​​​​repelling rats in rice fields using vibrations of crickets and other natural animals transmitted via radio has been done and the results are quite optimal for rat control, but it has not been done in corn cultivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cat sound audio on the intensity of rat pest attacks (Rattus spp.) in corn (Zea mays L.) plantations. The research location was in a farmer's land owned by a farmer in Dagan Village, Solokuro District, Lamongan Regency. Determination of sampling points using the diagonal method, each into 5 sub-observation plots. In each sub-plot, markers were placed as sampling points. Audio with cat and bird sounds was played continuously from 05.00 pm - 07.00 am. Observations were conducted at 7:00 a.m. at all sampling points at 30 and 60 days after planting. Observations were conducted for three days using audio and three days without audio. Damage symptoms were observed directly at each sampling point. Corn plants showing symptoms were then recorded and analyzed using the Damage Intensity formula. Observations showed that the use of cat sound audio was able to reduce the level of rat infestation. At 30 days after planting, the damage percentage was reduced by 8.33%. Meanwhile, at 60 days after planting, the damage percentage was reduced by 18.33%.

The objective of this study is to comprehensively examine and analyze the influence of microstructure on the mechanical properties of metallic materials. Microstructure is known to play a crucial role in determining the mechanical behavior of metals; therefore, a thorough understanding of this relationship is essential for the development of engineering materials. This study adopts a systematic literature review approach, employing descriptive analysis and meta-analysis of recent scientific publications obtained from various reputable academic databases. The analysis results indicate that microstructure is a significant determinant of the mechanical characteristics of metallic materials, including strength, ductility, and resistance to deformation. The most influential microstructural parameters include grain size, phase distribution, crystallographic orientation, dislocation density, and the presence and characteristics of precipitates. Among these parameters, grain size has been shown to be the most dominant factor. The Hall–Petch strengthening mechanism demonstrates that grain refinement can increase the tensile strength of materials by approximately 200 to 300 percent. In addition, materials with multi-phase microstructures, such as dual-phase steels and TRIP steels, exhibit an excellent combination of strength and ductility compared to single-phase materials. Based on the meta-analysis results, each metallic material system exhibits a trade-off between strength and ductility, whereby an increase in strength is generally accompanied by a reduction in ductility. These findings indicate that achieving an optimal combination of mechanical properties for specific application requirements necessitates a comprehensive and integrated microstructural engineering approach.

Excessive alcohol consumption, including traditional alcoholic beverages such as Cap Tikus  (alcohol content ±45%) from North Sulawesi, can induce liver damage characterized by steatosis, inflammation, and necrosis. Leilem leaf (Clerodendrum minahassae) extract, rich in phenolic and flavonoid compounds, has potential hepatoprotective effects due to its antioxidant properties. To evaluate the effect of leilem leaf extract on the histopathological features of the liver in Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus) induced by Cap Tikus alcoholic beverage. This experimental study used a post-test only control group design with 24 male Wistar rats divided into four groups: normal control, negative control (Cap Tikus 2.16 mL/day), treatment I (leilem extract 150 mg/kgBW + Cap Tikus), and treatment II (leilem extract 300 mg/kgBW + Cap Tikus). Treatments were administered orally for 14 days. Liver tissue was processed for histopathological examination using hematoxylin-eosin staining and observed under a light microscope. The negative control group showed significant steatosis and inflammatory cell infiltration. Treatment groups exhibited reduced steatosis and inflammation, along with increased hepatocyte regeneration. The higher dose (300 mg/kgBW) demonstrated greater hepatoprotective effects and more prominent regeneration compared to the lower dose (150 mg/kgBW). No necrosis or fibrosis was observed in any group. Leilem leaf extract exerts a hepatoprotective effect by suppressing inflammatory responses and enhancing hepatocyte regeneration in Wistar rats induced with Cap Tikus. The highest protective efficacy was observed with leilem leaf extract at 300 mg/kgBW.

Atherosclerosis, as the leading cause of cardiovascular disease, can be triggered by a high-fat diet that causes hyperlipidemia. Fern leaves (Diplazium esculentum) contain various bioactive compounds (alkaloids, phenols, flavonoids, terpenoids) with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory potential, which are suspected to inhibit the formation of atherosclerotic lesions. This study aims to determine the effect of administering fern leaf extract on the histopathological features of the aorta in Wistar rats induced by a high-fat diet. This laboratory experimental study used 25 male Wistar rats divided into five groups: (A) normal control, (B) negative control (high-fat diet), (C) positive control (high-fat diet + simvastatin), (D) treatment I (high-fat diet + fern leaf extract 600 mg/kgBW), and (E) treatment II (high-fat diet + fern leaf extract 1200 mg/kgBW). The treatment was administered for 21 days. On the 22nd day, the aorta was taken and processed into histopathological preparations using Hematoxylin-Eosin (H&E) staining. The number of foam cells was counted at 400x magnification. Data were analyzed using the One-Way ANOVA test followed by the Tukey test. There were differences in the number of foam cells between groups. The post-hoc test showed a significant difference between group B (high-fat diet) and all other groups (p<0.001). There was no significant difference between group E (extract 1200 mg/kgBW) and group C (simvastatin) (p=0.783), nor between group D (extract 600 mg/kgBW) and group C (p=0.075). Fern leaf extract (Diplazium esculentum) is able to reduce the number of foam cells in the aorta of Wistar rats induced by a high-fat diet.

A high-fat diet can cause hyperlipidemia, which is one of the main risk factors for atherosclerosis. Papaya flowers (Carica papaya L.) contain antioxidants that have the potential to inhibit the development of atherosclerotic lesions. This study aims to determine the effect of papaya flower extract on the histopathological features of the aorta of Wistar rats induced by a high-fat diet. The study design is a posttest only-trial group design. The study sample consisted of 25 male Wistar rats divided into 5 groups with treatment for 21 days. Group A received no treatment. Group B was given high-fat diet consisting of 3 mL of pork fat and 2 g of duck egg yolk. Group C was given high-fat diet and simvastatin 0.18 mg/200 gBW. Groups D and E were given high-fat diet and papaya flower extract 125 mg/kgBW and 250 mg/kgBW, respectively. The parameter used is the histopathological description of the aorta in the form of foam cell formation. The results showed that there were few foam cell in group A. Group B had many foam cells in the tunica intima and media of aorta. Group C, D and E showed a reduction in the number of foam cells. The administration of papaya flower extract (Carica papaya L.) was effective in inhibiting foam cell formation in the aorta of Wistar rats induced by a high-fat diet, with a better effect seen at a dose of 250 mg/kgBW, which was almost comparable to simvastatin.

This community service program aims to analyze the effectiveness of utilizing TikTok Shop as a digital marketing platform for UMKM Izzata Hijab located in Paciran District, Lamongan Regency. The main problem faced by the partner is the suboptimal management of digital marketing, particularly in content strategy planning, posting consistency, and the utilization of TikTok Shop features, resulting in marketing activities that have not yet provided maximum impact on improving marketing performance. The implementation method of this community service employed a mentoring and training model, which included stages of interviews, observation, and documentation throughout the mentoring process. The results indicate that the planned and sustainable implementation of digital marketing strategies through TikTok Shop is able to increase brand awareness, expand promotional reach, enhance customer interaction, and positively impact product sales. The effectiveness of the community service program is influenced by posting consistency, visual content quality, digital communication understanding, and the partner’s responsiveness to customers. This community service confirms that TikTok Shop digital marketing assistance is an effective strategy in supporting the improvement of marketing performance of UMKM Izzata Hijab in the digital era.

This study aims to analyze the digital marketing strategies implemented to enhance branding in the Muslim fashion business at the "Hilya Collection" Store in Lamongan. Using a deductive qualitative approach, data were obtained through online interviews and literature studies from various sources, such as books, articles, journals, and relevant social media. The "Hilya Collection" Store utilizes social media for product promotion, collaborating with agents and resellers through WhatsApp groups, Instagram Reels, Shopee accounts, Facebook, and TikTok. This digital marketing strategy helps the store build strong branding, increase customer trust, and expand its market reach globally. With consistent implementation of the right digital strategy, this business can compete in a wider market, reach more Muslim customers, and have a positive impact on the store's development. It is hoped that the implementation of this digital marketing strategy will continue to support the growth and success of the "Hilya Collection" Store in facing increasingly fierce market competition.

The coffee shop industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth, leading to increasingly intense market competition, particularly among small and medium enterprises. Iro Rumah Kopi, an UMKM located in Lebak Bulus, is required to implement effective marketing communication strategies to strengthen its brand awareness. This study aims to analyze digital marketing communication practices conducted through social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok, which are widely used to reach young and urban audiences. A descriptive qualitative approach is applied to examine the content shared by the marketing team, focusing on messages, visual elements, storytelling techniques, and patterns of audience interaction. The results indicate that marketing communication plays a crucial role in shaping consumer perceptions and increasing brand visibility. Visual content combined with consistent storytelling and active engagement with followers successfully enhances audience interaction. The positioning of Iro Rumah Kopi as a “second home” emerges as a central message that fosters emotional connections with customers. Overall, the study concludes that consistent, creative, and relevant digital communication strategies significantly contribute to improving brand awareness and customer attachment.

This study aims to describe users' experiences and perceptions regarding the presence of malicious comments on social media, particularly on TikTok and Instagram. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using Google Forms containing eight open-ended questions, then analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach through thematic analysis. The results showed that all respondents had and frequently encountered malicious comments, especially on viral content or creator accounts with large followings. The most common forms of malicious comments included body shaming, insults, defamation, and belittling and demeaning comments. Respondents expressed various emotional reactions such as discomfort, sadness, anger, and pity, although a small number felt normal due to their familiarity with the phenomenon. Factors that drive someone to make malicious comments include following the crowd (FOMO), envy, personal dislike, and the ease of expressing negative opinions on social media. Malicious comments also impact user comfort, with most feeling disturbed and uncomfortable. Respondents' responses to malicious comments included ignoring, responding positively to reprimands, blocking accounts, or reporting the comments. Respondents also proposed several efforts to reduce malicious comments, such as limiting or closing the comment section and increasing education regarding social media ethics. Overall, this study confirms that malicious comments are a common phenomenon on social media and need to be addressed through better personal awareness and digital literacy.

The rapid development of the sea transportation industry produces a massive and complex volume of transaction data, requiring strategic management to support managerial decision-making. This research aims to implement the Executive Information System on SeaPass in order to evaluate the performance of ship ticket sales. The research method uses data visualization with a two-level drill-down mechanism, which allows the presentation of information hierarchically from general summaries to specific details. The methodological stages include needs analysis, user interface (UI) design using Figma, front-end implementation with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, database integration, and system testing through Black Box Testing. The results showed that the SIE implementation successfully integrated operational data, including schedules, ships, and manifests, into an interactive dashboard. The two-level drill-down feature provides the ability for executives to identify operational anomalies and market fluctuations in real-time. In conclusion, the system significantly enhances executive data analysis capabilities, transforming complex transaction data into accurate strategic information, thereby supporting more precise business decision-making and adaptive to the dynamics of the marine transportation market.

Competition in acquiring young talent is increasing, so employer branding strategies  are an important element for organizations in attracting the interest of generation Z. As digital natives, generation Z has different characteristics and expectations, including the need for career development, work-life balance, organizational reputation, and an inclusive work culture (Smith, 2022). In the midst of global competition and the increasingly dominant use of digital technology in the job search process, companies are required to build an authentic and relevant employer image in order to increase the attractiveness of their talents. Previous research has shown that employer branding has a significant effect on the interest in applying for jobs for generation Z, either directly or through mediating factors such as organizational reputation and person-organization fit (Backhaus & Tikoo, 2004; Jiang & Iles, 2024). Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to analyze the influence of employer branding on the interest in applying for jobs of Generation Z and examine the role of organizational reputation and person organization fit as a mediation variable. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of Generation Z respondents who were looking for a job, then analyzed using multiple regression and bootstrapping mediation test. The results of the study show that employer branding has a positive and significant effect on the interest in applying for jobs for generation Z, and this influence is stronger when the reputation of the organization and the person-organization fit plays the role of mediator. These findings affirm the importance for organizations to build a positive image, provide an inclusive work culture, and highlight the value match between companies and applicants in order to be able to compete in the fight for young talent in the digital era.

The informal trading of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang game accounts through social networking platforms has expanded rapidly alongside the acceleration of digital technology and the growing integration of online gaming into contemporary lifestyles, particularly among younger demographics. Game accounts characterized by high competitive rankings, exclusive virtual assets, and accumulated in-game achievements have increasingly been commodified and exchanged through social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, predominantly utilizing electronic payment instruments, including digital wallets. Despite its widespread practice, this form of transaction frequently generates legal complications, most notably in relation to consumer protection. Buyers are often exposed to substantial risks, including fraudulent representations, discrepancies between promised and actual account specifications, unauthorized resale, and the revocation of account access after payment completion. This study seeks to critically examine the legal framework governing the trading of Mobile Legends accounts and to assess the extent to which consumer protection mechanisms are afforded under Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions and Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. Employing a normative juridical research design, this study applies statutory and conceptual approaches supported by the analysis of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The findings indicate that consumer protection within online game account transactions remains structurally insufficient, primarily due to the absence of explicit legal recognition of digital game accounts as legally protected objects. Consequently, the study underscores the necessity of adopting progressive legal interpretation and formulating specific regulatory instruments to enhance legal certainty and ensure more effective consumer protection within the evolving landscape of digital transactions.

This study is motivated by the rapid development of digital technology, which has positioned social media as an essential tool for disseminating information and conducting promotion, including in the field of arts and culture. Sanggar Mahligai in Siak Regency, as an institution dedicated to preserving Malay traditional dance, utilizes social media to expand its informational reach, attract public interest, and maintain the existence of traditional arts amid modern lifestyle changes. This research aims to describe how social media is used as a medium for information dissemination and promotion by Sanggar Mahligai. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the head of the sanggar, social media administrators, and followers of the sanggar’s social media accounts. The findings show that Instagram and TikTok serve as the main platforms for sharing information related to training schedules, performance activities, new member registration, and activity documentation. Visual content, the use of trending formats, and active interaction with the audience significantly increase public engagement and interest in the sanggar’s activities. These results indicate that social media plays an important role in strengthening the sanggar’s visibility, fostering two-way communication, and supporting the preservation of Malay cultural arts through consistent and strategic digital practices.

The advancement of digital technology has triggered a transformation in the teaching and learning process, including in the teaching of Economics at the senior high school level. Social media, which initially served merely as a communication tool, is now utilized as an interactive and easily accessible alternative learning resource. This study aims to describe how social media is used in the Economics learning process at SMA Panca Marga Lamongan and to identify its benefits and challenges. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with purposive sampling, involving one Economics teacher and eleventh-grade social science students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then processed and examined using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña analysis model. The findings show that social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok enhance students’ understanding of economic concepts in a more contextual and visual manner, as well as foster learning independence and participation. However, challenges include difficulties in filtering credible information and the potential for distraction when usage is not well-controlled. Thus, social media can serve as an effective learning resource when supported by strong digital literacy, clear teacher guidance, and proper management of its use.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Salam contract in the online sales system of Kwala Official, an online store selling bedding through the marketplaces Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok, and Blibli. The research method used a qualitative case study approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that online sales transactions at Kwala Official reflect the principles of the Salam contract, characterized by advance payment before receiving the goods, clear product information, and guaranteed delivery times. Furthermore, the implementation of the Salam contract is further strengthened by the marketplace system, which provides advance payment facilities, return policies, and refund mechanisms, thus providing protection for buyers. The study also identified supporting factors, such as clear product descriptions and good store management, as well as inhibiting factors such as shipping delays caused by the shipping company, differences in product appearance, and marketplace technical issues. Overall, transaction practices at Kwala Official comply with the terms and conditions of the Salam contract from a Sharia perspective.

This study examines the influence of e-commerce developments on the consumption patterns of Generation Z in Indonesia, the first generation to grow up in the digital era with widespread access to technology, the internet, and social media. Using a literature review method and a qualitative descriptive approach, this study analyzes various factors influencing Gen Z's consumption behavior through e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Tokopedia, and TikTok Shop. The findings indicate that easy access, attractive promotions such as flash sales, and interactions through social media encourage impulsive consumer behavior. However, e-commerce also has a positive impact in the form of opportunities for the development of digital MSMEs that empower the younger generation economically. Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of online shopping, changing consumption patterns and opening new opportunities for MSMEs. The main challenge faced is the risk of impulsive buying, which can lead to financial and mental health problems. Therefore, financial literacy education and digital marketing regulations are essential to shaping healthy and sustainable consumption patterns for Generation Z. This study provides insights for the government, business actors, and the public in optimizing the benefits of e-commerce while minimizing its negative impacts.

Public communication in efforts to prevent drug abuse faces increasingly complex challenges in the digital era, particularly in reaching young people who are strongly influenced by social media and the dynamics of their social environment. This study aims to analyze the communication strategies implemented by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Surakarta City in carrying out the Drug Abuse Prevention, Eradication, and Illicit Trafficking Program (P4GN) oriented toward the younger generation. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with public relations staff of BNN Surakarta City, as well as a review of program documents and communication materials. The data were analyzed using content analysis and validated through source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that BNN’s communication strategies include audience segmentation based on age and educational level, the utilization of digital media such as Instagram and TikTok, and collaboration with local public figures, micro-influencers, and youth communities. Peer-based and participatory communication approaches are considered more effective than one-way, purely informative communication patterns. Nevertheless, limitations in human resources and budget, along with the rapid flow of digital information, remain the main challenges in program implementation. This study emphasizes the importance of persuasive, adaptive, and contextual communication strategies to enhance the effectiveness of P4GN campaigns among the younger generation.

On the effectiveness of using social media as a marketing channel for MSMEs in Balikpapan. MSMEs play a major role in the national and regional economy, but developments in digital technology have caused marketing patterns to change drastically from traditional methods to online media. Social media such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X are now effective marketing tools because they are able to reach a wide audience at a low cost. However, this effectiveness is highly dependent on content quality, consistent interaction, and the right marketing strategy. Although social media offers many opportunities, MSMEs in Balikpapan still face various obstacles, such as limited human resources with an understanding of digital content, a lack of ability to read marketing metrics, and limited advertising budgets. In addition, research on the effectiveness of social media on MSMEs, especially in Balikpapan, is still minimal. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the extent to which MSMEs utilize social media, assess its effectiveness through indicators such as reach, interaction, and sales, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The results of this study are expected to provide strategic recommendations for MSMEs and theoretical contributions to the development of digital marketing models.
