Household financial management is a crucial factor in maintaining family financial stability, particularly in the face of economic uncertainty. This study examines the strategies employed by households in managing their finances, including budgeting, expenditure control, savings, and investment, as well as the challenges encountered during economic crises. Through a combination of literature review and case studies, the research reveals that households with clear financial planning and adequate emergency funds are more resilient in times of crisis, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Factors such as income levels, education, and financial literacy significantly influence household financial decisions, while consumption patterns driven by social media often present a challenge. Effective strategies identified include strict budgeting, reducing non-essential expenditures, and prioritizing long-term savings and investments. This study underscores the importance of financial literacy and awareness in household financial management as key to achieving financial stability amidst global and domestic economic uncertainties.

This study explores the political impacts of citizenship policy changes on Indonesia’s diplomatic relationships, particularly in the context of globalization and the movement of its diaspora. Indonesia currently maintains a single citizenship policy, preventing its citizens from holding dual nationality. This restriction often complicates the legal and emotional connections of Indonesians living abroad with their home country, while also limiting their economic contributions through remittances and investments. Conversely, many nations have adopted dual citizenship policies to maintain stronger connections with their diaspora and enhance their diplomatic influence. Using a qualitative approach with case studies focusing on countries with large Indonesian diasporas, such as Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, this research highlights the potential benefits of dual citizenship. The findings indicate that allowing dual citizenship could strengthen Indonesia’s diplomatic ties and increase economic contributions from overseas Indonesians. However, there are challenges to implementation, including concerns over divided loyalty and complexities in legal enforcement. This paper suggests that Indonesia consider a carefully controlled introduction of dual citizenship, taking into account legal protections, economic benefits, and the role of the diaspora in promoting Indonesia’s interests abroad.

This research focuses on the application of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) based investments in Indonesia, which emerged in response to the increasing global awareness of environmental and sustainability issues. While ESG in Indonesia is growing, many companies have yet to fully adopt these principles effectively, and there are epistemological challenges in understanding and translating ESG standards into the local policy context. The purpose of this research is to deeply analyze the concept and implementation of ESG-based investment from an epistemological perspective in Indonesian public policy. This research wants to identify the extent to which the Indonesian government understands and utilizes ESG-related information in investment policy and evaluate the effectiveness of the policy. The type of research is descriptive quantitative using a philosophical approach with literature study as a secondary data source, including policy documents, government reports, and academic publications related to ESG. The data is explored using concept analysis and existing theories to assess the application of ESG in economic policy. The findings show that although Indonesia has ESG-related policies, their implementation is often influenced by international pressure and legitimacy needs rather than real impact on sustainability. ESG policies in Indonesia also risk becoming a tool of “greenwashing,” where companies use it for image without concrete actions. This research recommends increased transparency and accountability in ESG reporting for such policies to deliver substantial change.

Measuring performance solely by relying on returns is probably not enough, it is important to consider both returns and risks. Some measurement methods that consider both of these factors are the Sharpe Ratio index, Treynor Ratio, Jensen Alpha, and Information Ratio. Risk analysis using Value at Risk Monte Carlo simulation is also important to determine the potential for extreme risks. The purpose of this study is to provide a good understanding of the performance and risk of mutual fund investments. Based on the performance results, Schroder is the most superior mutual fund, with the highest Information Ratio, Sharpe Ratio, and Jensen Ratio, indicating that they are able to generate good returns considering the risks taken. However, Schroder also has the highest VaR, meaning it has the potential for large losses in the worst market conditions. On the other hand, MNC is at the bottom in almost all performance methods, indicating poor performance with low returns and lower risks.

The purpose of this study is to develop a predictive model to predict the trend of the emas price over time and to investigate how this affects important economic variables. As a popular commodity that is regarded as a safe refuge for investments, changes in the price of emas can have a significant impact on a number of economic indicators, such as inflation, consumer spending, and investment decisions. Compiling historical data on emas prices, macroeconomic variables, and other related topics is a component of research methodology. Regression analysis and ARIMA modeling are two methods of deret waktu analysis that can be used to create an andal model of problems. The model's predictive accuracy is then determined by using appropriate statistical metrics. This study's findings provide new and important information about the factors influencing changes in the price of emas and how they affect the economy as a whole. The model that is being used can be used by investors, financial institutions, and policymakers to predict gold price movements and make informed decisions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. The implications of this research extend all the way to the emas market since it increases our understanding of the close relationship between commodity prices and economic dynamics. The knowledge gained can help create more comprehensive investment and economic policies, which will eventually affect the stability of the economy and economic growth.

Investment is a type of economic activity. Behind all wealth there is zakat. If wealth is not used in a useful way, it can be taken away by zakat over time. One of the good things about zakat is that it encourages all Muslims to use their money in ways that are productive. Only the profits from investments are subject to zakat, not the assets themselves. Everyone should know about the ethics of investing to make sure they don’t invest in things that are not allowed in Islam. Not knowing about Islamic investment can lead people to make bad decisions and act in ways that go against Islamic law. The desire for big profits is one reason people might make wrong choices. Investment is a kind of business, and it has risks because it involves uncertain things, which can lead to uncertain or unstable results. Islam encourages people to take action and be prepared through investing. Putting money in an Islamic bank is also considered an investment because the outcome is not certain.

This study explores the dynamics of digital investment in Indonesia within the framework of Islamic economics. The rapid advancement of technology has facilitated the growth of Sharia-compliant investments through digital platforms, making investment more accessible to the Muslim population. This research categorizes several prominent types of Sharia-compliant digital investments, including Online Sharia Mutual Funds, Sharia-Compliant Stocks, UMKM Crowdfunding, Digital Gold, and Online Sharia Property. Each type is evaluated based on its adherence to Islamic principles, legal regulations, and associated risks and opportunities. The study finds that while digital investment platforms offer considerable accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring Sharia compliance remains a challenge amid evolving regulations and technological innovations. Furthermore, the study addresses the regulatory frameworks that oversee these investment types, such as POJK regulations and MUI fatwas, which play a crucial role in maintaining compliance. This research contributes to the ongoing development of Islamic digital finance in Indonesia, providing insights for regulators, platform providers, and investors who seek to expand Sharia-compliant digital investments responsibly.

This article discusses community empowerment efforts to improve capital market inclusion through financial literacy education, utilization of digital technology, and increased access to capital market products and services. It highlights the importance of early financial education, as well as the role of university students in providing training to communities, especially in remote areas. In addition, collaboration between the government, financial institutions, and financial technology (fintech) is needed to expand the reach of capital markets and increase public participation in safer and more sustainable investments.

This study examines the interaction between conservative financial reporting and managerial incentives in decision-making, using a qualitative approach through a literature review. Conservative financial reporting plays a crucial role in enhancing the transparency and accuracy of information utilized by managers in the decision-making process. On the other hand, optimally designed managerial incentives can encourage managers to value and utilize the accounting information presented conservatively. The findings indicate that accounting conservatism can reduce the risk of inappropriate decision-making, although it may also pose potential risks of avoidance towards necessary investments for company growth. This research provides insights into the importance of balancing the implementation of conservative financial reporting and managerial incentives, as well as its implications for corporate performance. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for company management in designing more effective incentive systems and reporting.

Migration and remittances have long been recognized as critical components of rural development and poverty alleviation, particularly in developing countries. This study explores the impact of migration flows and remittance patterns on local economies, focusing on their role in poverty reduction, community resilience, and sustainable rural development. Migration, particularly rural-to-urban and international migration, brings significant financial flows in the form of remittances, which improve household welfare by supporting basic needs such as food, education, and healthcare. Moreover, these remittances often stimulate local investment, particularly in agriculture and small businesses, contributing to economic diversification in rural areas. However, the effectiveness of these financial transfers varies regionally, with some areas experiencing greater benefits than others due to differences in infrastructure, financial services, and migration policies. While remittances contribute to poverty reduction and socio-economic stability, they are often underutilized for long-term investments due to their primary use for consumption rather than productive projects. Government assistance programs, on the other hand, focus on structural poverty alleviation but often face challenges in terms of reach, effectiveness, and sustainability in rural areas. This study concludes with policy recommendations aimed at maximizing the impact of remittances, including reducing transaction costs, encouraging investment, and improving financial inclusion in rural communities. Additionally, it suggests further research into the role of migration policies in facilitating remittances and enhancing their developmental impact. The findings underscore the importance of integrating migration and remittance-focused strategies into national rural development plans to foster sustainable economic growth and reduce rural poverty.
