XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces Yamaha brand motorbike parts such as electrical switches, electrical sockets, lever assembly and horns. Many of the products sent were returned by customers because they did not meet quality standards, for example in March 2024 there were 1,420 pcs out of a total of 19,900 pcs that were returned. This means that companies have to increase production time and costs to replace defective products that are returned because they do not have safety stock. Forecasting is needed to control the production system so that it does not experience over stock and safety stock shortages. This research aims to provide recommendations for forecasting methods that companies can use to minimize the occurrence of production excesses and shortages in the company. Forecasting is done based on historical company sales data for 12 months. The method used is the exponential smoothing method which is then tested whether this method can be used in the future. This calculation uses the help of POM-QM (Production Operation Management – Quantitative Method) software. Calculations are carried out by testing the MAD, MSE, and MAPE values to obtain calculation error values. The results obtained by forecasting the main sw srtg lock assembly product using the exponential smoothing method were 15,708 for demand for the next period, MAD 3.38, MSE 22.84 and MAPE value 26%. Based on these results, the exponential smoothing method can be a recommendation for companies to forecast future demand. This is because the value of forecasting accuracy or MAPE is reasonable. The smallest percentage of MAPE values has a fairly minimal possibility of error in forecasting results.

This study examines the selection of an optimal underwater monitoring system for early detection of submarines in the ALKI II region. ALKI II is known as a strategic area that requires intensive monitoring to protect maritime security and national interests. The main focus of the study is to analyze various technical, operational, and economic factors that influence the selection of an underwater monitoring system. Through a comprehensive analysis approach, this study considers the detection capability, resolution, and adaptability of the diverse marine environment in the ALKI II region. Various types of underwater monitoring systems are evaluated, including passive sonar, active sonar, and visual monitoring systems. Passive sonar uses sound signal reception from targets, while active sonar sends signals and detects the reflected signals. Visual monitoring systems rely on cameras and other optical equipment. The decision to select a system is based on a thorough analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of each system. Passive sonar, for example, excels in quiet environments but may be less effective in high sea noise. On the other hand, active sonar may be more accurate but can be detected by submarines equipped with anti-sonar technology. This study provides useful guidance for decision makers in determining the optimal underwater monitoring system for the ALKI II region. By considering technical, operational and economic factors, it is hoped that the results of this research can improve early detection capabilities for submarines and strengthen maritime security in the region.

This journal highlights that Daud shows an example that can be learned from various aspects of his leadership. Daud, as a God-fearing leader, placed God at the center of all his actions. He showed that loyalty and ability were more important than blood relations, and prioritized God's will in choosing leaders. Daud is also a leader who wants to listen, both the voice of God and the aspirations of his subordinates. He was an aspirational leader, stepping down from his throne to listen to the complaints and suggestions of the people. Daud also knew his messenger, the Lord, and knew and understood his people. He always asks God in every action, and does not act arbitrarily according to his own will.
