The world of education has undergone major changes since the advent of technology and the internet. Most students prefer new learning methods brought by technology rather than listening and writing in class which are considered outdated. The presence of technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) should be able to overcome the weakness of conventional learning methods and make it more interesting for students. Conventional learning activities in class such as writing and taking notes can be replaced by AI which is designed to perform tasks like humans. Therefore, this study was conducted by developing a system for recording and summarizing lectures using AI technology. The system development process uses the waterfall method as a guide, while the system modeling is created using the UML method. The application of AI technology into conventional learning methods can create a more interactive class by setting aside student's tasks like writing and taking notes, creating more interaction with the lecturer, resulting in a higher quality of education.

The Ripple Mill machine is one of the vital components in a Palm Oil Mill (PKS) that functions to separate the palm kernel from its shell. This process is very important because the quality and quantity of the palm kernel produced will directly affect the economic value and production efficiency in the palm oil industry. At PTPN IV Regional II Plantation Unit and Adolina PKS, various technical problems were found that caused a decrease in machine performance, including rotor bars and square bars that experienced wear due to age and improper machine settings. In addition, other damage that often occurs is a broken van belt due to age and excessive tension, feeder motor dysfunction caused by excessive load, and motor overheating that occurs due to age and high workload. To overcome these problems, this study uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. This method aims to identify various potential failures, assess the severity, frequency of occurrence, and detection capability, so that the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value can be calculated as a basis for repair priorities. The results showed that worn rotor bars and worn square bars had the highest RPN values, each at 280, equivalent to 40.23% of the total identified risks. This indicates that these two components are critical points requiring immediate repair and maintenance attention. Applying FMEA in this context provides tangible benefits, including helping the company formulate a more targeted maintenance strategy, reducing the risk of recurring damage, and minimizing downtime that impacts production. With more systematic maintenance, operational efficiency can be improved while extending the lifespan of the Ripple Mill machine.

The implementation of ballast water management is a very important strategic step in preventing marine environmental pollution, because ship ballast water often becomes a route for the spread of invasive alien species that have the potential to disrupt the balance of the ecosistem, harm the maritime economic sector, and endanger human health. This study focuses on ballast water management practices on the MT Timur Laut Mas 2 ship, with the aim of assessing how the procedures are implemented in order to prevent the entry of alien species, reviewing the implementation of both international and national regulations, and evaluating the performance of the Ballast Water Management Sistem (BWMS) technology applied. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method based on a case study, with data collection through interviews with ship crews and company management, direct observation on board the ship, technical documentation, and a review of supporting literature. The results of the study show that the implementation of the IMO Ballast Water Management Convention (BWMC) regulations on ships has been realized through the preparation of a Ballast Water Management Plan, detailed recording in the Ballast Water Record Book, and the use of a BWMS that relies on filtration technology and ultraviolet radiation. However, the implementation still encounters obstacles in the form of limited crew understanding of system operation, variations in water quality along the shipping route that affect filtration effectiveness, and technical obstacles in equipment maintenance. Therefore, a combination of compliance with international regulations, improving crew competency through continuous training, and optimizing sistem operations are key factors in strengthening the effectiveness of ballast water management. These findings confirm that the application of modern technology in accordance with regulatory requirements can enhance marine ecosistem protection while ensuring the sustainability of the maritime industry, thus positively contributing to environmental sustainability and the stability.

In Indonesia, approximately 70 million people live in malaria-endemic areas, putting them at risk of transmitting the disease to others. Geographic information systems (GIS) are essential tools for mapping and visualizing spatial characteristics, as well as analyzing detailed information. GIS first developed in the late 1950s and has been used in various industries, such as oil and gas, telecommunications, as well as agriculture, forestry, and green open spaces (RTH). This study employed a narrative literature review method, synthesizing previously published information on GIS in green open spaces. The results showed that the classification of aerial imagery using GIS can be divided into two main classes: 'private green spaces' and 'others'. This study focused on finding a significant amount of urban green space in informal settlements, which cover more than 10% of the area. The increase in the number of informal settlements is directly proportional to the increase in private green space. The study also noted that poor communities have access to urban green spaces, which can improve their quality of life. Identification and management of green spaces in informal settlements can strengthen residents' self-confidence and reduce the gap between formal and informal areas in cities.

This study discusses the implementation of the effectiveness of legal oversight of regional personnel management in the era of regional autonomy. Regional autonomy grants broad authority to regional governments to regulate and manage public interests, including in the management of state civil servants (ASN). However, this authority often gives rise to problems, such as nepotism, politically motivated job transfers, and weak accountability in personnel management. Legal oversight is an important instrument to ensure that all personnel policies and practices are implemented in accordance with the principles of legality, professionalism, and accountability. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory, conceptual, and case approach, as well as qualitative analysis of regulations and personnel oversight practices. The results of the study indicate that the effectiveness of legal oversight is greatly influenced by the consistency of regulatory implementation, the strength of supervisory institutions such as the State Civil Service Commission (KASN) and the State Civil Service Agency (BKN), and the legal culture of regional apparatus. Strict enforcement of sanctions against violations also plays an important role in maintaining the integrity of the merit system. The conclusion of this study confirms that effective legal oversight can prevent abuse of authority, strengthen the professionalism of civil servants (ASN), and support the achievement of regional autonomy goals, namely improving the quality of public services and public welfare. Therefore, strengthening regulations, supervisory institutions, and internalizing the values of good governance are necessary to realize transparent, accountable, and integrity-based regional personnel management.

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common health problems among the elderly and can significantly reduce quality of life due to complications such as systemic infections, kidney disorders, and recurrent infections. Older adults often do not recognize early symptoms of UTIs, as the manifestations are atypical and frequently mistaken as part of the normal aging process. The Community Service Program (PKM) conducted at Panti Werdha Hana aimed to increase elderly awareness of the importance of early UTI detection through urinalysis as a screening method. This activity was carried out using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach, which included urine testing for leukocyte esterase, nitrites, and protein, as well as educational sessions on UTI risk factors and prevention strategies. Among the 76 participants examined, 2 individuals (3.08%) tested positive for leukocyte esterase and 1 individual (1.54%) tested positive for nitrites, indicating potential infection. These findings suggest that simple urin tests can serve as an effective initial step in detecting UTIs early and promoting timely interventions to maintain urinary tract health and improve the overall quality of life in the elderly.

Technology is now increasingly advanced and developing rapidly. Almost every aspect of human life is now assisted by technology, especially computerized technology. This technology has penetrated almost all aspects of life and significantly increased efficiency in completing work. With the existence of computerized technology, many processes that were previously time-consuming and labor-intensive can now be done more quickly, easily, and efficiently. One example of the application of technology in everyday life is the design of a smart cupboard for storing shallots. This smart cupboard is designed to help shallot farmers and sellers store their agricultural products more efficiently. The working system of this tool is similar to the method of storing shallots in traditional huts, but with more sophisticated technology. This smart cupboard can regulate temperature and humidity automatically, which is very important to maintain the quality of shallots. The optimal temperature for storing shallots is between 25º - 30º C, with air humidity around 50% - 60%. If the temperature or humidity in the cupboard does not match the desired conditions, the system will automatically activate the lights and fans to return the temperature and humidity to the desired level. With this automated control system, shallots can be kept fresh for longer, reducing the damage that typically occurs to shallots due to unstable temperature or humidity. The advantage of this smart cabinet is that it can maintain the quality of shallots for a long time, even when stored in large quantities. This greatly assists farmers and traders in reducing losses due to perishable shallots and increasing the efficiency of shallot storage and distribution.

Emesis gravidarum, characterized by nausea and vomiting during the first trimester of pregnancy, affects up to 80% of pregnant women. Although typically considered a normal physiological condition, persistent symptoms can significantly impact daily activities, nutritional intake, and quality of life. Concerns over fetal safety with pharmacological treatments have led to the exploration of non-pharmacological interventions, such as aromatherapy. Lemon (Citrus limon) aromatherapy, which contains limonene, is believed to reduce nausea by stimulating the limbic system through olfactory pathways. This observational study, conducted at Manembo-nembo Hospital in Bitung City in 2025, involved 30 first-trimester pregnant women selected through purposive sampling. The severity of emesis gravidarum was assessed using the Pregnancy-Unique Quantification of Emesis and Nausea (PUQE) questionnaire before and after lemon aromatherapy. Results showed that most participants were aged 20–35 years (73.33%) and in the early first trimester (≤10 weeks). After lemon aromatherapy, the severity of nausea and vomiting decreased, with most participants shifting from moderate or severe to mild symptoms. Statistical analysis revealed a moderate negative correlation between lemon aromatherapy and the severity of emesis gravidarum (r = −0.586; p = 0.001). In conclusion, lemon aromatherapy was significantly associated with a reduction in nausea and vomiting severity in early pregnancy. This intervention offers a safe, simple, and complementary option in antenatal care to enhance maternal comfort during the first trimester.
