Mahdah worship holds a central position in Islamic teachings as a pure form of servitude to Allah SWT. Due to its tauqifi nature, the implementation of mahdah worship must strictly adhere to the provisions of the Sharia without additions or modifications. This study aims to examine and analyze specific fiqh principles that serve as guidelines in the practice of mahdah worship. A qualitative method with a library research approach was employed, through an in-depth review of classical and contemporary literature related to fiqh principles. The findings indicate that principles such as "the default rule in worship is tauqifi," "purity is not limited by time," and "no analogy (qiyas) applies to acts of worship whose rationale is unknown" function to safeguard the authenticity of worship practices from deviation. Understanding these principles is crucial to prevent innovations (bid‘ah) and to ensure that every act of worship remains aligned with Sharia directives. Furthermore, mastery of these principles assists muftis and jurists in issuing consistent and coherent fatwas. The implications of this study highlight the significance of fiqh education in strengthening the community’s awareness of authentic worship and providing a solid framework for evaluating religious practices amidst contemporary socio-religious dynamics.

The phenomenon of online loans has emerged as a financial innovation that transforms the pattern of access to funds within urban communities. The convenience of obtaining loans without complex requirements has contributed to the rise of a consumerist lifestyle, especially among the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the correlation between the use of online loans and the dynamics of consumerist lifestyles in urban society. By employing a literature review and descriptive-qualitative analysis methods, the research reveals that low financial literacy, social pressure, and the influence of social media intensify the tendency toward instant loan-based consumerist behavior. Psychological factors such as FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and the philosophy of YOLO (You Only Live Once) further reinforce this consumerist behavioral pattern. The results of the study show that the phenomenon of online loans not only impacts financial issues but also causes psychological stress and shapes compulsive consumption patterns.

The growth of the digital sector during the Coronavirus Disease (COVID) 19 pandemic has an impact on how individuals use technology and behave in social situations, introducing new work opportunities.  However, work participation in the digital industry based on gender at the global level is still significant which can have an impact on gender gaps and the role of female workers. In terms of access to production and distribution of roles, female workers in the digital industry make widespread similarities with the presence of male workers. In-depth research is required to understand whether or not there is a gender gap in the digital industry, especially in the context of Indonesia, as a modern phenomenon. Previous studies have begun to discuss gender participation in non-digital industries, such as the garment sector, but have not yet discussed the dynamics of the gender gap and the role of women. This study utilizes social role theory to quantify the extent of the gender gap and the dynamics of women's roles in industrial technology. This study examines 3 female workers in 3 distinct digital technology companies using a qualitative method and a multiple case study approach. The results of this study reveals that the digital technology industry in the education, technology, and transportation sector is inclusive and promotes the role of women despite the fact that woman constitute a minority of workers. The role of women is supported by the equal of expectations towards the role of female workers, including the system of labor allocation and rewards that do not take gender into account. This research can further serve as a reference for other digital enterprise sectors and other industries when developing policies and programs to support and enhance the work role of women.

Mahmud Village, located in Bandung Regency, is one of the indigenous communities that continues to uphold its customary laws and traditions amidst the tide of modernization. This research aims to explore and analyze the political position and role of customary law within this community, with a focus on how customary norms and rules are implemented, maintained, and passed down amidst the dynamics of social change and interactions with state law. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with customary leaders, community members, and government officials, and a review of relevant literature. The research results indicate that customary law holds a highly significant and respected position among the residents of Mahmud Village. The customary figure, known as the "Kuncen," holds the highest authority in enforcing customary law, leading traditional ceremonies, and resolving various disputes, ranging from marriage and inheritance matters, ceremonial procedures, to mediation mechanisms between residents. Although customary law has strong social power, its application is not entirely independent of the influence of state law, particularly in cases that intersect with criminal law or national legislation. These findings reveal a process of adaptation, where the Mahmud Village indigenous community strives to maintain traditional values while adapting customary rules to remain relevant to current demands. This research confirms that customary law functions not only as a social regulatory system but also as a bulwark of cultural identity and a vital instrument for the sustainability of indigenous communities. Therefore, understanding and recognizing customary law is crucial for maintaining harmony between local traditions and the national legal framework.
