This paper discusses the industrialization strategy with a focus on the pattern of Small and Medium Industries (IKM) and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Industrialization has become one of the important efforts to drive a country's economic growth. In the Indonesian context, SMEs and SMEs have a significant role in economic development and job creation. This paper outlines existing patterns in the SMI and MSMEs industry in Indonesia, and describes strategies that can be used to encourage the industrialization of these sectors. In this analysis, several important factors will be discussed, including government policy support, infrastructure development, access to capital and technology, and capacity building and training.

Globalization becomes inevitable for almost all aspects of life, especially in the industrial sector. Globalization has brought the industry to experience a structural transformation that focuses on technology. The structural transformation experienced by the industrial sector may have positive and negative effects, not only for the industry itself, but for the surrounding communities and the environment. The research method used in this research is initiative descriptive qualitatively by writing observation written, with data in the form of field notes. Technological advances are tested on the areas of the industry, is; Production, Research and Development / Research and Development (R & D), operational management, logistics and supply chain management, finance and accounting, human resources (HR), marketing and sales, information technology (IT), laws and compliance, and customer service

Betel leaves contain phenols that function as powerful antiseptics. Hand sanitizer (HS) is a product that can kill parasites on the hands and is easy to use. Therefore, in this event, education will be provided to the students of SMK Farmasi Surabaya regarding the benefits of betel leaves, followed by a training session on making hand sanitizers containing extract. The participant's level of understanding is evaluated by comparing the scores obtained before and after receiving information from the speaker. A questionnaire is given to allow participants to evaluate the overall conduct of the event, and they are invited to try the hand sanitizers prepared by the team. The results show that 76% of the participants achieved higher scores, 24% maintained the same scores, and none of the participants received lower scores compared to the pre-test. Overall, the participants expressed that the event was very beneficial.

This study aims to analyze the orientation strategy of the Surabaya city manufacturing industry. The method usedin this research is descriptive qualitative method. Source of data usedderived from secondary data through literature review or what is called a studyliterature collected by the researchers themselves through websites, journals, bulletins, for example taken from the Statistics Agency, company or organizational documents, newspapers and magazines, or other publications. Currently the manufacturing industry in Surabaya continues to experience increased productivity and business expansion after experiencing a decline due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This increase is inseparable from the increasing demand for an increasingly varied market, which has become a driving force for business players to grow and meet market needs. This is what is used in the manufacturing industry, namely market orientation, which includes customer orientation, competitor orientation, coordination between functions, and technology orientation. When a company is market oriented, it shows that the company pays attention to its consumers. Market orientation can be seen from customer orientation and competitor orientation. Customer orientation by researchers is placed as the highest priority in terms of providing superior values to customers.  

Prosperity is always the main target of every government. However, methods to measure prosperity are debatable. Several people argue that the poverty standard from United Nations is valid-enough to decide if people have fulfilled their needs. This measurement does not acknowledge that people also have wants and need to fulfill them. I decided to research Surabaya to understand the prosperity issues by using Purchasing Power Parity theory, the ability of people in Surabaya to fulfill their secondary wants by measuring the total marketing of housing and automobiles, and comparing the economic growth indicator of Surabaya.    

The report on the career paths of alums from Public Vocational High School 6 Surabaya between 2019 and 2022 shows that alums pursuing careers as entrepreneurs are lower than those becoming employees. This study aims to determine the intrinsic and extrinsic factors and their simultaneous influence on the interest in entrepreneurship of 12th-grade students in the Culinary  2 class at Public Vocational High School 6 Surabaya. The research used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach and examined the impact of intrinsic and extrinsic factors, both individually and simultaneously, on student's entrepreneurial interests. The population of this study consisted of 30 students in the 12th-grade Culinary 2 class at Public Vocational High School 6 Surabaya. The data was collected using a validated questionnaire comprising 30 items. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The results indicated that intrinsic factors did not influence student's interest in entrepreneurship. Contrarily, the extrinsic factors did have an influence. Furthermore, intrinsic and extrinsic factors simultaneously influence student's interest in entrepreneurship. Therefore, students at Public Vocational High School 6 Surabaya tend to be interested in entrepreneurship due to the encouragement they receive from their environment, including their family, community, and school. Moreover, the student's willingness and interest also played a supporting role. Thus, student's interest in pursuing careers as entrepreneurs can evolve if there is support from all parties.

This journal investigates industrial strategies that are relevant in the context of macroeconomics in the city of Surabaya. Surabaya, as one of the largest cities in Indonesia, has an important role in industrial development and national economic growth. The purpose of this study is to analyze various industrial strategies that can be used to strengthen the city's macro-economy. The research method used in this study involves the analysis of secondary data obtained from reliable sources, including government reports, industry case studies, and related literature. Based on the data analysis, several industrial strategies that have proven effective in influencing the macro-economy in the city of Surabaya are identified and evaluated..

The industrial sector is a strategic sector in the development of the national economy to address the problem of unemployment. In economic opportunities, being able to provide opportunities related to the management of material, resources, individuals, society, and the state for the welfare of human life so that there are no drastic economic disparities. The purpose of this study is to find out how important the industrial sector is in economic opportunities in the city of Surabaya. The research method used is quantitative method is data measured on a numerical scale (number) for data collection by means of secondary analysis where the data is obtained from other parties and indirectly from the research subject. Usually secondary data in the form of documentation or report data that has been available.

Employee performance is the result of work in quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out their duties in accordance with the responsibilities they provide (Mangkunegara, 2009:9). The demand for high employee performance has indeed become a part of all companies. However, the current facts show that not all employees have high performance according to company expectations. There are still many employees who have low performance, as happened to Bank Jatim Surabaya employees in the initial findings in the field which showed that some employees of Bank Jatim Surabaya experienced problems related to performance as seen from not achieving targets on marketing employees.

This research aims to examine the influence of organizational climate and emotional intelligence on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable at PT. Indo Bismar Surabaya. The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling, specifically Simple Random Sampling, with a sample size of 53 employees. Data collection was conducted through interviews and the distribution of questionnaires via Google Forms. The research method was assisted by the Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique using Smart PLS software version 4.0.8.6. The hypothesis testing results indicate the following: There is a non-significant positive influence between organizational climate and employee performance. There is a non-significant positive influence between emotional intelligence and employee performance. There is a significant positive influence between organizational climate and motivation. There is a significant positive influence between emotional intelligence and motivation. There is a significant positive influence between motivation and employee performance. There is a significant positive influence between the organizational climate variable and employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable. There is a significant positive influence between the emotional intelligence variable and employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable.    

Vocational High School (SMK) is a school level that requires substantial funding, of course, in this case, educational institutions at the vocational level must prepare good funding sources. Funding for education is basically the key to achieving the goals and quality of educational institutions. This research was conducted to find out the sources of financing used in SMK Wijaya Putra Surabaya. This study used a qualitative method with observation, interviews and documentation with the principal of SMK Wijaya Putra Surabaya. The results of this study are that Wijaya Putra Surabaya Vocational School uses three sources of funds including funds from (1) the government, (2) funds from students, and (3) funds from students' parents. The management standards for Wijaya Putra Surabaya Vocational School are in accordance with the existing guidelines.

Industri kecil dan Menengah (IKM) merupakan salah satu sektor yang penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Kita menyadar bahwa pengembangan IKM didaerah sangat erat kaitnya dengan otonomi daera. Kecamatan rungkut memiliki jumlah Industri Menengah dan Industri Rumah Tangga sejumlah 1.219 . Kecamatan Rungkut mengalamikenaikan industri kecil dan industri rumah tangga pada pertengahan covid-19, industri kecil dan rumahan sebagian besar dibidang makanan dan kerajinan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah adalah untuk mengetahui pola spasial IKM dan IRT di kecamatan rungkut, dengan metode yang akan digunakandidalam penelitian ini ada beberapa metode yaitu teknik pengumpulan data, teknis analisis data, populasi dan sampel dan metoe pengumpulan data. Untuk hasil yang didapatan dalam penelitian ini adalah industri kecil dan rumah tangga memiliki karakteristik sebagai industri dengan kekayaan sebesar Rp.200.000.000,- (dua ratus juta rupiah) yang tidak termasuk tanah dan bangunan tempat usaha, hal ini diartikan sebagai modal awal berdirinya suatu usaha yang dijadikan nilai investasi, Modal awal ini mencakup biaya pengadaan peralatan maupun mesin dalam proses produsi. Industri kecil dan rumah tangga biasanya hanya menghasilkan penjualan maksimal sebesar Rp.1000.000.000,- (satu miliar rupiah) per tahunnya.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, almost all sectors were affected by the pandemic. Companies need strategies to be able to survive in the pandemic era. Public Relations is an important element in an institution and company, one of which is playing an important role in enhancing the company's positive image. This study aims to analyze and evaluate programs carried out by public relations at The Square Hotel in improving the company's good image in the pandemic era.Hotel The Square Surabaya is working with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) to carry out a vaccine package program and also a care tourism program. The purpose of this study is to analyze the two programs being undertaken by Hotel The Square Surabaya. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews.The results of the study show that the tourism care program and the vaccine package program are active strategies and apply stakeholder theory as a form of enhancing the company's positive image. Hotel The Square is also trying to carry out these activities in accordance with the program planning that has been done.    

Financing is an important component in providing education. Education costs are the amount of money generated and spent on various educational equipment which includes teacher salaries, facilities and infrastructure, administrative activities, education management activities, procurement of tools and textbooks, extracurricular activities and so on. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of utilizing financing sources in Ta'miriyah High School Surabaya. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews and observations. Financing is the most crucial thing that must be faced by education providers. In order for educational goals to be achieved, the management of education funds must be carried out properly and appropriately. This research was held at Ta'miriyah High School Surabaya, because researchers wanted to know the sources of education financing in private schools and their utilization. The results showed that the utilization of funding sources for Ta'miriyah High School Surabaya, both from School Operational Assistance funds, Operational Support Costs for Education Implementation, and Education Development Contribution funds were quite effective both in terms of personnel and non-personnel

Elderly prisoners are classified as a special vulnerable group because at that age they have decreased immunity and physical weakness so special treatment is needed. Correctional Institution must be able to fulfill the rights of elderly prisoners while they are serving their sentences. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of guidance for elderly prisoners and the obstacles faced by the Surabaya Class 1 Correctional Institution. The type of this study is empirical legal research. The results showed that the guidance for elderly prisoners at the Surabaya Class 1 Correctional Institution has not been running optimally.. This is due to budget constraints from the government, lack of human resources, insufficient infrastructure, the covid-19 pandemic, lack of support from the families of prisoners, and the difficulties of marketing the work products of prisoners. But with these obstacles, various kinds of efforts can be made to handle the problem

The high cost of education in Indonesia makes it difficult for people from the middle to lower economic classes to continue their education to a higher level. Due to budget constraints, many students decide not to continue their education to a higher level. The Indonesian government seeks a solution to deal with this problem by providing a financial assistance program in the form of KIP-K scholarships to outstanding students from the middle to lower economic classes. The KIP-K scholarship program also seeks to develop quality human resources. One of them is registered in the Education Management study program at Surabaya State University. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the provision of KIP-K scholarships has an impact on the academic performance of Surabaya State University students class of 2021 enrolled in the Education Management study program. This study uses quantitative research methods with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use normality test calculations, T tests and simple regression analysis. The results of the study state that there is an influence between the provision of KIP-K scholarships on the learning achievement of Surabaya State University Education Management students class of 2021, with a coefficient value of 54.1%.

Salah satu instansi pendidikan di Surabaya merupakan instansi yang bergerak dalam bidang perkapalan dimana praktek dilaksanakan di laboratorium. Salah satu laboratorium yaitu laboratorium motor bakar, dimana praktek selalu dilakukan dalam bengkel tersebut. Untuk memberikan kenyamanan dalam ruangan, perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap ventilasi yang terjadi dalam laboratorium motor bakar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah sistem ventilasi di laboratorium motor bakar sudah sesuai standar atau belum terhadap higiene industri. Metode penelitian melibatkan pengambilan sampel aliran laju udara di laboratorium motor bakar. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan parameter yang ada di SNI untuk menentukan efektivitas sistem ventilasi dalam mengurangi potensi penyakit akibat kerja (PAK). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sistem ventilasi yang efektif dapat secara signifikan mengurangi potensi PAK. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan sistem ventilasi di laboratorium motor bakar dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan higiene industri dan mengurangi risiko penyakit terkait pekerjaan. Hasil penelitian sistem ventilasi pada laboratorium motor bakar sudah sesuai standart dan penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya inspeksi dan perawatan berkala pada sistem ventilasi.

RKAS is a set of school action plans that cover planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring teaching and learning activities in the future. From this it can be concluded that the RKAS covers all parts of budget management, from planning to accountability. The School Activity and Budget Plan (RKAS) must be designed in accordance with established procedures. The procedures are (1) taking inventory of school programs/activities for the following year; (2) compiling action programs according to their types and priorities; (3) determine the work program and program details; (4) Prepare working papers and spreadsheets, set financial goals and budgets and bring them into standard RKAS format. This preparation procedure was also carried out at SMAN 13 Surabaya. In carrying out the procedures for preparing the Activity Plan and School Budget SMAN 13 Surabaya also includes teachers and school committees to take part in the discussion process regarding the planned school activity program design. The RKAS reporting process is also important in order to uphold the principles of accountability and transparency in an educational institution. This is also done by SMAN 13 Surabaya, this school uses two reporting processes, including mandatory reporting through an application that has been provided by the government in the form of the SIPLAH and ARKAS applications. This application is intended to oversee the management and planning of learning in schools, not only that at SMAN 13 Surabaya also do manual reporting, namely reporting to the school committee.

Kajian ini membahas tentang Metode Dakwah yang digunakan Yayasan Thoriqoh Naqsyabandiyah Kholidiyah Mujaddidiyah kepada para jamaah. Karena seiring perkembangan Teknologi yang saat ini semakin canggih, semua bisa dimanjakan oleh teknologi, terkadang kebahagiaan juga bisa didapatkan melalui teknologi. Namun ternyata itu belum cukup, karena dengan pesatnya teknologi, media sosial terkadang dapat membuat dampak buruk jika salah menggunakannya. Selain itu pengguna juga belum mendapatkan ketenangan hati, ketentraman dalam dirinya karena spiritualitas yang kurang. Maka dari itu mereka butuh adanya perbaikan diri, akhlak, serta memperkuat keimanan. Dalam hal ini metode penyampaian pesan dakwah kepada generasi muda agar mudah diterima dan dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kajian ini menggunakan metode Kualitatif Deskriptif dengan tujuan untuk menjelaskan fenomena secara mendalam. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Metode Dakwah Thoriqoh Naqsyabandiyah Kholidiyah Mujaddidiyah di kota Surabaya, serta mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat metode dakwah yang diterapkan. Sumber data diperoleh melalui hasil observasi dan wawancara terhadap da'i dan para jama'ah thoriqoh . Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa Metode Dakwah menggunakan tiga cara yakni 1. Metode ceramah 2. Metode Diskusi 3. Metode Konseling. Pengaruh dakwah thoriqoh ini yakni, jamaah muda-mudi banyak menghabiskan waktu di pondok, mengikuti kegiatan, dan dapat menerapkan kebaikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Kepemimpinan mempengaruhi orang lain, bawahan atau kelompok, dan mengarahkan tingkah laku bawahan atau kelompok untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi atau kelompok. Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja karyawan PT “X” Surabaya dan mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan PT “X” dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawannya. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini yaitu gaya kepemimpinan dengan indikator: demokratis, militeristik, dan laissez faire. Variabel dependennya yaitu kinerja karyawan dengan indikator kualitas kerja, kemampuan dalam kerjasama, penggunaan waktu yang efisien, keterampilan dan kecakapan tugas, tanggung jawab terhadap tugas, dan inisiatif karyawan. Objek penelitian ini adalah karyawan di PT “X” Surabaya. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah non probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Sampel di penelitian ini berjumlah 70 orang karyawan PT “X” Surabaya. Jenis data di penelitian ini yaitu data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sumber data di penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.
