Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have long been recognized as a vital driver of economic growth, particularly in rural areas where access to large-scale industries is limited. In Dahu Village, the community relies on local products such as melinjo as one of the main sources of livelihood. However, despite the potential of melinjo-based products, business development has been constrained by limited innovation, low product diversification, and weak marketing strategies. These challenges hinder the competitiveness of local SMEs in wider markets, especially in appealing to younger consumers who often prefer modern and innovative products. To address these challenges, the 2025 Student Work Study Program (KKM) conducted by the University of Bina Bangsa implemented a community empowerment project aimed at enhancing the capacity of SMEs in the melinjo sector. The program introduced the development of an innovative product, namely chocolate-flavored keceprek, a melinjo-based snack with a unique taste and higher market value. The initiative not only focused on product innovation but also provided comprehensive support in production techniques, hygienic and attractive packaging, logo and banner design, as well as digital marketing strategies tailored to rural entrepreneurs. The results of the activity highlight that even a relatively simple innovation can significantly increase product appeal, improve branding, and create new market opportunities. Early feedback indicated that chocolate-flavored keceprek products successfully attracted interest from younger consumers, demonstrating the importance of innovation in maintaining the relevance of traditional products. Furthermore, the project functioned as a collaborative platform where students and local communities worked together in applying entrepreneurial concepts to local potential. This synergy not only contributed to improving the competitiveness of SMEs in Dahu Village but also encouraged sustainable economic development in rural areas through innovation, creativity, and digital-based marketing.

The Dandu Bridge is one of the important infrastructures that functions as a land transportation link on the Suko-Sowominangun section, Lamongan Regency. The current condition shows that the bridge surface has suffered a lot of damage in the form of holes that can interfere with the smooth flow of traffic and endanger the safety of road users. Therefore, regular maintenance is needed so that the function of the bridge as a public facility remains optimal. One of the maintenance methods used is the Detailed Bridge Inspection Report (LPMJ), which aims to identify the condition of the bridge components as a whole. Field work practices carried out by students of the Lamongan Institute of Technology and Business in March-April 2025 are a means to understand the factors that cause damage. The results of the observation show that the damage is not only caused by structural factors, but also by non-structural aspects such as lack of awareness of road users and lack of communication with the surrounding community. Therefore, intensive education is needed for the community regarding the importance of maintaining the sustainability of the bridge's function, including the installation of proper traffic signs to minimize damage. In the LPMJ method, the upper structure components examined include floor plates, girders, and joints. Meanwhile, the lower structure includes pillars, abutments, and foundations. The bridge equipment that was observed included sidewalks, waterways, and railings. Maintenance should not only be focused on physical improvements, but also on social management that involves the active participation of the community, especially in areas with high traffic intensity. In conclusion, the maintenance efforts of the Dandu Bridge require an integrated approach that combines technical improvements and social empowerment, so that the sustainability of its function can be maintained for the long term.

In the midst of increasing organizational competition, issues of low organizational commitment remain prevalent, including at the Office of Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, and Settlement Areas of Bali Province, as indicated by a high absenteeism rate and ineffective work behaviors. These problems are suspected to be influenced by inadequate training methods, low self-efficacy among employees, and a lack of job satisfaction. The present study explores the extent to which employee training and perceived self-efficacy contribute to fostering organizational commitment, with job satisfaction positioned as an intervening construct. Conducted within the context of the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing, and Settlement Agency of Bali Province, the research engaged a workforce population of 610 individuals. Through the application of the Slovin formula, a representative sample of 86 respondents was identified. Data were gathered through a combination of structured questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and document review. Analytical processing was undertaken using path analysis to model the causal relationships among variables. The empirical evidence revealed that both training initiatives and self-efficacy perceptions have a favorable and statistically significant relationship with employees’ commitment to the organization. These two factors were also found to positively affect job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction emerged as a critical determinant that reinforces organizational commitment. The analysis further supports the mediating role of job satisfaction, demonstrating that the influence of training and self-efficacy on organizational commitment is also conveyed indirectly through improved job satisfaction levels. The findings of this study highlight the importance of investing in employee development through effective training programs and boosting self-efficacy to enhance job satisfaction.

Cassava tape is a traditional fermented product widely consumed in Indonesia, especially in rural areas. It is produced from cassava (Manihot esculenta) through the activity of microorganisms during the fermentation process. The presence of microbes in this process plays a crucial role in the flavor, aroma, texture, and final quality of the product. The microorganisms involved, including bacteria, molds, and yeasts, work synergistically to break down the carbohydrate components of cassava into simpler products, resulting in the sweet taste and distinctive aroma of tape. This study aimed to identify and characterize the microbes present in cassava tape through isolation and microscopic staining using safranin. The isolation process involved several stages: sequential sample dilution, inoculation onto Nutrient Agar (NA) media using the pour method, and incubation at 37°C for 24 hours. The growing microbial colonies were observed macroscopically, then collected and subjected to simple safranin staining to determine the shape and distribution pattern of the microbial cells microscopically. Observations revealed colonies with diverse morphologies, including rod-shaped (bacilli) and spherical (cocci), evenly distributed across the observation area. This indicates that cassava tape contains microorganisms of various morphologies that play a role in the fermentation process. Simple safranin staining has been shown to provide an initial overview of the presence and form of microbes, although further identification to the genus or species level requires further tests such as Gram staining, biochemical tests, and molecular analysis. These findings open up opportunities for further in-depth research into consumption safety, the functional role of microbes in tape fermentation, and its potential use as a source of natural probiotics in traditional fermented foods.

The implementation of digitalization in the healthcare sector through the Integrated Referral sistem (Sistem Informasi Rujukan Terintegrasi/SISRUTE) offers significant opportunities to expand access and improve the quality of healthcare services, especially in remote and underserved areas of Indonesia. This paper aims to analyze the challenges of implementing SISRUTE from a legal perspective, focusing on the principle of equitable healthcare access. The study uses a normative juridical approach combined with literature analysis, examining national regulations, including Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health, Government Regulation No. 47 of 2021 on Hospital Administration, and supporting ministerial policies. The research identifies several barriers that hinder the effectiveness of SISRUTE implementation, such as uneven distribution of digital infrastructure, limited internet connectivity, lack of adequately trained healthcare personnel, and the absence of supporting local regulations that align with national policy frameworks. These challenges create disparities in the utilization of SISRUTE, particularly in rural and remote areas, undermining the constitutional mandate for equal access to health services. From a legal standpoint, the principle of equity in healthcare has yet to be fully realized through SISRUTE due to these systemic gaps. The study concludes that strategic efforts are needed to improve intergovernmental coordination, harmonize health and digital regulations, strengthen healthcare workers' digital competencies, and invest in robust infrastructure development. Only through an integrated legal, technological, and human resource approach can SISRUTE fulfill its intended function in supporting a fair, inclusive, and effective healthcare referral system nationwide. This paper contributes to ongoing discourse on legal reforms for digital health equity in Indonesia.

Background: Stunting remains a serious public health issue in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas such as Ambasea Village, Laeya Sub-district, South Konawe Regency. Stunting, or chronic growth failure in children due to prolonged malnutrition, generally occurs during the first 1,000 days of life. In Ambasea Village, this problem is exacerbated by irregular eating patterns among toddlers, consumption of low-nutrient foods, and poor hygiene behaviors. Toddlers frequently consume unhealthy snacks, reject main meals such as rice and side dishes, and rarely wash their hands with soap before eating or after using the toilet. Furthermore, limited access to basic sanitation—such as the lack of proper latrines and adequate wastewater disposal systems (SPAL)—also contributes to the high risk of infections that disrupt nutrient absorption, increasing the likelihood of stunting in children. Objective: This study aims to describe the environmental health conditions contributing to the incidence of stunting among children aged 0–2 years in Ambasea Village. Methods: The research used an observational analytic method with a quantitative cross-sectional design. The study involved 54 toddlers identified as stunted. Data were collected through structured interviews with parents or caregivers and direct observation of the household and surrounding environmental conditions. Results: The results showed that 66.5% of households did not have access to proper latrines, and 70% lacked adequate wastewater disposal systems. However, 87% had access to clean water, and 85% of respondents demonstrated good handwashing behavior. Conclusion: The environmental health conditions in Ambasea Village reveal ongoing challenges related to latrine ownership and wastewater management. Although clean water access is relatively good and hygiene practices among residents are fairly positive, improving sanitation infrastructure remains crucial. Enhancing these conditions is expected to significantly reduce the risk of stunting among toddlers in the area. Collaborative efforts involving local government, health workers, and the community are essential to create a healthier environment for early childhood development.

The Child Identity Card (KIA) is an official document issued to children aged 0–17 years as a form of early recognition and protection of legal identity. The issuance of the KIA aims to support orderly population administration, facilitate access to public services, and strengthen child protection in various social, educational, and health aspects. In Bintan Regency, this policy has been implemented since 2017 and was reinforced through Regent Regulation No. 6 of 2022. However, in 2024, the KIA ownership rate only reached 53.48%, the lowest figure in the Riau Islands Province. This figure indicates a serious gap between policy and implementation in the field. In fact, the Bintan Regency Population and Civil Registration Office's Work Plan (Renja) set the KIA ownership target for 2024 at 65%, with the final realization being only 62%. This study aims to examine the factors influencing the low KIA ownership rate. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants consisted of Disdukcapil officials and the community as service recipients. The implementation model used was Merilee S. Grindle's theory, which emphasizes six critical variables in policy success, including resources, communication, and implementer characteristics. The results of the study indicate that despite an increase in demand for KIA due to administrative requirements in education services, BPJS, and social programs, significant obstacles remain. These obstacles include limited outreach, a lack of service infrastructure in coastal and remote areas, and technical constraints such as a suboptimal online system. Therefore, acceleration strategies are needed, such as increasing the intensity of cross-sector outreach, integrating KIA services into integrated health post (Posyandu) and school programs, adding mobile services, and training local human resources.

This study aims to analyze the role of mental health as a moderation variable in the relationship between work facilities and employee job satisfaction. Adequate work facilities are generally thought to be able to increase job satisfaction, but these effects can vary depending on the individual's psychological condition, particularly mental health. This research is motivated by the importance of a holistic approach in human resource management, which includes both physical and psychological aspects of the work environment. The research method used was a quantitative approach with survey techniques to 150 respondents working in the public service sector in urban areas. The data collection instrument was in the form of a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale, and hypothesis testing was carried out through moderation regression analysis using the help of SPSS software. The results of the study show that work facilities have a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction. In addition, it was found that mental health played a significant role as a significant moderation variable in the relationship. This means that the influence of work facilities on job satisfaction becomes stronger or weaker depending on the level of mental health possessed by employees. These findings underscore the importance of organizations not only focusing on improving physical work facilities, but also paying attention to and managing employees' mental health as an integral part of strategies to improve well-being and work productivity. Interventions such as counseling programs, work-life balance, and stress management training need to be considered as part of the organization's policies. This research makes a theoretical contribution in enriching the understanding of the role of psychological variables in job satisfaction dynamics, as well as a practical contribution to management in designing a healthier and more productive work environment.

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by infection with bacteria from the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex group. TB prevention efforts are crucial, especially for individuals at high risk of exposure, to disrupt the chain of transmission of this disease. The intervention aimed to increase community understanding of TOSS TB (Find, Treat, Treat Until Cured) so that it can be applied in daily life. It is expected that after the intervention, participants' knowledge will increase, as will their ability to demonstrate the practices taught appropriately. Data collection was conducted through a mini-survey of the community in the local Community Health Center (Puskesmas) working area. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Blum Paradigm to identify factors contributing to the problem. Problem prioritization was carried out using the non-scoring Delphi method, while root cause analysis was conducted using a fishbone diagram. During the intervention process, pre- and post-tests were conducted to evaluate changes in the level of knowledge of villagers before and after the intervention. For program monitoring and evaluation, the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle approach and a systems approach were used. The analysis using the Blum Paradigm showed that lifestyle was the primary contributing factor to the problem. After the intervention, three participants were able to repeat the material effectively, demonstrating a better understanding of TB prevention. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the intervention was successful and is expected to encourage improvements in public health in the village. Furthermore, this program is also expected to serve as a model for other public health interventions, thereby expanding the positive impact of TB control efforts in other areas. Thus, public awareness and knowledge about TB can continue to increase, which in turn will contribute to reducing TB incidence in Indonesia and improving the overall quality of life of the community.
