Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are strategic sectors in the Indonesian economy, but often face challenges in efficient and data-driven production management. This article highlights the urgency of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program as a form of student service in assisting MSMEs, especially in optimizing the production of snacks typical of Tebing Syahbandar. This research aims to optimize the production output of the Untir-untir Titik Factory with an Integer Linear Programming (ILP) approach using the Branch and Bound algorithm. Primary data is obtained through interviews and production documentation, including product type, raw material needs, operational costs, selling prices, and profit margins. The initial analysis was carried out using the simplex method using POM QM software to obtain a linear solution, which was then refined with the Branch and Bound algorithm so that the results were in the form of integers. The results of the study showed that the optimal solution was achieved by producing 25 bales of kolong-kounder and not producing other types of snacks, resulting in a profit of Rp1,650,000 per day. These findings show that the ILP approach with Branch and Bound is able to significantly increase the efficiency and profitability of MSMEs. In addition, this method can be used as a basis for quantitative-based production decision-making. This research also emphasizes the strategic role of KKN in technology transfer and real solution-based assistance for MSME actors in the region, thereby supporting the sustainable strengthening of the local economy.

This study aims to optimize the cake production profit at Cake by Cece using the Branch and Bound algorithm. The data used include raw material requirements per batch, daily raw material availability, and selling prices for three types of cakes: Cookies, Brownies, and Cinnamon Roll. The optimization model is formulated as an Integer Linear Programming problem with the objective of maximizing total daily profit. The model is solved using the simplex method followed by the Branch and Bound algorithm to obtain valid integer solutions. The results indicate that the optimal production combination is 2 batches of Cookies, 2 batches of Brownies, and 3 batches of Cinnamon Roll, yielding a maximum profit of IDR 233,000 per day. This solution satisfies all raw material constraints and is feasible for daily operational implementation. This study provides quantitative recommendations to support production decision-making in culinary sector MSMEs.

This study aims to analyze the application of the full costing method in determining the cost of goods sold at a Sukoharjo Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes). The full costing method is an approach that assigns all production costs, both fixed and variable, to the product. It is expected to provide more accurate cost information than the traditional method currently used by BUMDes. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, using a case study of a BUMDes Sukoharjo that produces traditional foods such as clorot, geblek, and lanting. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation.The results indicate that the method currently used by BUMDes Sukoharjo does not capture all production costs, particularly equipment depreciation and other fixed overhead. Calculating the cost of goods sold using the full costing method yields a higher value than the previous method. This difference occurs because the full costing method comprehensively considers all cost elements, providing a more accurate basis for setting selling prices. By implementing the full costing method, BUMDes can improve cost management efficiency and obtain more accurate information for managerial decision-making. Furthermore, applying the full costing method enables BUMDes to better understand the impact of fixed costs on the overall profitability of their products. By factoring in all costs, including overheads and depreciation, BUMDes can make more informed decisions regarding pricing strategies and resource allocation. This method also allows for greater transparency in cost structures, which is essential for effective financial planning and budgeting. Ultimately, the full costing method will contribute to improved financial sustainability and long-term profitability for BUMDes Sukoharjo, helping them navigate challenges in the competitive market of traditional food production.

The Unnoni Weaving Center is a community-led, small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) development center for traditional weaving. Despite its significant potential, many entrepreneurs in this center face challenges in determining appropriate product prices. They typically rely solely on intuition or follow market prices without considering all production cost components, resulting in very small profit margins and even the risk of incurring losses. In response to these challenges, this community service program was designed to improve the ability of SMEs to determine more rational, measurable, and profitable selling prices through comprehensive and applicable training in production cost calculations. The methods employed included outreach, workshops, intensive mentoring, and hands-on simulations on pricing based on real costs and reasonable margins. The program was conducted in two sessions at the Unnoni Weaving Center Hall, involving 25 local weaving entrepreneurs. The results showed significant improvement, with participants' understanding of identifying production cost components increasing by 76%, while approximately 80% successfully conducted simulations for determining selling prices, taking into account raw materials, labor, overhead costs, and profit margins. The tangible impact of this activity is seen in increased business literacy, more systematic calculation skills, and the confidence of SMEs in determining prices and negotiating with consumers and business partners. Furthermore, this activity is expected to be a starting point for the implementation of a simple financial recording system, increased operational efficiency, and the development of a branding strategy for Unnoni woven products so they can compete more professionally, sustainably, and with high competitiveness in both local and global markets.

In addition to personal selling, Adhiwangsa Hotel and Convention Solo also utilized other IMC tools such as direct marketing, public relations, and digital marketing to maximize the effectiveness of their promotional efforts for the "So Kiss Me 2024" event. The hotel leveraged its existing customer database to send personalized invitations and promotions through WhatsApp, which proved to be an effective channel for engaging with customers directly. Social media platforms were also used to create awareness and drive attendance, with consistent messaging across all channels to maintain a unified brand voice. Furthermore, the hotel emphasized the importance of building strong relationships with its customers by maintaining regular communication. This strategy helped foster trust and loyalty, as customers felt valued and personally attended to. The event was promoted not only through traditional marketing tools but also through word-of-mouth, leveraging employees' personal networks to spread the message. The study also highlights the role of digital marketing tools in enhancing the reach of the hotel's communication efforts. By utilizing platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, Adhiwangsa Hotel was able to reach a broader audience, particularly among younger consumers who are more active on social media. These platforms allowed for real-time updates, engagement, and interaction with potential customers, making the event more dynamic and accessible. Overall, the success of the "So Kiss Me" event can be attributed to the hotel's effective use of integrated marketing communications, where personal selling played a significant role in delivering a more personalized and direct message to potential customers. This case study illustrates the importance of adopting a multi-channel communication strategy to effectively engage target audiences and achieve marketing objectives.

The abundant rice husk waste in Legundi Village, Ngawi Regency, has not been used optimally and has the potential to cause environmental pollution. On the other hand, rural communities, especially the PKK Women's group, need business diversification to increase family income. Responding to these challenges, this community service program is carried out with the main objectives: (1) utilizing rice husk waste into husk charcoal products with economic value as a planting medium; (2) increasing income and empowering community groups; and (3) strengthening the capacity of digitizing MSMEs through online marketing assistance. The activity was carried out with a participatory method that prioritized the active involvement of the community. There are two main approaches to program implementation. First, training on the practice of making husk charcoal uses imperfect combustion techniques that are simple and environmentally friendly. Second, assistance in the digitalization of MSMEs which includes training in creating and managing e-commerce accounts (Shopee and Tokopedia), the production of visual and narrative-based promotional content, and digital marketing strategies that are adaptive to consumer trends. The results of the activity show that the community is able to process husk waste into packaged husk charcoal products with the brand "Saji Tani" which has selling value and market potential. In addition, the PKK Women's group showed capacity building in business management and the use of digital platforms to expand marketing access. This program not only succeeds in reducing the environmental impact of agricultural waste, but also encourages the economic independence of village communities through innovations based on local potential. Thus, this activity is a model of integrated community empowerment that combines environmental, economic, and digital technology aspects in a sustainable manner.

In recent years, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have increasingly positioned themselves as one of the main pillars of the Indonesian economy, contributing significantly to employment opportunities, income distribution, and economic resilience. In the local context, Cifest Cikarang Selatan represents a dynamic marketplace where various MSMEs operate and directly interact with consumers. An interesting phenomenon emerges during holiday periods, when consumer behavior shows significant changes, especially in terms of purchasing methods and preferences between online and offline channels. This study aims to explore the transformation of consumer behavior, focusing on the comparative analysis of online and offline purchases, and to evaluate its broader implications for the sustainability and competitiveness of MSMEs operating at Cifest. The research adopts a descriptive and analytical approach, using both recent statistical data and supporting literature to provide a comprehensive understanding of the digital era’s influence on shopping patterns. The findings reveal that online purchases continue to grow rapidly due to convenience, wider product access, and promotional offers that attract customers. However, offline purchases remain relevant, particularly for consumers who value direct product inspection, immediate ownership, and social interaction within traditional marketplaces. For MSMEs, this shift presents both challenges and opportunities. Those that rely solely on conventional offline strategies risk losing competitiveness, while those able to integrate digital platforms with traditional sales methods demonstrate greater adaptability and potential for growth. Overall, this study concludes that the sustainability of MSMEs in Cifest Cikarang Selatan depends largely on their ability to embrace digital transformation without neglecting the strengths of offline interactions. By leveraging both channels strategically, MSMEs can not only survive but also thrive in the increasingly competitive market landscape shaped by evolving consumer behavior.

The use of credit by the public is generally driven by the need and desire to meet certain requirements that cannot be fulfilled with cash. Credit makes it easier for people to meet their various needs, especially for those who do not have enough funds at the time. However, in practice, there are often obstacles such as payment delays, breaches of agreed-upon deadlines, and discrepancies in the recording of installment payments. These issues can create problems for both the creditor and the debtor. This study aims to examine the use of the credit concept by the community and analyze how credit helps fulfill the needs of the community. The study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive research approach. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and document gathering. The collected data were then analyzed by presenting the data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the use of the credit concept by the community in Rantau Panjang Estate to meet their needs has fulfilled the conditions of a muamalah agreement in accordance with the principles of buying and selling. First, the people involved in the transaction, namely the seller and the buyer, must meet the requirements of being rational, consenting freely, and agreeing mutually. Second, the agreement between the seller and the buyer must include the price and the payment period that both parties have agreed upon. Third, the object or goods being sold must have utility and be clearly defined in terms of its nature, size, and type. Fourth, the price must be clear, with the credit price being higher than the cash price. Additionally, the use of credit by the community in Rantau Panjang Estate has also applied the principles of the Islamic market mechanism, such as Ar-Ridha (mutual consent), healthy competition, honesty, transparency, and justice. This indicates that the credit transactions conducted are in accordance with the rules of Islam and can serve as a fair model for all parties involved.

International trade involves cross-border buying and selling activities between countries, which in practice requires various transportation documents to ensure legal certainty and smooth operations. One of the main documents used is the Bill of Lading (Konosemen), which is a dated letter issued by the carrier as proof of receipt of goods to be transported to a certain destination and delivered to a specified recipient. The Bill of Lading has three essential functions: as a receipt of goods, as evidence of ownership, and as proof of a transportation contract. However, in practice, there are still frequent problems that hinder the optimal function of the Bill of Lading. One notable case is APL Co. Pte. Ltd. v. CV. Dua Sekawan Sejati, which involved discrepancies between the goods shipped and those stated in the Bill of Lading. This study adopts a normative juridical method by examining applicable legal provisions and theoretical concepts related to the law of contracts and transportation. The findings show that discrepancies between the goods shipped and those listed in the Bill of Lading constitute a breach of promise or default under Article 1320 of the Indonesian Civil Code. The Bill of Lading, in this case, serves as a legally binding transportation contract that obligates both parties to fulfill their respective responsibilities. Failure by one party to comply with the terms of the contract results in legal consequences in the form of claims for compensation by the aggrieved party. This research emphasizes the importance of accuracy and accountability in the issuance and use of Bills of Lading in international trade to avoid disputes and ensure legal certainty. Strengthening the regulation and enforcement of Bill of Lading functions is crucial for protecting the rights of parties engaged in cross-border trade.

Mochi-based food products are increasingly popular in Indonesia due to their chewy texture and distinctive sweet taste, making them a popular snack among various groups. As consumer interest in mochi increases, innovation in the production process is crucial, particularly in the selection of liquid ingredients as one of the main components. The use of different liquids has the potential to affect the organoleptic characteristics of mochi, such as color, aroma, texture, and taste, thereby increasing the product's appeal and selling value. This study aims to analyze the effect of the type of liquid used on the organoleptic quality of mochi. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach through an experimental method using a one-factor completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications. The study sample consisted of 30 untrained panelists selected through a total sampling technique from among students of the Culinary Arts Study Program, Padang State University. The four types of liquids used for treatment were water, soy milk, coconut milk, and coconut water. Assessment was carried out using an organoleptic test with a 7-point hedonic scale, covering five aspects: color, aroma, texture, taste, and overall acceptability. Data were analyzed using a one-way ANOVA test to determine the significance of differences between treatments. The results showed that mochi with coconut water scored the highest in color (5.88), texture (6.39), flavor (6.07), and overall acceptability (5.88), while the highest aroma was obtained from mochi with soy milk (6.50). Although statistical results showed no significant difference between treatments (p > 0.05), mochi with coconut water was subjectively preferred by panelists. Therefore, coconut water is recommended as an alternative liquid ingredient that has the potential to improve mochi sensory. This research was motivated by public hesitation to invest in digital gold through the Dana app, which refers to Fatwa No. 77/DSN-MUI/V/2010 concerning non-cash gold buying and selling. This fatwa serves as a guideline for Muslims investing in gold. Furthermore, the author has not found any licensing from the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) for the Dana app. Furthermore, several students at Batang Hari Islamic University (UNI) have the Dana app and use it to invest in gold. They were seen buying gold on a certain day and reselling it the next day. The added value from the sale was a profit for the students, but there was also a loss for students who exchanged their gold purchases when the price of gold fell. Furthermore, this research is designed in the form of field research (Empirical Jurisprudence), which is a type of sociological legal research and can be described as field research, which examines applicable legal provisions and what has occurred in community life. Using observation, interview, and documentation techniques, data analysis and triangulation are then carried out. The conclusion that can be drawn from the previous description is that the Digital Gold Investment Practice on the Dana Application at Batang Hari Islamic University in its mechanism on the Gold Fund feature is carried out non-cash where the certainty of the object, namely gold, is only in the form of savings balances in the form of rupiah and digital gold weight with no physical gold ownership if the gold savings have not reached 1 gram. In gold investment transactions on the Dana application, the results show that smaller profits are obtained by buyers due to certain problems related to the buyers themselves. Electronic commerce (e-commerce) has become a dominant trend in modern buying and selling transactions, offering easy access and efficiency. Marketplaces like Shopee act as intermediaries between merchants and buyers, providing fast, secure, and integrated transaction facilities. However, behind this convenience, significant legal issues arise, particularly regarding unilateral transaction cancellations by buyers through the refund feature. In practice, these refund requests are generally approved by the marketplace without thorough verification of the validity of the cancellation reason or the existence of the goods already shipped by the merchant. This study aims to analyze the legality of unilateral cancellations by buyers from the perspective of Indonesian civil law, with reference to the provisions of the Civil Code (KUHPerdata) and the concept of electronic contracts as stipulated in the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The study uses a normative juridical approach by examining laws and regulations, legal literature, and analyzing two case studies involving merchants BZS and HK. The results indicate that unilateral cancellations by buyers without returning the goods constitute a form of breach of contract. This action not only violates the electronic contractual agreement established during the transaction but also causes financial and reputational harm to merchants. This phenomenon indicates weak legal protection for business actors in the e-commerce ecosystem, particularly regarding the bargaining power between sellers, buyers, and marketplace platforms. Therefore, strengthening fair and transparent digital dispute resolution mechanisms is necessary, including preventive legal protection to prevent losses and repressive protection to provide redress for injured parties. This step is crucial for realizing a healthy, balanced, and equitable digital trade ecosystem for all parties involved.

Limited sanitation facilities among street vendors, particularly those selling meatballs, chicken noodles, and porridge, often pose a problem that impacts food safety. One common practice is repeatedly washing bowls and spoons with just a bucket of water, followed by drying the utensils with a cloth. This contaminated water can transmit pathogenic microorganisms that cause foodborne illnesses, increasing the risk of health problems for consumers. This problem requires a practical solution that street vendors can implement, taking into account limited space, mobility, and operational costs. This community service activity used a pre-experimental design method with a simple technological engineering approach to improve the sanitation of tableware. The innovation developed was a portable bowl washer made from used mineral water gallons, modified to be mobile, efficient, and water-efficient. The manufacturing process included design, assembly, testing, and evaluation with street vendors. Success was measured by observing the level of cleanliness of the tableware before and after use, as well as assessing the level of satisfaction and ease of use by the vendors. The results showed that the implementation of this portable sanitation device increased the effectiveness of tableware washing, reduced the repeated use of dirty water, and minimized the risk of cross-contamination. Partnering vendors stated that the device is practical, lightweight, and doesn't disrupt their sales activities. They hope this innovation will be replicated by other vendors and that local governments will consider implementing it as a standard for mobile food sanitation. This effort will not only improve the hygiene of eating utensils but also contribute to preventing foodborne illnesses in the community.

People's Business Credit (KUR) is a financing program distributed by the government through banking institutions, including Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives. In its implementation, KUR credit is not free from various problems, one of which is non-performing loans. This study aims to determine the factors causing non-performing loans and efforts to resolve them in KUR loans at Bank BRI Karanganyar Branch, Tasikmadu Unit. The method used in this study is qualitative research, with data sources derived from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. Data collection techniques were conducted through direct interviews with relevant parties. The results show that the main causes of non-performing loans are divided into two major factors. First, external factors, namely those originating from the customer. This problem is generally related to the customer's inability to pay installments due to business failure. Second, internal factors, such as the failure of creditworthiness analysis by bank officers, resulting in prospective debtors who are actually unworthy actually receiving loans. In resolving non-performing loans, BRI Bank's Karanganyar Branch, Tasikmadu Unit, applies five main methods: (1) changing the loan interest rate, (2) reducing fines or penalties, (3) reducing the outstanding principal, (4) extending the loan term, and (5) selling collateral. Additionally, there are also settlement methods that involve a combination of these five methods, depending on the debtor's circumstances and the agreement between the two parties.

Based on the financial performance analysis of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) during the 2020–2023 period, the company faced significant challenges that impacted its financial condition. One of the main factors affecting the company's performance is the increase in tobacco excise duties, which has affected the cost structure and selling prices of its cigarette products. Additionally, the increasing regulatory pressure and changes in consumer behavior have posed unavoidable challenges. The decline in profitability and liquidity ratios, such as Return on Assets (ROA) and Current Ratio (CR), indicates the negative impact of these external conditions on the company’s ability to generate profit and meet short-term obligations. This decline suggests that the company is struggling to balance income and operational costs. The fluctuating solvency ratio also raises concern. Although the company manages to maintain a balance between debt and equity, these fluctuations show challenges in managing long-term assets and liabilities. Dependence on debt and rising operational costs pose risks to the company's financial stability. These fluctuations affect the company's ability to maintain liquidity and solvency in an increasingly competitive market. Trend analysis from the financial statements indicates that the company needs to strengthen its adaptation strategies and risk management to face the growing market challenges. GGRM must focus on product innovation and marketing strategies that can attract new customers while retaining existing ones. Furthermore, the company must adapt to changing regulations and evolving consumer trends. The results of this study provide important insights for stakeholders regarding the financial condition of the tobacco industry. In this challenging situation, GGRM must continue to develop more adaptive strategies to survive and thrive amidst the dynamic market and increasingly stringent regulations.

Karang Jahe Beach is one of the leading tourism destinations located in Rembang Regency. This area provides a great opportunity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to develop and reach a wider market. One of the MSMEs in this area is Warung "Mbak Raisha" owned by Mrs. Inayah which has been operating since 2015. This stall is engaged in providing food and beverages for tourists. However, these MSMEs face various challenges in managing their business, including the lack of digital financial records, the lack of social media accounts as a means of digital promotion, the lack of a business logo, and the management of orders and product packaging that is not optimal. This condition causes limitations in terms of competitiveness, management efficiency, and marketing reach which has an impact on overall business growth and hinders the potential for future business development. Community service activities are carried out to help overcome these problems through strategies to strengthen branding and digital marketing. Some of the concrete steps taken are the creation of a logo as a brand identity, the installation of banners as a visual identity of the business, training on the use of social media (Instagram) as a means of promotion, the preparation of price lists, and digital financial recording using simple applications. In addition, education was also provided regarding the importance of attractive packaging to increase the selling value of products. The results of the mentoring show that Warung "Mbak Raisha" now has a stronger business identity, a more targeted promotion system, and more efficient management. This effort is expected to be able to encourage business growth and make MSMEs better prepared to face business challenges in the digital era.

Consumer protection in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia faces significant challenges due to the lack of specific regulations that clearly define the responsibilities of digital platforms. Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection (UUPK) serves as the primary legal framework, but it has not adequately addressed the complexities of digital transactions, leading to legal uncertainty in resolving disputes and safeguarding consumer rights. This gap in the law leaves consumers vulnerable, as their rights are not clearly protected in the digital environment. One of the main issues is the low level of consumer legal literacy in Indonesia, which exacerbates the problem. Many consumers are unaware of their rights or how to enforce them, making it difficult for them to seek redress in case of problems with e-commerce transactions. This lack of understanding creates an environment where consumers are often left without proper recourse when facing issues such as faulty products, delayed deliveries, or breaches of personal data security. This study aims to identify the barriers to consumer protection in e-commerce and propose solutions to address these challenges. The study suggests that more comprehensive and adaptive regulations are needed to define the responsibilities of e-commerce platforms clearly. These regulations should include effective complaint mechanisms, stronger consumer data protection policies, and a framework for resolving disputes quickly and transparently. Additionally, the study emphasizes the need for stricter supervision and more robust law enforcement to ensure that digital trading platforms comply with consumer protection laws. The findings highlight the importance of creating a safe, fair, and trusted digital trading ecosystem in Indonesia, where consumers feel secure and are empowered to demand their rights. By implementing these recommendations, Indonesia can improve consumer protection in the digital economy, ultimately fostering a more sustainable and transparent e-commerce environment.

This study aims to identify the factors that influence the local community in developing the swallow nest business and to examine how the practice of swallow nest farming aligns with the principles of Islamic business ethics in Marioriwawo District, Soppeng Regency. The swallow nest industry has grown significantly in this area, shifting the economic landscape from primarily agricultural activities to a more diversified business sector. Before the emergence of this business, most residents were involved in farming. However, due to factors such as unpredictable harvests and unstable agricultural income, many community members have turned to swallow nest cultivation as an alternative and promising source of livelihood. According to Islamic business ethics, the practice of breeding swallows is permissible, as long as it does not involve cruelty to animals. This view is supported by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Fatwa Number 2 of 2012, which states that raising or cultivating swallows is allowed, provided the birds are not harmed or subjected to distress. Furthermore, the consumption and trade of swallow nests are also considered halal under Islamic law, adding to the business's appeal among the Muslim population. To explore the underlying motivations and social dynamics of this business shift, the study employed a qualitative research method. This approach was chosen to gain a deeper understanding of the local context, including the experiences, beliefs, and socioeconomic conditions of the people involved. The results revealed several influencing factors: the potential for high profit from selling swallow nests, the challenges faced in traditional agriculture (such as frequent crop failure), and the religious assurance that the business is acceptable under Islamic teachings. Overall, the swallow nest business represents a strategic and ethical economic opportunity for the community, enabling them to improve their livelihoods while staying aligned with their religious values.

Competition in Indonesia’s business world today compels companies to strategize in order to outperform their rivals. Only those companies that are truly strong, implement competitive strategies correctly, and carry out intensive promotions will succeed. One promotional tool that is expected to directly establish, improve, dominate, or maintain mutually beneficial exchange relationships with customers is personal selling, particularly aimed at encouraging consumers to purchase the offered products.A company’s goal is to obtain maximum profit from its business operations. To achieve this, managerial expertise and capability are required to combine the functions within the company effectively. Personal selling is carried out by the company to introduce its products, influence and inform consumers, so they are encouraged to buy—ultimately increasing sales volume.This study seeks to examine whether personal selling has a significant impact on increasing sales volume at PT. Intermas Tata Trading, Surabaya branch. A qualitative approach is used, supported by both qualitative and quantitative data from the company. Data collection techniques include editing, tabulating, and interviews. Data processing involves simple correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, and t-tests. Hypothesis testing is conducted using statistical analysis with SPSS 16.0.The study results confirm that the hypothesis is true: the personal selling variable (X) has a significant influence on the sales volume (Y) at PT. Intermas Tata Trading, Surabaya. This is evidenced by the t-value (4.005) > t-table (2.228) at a significance level of 0.002. The simple correlation coefficient is 0.785 or 78.5%, indicating a very strong and positive relationship between the independent variable (personal selling) and the dependent variable (sales volume).

Bananas are a tropical fruit that is popular because of its sweet taste and high nutrient content. However, bananas have a major drawback, which is a short shelf life. After reaching perfect ripeness, the banana will undergo a change in mushy texture, the skin will appear black spots, and there will be a growth of yeast that causes the appearance of the banana to be damaged and unfit for consumption. However, ripe bananas that look visually bad still contain high glucose, which can be used in fermentation or advanced processing. One of the solutions to avoid losses due to ripe banana spoilage is to process it into banana sale. Banana sale is a processed product produced from ripe bananas that go through a drying process to reduce the moisture content to a safe level, so that it can extend its shelf life. This drying process can be done by two methods, namely drying in the sun and smoking. The purpose of both methods is to reduce the water content of bananas, so that they are not easily damaged by microorganisms. Using this technique, bananas that are prone to spoilage can be transformed into more durable products, have a distinctive taste, and have a high selling value. The quality of banana sales is influenced by various factors, such as its color, taste, aroma, texture, and shelf life. By processing bananas for sale, their economic value can increase significantly. Farmers can not only reduce losses due to bananas that do not sell well in the fresh market, but also earn additional income from value-added processed products. Banana sale products have great potential to be developed as one of the processed food products that have economic value and are beneficial to the community (Masuku, M. A., 2023; Lestari, S., et al., 2024).
