In the architecture design and 3D visualization industry, rendering speed and quality are crucial factors in enhancing productivity. This study aims to compare the performance of GPU and CPU-based rendering software, focusing on three main aspects: render time, visual quality, and resource efficiency. The experiment was conducted using two leading rendering software, Corona (CPU) and Lumion GPU, with identical design objects. The results show that GPU rendering excels in render speed, although it slightly sacrifices quality detail compared to CPU rendering. Additionally, GPU is more efficient in resource usage, with lower energy consumption during longer rendering processes. Based on these findings, it is recommended that design and architecture professionals choose GPU rendering for projects that prioritize speed and time efficiency, while CPU rendering is more suitable for tasks that require higher quality and more complex details. This study provides valuable insights for the creative industry in selecting the most appropriate rendering technology to enhance their design productivity.

The Hajj and Umrah are spiritual rituals that have a special place in Islam, with essential differences in terms of the time of implementation. Hajj, as one of the pillars of Islam, is obligatory for every Muslim who is physically and financially able to perform it at least once in a lifetime. Umrah, although sunnah, also has great virtue in getting closer to Allah SWT. This study aims to analyze both forms of worship from the perspective of history, fiqh (Islamic law), and their social and spiritual influences on Muslim individuals and communities, providing a comprehensive understanding of the procedures, laws, and wisdom of implementing the Hajj and Umrah, as well as to examine the impact of implementing the Hajj and Umrah in everyday life, both from the perspective of individual spirituality and from the social side of Muslims. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. Data obtained from reference books, academic journals, and articles. The analysis was carried out with a descriptive and araitis approach explaining the theological perspective of Islamic law and the social and spiritual impacts of worship. The results of this study indicate that Hajj and Umrah have a significant impact on building deep spiritual awareness among Muslims. Ritually, the procedures for carrying out these two worships illustrate the values of monotheism, equality, and sacrifice. From an Islamic legal perspective, the difference between the obligation of Hajj and the sunnah of Umrah provides flexibility for Muslims to get closer to Allah SWT whenever they are able. From a social perspective, the implementation of this worship is a means of strengthening the unity of Muslims from all over the world.

This paper describes the dynamics of legal politics in the regulation of Simultaneous Regional Elections in Indonesia with a focus on the effectiveness of implementation and its impact on local democracy. Simultaneous Regional Elections, which began in 2015, are the government's efforts to improve the efficiency of regional head elections while strengthening the democratic system. However, its implementation faces various challenges, such as regulatory complexity, potential political conflict, and impacts on the quality of representation at the local level. This study uses a juridical-normative approach with a qualitative analysis method to evaluate the laws and regulations governing Simultaneous Regional Elections, including Law Number 10 of 2016 and its implementing policies. Data were obtained through literature studies, legal documents, and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The results of the study show that, although Simultaneous Regional Elections bring benefits in the form of budget efficiency and strengthening political stability, this policy also poses a number of challenges. Among them are the gap in local government capacity, strengthening political oligarchy, and decreasing the quality of community participation at the local level. In addition, the implementation of Simultaneous Regional Elections tends to sacrifice regional autonomy in the context of local democracy, given the homogenization of election times that do not always match regional needs. This study recommends the need for a revision of regulations that are more adaptive to local needs, increasing public political education, and strengthening the capacity of election organizers to ensure that Simultaneous Regional Elections can run effectively without sacrificing the principles of local democracy.

Research using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotics in animated films is based on his triadic approach, namely icons, indexes, and symbols, which are used to understand the hidden meaning in every visual and narrative sign. In the context of film analysis, semiotics functions as a tool to dismantle and understand the structure and meaning contained in visual and narrative elements. This analysis can be done using Peirce's icon, index, and symbol approach. Researchers see how these signs play a role in forming the film's main theme or message. Researchers interpret the meaning of these signs in the social, cultural, or ideological context represented by the animated film. This approach is important for understanding how animated films reflect or influence social views on the themes discussed, such as the role of mothers or families. This interpretation also involves analyzing whether these signs contain social criticism or certain moral messages. Based on the results of the analysis, the audience not only sees the mother as a character but also as a symbol of inspiring strength, which can ultimately shape the audience's perception of the importance of the role of mothers in everyday life. Indirectly, the peace that occurs because there is a strong mother figure in carrying out the rebellion, the strength that was born within her because of the sad circumstances of life, the heartbreaking loss, the circumstances full of suffering. From the film it can be seen that the strength and sacrifice of a mother is extraordinary.

The doctrine of Christ or Christology is the core part of Christian teaching that studies the person and work of Jesus Christ. As the core of the Christian faith, Christology discusses who Jesus is, both in His divinity as the Son of God and in His humanity who was present in the world to atone for human sins. A correct understanding of Christology is very important because it influences how Christians understand salvation, the sacrifice on the cross, and the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. However, in an increasingly modern and pluralistic era, this doctrine often faces quite complex challenges.

Public services such as e-KTP are still faced with various problems that have a negative impact on the quality of service for the community. One of the root problems of public service providers is the lack of public service motivation from employees to provide the best service. There are five dimensions of success in public service motivation that play an important role, namely interest in public policy, commitment to the public interest, empathy, self-sacrifice, and belief in justice. These values should be possessed by public employees as public service providers in order to provide the best service to the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of Public Service Motivation in e-KTP services at the Tangerang Regency Population and Civil Registry Office using a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that PSM in e-KTP services at the Tangerang Regency Population and Civil Registry Office was still not optimal, as shown in the results of the following values: 1) Interest in making public policy is low, because employees tend to be passive and lack initiative in being involved in the policy process. 2) Commitment to the public interest is also lacking, reflected in slow service. 3) The nature of compassion is quite good, as seen in the priority of services for those in need at the Tangerang Regency Population and Civil Registry Office. 4) Self-sacrifice is still lacking, with employees reluctant to work extra time. 5) Trust in justice is still not optimal, as seen from complaints about injustice in service.

The film "Cinta Pertama, Kedua, dan Ketiga" is an Indonesian romantic drama that explores themes of love, family responsibility, and sacrifice. This study aims to analyze the representation of love in the film using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The method applied includes analyzing signs, signifiers, and signifieds from several key scenes to uncover both denotative and connotative meanings. The analysis focuses on scenes of dancing, household duties, the giving of a ring, warm colors, a lonely road, separation, and the giving of a birthday gift. The research findings indicate that dancing symbolizes intimacy and freedom, while household scenes represent the burden of emotional responsibility. The ring signifies commitment and family unity, warm colors reflect harmony but also conceal tension, and the lonely road mirrors emotional isolation. Separation and the birthday gift reveal deep sacrifice and enduring memories. In conclusion, the film portrays love not only as a romantic relationship but also as a journey involving personal sacrifice and family responsibility, aligning with Barthes' views on symbolic meaning in visual narratives.

Batam City, as a rapidly growing industrial center, faces major challenges in allocating agricultural land for farmers who need legal certainty over the land they manage. The background of the problem in this study is the conflict of interest between industrial development and the need for agricultural land protection, which often sacrifices farmers' rights and causes legal uncertainty. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the government in allocating land for farmers in Batam City and to provide policy recommendations that can increase legal certainty over agricultural land. The research method used is a normative and empirical juridical approach, which includes an analysis of relevant laws and regulations such as Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning Basic Regulations on Agrarian Principles, Law Number 41 of 2009 concerning the Protection of Sustainable Food Agricultural Land, and Law Number 19 of 2013 concerning the Protection and Empowerment of Farmers. Primary data was collected through interviews with farmers, government officials, and other stakeholders, while secondary data was obtained from legal literature, policy documents, and previous case studies. The results of the study show that the implementation of land allocation for farmers in Batam City has not been optimal. Farmers often do not get adequate legal certainty because the allocated land can be revoked at any time by the government for the benefit of industrial development. The main obstacles identified include conflicts of interest between economic development and agricultural land protection, lack of legal certainty, weak coordination and oversight, development and urbanization pressures, and lack of supporting infrastructure. As a suggestion, this study recommends that the Batam City Government develop a balanced and inclusive spatial planning policy, accelerate the land certification process for farmers, improve coordination between institutions, and invest in agricultural infrastructure development. In addition, farmers are expected to strengthen their organizations to advocate for their rights, while the people of Batam City need to actively participate in the process of land use planning and monitoring to ensure sustainable and equitable development.

The study examines the theological meaning of the symbols of water, wine, and blood in the Gospel of John and their interrelation within the perspective of Catholic theology. Grounded in John’s distinctive use of symbolism as a medium of revelation, the study treats these three symbols not as isolated narrative elements but as an integrated theological sequence. The study employs a qualitative method, utilizing a literature-based approach and biblical-theological exegesis of key texts. The findings indicate that water signifies the renewal of life originating from divine grace and is closely associated with Baptism; wine expresses joy and abundance within the new covenant, finding its resonance in the Eucharist; while blood marks the culmination of divine love manifested in Christ’s redemptive sacrifice. Together, these symbols form a progressive dynamic of revelation: from renewal, to communion, and ultimately to redemption. In the light of sacramental theology, these symbols not only reveal the identity of Jesus as the incarnate Word but also mediate a concrete experience of faith within the life of the Church. Thus, the Gospel of John demonstrates that God’s salvific work unfolds in an integral and continuous manner, remaining relevant for the contemporary practice of Christian faith.

The goal is not only to enrich the treasures of science with Islamic nuances, but also as a reference and comparison material for Islamic education managers in the following periods. This is in line with the principle generally adopted by the Indonesian Islamic community, which is to maintain the good traditions of the past and take new good traditions again. In this way, the efforts to develop Islamic educational institutions will not be radically rooted in their culture. The ethis politics or the politics of revenge of the Dutch colonial government to the Indonesian colonial people is a policy of the Dutch royal government to repay the sacrifices of the Indonesian people during the implementation of the cultuur stelsel or forced planting system. the people of the archipelago.
