As competition in this sector continues to intensify, MSMEs are required to adapt quickly through effective strategic planning. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, direct observations, documentation, and questionnaires, ensuring a holistic understanding of both internal and external conditions. The analysis was carried out using the SWOT framework, which identifies internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats. The findings reveal that AK Laundry possesses several strengths, including good relationships with its loyal customer base, competitive pricing that appeals to a wide range of market segments, and a strategic location that facilitates accessibility. However, weaknesses were also identified, such as limited promotional efforts, particularly in digital channels, and occasional delays in completing customer orders, which may affect satisfaction and trust. From an external perspective, AK Laundry has opportunities to expand its services, particularly through the growing demand for pickup and delivery facilities, as well as changes in consumer lifestyles that increasingly prioritize practicality and efficiency. Nevertheless, the enterprise must also address potential threats, such as intense competition in pricing strategies among similar businesses and the risk of item loss, which could undermine its reputation. Based on the SWOT matrix, AK Laundry is positioned in Quadrant I, indicating that it holds considerable potential for aggressive growth. Therefore, the recommended strategies include strengthening digital marketing initiatives, introducing innovative services to differentiate from competitors, enhancing employee competencies through training programs, and upgrading equipment to improve service quality and speed. These strategies are expected to help AK Laundry leverage its strengths and opportunities effectively, ensuring sustainable development and competitiveness in the MSME laundry service sector.

In the current digital era, managing sales transactions manually is inefficient and prone to recording errors. This research aims to develop a web-based Point of Sale (POS) application for the Phi Phi Thai business using the Extreme Programming (XP) software development methodology. XP was chosen for its support of rapid iteration, adaptability to changing user requirements, and strong collaboration between developers and stakeholders. The developed application includes key features such as user registration and login, product ordering, menu and customer management, expense tracking, and financial and sales reporting. Testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all functionalities performed according to specifications. The implementation results indicate that the application improves operational efficiency, reduces transaction errors, and provides real-time information for business owners to support better decision-making. Furthermore, the application of Extreme Programming (XP) methodology in the development process allows time for regular evaluation and refinement of the application based on feedback from end users. Each iteration produces a version of the software that can be immediately tested and used, minimizing the risk of system failure during final implementation. This approach also encourages lightweight yet relevant documentation and open communication between the technical team and business owners. Thus, the developed Point of Sale application not only meets current functional requirements but also has a high degree of flexibility for further development as Phi Phi Thai's business grows in the future.

This study examines the empowerment of civil servants and its contribution to improving the quality of public services in Southwest Papua Province, with particular focus on the Human Resources Development Personnel Agency (BKPSDM: Badan Kepegawaian Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia). The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to capture and analyze empowerment practices as well as their supporting and inhibiting factors. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, involving key informants such as the Head of BKPSDM and relevant staff members. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which consists of three stages: data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings reveal that empowerment practices at BKPSDM encompass structured recruitment policies for both Indigenous Papuans (OAP) and non-OAPs, systematic career development, provision of education and training programs, and implementation of fair compensation mechanisms. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing civil servants’ competencies, professionalism, motivation, and accountability, ultimately contributing to better service delivery to the public. Supporting factors identified include the existence of strong regulatory frameworks, leadership commitment, competency-based training opportunities, high internal motivation, and the establishment of a collaborative work culture. On the other hand, several inhibiting factors persist, such as limited and unequal access to training, inadequate infrastructure, frequent changes in regulations, discriminatory practices, and low levels of digital literacy among some employees. The study concludes that civil servant empowerment represents a strategic pathway to building a professional, accountable, and responsive state apparatus capable of delivering high-quality public services. To strengthen these efforts, recommendations highlight the importance of expanding training access, improving digital skills, ensuring infrastructure readiness, and maintaining inclusive and transparent policies. By addressing these challenges, civil servant empowerment can be optimized to achieve sustainable improvements in public service performance across Southwest Papua Province.

The low reading interest and literacy skills of elementary school children in Indonesia remain a problem that requires creative and sustainable solutions. Factors such as limited access to quality books, a lack of reading habits at home, and uninteresting learning approaches are often the causes of a weak literacy culture among students. To address this problem, the Student Community Service Program (KKN) of Sebelas Maret University students in Singodutan Village implemented an activity aimed at fostering a culture of literacy in children through a Reading Book Content-Based Project at SDN 3 Krisak. The concept of this activity integrates reading activities with the creation of creative projects that are appropriate to the content of the reading, so that students not only understand the text but are also able to process the information into real products. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type to understand students' experiences during the activity. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and literature review, which were then analyzed descriptively. Activities included selecting reading books appropriate to students' ability levels, shared reading, discussions about the reading content, and the creation of creative projects such as posters, picture stories, or artwork inspired by the reading material. The results of the activity showed an increase in student participation in reading activities, an increase in interest in books, and an improvement in their ability to process information into creative works. Furthermore, students demonstrated greater self-confidence when presenting their work to their classmates.

Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, and data analysis included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, and f-tests. The results of the study indicate that career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, career development and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. These findings indicate the importance of training, fair career opportunities, and an open and collaborative work culture in improving employee performance. Therefore, the Bima City Social Service is advised to continue improving career development and strengthening an organizational culture that supports performance. In addition, this study also highlights the importance of management's role in creating an environment that supports career development and a positive organizational culture. This study aims to analyze the influence of career development and job training on employee performance, with work motivation as an intervening variable, at the Pakan Rabaa Community Health Center in Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The background of this study is based on the importance of improving the quality of human resources through career development strategies and targeted job training programs, as well as the role of work motivation as a driving factor for employee performance. The research method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 66 respondents who are employees of the Pakan Rabaa Community Health Center. The results of the study show several important findings. First, career development has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Second, job training has a positive but insignificant effect on work motivation. Third, career development has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance. Fourth, job training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Fifth, work motivation has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance. Sixth, career development has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. Seventh, job training also had a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. This finding indicates that although career development and job training have a positive relationship with performance, the effect is not always significant when mediated by work motivation. Other factors beyond work motivation may also influence employee performance at the Pakan Rabaa Community Health Center. This study recommends that management strengthen career development and job training programs relevant to employee needs, while identifying other motivational factors that can further enhance performance.

This study aims to develop a model of passing practice that can improve volleyball game skills in elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The instrument used was a test of upper and lower passing skills within 60 seconds. Data analysis techniques include normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The sample in this study consisted of grade V students in one of the randomly selected elementary schools. The passing training model applied is a pair exercise with a distance of 10 meters, carried out routinely for three weeks with a frequency of three times a week. Each session lasts 40 minutes and is carried out under the supervision of a physical education teacher. The focus of the exercise is directed at improving the basic techniques of upper and lower passing which are gradually and pleasantly developed to suit the developmental characteristics of elementary school students. The results showed that the consistent application of the paired passing exercise model was able to improve the accuracy, coordination, and strength of students' arm muscles. In addition, it was found that there was an increase in student motivation and active participation in volleyball learning activities. This exercise model also creates a more interactive learning atmosphere and encourages students to work together, resulting in collaborative and meaningful learning. These findings prove that the use of a training model that is systematic, fun, and in accordance with the characteristics of learners can significantly improve the basic skills of the game of volleyball. This exercise has proven to be effective and can be used as an alternative learning method in physical education in elementary school. It is recommended that physical education teachers consider integrating this exercise model into the learning program so that student learning outcomes in volleyball can be more optimal and sustainable.
