Giving thanks in success is a natural and important part of a believer's life, especially when life is filled with abundance. However, the ability to remain grateful in the midst of failures and difficulties is a challenge in itself that tests the firmness of faith. In his letter to the Philippians, the Apostle Paul provides an example and an important message on how to remain grateful to God, even when he himself faced prison and suffering. This paper aims to explore the deep meaning of thanksgiving based on Philippians and how it can be applied in the daily lives of believers. Using a descriptive approach and relying on the Bible as the main source, this study reveals that Paul taught four main dimensions of thanksgiving: thanksgiving in suffering, thanksgiving in service, thanksgiving for Christ, and thanksgiving for God's blessings. True thanksgiving comes from a deep relationship with God, which enables one to remain steadfast in the midst of life's challenges. These principles become relevant to help believers live life with a grateful heart, both in easy and difficult circumstances, and find true peace in their faith journey.

Inflation is a significant economic challenge in Indonesia, affecting price stability and people's purchasing power. In a sharia economic perspective, inflation is not only seen as an economic phenomenon, but also involves moral and social aspects. This article discusses the role of sharia monetary instruments in controlling inflation in Indonesia, highlighting the principles of fairness and transparency. Instruments such as Bank Indonesia Sharia Certificates (SBIS), Bank Indonesia Sharia Savings Facilities (FASBIS), and Sharia Open Market Operations (OPT) have been implemented to regulate the amount of money in circulation and maintain economic stability. Although their contribution to controlling inflation is still limited, the potential of sharia instruments can be strengthened through increasing market understanding, education and collaboration between the government, Bank Indonesia and sharia financial institutions. With more optimal implementation, sharia monetary instruments can create a stable, fair and sustainable economic system for the Indonesian people.

The purpose of this research is to explore the principles of Islamic economics in adapting to the rapid developments in science, technology, and arts (STEM). Islamic economics focuses on several aspects, including material, spiritual, and moral dimensions. This illustrates that the principles of Islamic economics should be applied to a broader environment, including developments in science, technology, and arts (STEM). Islamic economics is a system that adheres to the principles of Islamic law (Sharia). The concept of Islamic economics includes: Balance, Justice, and Safety, which serve as the foundation for resource management. There are many opportunities within Islamic economics to establish a new financial system, such as reporting and recording based on Sharia and utilizing more optimal technology. The application of this new Sharia financial system plays an important role in strengthening the principles of Islamic economics, including the prohibition of usury (riba), uncertainty (gharar), unjust distribution of wealth, and investments that harm the community. Investment in Islamic economics is a means of placing funds with the aim of generating profit, while adhering to the principles of Islamic economics, making it a permissible activity that avoids elements of usury, gambling (maysir), and uncertainty (gharar). The implementation of these principles of Islamic economics will ultimately benefit the community and prevent any harm. People must pay more attention to the legal foundations set by Sharia, which provides clear guidelines for a prosperous and balanced life, covering both social and economic aspects as well as the environment.

This study explores the legal implications of regulations issued by the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI) regarding the necessity of obtaining approval from the heirs of the waqif (donor) for changes in nazhir (waqf administrators) or waqf purposes when the waqif has passed away. It examines the alignment of these regulations with both positive law and Islamic law principles, highlighting potential challenges and contradictions. The study emphasizes the significance of ensuring effective waqf management while maintaining compliance with Islamic law's foundational principles, which assert that waqf assets are separated from personal ownership and cannot be sold, rented, or inherited. However, current BWI regulations require heirs' involvement, raising questions about their potential impact on the flexibility and independence of waqf governance. The research concludes that while involving heirs aims to safeguard waqf assets, it may also introduce unnecessary complexities, potentially hindering the optimal use of waqf resources for public benefit.

During the classical era, Islamic economic thought drew heavily from the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith, as interpreted by scholars such as Abu Yusuf, al-Ghazali, and Ibn Khaldun. At the heart of this thinking are the principles of social justice, the prohibition of usury, and the need for a fair distribution of wealth. Recently, there have been important updates in Islamic economic thought, shaped by the global socio-economic context and the imperative to address modern economic problems. Key figures such as Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and Umar Chapra have played an important role in developing a more relevant Islamic economic theory, combining concepts such as Islamic banking, macroeconomics, and entrepreneurship based on Islamic ethics.

The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out about the Judge's considerations in issuing a Niet Ontvankelijk Verklaard (NO) verdict on domestic violence cases in military courts and to find out how the verdict should be issued on domestic violence cases in military courts. The type of research used is normative legal research because in this study the author focuses on the inconsistency between the expected conditions that have been regulated in the law and the reality that actually occurs, where this study uses a legislative approach, a case approach, and a conceptual approach. The conclusion of this study is that the Judge's consideration in issuing a Niet Ontvankelijk Verklaard (NO) verdict on domestic violence cases in military courts is because the victim has withdrawn her complaint before the main case examination, even though the withdrawal of the complaint violates Article 75 of the Criminal Code, the Judge still grants the request because the Judge uses the Supreme Court Decision Number 2238 K / Pid.Sus / 2013 dated March 5, 2014 and the Supreme Court Decision Number 1600-K / Pid / 2009 and the Judge prioritizes the value of justice in resolving the case and uses the principles of fast, simple, and low-cost justice. Because the Niet Ontvankelijk Verklaard (NO) verdict is not known in criminal cases, in the author's opinion, ideally the Judge should issue a suspended sentence because the type of suspended sentence is also a type of punishment and is not at all an acquittal or deletion, while the existence of a probationary period that has been determined by the Judge aims to educate the perpetrator to be more careful and able to improve themselves

Student character development is one of the main goals of education, especially in madrasas based on Islamic teachings. However, there are still many students who have difficulty internalizing Islamic values in their daily lives. This is influenced by a lack of spiritual understanding, weak self-control, and less than optimal guidance methods. Islamic counseling, which is based on the principles of the Qur'an and Hadith, is a relevant holistic approach to strengthen students' Islamic character through the cultivation of spiritual, intellectual, and social values. This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic counseling on students' character building in madrasah, identify the most affected character aspects, and provide recommendations for integrating Islamic counseling services into the Guidance and Counseling program. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research involved in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Data were collected from students, guidance teachers, and homeroom teachers to explore the experience and impact of Islamic counseling on students' characters, such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and empathy. The results showed that Islamic counseling is effective in improving student character, especially in terms of self-control and social interaction. The findings support the importance of integrating Islamic counseling services as part of the educational program in madrasah to achieve more optimal character building.
