This study analyzes the application of collaborative governance in overcoming the phenomenon of overcrowding of visitors and its impact on environmental security at Kaimana Hospital, West Papua. The background of the research is based on the imbalance in the capacity of hospital infrastructure (serving 65,490 people) with the high number of visits, exacerbated by the habit of the community transporting patients en masse and the massive use of JKN services. The descriptive qualitative method is used with data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews, observations, and visual documentation. The analysis refers to the theory of Ansell and Gash (2008) which includes starting conditions, institutional design, facilitative leadership, collaborative process, and outcome. The results of the study show that efforts such as limiting visiting hours and the construction of halfway houses are not optimal due to less participatory policy design, lack of structured dialogue between stakeholders, and top-down leadership. Overcrowding is triggered by narrow waiting rooms, limited facilities, and the disintegration of the queue system. Despite collaborative initiatives, the results are still partial due to weak cross-sector coordination and low community participation. Strategic suggestions include infrastructure improvement, the development of an integrated digital queuing system, intensive socialization, and the formation of collaborative teams across sectors (RSUD, government, TNI/POLRI, and the community). Conflict management training, periodic evaluation, and participatory leadership approaches are also needed to create sustainable service transformation. This study emphasizes that inclusive and transparent collaboration is the key to overcoming overcrowding and strengthening the safety of the hospital environment.

This study aims to describe the strategies used by classroom teachers in addressing students who experience reading difficulties at Al-Hidayah Private Elementary School. Reading difficulties among elementary school students are a common issue and can seriously impact their academic achievement in the future. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that reading difficulties are caused by both internal factors, such as a lack of basic phonological skills, and external factors, such as an unsupportive learning environment. To address these challenges, teachers implement adaptive learning strategies, including individual guidance, the use of visual and audio media, and phonetic-based learning approaches. Additionally, collaboration with parents plays an important role in supporting students’ learning processes at home. These strategies significantly help students improve their reading skills and build self-confidence. The study concludes that overcoming reading difficulties requires synergy between teacher strategies, appropriate learning methods, and supportive environments, both at school and at home.

This study investigates doctor–patient communication strategies in overcoming verbal and non-verbal language barriers within the Pain Clinic of RSUD Genteng Banyuwangi, a public hospital in East Java, Indonesia. Pain clinics pose unique communicative challenges, as patients often struggle to express their discomfort clearly due to limited health literacy, cultural norms, or emotional inhibitions. This research aims to identify and analyze the communicative methods employed by doctors to facilitate accurate information exchange and build therapeutic rapport with patients experiencing chronic pain. Utilizing a qualitative approach, this study applies Conversation Analysis (CA) to naturally occurring doctor–patient consultations recorded through non-intrusive video methods. Verbal and non-verbal interactions were transcribed and analyzed to uncover recurring communicative patterns. The data were interpreted through sociolinguistic and pragmatic lenses to account for the local language diversity and cultural context of Banyuwangi. Findings reveal that doctors employ multiple strategies to clarify meaning and adapt communication: repetition, strategic questioning, utterance correction, and linguistic adaptation. Additionally, doctors interpret and respond to patients' non-verbal cues, including vocal tone, facial expressions, and body gestures, to supplement incomplete verbal communication. These strategies not only enhance diagnostic accuracy but also promote empathy, trust, and patient-centered care. The study concludes that effective communication in pain clinics must account for linguistic diversity, cultural sensitivities, and emotional dynamics. Adaptive and empathetic communication fosters better understanding, reduces the risk of diagnostic error, and improves treatment outcomes. The findings offer practical implications for clinical training and healthcare policy, particularly in multicultural and linguistically diverse settings.

This study examines the concept of Islamic moral education according to Habib Umar Bin Hafidz and Habib Ali Al-Jufri, the methods of instilling moral values that they use, and the relevance of their thoughts in the context of today's education. Moral education currently faces various complex challenges, such as weak role models, less applicable approaches, and the negative influence of technological advances and social media that trigger moral dilemmas among the younger generation. The lack of integration of moral values in daily practice and the identity crisis due to globalization are also problems that hinder the formation of noble characters. The study used a qualitative approach with library research, collecting data from primary and secondary sources, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that Habib Umar places love for Allah and the Messenger as the core of moral values, with educational methods that prioritize role models and gentleness without coercion, relevant to forming character and spirituality in the modern era. Meanwhile, Habib Ali emphasizes humanitarian values such as compassion and tolerance as the foundation of moral education, with a moderate and inclusive approach that suits the needs of contemporary education. Both approaches provide important solutions in dealing with the problems of moral education, especially in building strong spiritual and social character amidst the dynamics of modern life, while also offering a foothold for overcoming the moral challenges faced by today's students.
