This study aims to analyze the effect of welfare inequality on poverty levels on the island of Sumatra. Welfare inequality is measured using the Gini Index, while poverty levels are measured by the percentage of the poor population at the provincial level. This study uses a quantitative method with a panel data approach covering ten provinces on the island of Sumatra during the period 2020–2024. The analytical techniques used include panel data regression with fixed and random effects models, as well as classical assumption testing to ensure model validity. The results show that welfare inequality has a positive and significant effect on poverty levels, meaning that increasing inequality in income distribution tends to increase the number of poor people. This finding indicates that uneven economic growth can worsen the welfare of the community, especially low-income groups. Therefore, more inclusive and sustainable development policies are needed, particularly in increasing equitable access to education, health services, and productive employment opportunities to reduce inequality and poverty levels on the island of Sumatra.

Low Birth Weight (LBW) is one of the leading causes of neonatal mortality and contributes to an increased risk of growth and developmental disorders in later life. Maternal nutritional status during pregnancy and the utilization of antenatal health services are important factors influencing fetal growth and development. Pregnant women with poor nutritional status are at higher risk of delivering low birth weight infants due to insufficient intake of essential nutrients required during pregnancy. In addition, inadequate utilization of antenatal care services may result in delayed detection and management of pregnancy-related complications. This study aimed to determine the relationship between maternal nutritional status and the utilization of health services with the incidence of LBW. The research employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all women who delivered in the working area of Puskesmas X in 2026. A total of 80 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected from maternal and child health (MCH) books and medical records and analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results showed a significant relationship between maternal nutritional status and the incidence of LBW (p=0.002), as well as between the utilization of health services and the incidence of LBW (p=0.004). It can be concluded that maternal nutritional status and compliance with antenatal visits are significantly associated with LBW, highlighting the need to improve nutritional monitoring and the quality of antenatal care services.

Hypertension is categorized as one of the most widespread chronic non-infectious conditions among the elderly and can heighten the risk of serious complications. A non-pharmacological strategy that may be implemented to manage hypertension is the administration of boiled moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera), which are known among scientific communities for possessing antioxidant agents and potent bioactive molecules that function synergistically in maintaining cardiovascular stability and decreasing arterial pressure. This empirical study sought to examine how far the intake of boiled moringa leaves contributes to reducing blood pressure values in hypertensive older adults living within Meunasah Papeun Village, situated in Krueng Barona Jaya Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District. The statistical evaluation showed a significant p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), confirming a substantial effect under a quantitative quasi-experimental approach applying the One Group Pretest-Posttest model. The research sample included 20 participants chosen from a total population of 77 individuals through purposive sampling. The investigation took place from May 27 to June 25. Data were obtained using observation forms, standard operating procedures (SOP) for moringa leaf preparation, and manual sphygmomanometer readings. The findings revealed that prior to the application of treatment, the mean systolic blood pressure reached a level of 193.30 mmHg, whereas following the intervention it displayed a considerable decrease, it fell to 129.75 mmHg. The mean diastolic pressure also exhibited a decrease from 94.00 mmHg, confirming the notable influence of moringa leaf decoction in controlling hypertension. In summary, moringa leaf infusion proved effective in lowering blood pressure among elderly individuals suffering from hypertension. It is recommended that patients regularly consume boiled moringa leaves when experiencing increased blood pressure, that community health services provide education regarding non-pharmacological hypertension management through moringa leaf decoction, and that further research explore this topic with broader variables.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of internal control in the receivables audit process and evaluate its effectiveness in minimizing the risk of bad debts in a health center environment. Receivables, especially those originating from health services to JKN participants and general patients, can cause problematic receivables if not managed effectively. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation review during the audit by a public accounting firm. The results of the study indicate that there are still weaknesses in the internal control structure such as suboptimal separation of duties, an unintegrated receivables information system and a weak bad debt reserve policy. In addition, late payments by third parties and poor patient administration knowledge are also external factors that influence the high risk of bad debts. Therefore, improving the internal control system, implementing information technology and strengthening coordination with the guarantor are very important to reduce the risk of bad debts and increase accountability for financial management in the health center environment.

Fishermen are an essential group in supporting national food security; however, their lives are still characterized by various social and economic challenges, such as unstable income, low education levels, and high household expenditure burdens. This research aims to provide an overview of the socio-economic conditions and welfare of Bouke Ami fishermen in the Nusantara Fisheries Port (PPN) Muara Angke, North Jakarta, through the Fishermen’s Exchange Rate (NTN) and Fishermen’s Exchange Rate Index (iNTN). The study was conducted in May–June 2025 using a descriptive method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to 100 Bouke Ami crew members (ABK). The results showed that the majority of crew members were aged 30–39 years, had completed only junior high school education, received health services through community health centers (puskesmas), had three family dependents, and most lived in their own homes. The average total monthly income of Rp5.733.500 is considered high as it exceeds the 2025 DKI Jakarta minimum wage (UMP) of Rp5.367.381. Meanwhile, the average total expenditure of Rp5.396.761 remains below income, indicating manageable household finances. The NTN value was 1,06 in April and 1,07 in May, resulting in an iNTN of 101%, indicating that Bouke Ami fishermen in PPN Muara Angke, North Jakarta, are at a level of economic welfare classified as prosperous with slight improvement. This increase reflects a modest rise in fishermen’s purchasing power between the two months and can serve as basis for formulating policies aimed at empowering coastal fishermen.

Patient satisfaction is a feeling that arises from the performance of health services that have been obtained after the patient compares it with what was expected. Rather than the reality that occurs there are still complaints about outpatient registration services based on electronic medical records, Frequent obstacles are if the network is disrupted, then access to the EMR can be hampered or cannot be accessed at all and the limited capacity of the waiting room is also an obstacle, especially with the large number of patients during peak hours so that many patients wait outside the waiting room. This study aims to determine the level of patient satisfaction in outpatient registration based on EMR. This study uses a quantitative method with a population of 13,750 and a sample of 99 outpatients. Based on the results of the study in 2025, it can be concluded that patient satisfaction with RME-based outpatient registration in the aspect of tangibles can be categorized as "Less Satisfied" especially regarding facilities such as AC/Television, from the aspect of reliability it can be categorized as "Satisfied" even though there are a few respondents who answered "Less Satisfied", from the aspect of responsiveness it can be categorized as "Satisfied" even though there are some patients who feel "Less Satisfied", from the aspect of assurance in RME-based outpatient registration it can be categorized as "Satisfied" but there are a small number of patients who answered "Less Satisfied" and from the aspect of empathy it can be categorized as "Satisfied" even though there are some patients who answered "Less Satisfied". So the researcher's suggestion is that the Hospital improves the quality of the waiting room, especially AC, television, increases the number of chairs and provides adequate seating for all patients, so that patients are more comfortable and avoid overcrowding

A safe and healthy environment is crucial to minimizing accidents and occupational diseases, and this is where Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) comes in. Workers in the informal sector, such as online drivers, are more likely to experience musculoskeletal problems, especially low back pain (LBP), because they frequently lack proper occupational protection and health services. LBP is a complaint of lower back pain that can be brought on by extended periods of static sitting, bad posture, and personal characteristics like body mass index, smoking, and length of service. The purpose of this program is to educate online drivers in Malang City, East Java, and help them avoid LBP. The risk of LBP can be decreased in part by promoting physical activity and education. One recommended intervention is the William Flexion Exercise (WFE), an exercise aimed at improving posture, increasing muscle strength and flexibility, and reducing lower back pain. Implementing WFE education and training for online car drivers is anticipated to strengthen OHS awareness and reduce the incidence of LBP among informal sector workers.
