This study aims to determine the influence of transformational leadership style, physical work environment, and intrinsic compensation on employee performance on CV. Nina Etik Garment Indonesia, a written batik industry operating in Mojokerto. The background of this research departs from the phenomenon of low employee productivity which is allegedly influenced by internal and external factors of the organization. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a census method for all permanent employees totaling 39 people. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) based on the SmartPLS 4.1.1.2 application. The results show that only the physical work environment has a significant effect on employee performance. This indicates that the factors of comfort, security, and the feasibility of work facilities have a dominant role in improving employee performance. In contrast, transformational leadership styles and intrinsic compensation have not been shown to have a significant impact. These findings provide an idea that the motivation of employees in the creative industry sector based on local culture such as written batik is more influenced by the real working conditions they face on a daily basis than by a leadership approach or non-financial reward alone. The practical implication of this research is the need for company management to prioritize improving the physical aspects of the work environment, such as lighting, ventilation, cleanliness, and ergonomic workspace layout. By creating a comfortable and supportive work environment, employee productivity and performance can be significantly improved. In addition, although there is no significant effect in this study, leadership style and intrinsic compensation still need to be considered in order to create a balance in the sustainable human resource management strategy and be able to support innovation, creativity, and competitiveness of the company.

Schools are not only institutions for the transfer of knowledge but also environments that play a crucial role in shaping students’ behavior and instilling positive habits, one of which is environmental care. One form of environmental concern that can be cultivated from an early age is the discipline of disposing of waste properly. However, SD Negeri Jambewangi, located in Dusun Pesantren, has not yet fully implemented effective waste sorting practices. Waste disposal is still carried out without distinguishing between organic and inorganic waste, which may have negative impacts on the school environment. To address this issue, community service activities were carried out by KKN students from Universitas Tidar through outreach programs and the distribution of sorted waste bins. The socialization activity applied the Extend Parallel Process Model (EPPM) communication strategy using a Severity Model approach, which emphasized the dangers and consequences of improper waste management practices. During the sessions, students were encouraged to discuss and identify various types of waste, as well as the potential environmental and health impacts associated with them. Direct practice was also provided by encouraging students to actively participate in sorting waste before disposal into the designated bins. The implementation of this program showed a positive impact, as students demonstrated an increased understanding of waste management and began to practice sorting waste more consistently. The provision of separate bins for organic and inorganic waste further facilitated this new habit. It is expected that the discipline of sorting and properly disposing of waste will continue to be applied by students, teachers, and the entire school community. Such continuous practices can foster collective awareness, contribute to maintaining environmental cleanliness, and provide long-term benefits not only for the school but also for the surrounding community.

During storage and before consumption, grains often experience a decline in quality, nutritional content, and cleanliness due to pest attacks. Botanical insecticides are considered an alternative method to reduce dependence on harmful chemical pesticides. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of three concentrations of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) synthesized from the leaves of Cymbopogon citratus against Cadra cautella (Walk.) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) and their potential as biological control agents. The selection of C. cautella as the test organism was based on the limited number of studies examining this pest. The AgNPs used were synthesized through an eco-friendly method, and their optical and physical properties were analyzed using UV-Vis spectroscopy. The results demonstrated that AgNPs synthesized from C. citratus extract showed high effectiveness in controlling the eggs and second instar larvae of C. cautella. Egg mortality reached 80.3% at a concentration of 40 μg/ml after 24 hours of exposure, followed by 72.9% at 30 μg/ml, and 65.8% at 20 μg/ml. In contrast, the control group showed no egg mortality. Similarly, larval mortality rates were 74.9%, 65.8%, and 60.2% for concentrations of 40 μg/ml, 30 μg/ml, and 20 μg/ml, respectively. These findings indicate that higher concentrations of AgNPs lead to greater mortality in both eggs and larvae. This study highlights the potential of green-synthesized AgNPs from C. citratus leaves as an effective and eco-friendly biopesticide. Their significant impact on egg and larval mortality suggests that they can be developed as an alternative pest control strategy in stored grains, thereby reducing reliance on conventional chemical pesticides that are detrimental to human health and the environment. Further research is recommended to explore their long-term efficacy, safety, and integration into sustainable grain storage management.

Pempek is a traditional Indonesian food that is widely loved by people because of its delicious taste and easy availability in various regions, especially in coastal areas. However, although pempek is made from ingredients that are generally safe for consumption, the unhygienic production process has the potential to cause contamination by pathogenic bacteria. The process of making pempek involves many hands, unsterile processing, and inadequate storage can increase the risk of bacterial proliferation, especially in food served by street vendors. This study aims to identify the presence of pathogenic bacteria in pempek sold by street vendors around the campus environment. By using sample dilution methods, inoculation onto Nutrient Agar (NA) media, as well as colony morphology differentiation and Gram staining, this study successfully identified several pathogenic bacteria that have the potential to harm health. The bacteria found included Staphylococcus sp., known as a pathogen causing food poisoning, E. coli which can cause gastrointestinal disorders, and Pseudomonas sp. which can cause skin and respiratory infections. Based on the results of this study, it is important for local food producers to maintain cleanliness and ensure hygienic production processes so that the food sold is safe for consumption. Furthermore, food quality monitoring by authorities and education for producers on the importance of hygiene in food preparation need to be strengthened to prevent the risk of foodborne illnesses. Furthermore, regular inspections of food sold by street vendors are crucial to ensure it is free from harmful microbial contamination. Implementing proper sanitation procedures at every stage of pempek production, from selecting raw materials to serving, can minimize the risk of microbial contamination.

Design in the perspective of Hadith encompasses not only visual and physical aspects but also incorporates moral, social, and spiritual values taught in Islam. In everyday life, Islam encourages its followers to create an orderly, clean, and beneficial environment and lifestyle in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This study employs a thematic Hadith approach by collecting and analyzing Hadiths related to the theme of design, such as cleanliness, simplicity, beauty, social balance, and sincere intention. The Hadith sources used include authentic collections such as Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, and Sunan Abu Dawood. The findings reveal that design, according to Hadith, is a comprehensive effort to shape a life aligned with Islamic values, emphasizing ethics, usefulness, and balance between worldly life and the hereafter. Thus, the concept of design in Hadith is not merely a matter of aesthetics but also a form of worship that reflects noble character and brings individuals closer to Allah SWT.
