Attendance systems are crucial for school management, including at MAS Al Riyadhul Janah. In today's advanced digital era, a web-based attendance system offers a modern solution to improve the efficiency of recording employee attendance.  Currently, MA Al Riyadhul Janah uses a conventional paper-based system for recording student attendance, which is inefficient. This new system is expected to simplify and expedite the attendance process. This research employs the Waterfall system development model.  System design utilizes the Unified Modeling Language (UML), while application implementation uses PHP for the web interface and MySQL for the database. The final product is a web-based attendance application for students. This application is expected to improve the accuracy of attendance data and simplify the monthly attendance summary process.   Keywords: Attendance, Web, QR Code, MySQL

The Population and Civil Registration Office of Situbondo Regency faces challenges in improving the efficiency of recording and reporting the performance of Non-ASN employees, which has so far been conducted through temporary notes and documents. This approach is prone to delays, input errors, and suboptimal data management. To address this issue, this study aims to design a web-based information system capable of recording, managing, and displaying Non-ASN employee performance reports in a structured and real-time manner. The system is developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database to support dynamic and integrated data management. The system development follows the V-Model approach, which emphasizes verification and validation at each development stage, including requirement analysis, system design, module design, implementation, unit and integration testing, and maintenance. The result of this study is an information system that facilitates performance data entry, accelerates report generation, and improves accuracy and transparency in evaluating Non-ASN employee performance. In addition, the system is designed with a responsive web interface that is easy for stakeholders to use.

The DH Building of the Electrical Engineering Study Program at Udayana University faces significant challenges in energy efficiency, as it still relies on conventional electrical systems. User negligence, such as forgetting to switch off lights and air conditioners (AC) after use, often results in unnecessary energy waste and increased operational costs. This issue highlights the urgent need for smart solutions capable of automating energy management, reducing waste caused by human error, and supporting the creation of a more efficient and sustainable campus environment. To address this problem, this study designs and implements a smart building system based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The system employs a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller as the main processing unit, integrated with a series of sensors including a DHT22 sensor for monitoring temperature and humidity, an MQ2 sensor for smoke detection, a PIR sensor for motion detection, and a PZEM-004T sensor for monitoring energy consumption. Control of electronic devices such as lights and AC units is carried out both automatically and manually through relay modules connected to the system. All sensor data and control functions are accessed via a web interface developed using the Laravel framework and a MySQL database. The testing results indicate that the designed system was successfully implemented and functions as expected. Sensor testing demonstrated high accuracy compared to standard measuring instruments, while the electronic device control system achieved an average response time of approximately 3.6 seconds, proving its reliability. Overall, the system provides a comprehensive solution for energy consumption monitoring and control, while also enhancing comfort and safety in the DH Building, in line with the goals of energy efficiency and facility modernization.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus and transmitted through the bite of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. In 2023, 48 cases of DHF were reported in the Kebun Lada Public Health Center area, reflecting a high incidence rate and limited medical resources in managing the cases. This situation emphasizes the need for an alternative solution that can support a fast and accurate diagnostic process. This study aims to develop an expert system for diagnosing DHF using the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method. CBR functions by comparing the symptoms experienced by patients with previous cases stored in the knowledge base, thereby producing relevant diagnostic recommendations. The proposed system is implemented as a web-based application using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database management system. The expected outcomes of this study are to assist medical personnel in reducing diagnostic time, improving the accuracy of decision-making, and increasing the effectiveness of health services in primary healthcare facilities. In addition, the system is designed to provide wider access for the community to recognize early symptoms of DHF, which can contribute to preventive actions and reduce the risk of severe complications. Thus, the developed expert system has the potential to become a practical solution to overcome the shortage of medical personnel and enhance public health awareness.

The Student Evaluation of Lecturers (EDOM) at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Dr. Soetomo has historically been conducted via Google Forms and processed manually, resulting in slow response times, repetitive recap procedures, and insufficiently documented reporting validity. This study aims to design, build, and evaluate a web-based EDOM system using the Prototype Model (MODEL PROTOTYPE) to improve data collection efficiency, recap accuracy, and the effectiveness of feedback for teaching quality assurance. The development method comprises requirements elicitation with the Quality Assurance Unit through a review of SPMI documents and brief interviews, architectural and interface design (Laravel, MVC pattern, and MySQL), staged prototyping, and rapid iterations based on stakeholder feedback until functional conformity is achieved. The resulting system provides authentication and role-based authorization (Admin, GPM, Lecturer, Student), odd/even period management, a question bank employing a Likert scale, anonymous questionnaire submission, score recap per lecturer and per category (pedagogical, professional, personal, social), dashboard visualizations, and report export to support governance needs. Functional evaluation was conducted through black-box testing on core scenarios (login, period scheduling, submission, recap, and export) and indicated conformance to specifications. User acceptance evaluation employed the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to examine perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward use, and behavioral intention; the results indicate positive acceptance and potential for operational adoption. Practically, the prototype approach accelerates requirement alignment, reduces the risk of mis-specification, and facilitates change control, while the Laravel-based implementation supports maintainability, role-based access security, and further feature development. The study is limited to a single faculty; future work may include SSO integration, audit trails, and longitudinal, cross-semester analytics for more comprehensive monitoring of lecturer performance.

Traffic violations are one of the serious problems frequently occurring in various regions, including Binjai City. Various types of violations, such as disobeying road signs and markings, incomplete vehicle documents, and violations that threaten the safety of drivers and other road users, continue to increase despite preventive and repressive efforts carried out by the authorities. This condition indicates that handling traffic violations cannot rely solely on field enforcement but also requires the support of technology capable of analyzing data more comprehensively. This study aims to predict the level of traffic violations by applying the Naïve Bayes method through data mining techniques. The dataset used consists of traffic violation records in 2023 from the Binjai City Police Department, with the main variables including violations of traffic signs and markings, document completeness, and safety-related violations. The Naïve Bayes method was selected because of its ability to perform classification with good accuracy, simplicity, and efficiency in processing large amounts of data. The implementation of this research is realized by developing a web-based application using Visual Studio Code as the development environment and MySQL as the database system. The results of this study are expected to provide structured information regarding traffic violation patterns, support authorities in making more effective decisions, and serve as an alternative solution in the prevention and handling of traffic violations in Binjai City.

Sistem informasi penilaian kinerja karyawan menggunakan metode  Simple Additive Weighting (SAW)  dirancang untuk membantu PT Djambi Waras Jujuhan dalam menentukan penilaian kinerja karyawan berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Sistem ini menggunakan bahasa pemograman  PHP dan MySQL sebagai basis data. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada karyawan bagian produksi dan non-staf, dan sistem ini dapat diakses oleh admin dan pengguna tertentu, seperti bagian kepala kantor dan staf personalia. Sistem ini dapat membantu dalam menentukan penilaian kinerja karyawan dengan lebih akurat dan efisien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas penilaian kinerja karyawan. Sistem ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk mencakup lebih banyak kriteria penilaian dan metode penilaian lainnya. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi contoh bagi perusahaan lain yang ingin mengembangkan sistem penilaian kinerja karyawan yang lebih efektif. Pelayanan informasi publik di Desa Teluk Sikumbang masih dilakukan secara manual dan terbatas, seperti melalui mading atau pengumuman lisan. Kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi menyebabkan informasi yang disampaikan tidak tersebar secara efektif kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi desa berbasis web yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penyampaian informasi dan mempermudah masyarakat dalam mengakses informasi publik desa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall, dan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database Mysql dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, hingga pengujian menggunakan black box testing. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa sistem informasi berbasis web yang memuat modul beranda, profil desa, berita, pengumuman, galeri, pengaduan, dan kontak. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu menjadi solusi dalam pelayanan informasi.

Perkembangan teknologi informasi menuntut lembaga pendidikan untuk memiliki sistem yang efektif dan efisien dalam mengelola data pembayaran siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem informasi pembayaran Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan (SPP) berbasis web pada SMKN 7 Tebo. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu mempermudah pengelolaan data pembayaran, meminimalkan kesalahan pencatatan, serta meningkatkan transparansi informasi kepada pihak sekolah dan orang tua siswa. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan dengan Unified Modelling Language (UML), implementasi menggunakan PHP dan MySQL, serta pengujian black box untuk memastikan fungsionalitas sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menangani pengolahan data siswa, pencatatan transaksi pembayaran, pembuatan laporan, serta pencetakan bukti pembayaran secara efektif. Dengan adanya sistem ini, proses administrasi pembayaran SPP menjadi lebih cepat, akurat, dan terintegrasi, sehingga meningkatkan kualitas layanan sekolah kepada siswa dan orang tua.

Typhoid fever is a significant health issue caused by the Salmonella Typhi bacteria, leading to symptoms such as fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, muscle pain, and serious complications if not treated promptly. A common challenge faced by society is limited access to medical professionals, especially in remote areas, and delays in recognizing symptoms. To address this problem, this study designs and implements a web-based expert system using the Certainty Factor (CF) method, which helps diagnose typhoid fever quickly and accurately. The Certainty Factor method is used to calculate the certainty level of the symptoms experienced by the patient, providing a diagnosis result in the form of early-stage typhoid, mild typhoid, or severe typhoid. The system was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database, and tested at RSUD Djoelham Binjai City. The research data was obtained from patients at RSUD Djoelham Binjai with a case study on patient number 22. The processing of symptoms through Certainty Factor calculation showed that the patient is most likely to have severe typhoid with a certainty value of 0.9443 or 94.43%. This result proves that the Certainty Factor method can be used to assist in providing an accurate early diagnosis of typhoid fever with a high degree of accuracy.

The development of information technology has brought significant changes to the medical device procurement process, particularly within government institutions such as the Health Office. The procurement of appropriate, efficient, and objective medical devices is crucial to supporting optimal medical services, yet the decision-making process is often constrained by limited budgets and the complexity of multiple assessment criteria. This study aims to design and implement a decision support system (DSS) based on the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method to provide recommendations for medical device procurement at the Binjai Health Office. The DSS evaluates six main criteria: price, quality, durability, ease of maintenance, medical necessity, and safety level, using procurement data from the 2022–2024 period. The TOPSIS method is applied to calculate the relative closeness of each alternative to the ideal solution, enabling decision-makers to rank medical device options objectively and systematically. The findings show that the DSS successfully prioritizes procurement alternatives, helping stakeholders allocate budgets more effectively and transparently. In addition, the system minimizes subjective bias by integrating quantitative analysis with clearly defined criteria. The system is implemented in a web-based environment with MySQL as the database, ensuring accessibility and scalability for future use. Overall, this research demonstrates that integrating TOPSIS into a decision support system can enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and accountability of medical device procurement in public health agencies. The study is expected to contribute to improving budget management and strengthening the quality of health services through better resource allocation.

Efficient operations of PT PLN, as a vital electricity provider, heavily rely on effective service management, including customer data collection and payment processing. Employee performance supervision is crucial to ensure optimal results and customer satisfaction, given that traditional manual systems often suffer from inefficiencies, inaccuracies, and delays. This research aims to develop and implement a web-based performance monitoring system for electricity bill delivery officers to enhance operational efficiency and accountability at PT PLN. The Waterfall method was adopted as a systematic development framework, encompassing stages of requirements analysis, design using Unified Modeling Language (UML) such as use case diagrams and activity diagrams, implementation with PHP and MySQL, and black box testing to validate system functionality. The results of the black box testing indicate that all main functions of the system, including user authentication, user data management, uploading of daily reports and supporting files by officers, and the administrator's ability to monitor and review reports, function as expected. The successful implementation of this system indicates its capability to overcome the limitations of manual methods and provide real-time visibility into the performance of field officers. Thus, this web-based monitoring system not only contributes to improving data accuracy and operational efficiency at PT PLN but also supports more informative and strategic managerial decision-making, aligning with digital transformation initiatives in the energy sector

The development of IT has a huge impact, so all information can be obtained easily and quickly. In addition, technology can help many humans in all activities in organizations, companies, and schools. Researchers designed an information system to provide an overview or profile of an elementary school, SD Negeri 4 Puu Kapaka. The system was built using the PHP and MySql programming languages with the codeigniter framework. The school profile information system can provide information about schools, facilities, news, and also activities that have been carried out by the school. The results of this study show that this application using the Codeigniter framework can meet the needs of the system desired by the school.

Currently, the use of data mining technology has become essential in enhancing business management efficiency, including in the trending coffee shop industry. Data mining allows business owners to analyze sales information in depth, enabling more accurate decision-making regarding inventory management, promotions, and sales strategies. This study aims to implement the Apriori algorithm to analyze sales data at Menrabic Coffee Shop. The Apriori algorithm is used to discover association patterns or relationships between products frequently purchased together by customers, which can assist management in providing inventory that aligns with customer preferences. The research method illustrates the detailed implementation process of the Apriori algorithm, starting from sales data collection, data cleaning, programming, and analysis of the results. The implementation uses web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, MySQL, and JavaScript, while back-end logic is programmed with PHP. The results of applying this algorithm reveal the most popular sales patterns among customers, providing valuable insights for management to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction. Therefore, this study demonstrates that applying data mining with the Apriori algorithm can be an effective tool for understanding consumer behavior and supporting data-driven decision-making at Menrabic Coffee Shop. By utilizing these insights, management can optimize inventory, enhance sales strategies, and ultimately increase overall business efficiency.

This research aims to develop a transaction data security system on the web-based Pancadaya Waste Bank application by applying a hybrid cryptographic algorithm that combines Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA). The problem faced in the previous system is the weak recording and security of customer transaction data, because the process is still carried out manually so that it is prone to recording errors, loss of important information, and potential misuse of data by unauthorized parties. To answer these problems, this study uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method which allows the application development process to be carried out quickly, flexibly, structured, and according to user needs. The research method used was a qualitative approach with interview techniques with the management of the Pancadaya Waste Bank and the Environment Office, as well as an in-depth literature study on the application of hybrid cryptographic algorithms in modern information systems. The system is built using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and OpenSSL library as the main support for the data encryption and decryption process. The implementation of the algorithm is carried out by encrypting transaction data using AES for efficiency and speed, then the AES key is secured through RSA to ensure a higher level of security while preventing illegal access. The test results showed that the system was able to encrypt and decrypt transaction data in real-time, as well as display transaction results in the form of digital notes on deposit and balance withdrawal activities. In addition, performance tests using GTmetrix showed that the application has excellent speed, stability, and processing efficiency, making it feasible to be widely implemented in Pancadaya Waste Bank operations.

The manual payroll process for honorary staff at the Department of Trade of Nabire Regency often leads to calculation errors and administrative delays, affecting employee satisfaction. This study aims to develop a more efficient and accurate payroll information system. The system is designed using the Java programming language and MySQL database, following the Waterfall development method. Through requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation, the system has been developed to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the payroll process. Test results show that the system successfully reduces calculation errors by up to 90% and shortens the payroll processing time. Therefore, this system is expected to be a practical solution for the Department of Trade to manage honorary staff payments more effectively.

PT. Sinarta Karya Papua, a medium-scale enterprise in Eastern Indonesia, faces operational challenges due to its reliance on manual sales recording systems, leading to data duplication, delayed reporting, and limited information transparency. This hinders operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. This study aims to develop a web-based sales management information system addressing these issues using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, selected for its rapid prototyping and iterative adaptation to user needs. Data was gathered through field observations, semi-structured interviews with staff and management, and literature reviews on information systems and RAD. The system was developed with PHP and MySQL to ensure flexibility and reliable data management. Findings demonstrate the successful integration of sales transaction processing, customer management, inventory control, and real-time reporting modules. Comprehensive functional testing (Blackbox Testing) confirmed 100% operational accuracy across all features, significantly improving record-keeping efficiency and information accessibility. The primary contribution lies in implementing RAD within Papua's unique business context—an underexplored area in existing literature. The system delivers a practical solution for PT. Sinarta Karya Papua while serving as a reference model for similar enterprises in geographically challenging regions. Key implications include enhanced organizational competitiveness through digital transformation and the potential replication of this framework across other business sectors in Eastern Indonesia.

Manual letter archiving in government institutions often faces various challenges, such as limited storage space, the risk of document loss, and slow information retrieval processes. This study aims to design and implement a web-based letter archiving information system as a solution to improve the efficiency and transparency of document management at the Forestry Office of Central Papua Province. The system development method adopts the Scrum approach, allowing for iterative development and adaptability to changing user needs. The system was built using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database, and includes features such as archiving incoming and outgoing letters, document tracking, quick search functionality, and archive category management. The implementation results show that the developed system significantly enhances the speed and accuracy of letter management, minimizes data entry errors, and strengthens institutional accountability and operational efficiency. This system provides a substantial contribution to the digitalization of public administration services, particularly in managing official documents.

The development of digital technology has driven transformation across various sectors, including the food and beverage industry. Dessert businesses face challenges in improving operational efficiency and competitiveness in the digital market. One possible solution is the use of websites as marketing and sales platforms. However, without proper management methods, the utilization of this technology will not be optimal. Therefore, this study applies the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) method to develop a website- based dessert sales system aimed at enhancing business efficiency and customer satisfaction. This study employs a descriptive approach with the POAC method in website-based marketing strategies. The planningphase involves designing e-commerce features, such as product catalogs, an online ordering system, and digital payments. The organizing phase focuses on resource management and technology integration, while actuating includes implementing the system using MySQL, PHP, and CodeIgniter. The controlling phase is conducted through system testing using the Blackbox Testing method to evaluate application performance. The study results indicate that implementing the POAC method in a website- based system enhances the operational efficiency of dessert businesses. Transaction records become more accurate, customers can easily access product information, and the digital payment system improves transaction convenience. Furthermore, the website enables businesses to reach a broader market without geographical limitations. The implementation of the POAC method in website-based business management has proven to improve marketing and sales effectiveness.
