The developed countries already have legal mechanisms in place to accommodate changes in their societies. Meanwhile, developing countries are not like that. In fact, the hopes and desires of people in developing countries for the realization of changes that bring about a greater improvement in living standards exceed the expectations needed by people in developed countries. The growth and economic development of the Indonesian state and in the world will be much influenced by fair business competition among business actors, both now and in the future. While, the healthy competition will be determined by legal policies in economic development; legal policies in business competition; politics of law formation and decision-making processes in the formation of business competition law

The rapid development of e-commerce in Indonesia has a significant impact on the growth of the digital economy, but also presents major challenges related to environmental sustainability. This study aims to evaluate the environmental impacts caused by e-commerce activities, especially in terms of increasing plastic waste from single-use packaging, carbon emissions in logistics activities, and energy consumption from data centers. Through a literature study and descriptive analysis approach, this study highlights the large contribution of the e-commerce sector to the volume of domestic waste and the need for effective mitigation strategies. In addition to identifying existing challenges, this study also explores various sustainable practices, such as the use of environmentally friendly packaging, consumer education, and the development of low-emission logistics systems. The results of the study indicate that sustainability in e-commerce can only be achieved through collaboration between the government, business actors, and the community. Strict regulations, technological innovation, and increased consumer awareness are needed so that e-commerce can develop in line with the principles of environmental sustainability.

This study aims to explore the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) through the digital system "MyCore" in measuring and improving employee performance at Bank BRI Unit Sokaraja Tengah. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with key informants, observations of work practices, and analysis of internal documents (performance reports, SOPs). Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions with verification through source triangulation. The research findings indicate that the "MyCore" system integrates four BSC perspectives (finance, customer, internal business process, learning & growth) with specific performance indicators that affect incentives and career development. The financial and customer perspectives appear to have a strong emphasis, reflected in the direct impact on incentives and bonuses. The implementation of internal business processes is supported by standardization through MyCore and technology adoption. The importance of the learning and growth perspective is realized through regular training programs and bootcamp interventions for low-performing employees, which have proven effective in improving subsequent evaluation scores. In general, the implementation of the BSC via MyCore creates a structured, transparent, and adaptive assessment mechanism, encouraging productivity and professionalism. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of a transparent performance evaluation system that has a direct impact on career development and incentives, while also demonstrating the effectiveness of structured interventions in improving employee performance at the micro banking unit level.

The rapid development of information technology has significantly driven the growth of e-commerce as one of the main channels in modern commercial activities. In the beauty product sector, digital platforms offer consumers easier access and simultaneously expand market reach for business actors. However, this advancement also brings various challenges, particularly in relation to consumer protection. Common issues include product authenticity, information transparency, transaction security, and dispute resolution mechanisms. In this context, legal protection for consumers has become an urgent matter that cannot be overlooked. This study aims to analyze the forms of legal protection available to consumers of beauty products in e-commerce transactions and to assess the effectiveness of existing regulations in addressing these challenges. Using a normative juridical approach, the study evaluates relevant legislation, such as Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, along with other regulations related to electronic transactions. The findings reveal that although legal instruments have been established to safeguard consumer rights, their implementation still encounters obstacles, including limited supervision of online business actors and low consumer literacy regarding their rights. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen regulations, improve consumer education, and optimize the roles of supervisory and dispute resolution institutions. In this way, the consumer protection system in the e-commerce sector—particularly for beauty products—can operate more effectively and provide a greater sense of security for the public in conducting digital transactions.

This study uses a qualitative method by analyzing 15 relevant journals to examine the optimization of productive waqf in the development of Islamic microeconomics. Productive waqf has great potential as an instrument for empowering the people's economy, especially in supporting the sharia-based micro and small business sector. This study found that the use of waqf productively can create economic sustainability through the management of waqf assets for productive activities such as agriculture, trade, and microfinance services. Through good governance strategies, transparency, and adequate regulatory support, productive waqf has been proven to increase community income, create jobs, and reduce economic inequality. In addition, collaboration between professional nadzir and Islamic financial institutions is the key to success in implementing productive waqf. This research examines the impact of leadership style and communication on staff performance within an energy sector organization in Madura. The primary problem addressed is the need to understand how different leadership attributes and communication effectiveness impact employee productivity and satisfaction. In today’s competitive business environment, effective leadership and communication are essential for achieving organizational goals and fostering a motivated workforce. The objective of the study is to identify key indicators of leadership and communication that contribute to enhanced employee performance, thereby providing actionable insights for organizational improvement. A quantitative survey method was employed, utilizing a structured questionnaire with Likert scale items to gather data from 50 employees. This approach allowed for the collection of measurable data regarding employee perceptions of their leaders' styles and communication effectiveness. The analysis revealed that communication skills and the ability to control subordinates were rated highest by respondents, indicating satisfaction in these areas. However, lower ratings for motivational ability and emotional control suggest areas for improvement, highlighting the need for leaders to develop these critical skills further. The findings support the hypothesis that effective leadership and communication are critical for fostering a productive work environment, with significant implications for organizational success. The study concludes that organizations should prioritize leadership development and communication training to enhance employee engagement and performance. Limitations include the focus on a single industry, suggesting the need for further research across diverse sectors to validate these findings and explore their long-term impact on organizational outcomes. Future studies could also investigate the interplay between leadership styles and employee performance over time, providing deeper insights into effective management practices.

With 65 million entities, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) form the backbone of the Indonesian economy, contributing around 61% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) and employing 97% of the working population. Despite their strategic role, most MSMEs still face various challenges, such as low adaptability to changes in the business environment, lack of planning strategies, minimal innovation, and limitations in utilizing technology. On the other hand, current consumer behavior increasingly demands quality products and practical services, including in terms of payment systems. Along with the development of the digital era, non-cash payment systems, such as e-money and QR codes, have experienced rapid growth and become important elements in encouraging financial inclusion and transaction efficiency. QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) is present as an innovative solution that allows MSMEs to make transactions quickly, safely, and easily by simply scanning a QR code. Realizing the importance of utilizing this technology, the community service (PkM) team conducted training activities on the creation and use of QRIS for the "Zea Ice" Orange Juice micro business actor in Deltasari Indah, Sidoarjo, East Java. This activity includes QR code creation, printing, and attaching barcodes to kiosks, as well as technical education related to their use. This initiative is expected to increase transaction efficiency, encourage the implementation of digitalization, and increase the competitiveness of MSMEs in an increasingly competitive market.
