This community engagement program was initiated in response to the predominance of academically oriented perceptions among parents regarding children’s intelligence, which tend to limit the recognition of children’s potential to cognitive achievement alone. The program aimed to enhance parents’ literacy and awareness of the Multiple Intelligences framework as a foundational basis for holistic child education in an Islamic elementary school context. A Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach was employed, encompassing participatory planning, conceptual socialization sessions, child potential mapping workshops, collective reflection, and continuous evaluation. The findings highlight substantive outcomes. Parents experienced a significant paradigm shift in understanding the diversity of children’s intelligences, moving from a single-dimensional academic perspective toward a more comprehensive and appreciative view of individual potential. Parenting practices became more supportive, dialogical, and less comparative. In addition, a parents’ communication forum emerged as a new social institution within the school community, accompanied by the rise of local leadership that contributes to program sustainability. These results demonstrate that educational mentoring grounded in the Multiple Intelligences framework effectively promotes social transformation in Islamic elementary education through strengthened collaboration between school and family.

The socialization activity on personal and environmental hygiene at SDN 19 Sungai Kakap was conducted to improve students’ knowledge, attitudes, and awareness regarding the importance of maintaining personal cleanliness and a healthy school environment. This activity addressed the common issue of limited understanding and practice of hygiene among elementary school students, which can affect health and learning outcomes. The methods used included interactive counseling sessions, practical demonstrations of proper hygiene practices such as handwashing and waste disposal, and the use of visual educational media to increase student engagement and comprehension. The effectiveness of the activity was measured using pre-test and post-test evaluations. The results showed a 75% increase in students’ knowledge levels after the intervention, accompanied by observable positive behavioral changes related to cleanliness both at school and at home. Students demonstrated improved habits in maintaining personal hygiene and participating in keeping their environment clean. Despite challenges such as limited time allocation and inadequate cleaning facilities, the activity successfully fostered sustainable awareness and encouraged the formation of healthy habits. Therefore, it is recommended that similar socialization activities be conducted regularly using varied educational methods and supported by adequate hygiene facilities to strengthen long-term behavioral change.

Pepper is currently not only used to meet daily needs but also as an export commodity. Indonesian pepper exports generate foreign exchange for the country. Currently, international competition for pepper exports is increasingly fierce. An evaluation of the level of market competition and the structure of the pepper market at the international level is necessary. The methods used to analyze the level of competition concentration and market structure are the Concentration Ratio of Biggest Four (CR4) and the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI). The types of pepper discussed in this study are white pepper with HS code 090411 and black pepper with HS code 090412. The results obtained indicate that both black and white pepper tend to be in an oligopoly market structure with a relatively high level of competition. Such market conditions are a distinct advantage for Indonesia, as there are not too many competitors while buyers or enthusiasts are quite high. A striking difference occurs in the international black pepper trade. In the black pepper trade, Indonesia is not classified as a country with the largest market share.

Contemporary church ministry is often trapped in a seasonal pattern, with increased activity only during major events like Christmas and Easter, while stagnating at other times. This phenomenon indicates a fundamental problem in leadership patterns that are not poverty-oriented. This article analyzes the roots of seasonal church ministry through a qualitative-descriptive approach and theological reflection based on Osmer's framework. Literature reviews by Barna, Maxwell, Banks & Ledbetter, as well as the leadership principles of Jesus Christ, show that seasonality is eliminated by reactive leadership that lacks a long-term vision, minimal spiritual training, and a weak ministerial cadre system. As a solution, this article offers a sustainable leadership model that emphasizes a year-round discipleship vision, ministerial training and regeneration, systematic ministry evaluation, and the spiritual example of leaders. This model is believed to help churches experience stable growth, establish a consistent ministry rhythm, and present relevant evidence to the world. Thus, sustainable leadership is a strategic and theological approach to addressing seasonal ministry and strengthening the mission of the church today.

Literacy skills in elementary schools play a crucial role in supporting students’ academic development and overall learning success. However, observations conducted at SDN 2 Demulih revealed that many students still experience difficulties in comprehending reading materials and retelling stories coherently and systematically. This study aims to enhance students’ literacy and language skills through the implementation of the retelling technique as an instructional strategy. A descriptive research approach employing the ADDIE development model was applied, consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The program involved 21 students from grades IV–VI and utilized two audiovisual story media, namely “Independence” and “Bawang dan Kesuna.” The results indicate that the application of the retelling technique based on audiovisual media effectively improved students’ reading comprehension, learning activeness, and self-confidence in speaking activities. Students were able to reconstruct storylines accurately and express moral messages using their own words. Therefore, the retelling technique is proven to be an engaging, practical, and effective literacy learning strategy for elementary school students.

Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2025 concerning State Expenditure Efficiency gave rise to a fiscal paradox at the beginning of the new administration, with a cut of Rp306.69 trillion facing a 17.9% APBN deficit for flagship programs such as Free Nutritious Meals, which triggered doubts about public trust, especially students at the University of Jambi affected by the BOPTN adjustment. This study analyzes the influence of student perceptions on the dimensions of effective-efficient (X1) and transparent-accountable (X2) policies on public trust (Y) as an indicator of government legitimacy. A quantitative survey approach was applied to 400 active students at the University of Jambi (proportional random sampling using the Slovin e=0.05 formula), with SPSS multiple linear regression analysis after classical assumption testing, validity (r> r-table), and reliability (Alpha Cronbach's 0.920 (x1); 0.949 (x2); 0.918 (y)). The results show a significant simultaneous effect (F=200.951; sig=0.000), partial X1 is dominant (t=7.116; β=0.162; sig=0.000) and X2 is significant (t=5.532; β=0.110; sig=0.000), with R²=0.503 explaining 50.3% of the variation in trust. The findings confirm the theory of Easton (1965) and Weber (1947) that efficiency performance evaluation shapes trust, so it is recommended that a real-time APBN dashboard, transparent communication to regional PTNs, and fiscal literacy strengthen the legitimacy of good governance.

Arabic holds an important position in Islamic education as the language of the Qur'an and Hadith. However, the teaching of Arabic in Islamic educational institutions often focuses only on linguistic aspects, thus not fully achieving the goals of comprehensive Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the strengthening of Arabic language education objectives from the perspective of Islamic Tarbiyah. The method used in this study is qualitative, with a literature study and descriptive analysis approach. The analysis was conducted on relevant sources. The findings indicate that Arabic education within the framework of Islamic Tarbiyah not only emphasizes mastery of language skills but also the importance of shaping students' faith, morals, and Islamic character. The integration of tarbawi values into the objectives, materials, methods, and evaluation of learning becomes a key element in creating Arabic language education that is valuable and aligned with the goals of Islamic education. Its implications are expected to serve as a reference for curriculum development, teacher competence improvement, as well as the formulation of contextual, integrative, and sustainable Arabic language learning policies in national Islamic educational institutions.

This community service activity aims to increase awareness and independence of elementary school students in maintaining hand hygiene through education on proper handwashing. The background to this activity stems from the low level of handwashing habits among school-age children, despite hand hygiene being a simple action that has a significant impact on preventing infectious diseases. Based on initial observations at Tamanbali 3 Public Elementary School, most students did not yet have the habit of washing their hands before eating or after playing, despite the availability of facilities. Therefore, a hand hygiene education program was implemented, designed to help students understand the importance of proper handwashing according to WHO guidelines. The activity methods included outreach through educational posters and videos, demonstrations of the seven steps of handwashing, mentoring in daily habits, and evaluation of behavioral changes. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in students' hand hygiene behavior. Students began washing their hands independently before eating and after activities without being reminded by teachers. The school environment also became cleaner and healthier due to the growing awareness of personal hygiene among students. Teachers and the school are committed to continuing this habit as part of the daily classroom routine. This activity demonstrates that hand hygiene education delivered through interactive methods can shape character and hygiene habits from an early age.

Mosque-based community economic empowerment activities have significant potential to improve community welfare, particularly for small businesses in the mosque's immediate vicinity. However, implementation is still largely conventional and lacks a data-driven approach, resulting in suboptimal beneficiary identification and activity evaluation. This community service initiative aims to promote a data-driven approach to mosque-based community economic empowerment through sharia bazaar activities. Implementation methods include initial observation, outreach and education for mosque managers and business owners, technical assistance for sharia entrepreneurship, and activity evaluation. The results demonstrate an increased public understanding of the importance of data use in determining beneficiaries, managing bazaar activities, and developing businesses based on sharia economic principles. The outcomes of this initiative include improved data management literacy, a simple data collection format for sharia bazaar activities, and recommendations for developing a mosque-based data collection system. It is hoped that this initiative will be the first step in building a sustainable, transparent, and data-driven community economic empowerment model within the mosque environment.

This study focuses on the analysis of traffic density in Jember City, particularly at the Wirolegi Intersection, which is known to have a high density level. This condition often triggers congestion that hinders public mobility, so that appropriate and data-based handling efforts are needed. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the level of density at critical congestion points through a statistical approach using the One Way ANOVA method. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a descriptive observational approach. Primary data was collected directly through a field survey in 2025 at the Wirolegi Intersection as one of 3 intersections in Jember City. The data obtained were then processed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and One Way ANOVA with the help of SPSS software. The results of the analysis show that the traffic flow density on the three routes studied, namely Jalan Gunung Haryono, Jalan Brigjen Katamso, Jalan Yos Sudarso, does not show a significant difference. The significance value of the ANOVA test is greater than 0.05 which indicates the similarity of density levels between routes. Further testing (post hoc testing) also strengthens this finding. The conclusion of this study shows that handling congestion at the Wirolegi Intersection needs to be done comprehensively through traffic control and evaluation of the transportation system to improve smoothness and mobility in Jember City.

The evaluation of Indonesian language instruction at the junior secondary level remains predominantly oriented toward lower-order thinking skills, thereby constraining the advancement of students’Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This situation necessitates the development of comprehensive assessment tools that are coherently aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. The present study introduces a model for constructing HOTS-oriented assessment instruments targeting procedural text writing in Phase D. The development process was systematically organized through several stages: translating learning outcomes into measurable indicators, preparing assessment blueprints, creating item cards, formulating scoring rubrics for attitudes, knowledge, and skills, and finally analyzing and interpreting the assessment data. These instruments were specifically designed to capture students’ analytical, evaluative, and creative abilities in producing procedural texts that are logical, coherent, and effective. Findings demonstrate that the instruments provide an objective and holistic representation of students’ competency attainment. In summary, the proposed HOTS-based assessment model for procedural text writing is practical, methodical, and contextually relevant, serving as a valuable framework for evaluating Indonesian language learning in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum principles.
