Sexual harassment against children in Islamic boarding schools is a serious issue that demands special attention, particularly in the context of legal protection for victims. This study aims to analyze the position and role of child victims in the dynamics of sexual harassment crimes within pesantren, as well as to identify forms of legal protection that can be provided through a victimological approach. One of the cases highlighted in this research occurred at Bani Ma’mun Islamic Boarding School, located in Gembor Udik Village, Cikande Sub-district, Serang Regency, which illustrates the weak protection afforded to children in religious educational environments. By employing an empirical juridical method and referring to secondary data such as legislation, legal documents, and academic literature, this study finds that child victims often do not receive optimal protection, either in the criminal justice process or in terms of psychosocial support. The victimological perspective emphasizes the importance of fulfilling victims' rights, including the right to security, physical and mental rehabilitation, and social reintegration. In this context, protection efforts should not only focus on imposing sanctions on perpetrators but also include the formulation of policies oriented toward the recovery of victims. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening institutional capacity within pesantren to develop and implement comprehensive child protection mechanisms, including regulatory reform and more responsive law enforcement toward victims of sexual crimes. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a legal framework that is more victim-oriented within Indonesia’s criminal justice system.

Resolving Islamic legal issues can be done through a legal and diplomatic approach. The legal approach refers to the formal legal system, such as religious courts and religious scholars' fatwas, which prioritize legal certainty based on the sources of Islamic law, namely the Qur'an, Sunnah, Ijma', and Qiyas. Meanwhile, the diplomatic approach emphasizes more on deliberation, mediation, and negotiation in order to achieve a peaceful solution that remains based on the principles of Islamic law. The combination of these two approaches can create a resolution mechanism that is more effective, fair, and in accordance with the needs of the Muslim community. The research method applied in writing this journal is a qualitative research method with a descriptive-analytical approach. This study describes how the resolution of Islamic law is carried out legally and diplomatically and analyzes the effectiveness of each method in practice. Research data were collected through a literature study of Islamic legal sources, religious court regulations, and cases of Islamic legal settlement. The results of the study indicate that the legal approach is more effective in providing legal certainty and protection of individual rights, while the diplomatic approach is more flexible in maintaining social harmony and avoiding prolonged conflict. Therefore, integration between these two approaches is very necessary in resolving Islamic legal issues more comprehensively and fairly.

Tolerance is one of the core character values that is crucial to instill from an early age, especially in multicultural societies like Indonesia. However, early childhood education (ECE) still tends to focus on cognitive and motoric aspects, while the integration of social values such as tolerance has not yet received adequate attention in the curriculum. This study aims to explore the potential of local wisdom-infused dance movements as an educational medium for instilling tolerance values in young children. The research employs a systematic literature review approach, analyzing previous studies relevant to three main variables: dance movements, local wisdom, and tolerance values in early childhood. The findings reveal that dance movements are not only beneficial for physical and aesthetic development but also serve as an effective expressive medium for fostering empathy, cooperation, and acceptance of differences. Integrating local wisdom values into dance activities can strengthen children's cultural identity and cultivate awareness of cultural diversity from an early age. Furthermore, emotional engagement and hands-on experiences in artistic activities have proven more effective in character building compared to conventional approaches. This study offers theoretical and practical contributions by formulating a local dance-based learning model explicitly aimed at reinforcing tolerance attitudes. The implications of these findings provide new directions for developing more contextual and culturally rooted ECE curricula, as well as enriching character education strategies that are engaging and meaningful for children. Thus, dance movements serve as a vital bridge in nurturing an inclusive, open-minded, and diversity-ready young generation.

Registration counter services as the main gateway for patient interaction with hospitals play a crucial role in shaping public perception of the quality of health services. However, Kaimana Hospital faces challenges such as long queues, limited physical facilities, and reliance on coordination between units, which have the potential to reduce patient satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the gap between patients' expectations and perceptions of the quality of registration counter services using the SERVQUAL model, focusing on five dimensions: Reliability, Assurance, Tangibles, Empathy, and Responsiveness (responsiveness). The qualitative-descriptive method is applied through direct observation during the workday, semi-structured interviews and analysis of secondary documents. The results of the study showed that officers were considered competent in providing Assurance information  and showed spontaneous empathy for the Empathy vulnerable group. However, the Reliability  dimension is hampered by long queues and reliance on the availability of medical personnel, while Tangibles is limited to physical facilities that are less adaptive during visitor density. Responsiveness is also influenced by fluctuations in the number of patients and coordination between units that are not optimal. The main gap lies in the absence of a digital queuing system, structured inclusive protocols, and standardization of officer competencies. Strategic recommendations include certification-based HR training, integration of digital queue technology, infrastructure optimization, and strengthening operational coordination. This research emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to create an inclusive, efficient, and sustainable service ecosystem, as well as a reference for regional hospitals in improving the quality of services based on the SERVQUAL model.
