This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the sorogan and bandongan methods in Islamic boarding school (pesantren) learning through the perspective of educational psychology. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach based on library research, this study explores the relevance of these traditional teaching methods to behaviorist, cognitivist, and constructivist learning theories. The findings reveal that the sorogan method, which emphasizes personal interaction between students (santri) and teachers (kiai), plays a crucial role in improving reading accuracy, learning discipline, independence, and metacognitive abilities. Meanwhile, the bandongan method, which is conducted collectively, proves effective in strengthening conceptual understanding, fostering social learning, and internalizing moral and spiritual values within a communal context. The integration of these two methods represents a synergy between the intellectual tradition of pesantren and the principles of modern educational psychology that emphasize affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects. The results indicate that the combined application of sorogan and bandongan can support the development of an adaptive pesantren curriculum aligned with the demands of 21st-century education while maintaining the Islamic scholarly tradition that serves as the foundation for character formation and personal development.

The implementation of environmental management is an important aspect in shaping ecological behavior within educational settings. Law No. 32 of 2009 emphasizes the responsibility of individuals and institutions to preserve the environment, in line with the principles of Fiqh Al-Bi’ah in Islam. Al-Fajr Dormitory of Ma’had Al-Zaytun serves as an example of this application through the daily activities of its students. This study aims to describe the implementation of environmental management at Al-Fajr Dormitory based on Articles 67–68 of Law No. 32 of 2009 and the Fiqh Al-Bi’ah perspective. Using a descriptive qualitative method through observation, interviews, and documentation, data were obtained from dormitory administrators, students, and relevant literature. The results show that environmental management is carried out through routine activities such as cleaning duties, waste management, facility maintenance, and the prudent use of resources. From the perspective of Fiqh Al-Bi’ah, these practices reflect the values of stewardship (khalifah), trust (amanah), and balance (mīzān). The synergy between state regulations and Islamic principles fosters disciplined, responsible students with strong ecological awareness as part of sustainable environmental development.

This research examines the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in supporting the economic empowerment of fishing communities in Tanjungpinang. The study is motivated by the persistence of economic vulnerability among fishermen despite the availability of marine resources and ongoing CSR initiatives. Using a qualitative approach with library research methods, this study analyzes academic literature, government documents, and CSR program reports to understand how CSR has been implemented and its implications for community empowerment. The findings show that CSR programs in coastal areas generally remain charitable in nature, focusing on the provision of temporary assistance rather than strengthening the capacity and autonomy of fishermen. As a result, the programs have not significantly contributed to sustainable economic resilience. This study argues that CSR needs to be reoriented toward participatory empowerment, capacity building, and alignment with sustainable development and blue economy principles to support long-term welfare. The study also suggests the importance of further empirical research to validate implementation outcomes.

The growing demand for integrated Islamic schools to deliver high-quality education that emphasizes both academic excellence and character development has encouraged the adoption of Total Quality Management (TQM) as a modern and relevant management approach. TQM is considered appropriate because it highlights continuous improvement, active involvement of all school members, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction within the educational context. This study aims to analyze the implementation of TQM in improving school quality at three integrated Islamic junior high schools: SMP IT Al-Khoiriyyah, SMP IT Nurul Islam, and SMP IT Baitul Anshor. The research employed a qualitative method using a multi-case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis involving principals, vice principals, teachers, educational staff, students, and parents. Data analysis followed the stages of reduction, presentation, and inductive conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that TQM implementation in all three schools followed four main stages: planning, organizing, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. During planning, TQM principles were embedded in School Work Plans, the PDCA cycle was applied, and stakeholders were actively involved. Organizing focused on quality-based structures, clear task distribution, and teamwork. Implementation included quality-oriented learning, teacher development, extracurricular activities, and integrated Islamic programs, while monitoring involved supervision, internal audits, evaluation meetings, and feedback systems. Supporting factors included visionary leadership, Islamic work culture, and parental support, while challenges involved limited facilities, uneven teacher competencies, and heavy workloads.

Parenting plays a crucial role in shaping a child's personality and religious values from an early age. This study aims to examine the concept of parenting from an Islamic perspective, particularly according to the views of Imam Al-Ghazali, a prominent Islamic scholar and thinker. The method used was a literature review with a descriptive analytical and historical approach. The results show that Islamic parenting, according to Al-Ghazali, is based on the principles of monotheism, faith, and noble morals derived from the Quran and Sunnah. Al-Ghazali viewed children as a trust from Allah, born in a state of fitrah (purity) and as potential beings who are the hope of the community. Educating children must be done from an early age because childhood is a golden period that is very decisive in character formation. The parenting methods recommended by Al-Ghazali include: (1) the habituation method to shape character through continuous practice; (2) the role model method, where parents serve as direct role models for children; (3) the storytelling method to instill moral values; (4) the advice method with a compassionate approach; and (5) reward and punishment methods applied wisely. Al Ghazali's parenting concept emphasizes the importance of parents' role in creating a conducive environment for children's spiritual, moral, and social development, which not only impacts worldly life but also the afterlife. This research contributes to the idea of the urgency of implementing Islamic teachings in educating and raising children in the digital era, which is full of various challenges.

The digital era has significantly transformed human interaction, presenting complex opportunities and challenges. Trust is a crucial pillar in building healthy and productive interactions in the digital world. However, this trust is threatened by various factors, including cybercrime, the spread of misinformation, and increasingly invasive surveillance technology. In this context, the Islamic perspective offers a comprehensive ethical framework for building trust in the digital age. This research aims to explore how Islamic principles can be applied to build trust in the digital world. The study will identify Islamic principles relevant to building trust, develop a cyber regulation framework based on Islamic values, and formulate strategies to address the challenges of surveillance technology while considering Islamic ethics and values. A normative legal approach will be employed, focusing on regulatory studies, analysis of primary and secondary Islamic legal sources, and a comparative study of cyber regulations in Muslim-majority countries. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to formulating effective, ethical, and equitable cyber regulations, as well as addressing the challenges of surveillance technology in the digital age.

Bullying is one of the most common forms of violence still occurring in schools, causing serious impacts on students’ psychological conditions and social development. Various efforts have been made to reduce bullying cases, yet communicative campaign media that match the characteristics of the digital generation remain limited. This study aims to develop educational media based on interactive motion graphics designed with Visual Communication Design principles to support anti-bullying digital campaigns in schools. The research stages include designing the main characters using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, separating body parts in vector format for easier animation, importing the files into Adobe Character Animator, and synchronizing movements, facial expressions, and voices through dubbing processes. The final product is an interactive animation entitled “Berani Bicara, Berani Membela” (Dare to Speak, Dare to Defend), which features three main scenes: bullying in a school corridor, peer support in the classroom, and reporting the case to the guidance counselor. The findings indicate that this media provides a more engaging and interactive learning experience while effectively delivering moral messages. The animation not only emphasizes the importance of victims’ courage to report bullying but also highlights peer support and the school’s role in providing protection. Therefore, interactive motion graphics can serve as an alternative digital campaign strategy that is relevant, easily accepted by young generations, and has the potential to foster safe, inclusive, and friendly school environments for all students.

The advancement of information technology has profoundly transformed the criminal justice system, particularly in judicial proceedings that now utilize digital platforms such as e-court and e-litigation. Although judicial digitalization aims to enhance efficiency and transparency, it simultaneously raises critical concerns regarding judicial independence in the exercise of adjudicative authority. This study employs a normative juridical approach to examine how digital transformation affects the principle of judicial independence and to reconstruct its concept in accordance with the rule of law. The analysis is based on statutory regulations, legal doctrines, and principles governing judicial power. The findings indicate that the integration of technology into judicial processes may create administrative and technological dependencies that potentially undermine the autonomy of judges in deciding criminal cases. Therefore, a redefinition of judicial independence is necessary—one that extends beyond institutional guarantees to include ethical and personal integrity aspects through the reinforcement of judicial accountability and technological transparency. This study recommends the formulation of ethical standards and technical regulations that explicitly limit administrative or external interference with judges in the digital judicial environment, thereby maintaining a balance between technological efficiency and substantive justice.

Sexual violence against children is a highly complex issue with profound negative impacts on both the victims and their social environment. Children with disabilities, particularly those with Down Syndrome, are among the most vulnerable to such abuse due to their physical and cognitive limitations. Given this context, the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as the Child Protection Agency (LPA) becomes crucial. LPA plays a vital role in providing support, advocacy, and assistance to child victims of sexual violence, especially those with disabilities. This study aims to examine the protective role of LPA in assisting children with Down Syndrome who have become victims of sexual violence in Deli Serdang Regency. Using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the research explores and interprets the lived experiences of informants involved in the cases. The study also highlights the implementation of the four child protection principles as applied by the LPA. The findings show that LPA fulfills its protective role by providing legal assistance, psychosocial support, and ensuring the safety of the victims. The organization successfully implemented the four child protection principles, resulting in a 12-year prison sentence for the perpetrator and justice for the victim. The study recommends increasing LPA staff capacity to enhance the quality of services provided.

Divorce has become an increasingly prevalent moral and social phenomenon within modern society, including among Christian communities, with profound implications for family structures, spiritual life, and the church’s testimony in the world. This study analyzes divorce from the perspective of Christian ethics, grounded in a theological and moral reflection on Matthew 19:1–12 as the biblical foundation for understanding marriage and faithfulness. The findings reveal that divorce is not merely a legal or social concern but represents a spiritual crisis and a failure to uphold the sacred covenant established by God. Contributing factors such as infidelity, domestic violence, economic pressure, and weak faith formation erode the moral values of love and fidelity. Christian ethics emphasizes love, forgiveness, and moral responsibility as fundamental principles for healing and reconciliation within broken relationships. The church is called to exercise pastoral responsibility through guidance, counseling, and restoration, fostering ethical awareness and marital integrity among believers. Thus, applying Christian ethics to the issue of divorce is essential for nurturing spiritual maturity, strengthening family unity, and preserving the moral witness of the Christian community.

This study examines the crucial role of political ethics in anti-corruption efforts in Indonesia, focusing on Pancasila as the moral and philosophical foundation (Nasoha et al., 2024; Atqiya & Nasoha, 2024). Through a qualitative literature review, the research reveals that weaknesses in political ethics significantly contribute to corrupt practices among elites and state institutions. The study highlights that corruption often stems from a lack of adherence to ethical standards within the political system. Therefore, strengthening political ethics is essential to preventing corruption. The principles of justice, accountability, and public responsibility are critical to this effort, ensuring that government actions align with ethical values. Pancasila’s core values, especially social justice and gotong royong (mutual cooperation), provide a solid moral framework for fostering a transparent, fair, and integrated government system. By embedding these values into political practice, Indonesia can strengthen its anti-corruption efforts, improve public trust, and promote a more just and accountable political environment.

This study highlights the significant role of students at SMA Tahfidz Khairunnas Surabaya in promoting the values of moderate Islam within the urban metropolitan context of Surabaya. The findings demonstrate that the implementation of moderate Islamic education is reflected in four core principles: At-Tawazun (balance), At-Tawasuth (moderation), At-Tasamuh (tolerance), and Al-Adl (justice). These values are supported by the family, school, and community environment, which collectively contribute to shaping students’ understanding and practice of moderation. The results further suggest that fostering moderate Islamic values in metropolitan society requires both maturity and contextual comprehension, enabling communities to internalize and apply these principles effectively. The involvement of students in disseminating moderate values represents an essential step toward strengthening critical thinking, moral integrity, and social ethics in accordance with Islamic moderation. Therefore, the educational practices at SMA Tahfidz Khairunnas not only contribute to individual student development but also serve as a catalyst for cultivating a more harmonious, tolerant, and balanced urban society.

Human mobility between countries has become an inevitable phenomenon in an increasingly open era of globalization. One of the tangible consequences of this mobility is the increasing number of mixed marriages between Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals. Although mixed marriages are a great way to interact across the globe, they often cause difficult legal problems, especially regarding the citizenship status of children born from these marriages. Children may be at risk of statelessness, or without citizenship, if the legal systems and principles between countries differ. This contradicts the principle of protection of human rights in international law. The purpose of this study is to examine the regulation of citizenship for children born to mixed marriages from an international law perspective. In addition, this study also investigates its relationship with Indonesian national law, particularly Law No. 12 of 2006 concerning Citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia and other related legal instruments. To gain a better understanding of the compatibility between national legal practices and international standards, a legislative, case, and comparative approach was used in this study. The results of the study show that, although Indonesia has adopted several principles of international law to prevent loss of citizenship and grant limited dual citizenship recognition to children born of mixed marriages, there is still a gap between the normative and its implementation. This discrepancy can lead to legal uncertainty and reduce the protection of children's rights. In conclusion, this study emphasizes that national and international law in the field of citizenship must be harmonized to build a legal system that is responsive, fair, and in line with global societal progress, as well as to protect children's rights at the international level.

This study aims to examine various factors that influence customers' engagement in choosing the Cicil Emas product as a form of long-term investment at Bank Muamalat Purwokerto. This research is based on the increasing trend of gold investment in the community caused by the increase in gold prices and awareness of the importance of halal investment according to sharia principles. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation of Bank Muamalat Purwokerto. The results show that customer interest is influenced by several main factors, namely trust in sharia principles through the murabahah contract, a positive perception of gold as a stable investment asset, the ease of installment procedures that are flat and transparent, and the efficiency of the payment system through autodebit. In addition, social factors such as family recommendations and active promotions from the marketing department also strengthen customer interest. From the SWOT analysis, it was found that the main strength of this product lies in Bank Muamalat's reputation as a pioneering sharia bank and a stable installment system, while its main weaknesses are limited physical gold stocks and low public investment literacy. With increasing public awareness of sharia investment and the large market potential in Purwokerto, the Cicil Emas product has strong prospects for continued growth as a safe and Islamically-compliant long-term investment instrument.

This community service program was held at SD Negeri 102028 Dusun II Sei Parit, Sei Rampah District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, with a focus on applying the principles of sharia economic justice. This goal is achieved through education about the prohibition of usury and savings initiatives from an early age. This activity was motivated by the lack of Islamic financial literacy among children, especially related to the risk of usury and the urgency of frugal behavior and financial responsibility. The method chosen is a participatory-educational approach, which includes socialization, simulation and habituation, prioritizing the active involvement of students. The activity is divided into two main phases, namely usury education and saving education, utilizing animated films, educational games and picture stories. The impact of this service shows an increase in students' insight into the concept of riba, discipline in frugality, and the growth of awareness to manage money wisely according to Islamic guidance. Children are now beginning to understand that money is a mandate that must be used correctly and halal. In addition, this program also encourages the formation of the character of responsibility, trust and justice in the participants. Therefore, this program makes a significant contribution in building a children's mentality based on the principles of sharia economic justice and is worthy of being used as a prototype of Islamic financial education at the elementary school level.

This research discusses the Constitutional Court Decision Number 90/PUU-XXI/2023 regarding the minimum age requirement for presidential and vice-presidential candidates as stipulated in Article 169 letter q of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections. In that decision, the Constitutional Court ruled that the age limit of 40 years remains in effect, but with an exception for candidates who are not yet 40 years old but have previously or are currently serving as regional heads. This research employs a normative juridical method with legislative and conceptual approaches, analyzing primary legal materials such as the 1945 Constitution, Election Law, and Constitutional Court decisions, supported by secondary legal materials from academic literature and journals. The research findings indicate that the Constitutional Court's considerations are based on the principles of citizens' constitutional rights, open legal policy, and the idea of leadership experience as an alternative age requirement. This decision has positive implications, including opportunities for leadership regeneration and increased political participation by young people, but it also draws criticism for its potential to discriminate against non-regional leaders and create political suspicion. Therefore, a revision of the Election Law is needed to clarify the legal norms resulting from the Constitutional Court's decision so that it does not lead to multiple interpretations and maintains the principle of equality. This research concludes that the Constitutional Court's decision is an opportunity to strengthen democracy, but also a challenge in ensuring constitutional justice in Indonesia.

The franchise business model has experienced rapid growth in Indonesia, particularly in the food, beverage, and modern retail sectors, such as Indomaret. The franchise system provides efficient business expansion opportunities for franchisors and franchisees to participate in businesses that already have established operational standards and market reputations. However, behind this development, significant legal challenges have emerged, particularly related to the unequal position between franchisors and franchisees in franchise agreements. This study aims to analyze the forms of legal protection for franchisees by reviewing the principles of fairness, balance, and legal certainty in the implementation of franchise contracts. The approach used is a normative juridical method with a case study of the Indomaret franchise partnership, which is examined through an analysis of related laws and regulations, such as Government Regulation Number 42 of 2007 concerning Franchising and Regulation of the Minister of Trade Number 71 of 2019. The results of the study indicate that there is still asymmetry of power in contract drafting, weak legal literacy of franchisees, and a lack of government oversight of agreement implementation. Therefore, regulatory reform and strengthening of oversight mechanisms are needed to ensure that franchise relationships operate fairly, transparently, and sustainably

A contract is an agreement between two or more parties that creates legal rights and obligations to perform or refrain from performing certain actions. In business practice, a contract serves as a legal instrument that ensures certainty, fairness, and protection for all parties involved. To regulate these legal relationships, a comprehensive understanding of contract law is required as the juridical foundation for drafting and executing agreements. A valid contract must not only fulfill formal and material requirements as stipulated in the Civil Code but also be based on several fundamental legal principles, including the principle of freedom of contract, consensualism, pacta sunt servanda, good faith, and personality. Moreover, the contract formation process consists of several stages: the pre-drafting stage, the drafting stage which involves the structure and anatomy of the contract, and the post-drafting stage which focuses on the implementation and evaluation of the agreement. In its execution, disputes may arise; therefore, appropriate dispute resolution mechanisms such as negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation are essential. A comprehensive understanding of these principles and stages in business contract formation is crucial to ensure that every agreement created is valid, fair, and effective for all parties.
