A sump is a water reservoir that functions to accommodate runoff water in the pit before the water is pumped. This study was conducted to determine the location plan and sump capacity based on the direction of mine progress and the actual estimation of runoff discharge that enters the pit at PT. Wahyu Murti Garuda Kencana, Central Kalimantan. There is a water problem that interferes with production activities because the actual sump dimensions are insufficient to accommodate the daily discharge of water that enters the sump. So that the impact on the mining front is flooded or there is waterlogging that disrupts mining activities. The progress of the mine is directed towards the north of the sump so that the distance and dimensions of the actual sump are ineffective and unable to accommodate the incoming water discharge in accordance with the direction of the mine progress due to the mining location in the pit which is easily submerged by water. The drainage condition at PT. Wahyu Murti Garuda Kencana uses the mine dewatering method which is a method of removing water that flows into the mining sump using a pump. Theoretically, by conducting direct research on the sump area of PT. Wahyu Murti Garuda Kencana, the actual sump dimensions are insufficient to accommodate the water discharge that enters the pit. The design carried out pays attention to the mining plan so that the sump design to be designed can be applied in the field in accordance with the mine design. The shape of the sump designed is a trapezoidal shape with dimensions of 80 m x 70 m cross-section, 74 m x 64 m bottom section, depth of 4 m and 55 degree tilt angle and a total sump volume capacity of 20,672 m3.

Study Interest State Administrative Law, Implementation of Business Licensing for Laundry Services Activities in Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency, under the guidance of Dr. Siti Kotijah S.H., M.H and Agustina Wati S.H., M.H. Business licensing is an important aspect in the implementation of business activities, including laundry service businesses that are increasingly growing in urban communities. Laundry businesses require official permits from the local government as a form of compliance with regulations governing economic activities and environmental protection. With licensing, the government can supervise business activities and ensure that business actors comply with operational standards, including in the management of domestic waste generated from the washing process. Laundry business licensing is also an instrument to ensure consumer safety and comfort. Business permits include technical and administrative requirements, such as location permits, environmental permits (UKL-UPL/SPPL), and operational permits from related agencies such as the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP). Without complete permits, business actors can be subject to administrative sanctions to criminal penalties, as regulated in various laws and regulations such as Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management. Research on laundry business permits is important to provide a comprehensive picture of the processes, obstacles, and legal and environmental implications that may arise if business actors do not comply with applicable licensing provisions. Social legal research, with field studies at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office of West Kutai Regency, Barong Tongkok District and Laundry businesses in Barong Tongkok, West Kutai. Laundry businesses that have permits are 7, while there are still many laundry businesses that do not have laundry business permits. Business actors do not have business permits, because the reason is that their business is small, and the permit process is very difficult, and business actors avoid paying local taxes.

Tomato crop yields face significant threats from plant diseases, with existing deep learning solutions often computationally prohibitive for resource-constrained agricultural settings; to address this gap, we propose Efficient Disease Attention Network (EDANet), a novel lightweight architecture combining depthwise separable convolutions with hybrid attention mechanisms for efficient Tomato disease recognition. Our approach integrates channel and spatial attention within hierarchical blocks to prioritize symptomatic regions while utilizing depthwise decomposition to reduce parameters to only 104,043 (multiple times smaller than MobileNet and EfficientNet). Evaluated on ten tomato disease classes from PlantVillage, EDANet achieves 97.32% accuracy and exceptional (~1.00) micro-AUC, with perfect recognition of Mosaic virus (100% F1-score) and robust performance on challenging cases like Early blight (93.2% F1) and Target Spot (93.6% F1). The architecture processes 128×128 RGB images in ~23ms on standard CPUs, enabling real-time field diagnostics without GPU dependencies. This work bridges laboratory AI and practical farm deployment by optimizing the accuracy-efficiency tradeoff, providing farmers with an accessible tool for early disease intervention in resource-limited environments.

The development of wearable technology, especially smartwatches, opens up great opportunities in preventive health monitoring, especially in rural areas such as Sembung Village, Wringinanom, Gresik, where access to health services is limited. However, this technology is still alien to the local community. Preliminary surveys show that the majority of citizens, including health cadres, have never used or even seen a smartwatch in person, and view it as a luxury and irrelevant item. In fact, the potential of smartwatches as “digital health assistants” is huge from tracking heart rate, blood oxygen levels (SpO₂), stress levels, to physical activity reminders that are essential for early detection of health disorders. This service activity aims to improve digital literacy and adoption of smartwatch technology through a participatory educational approach and direct assistance. Implementation methods include: (1) coordination with the village government and health workers, (2) Interactive socialization using local languages, (3) step-by-step practical training, (4) simulation of application in the field, and (5) pre-test and post-test evaluation of 27 participants (25 health cadres, 1 midwife, 1 nurse). The results showed significant improvements: function understanding from the original value of 1.8 increased to 4.2, consumption interest from the original value of 2.1 increased to 4.0, benefit perception from the original value of 1.9 increased to 4.3, self confidence from the original value of 1.5 increased to 3.8, and digital literacy awareness from the original value of 2.0 increased to 4.1. The hands-on approach proved effective in changing participants ' mindset from skeptical to enthusiastic, proving that the digital divide is not due to incompetence, but the lack of access to contextual education. The implication is that smartwatch has the potential to become a strategic tool for village health cadres in early detection and real-time data-based health education, provided that it is supported by sustainable mentoring.

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in fostering good morals in students, enabling them to develop Islamic character and face the challenges of the times with strong spiritual values. However, the implementation of PAI teaching in the field often still prioritizes traditional lecture methods, which lead to less student participation, boredom, and less than satisfactory learning outcomes. This small study aims to explore the PAI learning models and strategies implemented by teachers at the Al-Hidayah Foundation, the challenges they face, and their impact on students. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method through in-depth interviews with PAI teachers. The results revealed that teachers have begun to integrate lecture methods with more innovative learning strategies such as contextual, cooperative, and technology-based, although their implementation has not always been consistent. The main challenges faced include limited infrastructure, a lack of professional training for teachers, and low learning motivation among some students. The visible impact is increased student engagement in the learning process when innovative strategies are implemented, although their effectiveness still needs to be strengthened with support from the institution and parents. Therefore, the Islamic Religious Education teachers at the Al-Hidayah Foundation not only function as teachers, but also as motivators and facilitators in the learning process to ensure that the goals of Islamic education can be achieved properly.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is a preliminary agreement in contracts established under the Common Law system, and this research is based on the increasing phenomenon of using MoUs as an initial form of agreement in various fields, including the organization of beauty pageants; however, in practice, there remains ambiguity regarding the extent to which an MoU has binding legal force, particularly when one party commits a breach of contract or when disputes arise, thus this study formulates two main issues, namely the legal status of the parties involved in the MoU of the Miss Beauty East Java 2022 pageant agreement and the legal consequences of the non-performance of such MoU, employing a normative juridical method through statute, conceptual, and case approaches to analyze the practice of MoUs in Miss Beauty East Java 2022, and the findings indicate that although MoUs are not explicitly regulated in the Indonesian Civil Code, they may be considered preliminary agreements subject to the principle of freedom of contract under Article 1338 of the Civil Code, with the legal status of the parties being binding as long as the MoU fulfills the essential elements of a valid contract (agreement, legal capacity, specific object, and lawful cause), while the legal consequences of non performance may give rise to legal liability resolved through non-litigation efforts such as mediation or arbitration, or ultimately through litigation if amicable settlement fails, leading to the conclusion that the MoU in the Miss Beauty East Java 2022 pageant possesses binding legal force as a preliminary agreement rather than merely a moral commitment, provided that it is clearly drafted and meets the validity requirements of a contract under Indonesian law.

This study discusses the implications of applying Restorative Justice on legal certainty and the protection of victims' rights in cases involving repeat offenders who have committed serious assault in the jurisdiction of the Tapa Police Sector, Bone Bolango. Normatively, Indonesian Police Regulation No. 8 of 2021, Article 5(e), explicitly prohibits the application of Restorative Justice for offenders who have committed repeat criminal offenses based on court rulings. However, the research findings indicate that in practice, law enforcement officials often exercise discretion to facilitate peaceful resolutions even for repeat offenders, citing the need to maintain social relationships and avoid lengthy litigation processes. This approach raises legal certainty issues, as inconsistencies between written norms and field practices can reduce legal predictability, open the door to discrimination, and weaken both general and specific deterrent effects. From the perspective of victim protection, peaceful agreements in cases involving repeat offenders risk not fully reflecting substantive justice, as victims may be in a vulnerable position due to social pressure or unequal power dynamics. This study concludes that the application of Restorative Justice to repeat offenders needs to be strictly limited through more detailed regulations and effective oversight mechanisms, so that the principles of the rule of law, legal certainty, and victim protection are upheld. Thus, Restorative Justice can remain an important instrument in Indonesia's criminal justice system without compromising legal integrity and public safety.
