This study aims to explore in depth the impact of population density on the quality of life of residents in densely populated areas of Serang City, Banten Province. The background of this research is based on the phenomenon of increasing population numbers due to ongoing urbanization and migration, which directly affects the social, economic, and environmental pressures in urban areas. This research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with residents, community leaders, and local government officials, as well as field observations in areas with high population density. Secondary data were obtained from official documents such as reports from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and regional development planning documents. The results reveal that population density negatively affects access to basic services such as clean water, sanitation, education, and healthcare. Furthermore, it creates pressure on the living environment and reduces the comfort of residential spaces. Communities in high-density areas tend to face challenges in fulfilling basic needs adequately, which in turn impacts their overall well-being. This study highlights the importance of participatory and data-based urban planning, along with strong cross-sectoral coordination in providing social and environmental infrastructure. It is recommended that local governments develop adaptive policies in response to demographic dynamics to create livable, inclusive, and sustainable urban spaces. The findings of this research are expected to serve as a reference for future policy-making regarding the development of densely populated areas.

Political culture plays an important role in determining the dynamics of general elections, especially in the context of Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) in Indonesia. This research focuses on Ciwaringin Village in Ciwaringin District, Cirebon Regency, which shows low community political participation due to a parochial political culture. People in this village tend to be inactive in the election process, are influenced by the practice of money politics, and choose based on personal closeness and material lures, without understanding the vision and mission of potential leaders. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study and interview methods to explore the factors that influence political participation, including social, economic, and educational aspects and the use of information media. Findings show that low political literacy and indifference to political issues result in apathy toward elections. Therefore, educational efforts and increasing political awareness are needed to encourage active community participation in the democratic process. It is hoped that this research can contribute to understanding political culture and community participation in Ciwaringin village and promote improvements in implementing the upcoming regional elections.

The development of information technology has had a major impact on the personal data management system. In Indonesia, the enactment of Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection is a crucial step in guaranteeing individual privacy rights as part of human rights. This study aims to examine the form of legal accountability for personal data violations based on the provisions of the Law Number 27 of 2022. Religious gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation that uses religious authority and teachings to question or doubt a person's perceptions, emotions, and experiences, so that the victim feels guilty or unfaithful. In the context of the Muslim community, this practice can occur when religious understanding is used narrowly and authoritarianly, suppressing freedom of thought, and perpetuating power imbalances—both in family relationships, communities, and religious institutions. This article examines the phenomenon of religious gaslighting from the perspective of critical Islamic education, with the aim of dismantling manipulative patterns wrapped in religious narratives. The approach used is qualitative-descriptive with literature analysis of classical and contemporary Islamic sources, as well as interdisciplinary studies in the fields of religious psychology and educational philosophy. The results of the study show that religious gaslighting is not only a matter of individual morals, but also part of an authoritarian social and cultural structure that needs to be countered through liberating (ta'dib) and transformative Islamic education. Islamic education based on the values of justice (al-‘adl), compassion (rahmah), and deliberation can be a critical tool for building a healthy spiritual awareness and freeing people from the shackles of manipulative authority. Thus, education has a central role in forming a generation of Muslims who are able to distinguish between the authenticity of Islamic teachings and their misuse in the practice of power.

The rapid advancement of information technology has brought about new challenges for society, one of which is the widespread practice of online gambling. With unrestricted access across time and space, online gambling is easily accessible through mobile devices and the internet, making the public—especially those facing economic hardship, social influence, and easy access—highly vulnerable. Online gambling not only violates the law but also poses serious social and economic consequences, such as addiction, debt, family breakdowns, and a rise in criminal behavior. Through a Community Service (PkM) activity conducted by lecturers from the Faculty of Law, Sunan Bonang University, Tuban, in Panyuran Village, legal and social education regarding the dangers and sanctions of online gambling was provided. This activity used participatory and descriptive approaches through lectures and interactive discussions. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of the mechanisms, impacts, and legal consequences of online gambling, while also fostering awareness to avoid engaging in such illegal practices. Preventive efforts such as continuous education and family-based supervision are expected to serve as strategic measures to minimize the spread of online gambling within society.
