In Indonesia, the first sharia bank established in 1992 was Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI). Even though the development is a bit late when compared to other Muslim countries, sharia banking in Indonesia will continue to develop, if in the period 1992 - 1998 there was only one unit of Sharia Bank, then in 2005, the number of sharia banks in Indonesia had increased to 20 units. , namely 3 sharia commercial banks and 17 business units. Based on the data processing carried out in this research, the results were obtained for the variable Level of Understanding (X1) partially, namely with a significance level smaller than 0.05, namely with a significance level of 0.001, so it can be said that the variable Understanding has a significant influence on interest in using Islamic banks. Meanwhile, for the Trust variable (X2) partially, with a significance level smaller than 0.05, namely with a significance level of 0.040, it can be said that the trust variable influences interest in using Islamic banks. Furthermore, by using the F test to obtain a significance value of 0.001 which is smaller than 0.05, the regression model is usually used to predict that the level of understanding and trust together influence interest in using Islamic banks. The calculation of the coefficient of determination results in showing that all independent variables, namely Understanding (X1) Trust (X2) can explain the variable Interest in Using Sharia Banks (Y) by 20%, the remaining 80% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

This research focuses on using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm to model student satisfaction with campus services. The study finds that the quality of the dataset strongly influences the accuracy of the KNN classification results. Factors such as data cleanliness, balanced class distribution, and sufficient training data volume are highlighted as crucial for a successful model. The research also emphasizes the significance of proper feature selection in enhancing classification performance, suggesting that irrelevant features can introduce noise and decrease model accuracy. The model was evaluated using a dataset of 1032 data points and K=5, achieving an accuracy of 93.72%. While the model performed well for certain classes such as "Very Good" and "None", challenges were encountered in classifying the "Fair" and "Deficient" classes. The study concludes that KNN is effective in identifying student satisfaction patterns but highlights the need for improvements in accurately classifying these challenging classes. Ultimately, the research underscores the importance of data quality and feature selection in enhancing the performance of classification models for student satisfaction analysis.

This study aims to analyze the extent to which community participation influences the public policy-making process in Indonesia. The public policy-making process encompasses a series of actions and decisions that lead to the development and adoption of specific public policies. Community participation is a critical element in this process as it aids in shaping, defining, and implementing policies that directly affect the community. This research employs a qualitative methodology, gathering data through in-depth interviews, document studies, and participant observations of stakeholders directly involved in the public policy formulation process. The findings indicate that while community participation is granted a significant role in policy formulation, several barriers remain, such as a lack of information, limited technical capacity among community members, and other structural issues that impact the level and quality of participation. This study advocates for increased transparency and openness of information, training and capacity-building initiatives for communities, and enhanced participation in the policy formulation process. It contributes to the literature on the role and influence of community participation in public policy formulation, particularly in the Indonesian context.

This study seeks to examine the function of work engagement as a mediating variable in the correlation between job rotation and employee performance at the Bireuen Regency Regional Secretariat. Although some organizations adopt job rotation to improve skills and mitigate employee monotony, its effect on performance continues to be a subject of contention. We propose that work engagement, an indicator of employee interest and dedication to their tasks, greatly affects the correlation between job rotation and employee performance. This study method adopts a quantitative approach, employing a survey technique with 150 workers of the Bireuen Regency Regional Secretariat as participants. We employed a path analysis model to examine the direct and indirect impacts of job rotation on employee performance via work engagement. The study's findings suggest that job rotation exerts a beneficial albeit statistically inconsequential impact on employee performance. The incorporation of job engagement as a mediating variable demonstrates a favorable and substantial effect on employee performance. Moreover, job rotation via work engagement positively and significantly influences employee performance. The Bireuen Regency Regional Secretariat has demonstrated that work engagement serves as a mediator in the link between job rotation and employee performance. This study indicates that management ought to prioritize enhancing employee work engagement via initiatives that promote job participation and satisfaction, particularly with job rotation, to attain superior performance.
