The realization of learning that actively involves students is the hope of all parties, both the community and education practitioners. Increasing student activity is highly dependent on the teacher's ability to plan effective teaching and learning activities to achieve learning objectives. In the learning process at school, teachers need to encourage students to make optimal observations in order to obtain maximum learning outcomes. Therefore, teachers should provide students with the widest possible opportunity to observe in depth. The application of learning strategies with an activity-based approach in Islamic Religious Education subjects for grade V students of SDN 027 Labuhan Tangga Baru is expected to be able to increase motivation, achievement, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in learning.

DHF (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever) is a disease caused by the aedes virus. WHO states that 4,000 people worldwide have died from DHF, Banjar City in 2024 had 387 cases of DHF. Based on the results of community diagnosis using the ultrasound method, it has been determined that the priority health problem is DHF (Dengue Fever). Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, it was found that the determinant factor of the health problem is non-compliance with the 3M Plus PSN which includes: empty houses are not maintained with damp and dark conditions, the community does not understand and has not implemented the 3M Plus PSN at home, and the community only recognizes DHF prevention efforts limited to fogging. Therefore, we designed innovations through the LASKAR DBD program (Collaborative Strategic Steps for Dengue Fever) with the implementation of activities in the form of revitalizing the DBD center building as a place for socialization and counseling about dengue, fishization by giving guppy fish as larvae-eating fish, held a SAMBEL (Equal Learning) program, namely the installation of 3M Plus PSN stickers in each house as educational material as well as counseling activities for cadres and school children related to DHF, then held a BALADO program (Together Fighting Dengue with ovitrap) which is a modified SAMT ovitrap demonstration activity.

Indonesia is noted as one of the largest coffee-producing countries in the world in 2023. The plastic packaging waste from coffee shops is increasing, posing a potential threat to environmental sustainability, such as soil and water pollution. According to Bizhare Contributor in 2023, the Food and Beverage industry in Indonesia has already reduced plastic waste, but there are still plastic packaging, particularly for coffee beans, that cannot be replaced with environmentally friendly materials. From this, the problem of this research is "How is plastic pouch waste sorted in coffee shops and how is it processed to become selling goods?". This research aims to determine the sorting of coffee pouch plastic waste in coffee shops and the processing process to make it into selling goods. The data collected through interviews shows that from the various coffee shops that have mushroomed in Jakarta, there are also coffee shops that care about the environment by sorting plastic waste. This coffee shop, namely Brookland Coffee, participates in donating coffee pouch waste to Demibumi, the process of making coffee pouches Environmentally friendly by Demibumi starts with collecting coffee pouch waste, cutting off the top, and sewing the outside with patchwork, then attaching it with adhesive so it can be folded. The conclusions obtained by DemiBumi prove that concrete action can be taken to overcome this problem. The main conclusion from this issue is that even though it is a big challenge, efforts to manage plastic waste can be successful and have a positive impact on the environment as long as it is carried out carefully by the community, such as through education, awareness campaigns, and the development of innovative solutions to reduce the use of single-use plastics can be steps. significant step.

This study explores the role of faith-based environmental programs in fostering youth engagement in biodiversity protection. As global biodiversity continues to decline, there is an increasing recognition of the importance of engaging young people in conservation efforts. Faith-based organizations (FBOs) have the potential to play a significant role in this effort, leveraging religious teachings and values to inspire environmental stewardship. The study uses a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, focus group discussions, and case studies, to examine how faith-based programs influence youth involvement in activities such as community gardens, reforestation efforts, and species protection projects. The findings suggest that faith-based programs are effective in nurturing long-term engagement in biodiversity protection by instilling values of responsibility and stewardship. Spiritual motivations, community support, and educational mentorship emerge as key factors contributing to sustained youth participation in conservation initiatives. However, challenges such as limited resources, generational differences in ecological engagement, and the integration of doctrinal teachings with scientific conservation practices are identified. The study concludes that faith-based environmental programs can expand their impact by integrating environmental education into their existing frameworks, fostering partnerships with environmental organizations, and creating inclusive platforms for all youth groups. Further research is needed to explore the long-term impact of faith-based programs on youth engagement and biodiversity protection, and to identify strategies for optimizing these programs for greater effectiveness.

Sleep disorders or insomnia refer to a condition where individuals struggle to achieve adequate sleep in terms of both quality and quantity. Insomnia sufferers often experience fatigue and drowsiness throughout the day due to a lack of optimal rest. Based on its duration, insomnia is classified into acute insomnia, lasting less than four weeks, and chronic insomnia, which persists for more than four weeks. One non-pharmacological approach to managing this issue is relaxation therapy, including the use of aromatherapy, which promotes a calming effect through pleasant scents. This community service program aims to provide awareness about the benefits of aromatherapy in managing insomnia. The methods used include health education, discussions, and Q&A sessions with participants. The target audience consisted of 12 elderly individuals experiencing sleep disturbances. The evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in participants' knowledge after the session, with 91.7% demonstrating a good understanding, while 8.3% had a moderate understanding of aromatherapy’s benefits. These findings suggest that educating the elderly on the use of aromatherapy for insomnia management positively impacts their awareness of relaxation therapy’s role in improving sleep quality. It is hoped that this method can be continuously promoted as an effective natural alternative to address sleep disorders.

Increasing community literacy in environmental management is a strategic step to realize sustainable development. One practical approach that can be implemented is through community-based education. This article examines how local communities can become agents of change in increasing public awareness and understanding regarding environmental issues, such as waste management, natural resource conservation, and adaptation to climate change. Through a participatory approach, community-based education encourages direct community involvement in designing and implementing environmental programs that suit local needs. Case studies from various regions show that collaboration between communities, government, and the private sector can increase the effectiveness of educational programs and create long-term impacts. The work programs are processing organic and inorganic waste, processing agricultural land, planting trees, preventing dengue fever and making anti-mosquito spray, providing information related to Hoaxes and phishing link modes, and collecting data on MSMEs. Apart from that, there are also work programs regarding learning posts, introducing waste banks, making street signs, and creating village websites. The results obtained from this activity are an approach to the community through social activities carried out with residents and increasing community insight through the outreach and training programs provided. Apart from that, village facilities can be improved by creating street signs and village websites. It is hoped that the results of this study can become a practical guide in developing a sustainable community-based education model for environmental management.

This study examines the effectiveness of integrated marketing communication in the development of community-based ecotourism at Bukit Tungkuwiri, Papua, with the aim of linking channel strategies and governance structures to socioeconomic impacts. A qualitative descriptive method was applied using purposive sampling involving visitors, managers, and local leaders. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing using source and method triangulation. The results indicate that the orchestration of local government social media and printed materials expanded outreach and enhanced engagement, while community oral communication strengthened trust, identity, and educational experience. The appeal of the landscape, culinary and guide training, and local participation stimulated the economic turnover of stalls and small businesses, with tourist reach extending across provinces. The main constraints include dual authority systems, limited funding and human resources, and the absence of ticketing regulations and service SOPs. The discussion highlights the importance of cross-channel message consistency, brand architecture, and a monitoring–evaluation system linking digital metrics with on-site feedback. The study concludes that strengthening governance and local capacity is key to balancing promotion, conservation, and economic empowerment. The findings offer an operational model that can be replicated in similar rural destinations. Implications include establishing transparent ticket pricing, seasonal content calendars, curated experience packages, and cross-level collaboration among provincial, district, community, and business actors to ensure long-term sustainability.

The support of husbands and family members in safe childbirth preparation is crucial for pregnant women. Husbands serve as both emotional and physical companions, providing comfort and security during the birthing process. Challenges encountered in community service partnerships related to spousal and familial support in safe childbirth preparation can encompass several aspects. Firstly, a lack of understanding among husbands and family members regarding the childbirth process can result in minimal emotional and physical support. Many husbands do not participate in prenatal education, leaving them unprepared to provide the necessary support. Secondly, cultural norms that limit the husband's role in childbirth can pose challenges. In some communities, there is still a belief that the husband's role is insignificant in childbirth preparation, leading to decreased participation. This can diminish the pregnant woman's self-confidence and create discomfort. Based on the challenges faced by partners, the proposed solution is the creation of engaging informational media to facilitate the dissemination of information to the public, particularly to husbands and family members, in support of safe childbirth preparation, a program referred to as DuGaLiMan. This initiative was implemented in September 2024 at Babirik Community Health Center, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The DuGaLiMan program, which focuses on spousal and familial support in safe childbirth preparation at Babirik Community Health Center, demonstrates its success in achieving its objectives. The program has successfully increased the knowledge and awareness of husbands and family members regarding the importance of their roles during the childbirth process. With appropriate education, they can provide the necessary emotional and physical support to pregnant women, creating a safer and more comfortable environment.
